A CONTRACT WITH GOD

A contract is a legally binding instrument between two or more parties obligating them to agreements within the instrument.

Dictionary: An agreement between two or more parties that creates in each party a duty to do or not do something and a right to performance of the others duty or a remedy for the breach of the others duty; also : a document embodying such an agreement —see also

In all cases of life, and our existence on earth is about contracts with people we encounter throughout our life. This is not an overstatement it is a fact of life. Although, not all contracts are legally binding they are nevertheless contracts with others.

We find ourselves in agreements in friendships, families, and employers. In each case, there are certain things we must do in order to maintain the relationship, we will call this performance, thus, our performance is judged by the person we are in a contract with. When we fall short of their expectation the contract it is violated, and most often there is some sort of a fine to be paid by us.

A fine can come in many forms, from monetary, to an apology, a reproof, or perhaps we lose the person trust, we must pay the penalty to earn it back. But in each, and every case we are judged by our performance rather good or bad. Without question throughout our lives we are judged by our performance with others. Friendship are based on all kinds of reasons, but the bottom line remains, we still must meet someones standards, and if not, respect for our performance is lost, and the friendship will most likely end.

Such an education is what we all under in this world, and it has always been the same, having said that, it is good to understand that our values as humans beings are also based on our performance in this life. If we are to succeed in our world we must have standards that we judge by, and likewise we also must be able to quickly comprehend what other peoples standards are. If we come to know
this we will pick and choose carefully who we contract with in our life.

There are many evil schemes which catch the inexperience person into contract with people wanting control over their lives for bad, and not for good, this is why words like this were coined: “there is no free lunch in this life”.

Proverbs 6:5 Free yourself, like a gazelle from the hand of the hunter, like a bird from the snare of the fowler.

Furthermore, we should understand that water seeks its own level, which means, people want other people to validate them, in doing so they seek others like them, and this is why we often here people bragging about numbers; the more people with the same views validates what we are doing good or bad; the greater the numbers the better the validation becomes.

Unfortunately, these same people may not realize that some of the greatest atrocious ever perpetrated on the human race were done because of just such thinking. Validating evil by numbers just creates greater evil.

Proverbs 17:13 Whoever rewards evil for good, evil shall not depart from his house.

So if we are honest we accept that our lives are performance based, even in love. Many are the broken hearts found when learning their love was not unconditional, but rather their performance was being judged, and when it was found lacking they were no longer loved. Moreover, many are the scoundrel demanding unconditional love for themselves while harshly tolerating no imperfections in others.

But can we as Christians contract with God, obligating God to everlasting life by our performance? Moreover, is our relationship with God performance based, and does He harshly expect us to be perfect once we let Him into our lives, that is, once we contract with Him?

Furthermore, and of much greater importance, how does one earn merit with God to be rewarded with eternal life. Does our having a good day in obeying God's laws mean we have more of God's loves than we would of on a bad day? Moreover, on a bad day have we broken our contract with God, hence, we must some how make up for it in some good works to prove we are sorry?

Proverbs 27:1 Don't boast about tomorrow; for you don't know what a day may bring forth.

Of course these are life important questions, but why? Simply put,
because our life on this earth is performance based, but does this help us too truly know God, and His Son Christ Jesus, or are we judging them based on our own performance concluding they are doing same too us? Do we put our faith, and belief in numbers, as it were, believing our knowledge of God is acceptable to Him based on the amount of people we find like us, or that we help in this life?

What is it that Christians love the most about God? Isn't it that God sees the heart, and He rewards ones that are rejected by the majority. Moreover, God takes the small one, and makes them great, and He never sees the way man sees, He does not look to numbers for validating those that love Him.

Psalms 116:1 I love Yahweh, because he listens to my voice, and my cries for mercy.

When we speak of God from a Christians point of view should we not at least see how God sees? God does not leaves us with any doubt in this matter, we can find out simply by reading the history of man found in God's word the bible. So let speak truth, and learn truth, and not validate false teachings by numbers, it will bring us no real understanding or peace into our lives, instead it will bringing us an empty dissatisfied life under the a label of some group as a Christian.

Contracting With God

First, let us know that when we contracted with one another we do
not trust the person. People say if your a honest person then you shouldn't mind signing a contract. This is what a shrewd person does to protect themselves from later misunderstanding, and if a problem occurs the person contracted with, they are then subjected to a court of law that will enforce the contract. Contracts are found in the negative sense that someone is going to break the contract; so we must understand this, they are designed with the idea of protecting ourselves from future problems, protecting our interest by creating an instrument whereby each party is forced into keeping their word.

We can agree, that going into any type of a performance based contract with some one, that is, verbal, or otherwise, they are created
to protect ourselves from hurt, or financial damages. They are not based on love. But one might think love dictates signing a contract for the mutual protection of both parties, and this might be true, but still are we defining love towards God based on performance by human rule of conduct?

1Cor.6:6 But brother goes to law with brother, and that before unbelievers!
6:7 Therefore it is already altogether a defect in you, that you have lawsuits one with another. Why not rather be wronged? Why not rather be defrauded?
6:8 No, but you yourselves do wrong, and defraud, and that against your brothers.

There are two types of contracts, one is based on law, and the other based on faith in love, do you know the difference, and if so, which type does God want from us? If we determine it is by law, that is, by fairness, and justice for both parties we actually do not have a contract with God, but why? Because this type of law contract is a two-sided contract based on distrust for the other party which might break their promises, thus, such a contract cannot exist with God, but why?

First, let us know, it is impossible for God to break His word or be dishonest, God is not sinful, nor subject too the fears of mankind in losing something materially. Secondly, God cannot associate with sin

in order for Him to do so, He must provide an appeasement, for our sin which allows us a too contract with Him. So contracting with God in fairness and justice leaves us with no one to contract unless God gives up something of great value too Himself to pay for are sins.

Thirdly, we on the other hand, cannot set up standards by law to contract with God, we must come up too His standards for us to contract with Him. Fourthly, we cannot befriend God with a legal contract, so we cannot become God's friend based on a legal contract, but why? God does not have friends based on legal requirements of the law of a contract, God only has friendship based on trust and love.

Hebrews 11:6 Without faith it is impossible to be well pleasing to him, for he who comes to God must believe that he exists, and that he is a rewarder of those who seek him.

God in past history contracted with a whole nation based on His own love for one man named Abraham, He did so out of a promise He made to Abraham, but to enact His contract, He had to set up an appeasements to deal with sin of Abraham's children. He gave to the Israelite the Law, and also a way to validate the contract by animal blood sacrifices, which was a temporarily appeased for their sins.

Yes, their sins caused a disconnect between themselves and God. God is incorruptible without sin, or the thought of sin, so any person
coming into contact with God's incorruptibility, will die, why because they have sin, a diseased that disallowed them to have complete contact with God. It is much the same as having pure water that provides life to you, and your family; then one day someone comes along, and wants you accept their polluted water by diverting it into your stream of pure water.

Falsely reasoning that this will clean up their polluted water, so they may have life also. Of course such false reasoning would cause death for both families providing nothing. but evil too all of them, and not good.

We as humans do not often think of ourselves as death dealing waters, unless we fail in our performance, and lose someone we love.
Nevertheless, from God high standards of eternal life, we are death dealing waters, and all we can pass on to others in nothing but death, from generation, to generation, and this is why all people are dying from the time of Adam, who passed on sin too the human race.

Jer.17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and it is exceedingly corrupt: who can know it? 17:10 I, Jehovah, search the mind, I try the heart, even to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his doings.

Rom.5:12 Therefore, as through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin; and so death passed unto all men, for that all sinned.

Let us remember a truth which is; “Water seeks it own level”; man waters cannot come above the level of death through sin, no matter what type of reasoning, or belief he comes up with. Moreover, where humans have hated God for not diverting His incorruptible life into waters of sin does not matters one wit! God can not seek man's level, why? Because He is incorruptible life, which cannot be corrupt by sin, when our sin comes in contact with God it perishes eternally, and so do we, and our chances for eternal life with God, and this is why our sin has to be appeased for by innocent blood, through the loss of innocent life, to cover our mistakes, paying the price, buying us back for our debt against God perfect laws.

John 1:18 No one has seen God at any time. The one and only Son,{NU reads "God"} who is in the bosom of the Father, he has declared him.

John 1:18 No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared `him'.

So God being the greater or the creator of us extents a contract to us so we may come to know Him, at this point in the history of mankind, God Has extended, but two contracts to mankind.

One is based on performance, and the other based on love. We as humans think we have a choice as to which contract we chose, but we don't because one no longer exist, although many Christian's treated it as though it is still in force, but Christ Jesus makes it very clear we don't have a choice in which contract we chose.

Romans 10:4 For Christ is the fulfillment{or, completion, or end} of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.

One contract leds into death, and the other into life, however, there are but two roads for the human race, one is broad and spacious leading into death, and this road is based on human performance, no matter, which religion, or group we associate with. The other is narrow, and cramp leading into life, but it is not based on our performance at all.

Matt.7:13 Enter ye in by the narrow gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many are they that enter in thereby. 7:14 For narrow is the gate, and straitened the way, that leadeth unto life, and few are they that find it.

Contracting With God By Law

Contracting with God based on our performance causes us to view God as an every changing person where we gain His blessings, and also His curses, but why? Because we base our blessings, and curses according to how well we perform in serving God. God, however, tells us our hearts are deceitful, thus, we issue both types of waters from our hearts, good, and evil, from the same source, by this we creates darkness, and light, from the same heart. Thus, in turn we impute good and evil too God. In other words, one day we do something really good, and we feel God is blessing us, while the next day we do something bad, and we feel God is cursing us, so we are required to find away to rectify our bad with some good.

Nonetheless, neither is true under either contract; we bless and curse ourselves by laws of our conscience. Let us understand Law as having no emotion in the matter of keeping or breaking Law, but rather fact and truth, we supply the emotion not God. God has everlasting laws or standard; when we chose to obey His laws which provide us a blessing. When we chose to disobey the law we are cursed by the curses within the law itself, which is equally true for everyone.

James.3:10 Out of the same mouth comes forth blessing and cursing. My brothers, these things ought not to be so.
3:11 Does a spring send out from the same opening fresh and bitter water?

If we understand God's wisdom that God created fish to swim in water and if they do so they are blessed by the laws governing the water it makes perfect sense. Subsequently, we don't think God as evil, or having evil intention towards the fish, nor do we think of Him temping them with jumping out of the water, because He created dry land, it has nothing to do with it no more then a fact of law that bars our emotions from the truth.

So too, it is with God's perfect Law towards us humans, the problem is found in our sins that we perceive that both good and evil as coming from the same law, because we cannot keep it perfectly, and it hurts our feelings and pride.

James 2:10 For whoever keeps the whole law, and yet stumbles in one point, he has become guilty of all.

But God is not partial in His judgments, He is the same for all, His is justice in His righteous laws, the wages sin pays in death, and we are convicted by God's righteous laws as a sinners in death.

Romans 5:12 Therefore, as sin entered into the world through one man, and death through sin; and so death passed to all men, because all sinned.

We are, so too speak, a fish out of the water, we want God to put us
back into the water for life, and when He does not, we feel by our emotions that we are cursed of God, but it is not so, we are just out of the water, so we must pay the penalty for being out of water incorporated into God's law death because we are not able to live up too the Law for eternal life.

Is God wicked for creating blessings, and curses within His Law, no! Not at all, God is not wicked for creating a fish to swim in water so that he can live life, no more so than God created man to live according to His moral laws. Adam and Eve chose not to live according to the waters of life.

John 4:10 Jesus answered her, "If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, 'Give me a drink,' you would have asked him, and he would have given you living water."

God let them swim out of the water onto land. that is, they chose for themselves what is good, and what bad for their lives, they wanted to judge for themselves, things that only God could righteously and fairly judge, as their creator. In other words, God had not created them to judge for themselves such matters of creation, they were created, and were not gods of creation as Satan deceived himself and them into believing he was. Judgment was reserved for God only, He alone has the right to judge as the creator of what was morally good for them, and what was morally bad for them.

Psalms 83:18 that they may know that you alone, whose name is Yahweh, are the Most High over all the earth.

Of course they found out soon enough that they were not god's, after making the decision in choosing to be like God. The truth was they found no freedom in their judgments at all, but instead bondage and slavery, Their own judgment caused them too fall into sin, which ended in their death. No matter what God could, or did not do, Adam and Eve, were not created to make God's judgments for themselves of what was good and bad. The one decision they could make as free moral agents, was to eat or not eat of the tree of good and evil. God did not take that choice from them, nor did He force them into
making the wrong choice.

Thus, it was by their own decision they made themselves into gods responsible for their own eternal life in choosing to judge what was good and what evil for their god-ship. Subsequently, losing spiritual contact with the source of all Life, Yahweh. They died in that same day, or in that moment, spiritually they died, which is far greater death than the physical one yet coming too them for the same disobedience of breaking God's righteous Law. They found out they were not gods with power to give themselves spiritual life, nor for that matter everlasting life in their flesh upon earth. It was just as God had stated, they were dependent upon Him as a creation of His for continue life, both spiritually and physically.

2 Kings 19:15 Hezekiah prayed before Yahweh, and said, Yahweh, the God of Israel, who sit [above] the cherubim, you are the God, even you alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth; you have made heaven and earth.

God did not change His Laws for the universe to accommodate these newly created god's in order to bring them into His association again, why? Because He could not divert Holy waters into polluted waters of sin, killing all the other spiritual life depending upon Him as the source of life giving waters.

Revelation 22:1 He showed me a{TR adds "pure"} river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.

Does this make God wicked as some pronounce Him so, in allowing Adam and Eve to sin? No, God cannot be wicked, we are wicked from our sin, sin is wicked in God's eyes because it causes death. God does not know death, nor does He create death for spirit person, or human who are created in His moral Spirit image. Adam and Eve where created by God to live, but also to live forever, physically, and spiritually this would require them to associated with God their creator, the source of their lives.

In allowing a fish to jump out of the water does not make God wicked for creating a fish to live in the water, no more so then God creating man with a free-will, how can this make God wicked in letting Adam and Eve chose? Wickedness comes for deception when it is said: “you have a choice” but then you are prevented from making the choice. God did not deceive Adam Eve, it was Satan instead who deceived them. Moreover, God did not kill Adam and Eve for making a bad choice, God did not introduce sin into their lives, nor did he want sin in their lives.

The consequence of jumping out of the water was a choice they wanted and made for themselves as gods, which caused them sin, and which brought death. God does not want fish jumping, out of the water onto the land and dying either; but because God created the fish with the ability to jump to feed itself does not make God wicked in letting the fish jump.

Gen.3:1 Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field which Jehovah God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of any tree of the garden? 3:2 And the woman said unto the serpent, Of the fruit of the trees of the garden we may eat: 3:3 but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. 3:4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: 3:5 for God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as God, knowing good and evil.

Adam and Eve chose to judge their lives according to the law of good and evil, believing with in themselves they were god's righteousness enough through their own judgments to preserve their souls alive eternally without God.

Actually all they proved was they did not have enough trust in God's love for them in choosing what was best for their lives. So they chose to believe that God Himself was wicked; withholding the truth from them. Which God was some how afraid that they would become like Him stealing his power where they would be no longer dependent upon Him, much like a dictator in controlling every part of the lives of those they rule over. Thus, they chose to impute evilness, and selfish, too Yahweh. Instead of looking at the creation which testified too God unselfish, His Fatherly love for them in creating peace and happiness in paradise out of His own love for both of them.

Adam and Eve chose the broad and spacious road leading into their destruction in judging according to laws of good and evil instead of God's love.

CONTRACTING WITH GOD IN LOVE

Lacking of love is distrust creating a vacuum for darkness and it's many evil works:

Gal.5:19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are `these': fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 5:20 idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousies, wraths, factions, divisions, parties, 5:21 envyings, drunkenness, revelings, and such like; of which I forewarn you, even as I did forewarn you, that they who practice such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

Our first parents felt this darkness over coming their lives, once unplugged from the light, evil flooded into their souls rather than the sweet light of life they had enjoyed and hope for; leaving them hopeless, and in fear of God. Instead, God had become their judge, and executioner by their own law of good and evil, in which, they chose for themselves.

Condemnation filled their hearts and minds with pain, and sadness, suddenly they were fishes out of the water, slowly dying in their flesh without a savior. Their sins had separated them from the waters of life, they were unable to drink from them, instead they were filled with darkness, not light, as Satan the Devil had promised them, Satan proved to be the liar, and God was found true.

Gen.3:8 And they heard the voice of Jehovah God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and the man and his wife hid themselves from the presence of Jehovah God amongst the trees of the garden.

So started the process of God contracting with human race bring them back into His life, so they could be rightly plugged back into the source of life, God. But the tree of good and evil was still planted by Adam and Eves disobedience to God. Thus, all humans were now faced with the same choice as Adam and Eve, would they of eat from the same tree of good and evil, that is, judging for themselves as too what is best on their like a self-sustaining god, or come back to the tree of life in God, allowing Him to make decision for them to live eternally with Him in paradise as their creator, and rightful judge?

We often here the word “faith”, somehow it immediately takes on a mystical connotation in our minds, people try to muster up some inward strengthen to please God or move something from inside themselves, but in its purist form, it is nothing more then trust based on love for God.

Law also produce faith, that is, if we do something according to a certain law it will give us back the promise of the law. In other words, we humans can't breathe water like a fish, but we don't feel deprived so we don't try. Not breathing water gives us benefits immediately in not dying. Moreover, our not disobeying the laws of the land, we get benefits/blessings from the law. Such as not running a stop sign we save lives, and we avoid costly fines. There are blessings, and curses incorporated into all laws, for this is the nature of laws.

Love law, is stronger than laws of people found in sin under the flesh, or putting it another way, physical people not spiritual. These can can see the results of breaking as physical law almost immediately, but they cannot see what breaking a spiritual law of love causes. Because spiritual faith in law of love requires our being a spiritual person, which often means waiting patiently to see what others may never see.

Faith in law is always based on our performance, which our world is build upon. Faith by law comes from ourselves in bring our well under subjection to a certain law, so we may reap the benefits of it. If one punishes the body in a work-out routine, not letting weakness of the flesh control, we will benefit, and reap the rewards of growth and of better health, increasing muscles tone, which affects our whole mental attitude towards life.

This in turn causes us to believe in ourselves, which moves us on into conquering other bad habits through self-will. But is this bad or good? Well, actually it can be both, but it is not faith in the law of love ?

Once a person start off on this road of self-will and performance by merit claiming it as Christianity in their lives it can be come the opposite of truth confusing us in lies and darkness making us believe that God is both good, and evil, as our own hearts efforts are.

James 1:6 But let him ask in faith, nothing doubting: for he that doubteth is like the surge of the sea driven by the wind and tossed.
1:7 For let not that man think that he shall receive anything of the Lord;

James 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, neither shadow that is cast by turning.

Thus, for a Christian in Christ Jesus, faith by love does not come from us our self-will, rather it comes from God, yes, our faith is from God, as a gift of His love, no mater if we have little, or a lots, it is still from God's love as a free gift too us.

Romans 12:3 For I say, through the grace that was given me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think as to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to each man a measure of faith.

Gal.5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 5:23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

Faith by love cannot be muster in our own self-will, by using our physical ability in make others do things for us including God. Faith by love does not depend on our performance so that God must repay us with Good. It does not come from obeying God's laws better than others it comes as a gift too us from the God of lights that does not change.

In other words, we cannot earn God's love by obeying rules of our faith based on laws of the flesh, we can't earn God's love at all, but why? Because God gives us His love because of His Son life, and his love for His Father, Yahweh. This one point is important because it is that, which puts us on the narrow and cramped road leading into life.

All that Adam and Eve lost is found in Jesus Christ, and his righteousness, not our own. We either come to know God by contacting with Him based on law through performance (that of the sinful flesh including all laws of performance by merit) by our own will or through Jesus Christ based on his righteousness and God's will in us, in choosing what is best for our lives now and into eternity?

DECEPTION THROUGH FAITH'S LAW

Here we find a great mystery one that has plagued the human race from its start. We can be a good person or a very wicked person, it does not matter because it works the same way. A wicked person can set up evil laws and those obeying the laws will get blessings for obeying them, which in turn, creates judgments for those judged as not obeying them.

A good person can set up righteous laws and those under them can receive blessings by obeying them. And this is why some of the worst atrocities done in human history were done by obeying wicked laws, which at the time were considered good laws for to those obeying them by those enforcing them and creating them. This is the power of law over the flesh, and this is why God says of our hearts they are deceptive and corrupt.

When Christians see life as coming from obeying laws in their religion they are just as deceived. They can boast how the law proved righteous in their lives and all the blessings they've received because of applying their groups laws and they are speaking truth. A wicked ruler can make the same statements and he too is speaking truth, both are true and both are false.

God is righteous and so are His laws, they are so righteous that our heavens and earth could be removed and God's would not change His laws and this is the power of law.

Matt.5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass away from the law, till all things be accomplished. 5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

But did you know that you cannot be declared righteous before God by obeying His righteous law? You may be blessed by the law and gain benefits in your life from the law, but you cannot be righteous by the law nor can you gain life through obeying the law.

Now this is the point of deception for many of Christians throughout the history of Christianity on earth. Once seeing benefits from the Old Law (or the laws of their group in upholding God's righteous principle of the law) they receive blessings in their live in obeying their group rules making them unmovable in their beliefs. Furthermore, they become uncompromising because their faith is from selves based performances creating great fear of not pleasing God by breaking their contract with God.

In other words, by their performance unwittingly they are declaring themselves righteous, stopping their performance creates fear and guilt that they are not good enough to have a relationship with God. By their performance justifies their worth before God.

They equally feel they are becoming more righteous until they reach the point God rewards them with eternal life. And as long as their lives go well and they are honor by other of their faith as a godly person they feel strong in their faith and convictions.

But life does not come through the law for Christians it comes through Christ Jesus, he is “the life” and without his life in us we have no life at all except this one now, passed on to us by Adam.

John 1:4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

John 3:15 that whosoever believeth may in him have eternal life.

John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath eternal life; but he that obeyeth not the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abideth on him.

John 4:14 but whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall become in him a well of water springing up unto eternal life.

John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth him that sent me, hath eternal life, and cometh not into judgment, but hath passed out of death into life.

John 5:39 Ye search the scriptures, because ye think that in them ye have eternal life; and these are they which bear witness of me;

This speech by Jesus Christ was shocking to those Jews under Law, they believed with uncompromising faith in law that eternal life came to them through the righteousness of the Old Law, it could not be removed nor could it be changed to benefit sinners. All of which was true statements; accept the most important point, which is eternal life does not come from the law.

But what these Jews had failed to understand was neither could they be righteous before God for obeying the law. The law condemned them as sinners, and it convicted them as sinners, and pronounced the judgment of the law on them as practicer of sin, which is death. Yes, they were practicer of sin! If one cannot read themselves of sin through performance by the law, then they practice sin because it is a part of there very being.

A bad fruit tree does not bear good fruit, they could not read themselves of bad fruitage by the Old Law, thus, the righteous law they loved more than God condemned them as practicer of sin.

They wanted nothing from Christ Jesus, their blessings came through law and the proof was in the pudding they were blessed by obeying the law. Moreover, their blessings made them self-righteous and harshly judgmental towards other not obeying the law. They could clearly see the faith of other judged against their laws, there was no excuse according to self-will for not making oneself do what was right as they had done. It was a matter of rebellion the death penalty for not controlling self-indulgence by their law.

Flesh seek it own level, sinful flesh does not tolerated weakness in others flesh, it hates and fears weakness, law gives flesh the right to judge those weakness. When mixed with sacred laws it create a righteous hatred for the sinner.

Young person with much power in self-will and control can become merciless towards weakness of other in their flesh. Older person after being humble in their flesh by age become more tolerant towards weakness.

But still none of them can find life or be justified by law, that is, any law.

Romans 3:19 Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it speaketh to them that are under the law; that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may be brought under the judgment of God:

Romans 3:20 because by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified in his sight; for through the law `cometh' the knowledge of sin.

Romans 3:28 We reckon therefore that a man is justified by faith apart from the works of the law.

Romans 5:13 for until the law sin was in the world; but sin is not imputed when there is no law.

Galatians 3:10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under a curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one who continueth not in all things that are written in the book of the law, to do them.

Galatians 3:11 Now that no man is justified by the law before God, is evident: for, The righteous shall live by faith;

We as Christians can fall into the same deception seeing blessings by our bring under the law or principles of the Old Law, or that of the doctrines of our religion. But here we must remember God's law is not unrighteous it is good and Holy we should not feel that good does not come too us by obeying God's righteous laws, not at all for that would be a lie. But we cannot reach life through the law or be justified by the law, that is, our righteous is not enough to give us eternal life in obeying God's righteous laws.

Romans 7:7 What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Howbeit, I had not known sin, except through the law: for I had not known coveting, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet:

Romans 7:12 So that the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and righteous, and good.

Faith by law is real, men place their lives in the hands of God physical law daily to fly in the airs to float upon the oceans, or in sending a person into outer space. Our very existence depend upon God's laws in this life. When we obey them we prosper, should we not think if we obey the Old Law we would equally prosper?

But are any of these law great enough to remove our sins or give us eternal life, no! But we don't feel offended when obeying physical law, unlike those practicing law who are quickly offended when they are told the Old Law is a good but it is not enough to gain eternal life with God, but why?

CONTRACTING WITH GOD IN CHRIST JESUS

When one see the shadow of a majestic tree they know that as the light gets brighter they will see the tree in its full glory, we do not fall in love with the shadow of the tree. The shadow is pointing to the reality of the tree that which we may will fall in love with.

Shadows change as light increase or decrease and sometimes they disappear completely, but they are only what they are because of the existence of the reality, in this case the tree.

When one falls in love with the Law more than its reality they to become an every changing shadow in their faith towards God. They find themselves condemning and being condemned by the shadow they worship; one day in righteous feeling better than other condemning, the next day condemned by a transgression in themselves.

Because the law is a god to them they must also believe it is a projection of God's own personality, thus, God is a harsh judge demanding perfection in our flesh, that is, we must please him perfectly from our own self-well. If we cannot bring certain habits under control we are condemned, condemned to death, unworthy of life.

James 3:8 But nobody can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison. 3:9 With it we bless our God and Father, and with it we curse men, who are made in the image of God. 3:10 Out of the same mouth comes forth blessing and cursing. My brothers, these things ought not to be so. 3:11 Does a spring send out from the same opening fresh and bitter water?

This causes them to believe good and evil comes from God which is a lie the same lie Adam and Eve chose to believe. It was their decision to judge for themselves good and evil that caused them to declare God evil. This evil was darkness coming first from Satan and then from their own self-will of darkness, certainly not from God the Father of lights!

James 1:16 Don't be deceived, my beloved brothers. 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow.

Here is where the road divides for all of us; one wide and spacious and the other narrow and cramped leading into life, and we must all chose which road we will walk up on.

Life cannot be gotten without faith in Christ Jesus, but why? Because trust is the issue that Adam and Eve lacked; their faith came from law not love. Law faith comes from ourselves by performance; it is good as long as it is not upset, when it does fail us we imputes evil to God.

However, faith by love does not, Faith by love trust because it loves God and waits on Him to correct our misunderstanding. Many have seen the destruction of ones faith when laws of a group falls them; imputing the harshness of the group into God, seeing God as law giver and judge they feel condemned in their flesh/faith with no way out accept by performance found in the group they were mistreated by.

But there is hope in godly wisdom, that is, the same rules apply to all humans societies under law, it is not unique to their group alone as one mistreated often believe through their fear of judgment by the group.

God knew in His wisdom that men in their fallen flesh under sin would use anything to justified their sinful acts, they must, but why? It is the nature of our sinful flesh, if the flesh feels it is better than others it feels justified as better person blessed by God. Please do not be shocked here, materializm is one of the greatest means to make one feel superior over others.

When ones gains wealth they feel blessed and they judged those without wealth as less. Education is another, once obtained one will judges others as less. And so it goes on into all activities of the fallen flesh, for dinning at fine restaurant, to drinking expensive wines, it is another notch on one's resume' proving they are superior.

In others words, once something is achieved the flesh become judgmental towards those not achieving the same. A good education makes other judge ones as foolishly for not doing as they have done.

And so when God gave the Israelite his Law, they natural inclination was for them to feel better or superior to others because of the Law.

We must understand it is the law of our fallen flesh we cannot stop judging it is one of the curses for being out of the waters of life.

That is why all men/people are liars, because they will deny they are judgmental and they cannot stop judging. Mixing religion with the law of the flesh creates greater judgment and greater deception in its members.

Because life is performance based, obtainment's become our pride, that is, the greater our obtainment's the more we are justified by others. And this is why people are in a constant state of shock when a person with great obtainment's does some sort of evil. Material blessings washes one clean in the eyes of those not having them, creating a lust within us, to obtain the same. This can be true of position or as already mention any other thing in this life that makes one better or superior over others.

Now here we find the real purpose of God's righteous Law, to show us how unrighteous we are in our sin. Can an honest hearted person live with in their own body and not know how judgmental they are? Should that not lead us to God in repentance asking for forgiveness?

Well it should, not unless they have deceived themselves through justifying their judgments as coming from God towards others? This is precisely what the Jew's did, ending in the death of Christ Jesus. Adam and Eve were not to make such judgments those judgments were in God jurisdiction not humans, and this is why Jesus stated:

Matt. 7:1 "Don't judge, so that you won't be judged. 7:2 For with whatever judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with whatever measure you measure, it will be measured to you.

FOOLISHNESS OF JUDGING IN CHRIST

Can a person be in Christ Jesus and eat of the tree of Good and Evil, in other words, can thet judge good and bad for themselves while also judging other?

This may seem like a very strange question, but it is not, rather it is a most valid question being Jesus Christ instructed his follower not to judge any longer or they would be judged the same, but what did he mean? Christian have used the excuse for judging others from the time of Christ that their judgments are righteous because they are based on the bible.

Seemingly this nullifies their being judged the same, but as discussed early in this document the sinful flesh cannot stop judging not unless it is found in Christ Jesus and this is why Jesus said we must not judge others.

But we can't stop even if we confess Christ Jesus, simply put, even in Christ Jesus we are still sinners, so what did he actually mean? First we must understand that the Old Law given to Moses was expressing God perfect righteousness toward men. It was to show them that they were sinners and because they were sinners they were in need of God's help and forgiveness. The only way to perfectly settle the issues was judging ones actions against God's righteous standards of the Law, which would leave little or no doubt forgiveness of sin was needed for us.

This was the main purpose of the Law of God, once convicted of being a Law breaker than it pronounced the conviction for sin which is death. Man would then see they had no way out of death not unless God was a good loving God, if so then He would provide us away out of sin death into life with Him. Some people put faith in God that he would provide away to salvation for them. Yes, the conviction of the God's righteous law was to produce faith in us toward God.

The law had prepared hearts for thousands of years until God provided the way out in His Son Christ Jesus.

Sadly, though, most Jews did just the opposite, they made the Law a god for their salvation missing God way of Salvation in Jesus Christ. The very law condemning them as unrighteous was twisted into declaring themselves righteous so they could earn salvation into eternal life with God.

Many Christian groups since the time of Christ have taken the same approach reverting back to the “principles of the Law” claiming their righteousness comes through these principles found in Christ Jesus.

Where these are mistaken is that Christ Jesus replaced the righteousness of the Old Law, with his own righteousness, but why was this needed? Simply put, there was no way out of death for those convicted of sin, this conviction proved to be the whole human race accept Jesus Christ born a man upon earth.

Law was an shadow of what is expected by a perfect man, that is, a perfect man like Adam before his fall into sin would have been declared righteous by the Old Law. Jesus is called the second Adam being perfect as a human, once he lived perfectly under the Law the Law had completed it's purpose, how?

By Christ Jesus living perfectly under the Old Law he fulfilled it, and it was set aside, no longer needed to convict people of sin, but why again? Christ Jesus became our righteousness not the Old Law, in substituting his perfect life under law for ours.

Many Christians repeat these words but they don't really comprehend them. Christ in becoming our righteousness took the judgment of the Old Law away from us. When God deals with us He is dealing with Jesus Christ and his righteousness not our own. Nothing is more important for a Christian to understand then this, we cannot be righteous by the Old Law, not can be found in Christ Jesus by our own righteousness. In both case if we think we are justified in our own righteousness we are under death not life.

The righteousness of the Old Law produced death, the righteousness of Christ Jesus is life.

Why is this true, Jesus was rewarded eternal incorruptibility by God for his faithfulness to God righteous standards the Old Law, thus, those becoming part of Jesus Christ are given the same life, those becoming part of the body of Law receive judgment and death that is the reward of the law.

God had contracted with mankind by His Law, now He was contracting with them by love, but what is the difference? Law is performance based pointing out we our sinners because our performance falls short in meeting the requirements of the contract.

Love contract with God is not performance based, it is a gift of love by our Heavenly Father. It performance was meant in Jesus Christ and God now imputes Christ Jesus performance to us as a free gift which ones have coined grace or undeserved kindness.

In other words, our performance is not accepted in Christ Jesus, Jesus performance completed and fulfilled the Old Law. We cannot do better than that as sinners, we can only humbly accept this unfathomable blessing as a gift of love.

Grace or the free gift of undeserved kindness is and impossible concept to our sinful flesh it rejects and fights against it in all of its sinful power. The law of our flesh is performance based Legally it distrust any thing or anyone offering it a free lunch.
