Legislating Love

Romans 8:28 We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.

Can love be legislated? Here we have a question that may interest you or not? But nonetheless, it is one of the most important question as humans we can ask ourselves, why?

Because the source of all life is calls Himself by love! So the question which poses a dichotomy, that is, a direct contradiction in terms, can love be legislated? If love must be legislated by rules, laws, and /or doctrine is it any longer love?

Two Types of Love

Actually, there are only two types of love, one type is freely given, and the other type is “merit love” which is earned by meeting rules and laws, within relationships. The merit love is common among all human on earth under sin past on by Adam and Eve. While love freely given is common among spirit person, God's angels, and the Son of God, Christ Jesus, the two types of love are as much different as is light is to darkness!

1 John 3:1 Behold, how great a love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! For this cause the world doesn't know us, because it didn't know him.

Two Minds

There are two minds as well, the fleshly mind, which produces merit love, and the spiritual mind, which is for us human in found in God's wisdom, Christ Jesus. One is a spirit mind, while the other is a fleshly mind. One mind is free from sin, while the other mind is created by sins and the laws that control and punish sin upon this earth for the human race.

1 Corinthians 1:24 but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God.

Understanding God's Word?

There are two types of God's word, do you know what they are? One is the bible, and the other is Christ Jesus as God's word to mankind. When the fleshly mind set upon merit love comes in contact with God's word the bible it must, and does produce all its meanings from God's word the bible with merit love. In other words, it cannot do otherwise, why?

John 8:43 Why don't you understand my speech? Because you can't hear my word.

Because the fleshly mind is in itself created by sin, it not a matter of changing the fleshly mind to think differently as all Christian believe, it about putting to death this fleshly mind where there is no lust of evil thoughts towards God, and other, and instead bring forth a new mind one created by God from His love freely given us, without the old mind, that is, without merit love.

Romans 8:13 For if you live after the flesh, you must die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.

Luke 5:38 But new wine must be put into fresh wineskins, and both are preserved.
Something New!

The fleshly mind hates new, sic, changes because it draws from security of law in its history, so when presented with something new it fights against it, once over come with it, the fleshly mind lays claim to it as though it thought it up first and claims it as it own.

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new.

So when the fleshly mind hears God's word about a “new creation” it first thinks of self, and changing self with laws of the flesh by self-will than it claims that changes as a self-made man in Christ Jesus, done through the logic of the fleshly mind, and the will of the flesh producing merit love.

1 Peter 3:21 This is a symbol of baptism, which now saves you--not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,

Galatians 6:7 Don't be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.

Whereas, those of the spirit mind, that is, the mind of Christ Jesus, they understand by Holy Spirit they have been made new, not by old leaven, yeast, but instead by Christ Jesus life, which they have become apart of Christ, so they have the mind of the body, a spiritual mind making them new.

2 Corinthians 3:6 who also made us sufficient as servants of a new covenant; not of the letter, but of the Spirit. For the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.

1 Corinthians 5:7 Purge out the old yeast, that you may be a new lump, even as you are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, has been sacrificed in our place.

Yeast, what is yeast? Yeast is the laws of sin, which permeate the whole lump of God's unleavened bread, Christ Jesus, into corruption of the fleshly mind that is dead to God and Christ Jesus with sins laws.

Romans 8:10 If Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the spirit is alive because of righteousness.

Romans 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death.

The Stubborn Fleshly Mind

The fleshly mind is stubborn it fights against the spirit mind of Christ Jesus by its very thoughts opposed to the law of love. The fleshly mind hates any thought of freely giving love without earning it. The fleshly mind cannot know God for this reason, nothing bring greater anger to the heart of fleshly mind than something for nothing. Such thought cannot and does not exist within the fleshly mind. But this is the world it lives in, which is darkness to the God of love, YHWH!

Romans 7:14 For we know that the law is spiritual, but I am fleshly, sold under sin.

Romans 8:8 Those who are in the flesh can't please God.

The fleshly mind has created a god from the bible of earned merit from the world it lives in. In other words, the fleshly mind projects its own nature into God's natures as truth, which make all those with a fleshly mind believe a lie! Subsequently, the fleshly mind is a lie to God, because it cannot know God, and if it does not know God, it must project its own heart into God's personality which teaches it lies about God.

Colossians 3:9 Don't lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old man with his doings.James 3:14 But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your heart, don't boast and don't lie against the truth.

However, the fleshly mind is stubborn it will not admit a wrong, or that it cannot know something particularly when it is educated to read. The fleshly mind will not accept the nature of things within its own mind. That is, it cannot know God, which is a truth, why? Because God said it is truth, and God does not lie. The fleshly mind will deny all evidence on all levels to be correct its think, why? Because knowledge is what saves the fleshly mind, not the life of Christ Jesus as the truth.

1Cor. 2:10 But to us, God revealed them through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. 2:11 For who among men knows the things of a man, except the spirit of the man, which is in him? Even so, no one knows the things of God, except God's Spirit. 2:12 But we received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is from God, that we might know the things that were freely given to us by God. 2:13 Which things also we speak, not in words which man's wisdom teaches, but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual things.
2:14 Now the natural man doesn't receive the things of God's Spirit, for they are foolishness to him, and he can't know them, because they are spiritually discerned. 2:15 But he who is spiritual discerns all things, and he himself is judged by no one. 2:16 "For who has known the mind of the Lord, that he should instruct him?"{Isaiah 40:13} But we have Christ's mind.

The fleshly minds truth is its own interpretation of God's word the bible that saves it by self-knowledge as is all the ways of the fleshly mind. Merit earned in love and in knowledge is the reward of the fleshly mind, there are no gifts: “beware of Greeks bearing” gifts is the fleshly minds model.

Creation Teaching us Wisdom

Which creation teaches wisdom the one before sin, or the one after sin? Actually both creation should teach us wisdom, what wisdom? Well, we have the fleshly mind wisdom that is intellectual; creating new medicines, and science, for mankind in studying God's creation, but we are here speaking of light, the spiritual mind of Christ Jesus whom created all things invisible and visible as God's Word of truth.

What is it about creation that should speak about God's love too us? Well, for one, the human body, as so often mention by the apostle Paul whom was inspired to write that God 's creation testifies about His wisdom too us.

The human body does not legislate love too its members, it does not have to say: “hand you must love the eye in the head, and remember too love thy foot too!”

Ephesians 5:29 For no man ever hated his own flesh; but nourishes and cherishes it, even as the Lord also does the assembly;

A bird of the heavens does not need to have laws legislated too it so it can fly, no! The bird was created to fly, and the hand was created without being told as part of the body. This is how creation teaches us wisdom, how can we say that?

Luke 12:24 Consider the ravens: they don't sow, they don't reap, they have no warehouse or barn, and God feeds them. How much more valuable are you than birds!

Simply put, Paul was speaking to the spiritual mind, the body members of Christ Jesus, as a new creation, he was not addressing the world, making some profound statement that the fleshly mind could understand, no! The fleshly mind cannot understand Paul's words, the fleshly mind will unravel Paul's words with the legal fleshly mind, which ill interpret all things within its own creation, as laws of sin and/or merit.

Why does creation need to be understood by those with a spiritual mind, because the word “creation” means coming into existence by God's power, and not the power of mankind intellect through self-will of personal educated intellect.

The fleshly mind had nothing to do with God's creation, God did not create it as a god, where He must consult with us to make sure he created everything according to the laws of the fleshly mind set upon merit for reward, no!

God created from love, freely giving mankind life, he did not first say; “earn life and than I will create you, let push this to legal limited of sins laws, imputing evil into all things so we don't take a chance”. No God created from love not seeking a reward, but love believing all things, hoping all things, which is, truth the legal fleshly mind cannot do with out, it must first testing such things against laws of its own mind before giving anything.

1Cor.13:4 Love is patient and is kind; love doesn't envy. Love doesn't brag, is not proud, 13:5 doesn't behave itself inappropriately, doesn't seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil; 13:6 doesn't rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; 13:7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 13:8 Love never fails.

So the brothers and sisters of the new creation must see God's creation as a gift, coming into exist without the will of mankind, if they cannot do that they will fall into self-creation by laws of earn merit calling it the new creation, which creationg is a gift given freely from God as was the first creation of life, Adam and Eve. Look too the visible creation witness with a the spirit mind, and not the fleshly mind.

Creating Self

The fleshly mind creates itself over a life time, but is this the new creation of God through Jesus Christ? No! God's new creation is His own making for His own purpose, it is new, with a brand new man ruling in love within the hearts of mankind.
However, the fleshly mind creates itself for better or worst, how? From parents to education. The flesh must have love legislated too it in order too control itself in losing that love of other human in its life. The fear of judgment is the key to understanding the fleshly mind and its world. The fleshly mind must be made to feel guilt in order to changes, it has to create itself from punishment of laws into something better, such as being honest, a hard worker, kind, loving, and so on. But it is a self-creation from the will of the flesh, and its mind of flesh, And not from Holy Spirit of God

Ephesians 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them.

In other words, if we are to say the natual flow of water comes from the mountain into creeks then into rivers, and finally into the seas, where evaporation collects water, and the cycle repeats itself over, and over again for life on earth, no reasonable mind would be offended.

But telling the fleshly mind its world cannot know the love of God, because it is set upon merit love from laws of its own flesh, created by sin, is very offensive to the fleshly mind, but it is a truth. Why is this such an impossibility for the fleshly mind to accept, because it is spiritual unseen, and unfelt by the laws of the flesh. It is when the fleshly mind comes into contact with the spirit world that it is lost into fear because all that it knows, and put faith in does not work in that world.

Matthew 14:26 When the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, "It's a ghost!" and they cried out for fear.

As Peter experience, and the other apostles with Christ Jesus did not walked upon water, nothing within their world could have explained in laws of their flesh something so wonderful. But the fleshly mind takes over and says: “Peter had more faith so he was able to walk upon water where the other apostles could not”. Once again the fleshly mind runs too laws of merit to explain something spiritual. Peter had no more a less faith than others, it was God's Spirit, and Peters willingness to walking on water, nothing more.

How can we say this, does a hand judge the faith of the foot, or is it just a foot on the body with as much life as the hand? Is there evil in the mind of the hand saying look at me? No! It is only those within the laws of fleshly mind that think in such strange ways as to pollute the very creation of God, and worship things created as though they created through self-will.

Rom.12:2 Don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God. 12:3 For I say, through the grace that was given me, to every man who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think reasonably, as God has apportioned to each person a measure of faith. 12:4 For even as we have many members in one body, and all the members don't have the same function, 12:5 so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.

Competition of The Flesh Mind

The fleshly mind lives in a world of earned merit in all aspect of it self-creation, from love to respect, so by its own standards the fleshly mind is a mind of competition that competes for the greatest favor, more over it is a liar. There is no other world for the fleshly mind than to be better, and/or beat its opponent to prove its is better. Subsequently, when the fleshly mind comes in contact with God's word the bible, not the Word of God, Christ Jesus, it competes with the rules found within the word of God, how does it do this? If the fleshly mind is set upon being righteous as important because it has witnesses people that it admires as being righteous according to bible standards it will compete with every other fleshly mind Christian's over being more righteous than them. It must win to gain merit, which in this case, a better standing with God in its own fleshly mind.

Romans 12:5 so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.

The nature, the natural flow of the fleshly mind has not changed it has been diverted into a new subject rather that be education, religion, government, service, management, the competition is still an intricate part of the fleshly mind personality. So taking God's word the bible, and legislating into what ever values does not change the fleshly mind into a new mind of Christ, what it does do is make the fleshly mind more religious in its appearance, actions, but with the same old laws or rules of sin created by the fleshly mind.

If those rules and laws are not legislated the fleshly mind will go back to its old man, because love cannot be legislated.

Romans 8:3 For what the law couldn't do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God did, sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh.

Sins Laws

What are sins laws? Well, they are not God's law, God has but one law, love, which has no sin in it. So sins laws where created from the fleshly mind of Adam and Eve, and what made their thoughts laws of sins, merit, they thinking they could earned the right to be a god, like God. What? Yes, they thought they were a self-creation by their good thoughts of right and wrong, they thought they could stay spiritually alive, as God, eternally, with never ending life.

Thus, their law from their fleshly mind, and not the mind of God cause sin, and sin cause death spiritually, and finally physically. Their think was corrupted, they were not a self-creation, they were a creation that forgot to look up at God's creation for wisdom. They worship created things, themselves, by laws of the fleshly mind that ended up in all kinds of unrighteous evils. Satan lied to them, started legislated love; one must earn love because they cannot be trust if given love unconditionally. In other words, only give love by proving you are worthy of love, before we can show you love. Distrust first, always take the worst thought, and hope it will get better, protect yourself first by laws of the flesh, because the flesh is evil if it is not made to what is right!

1 John 3:10 In this the children of God are revealed, and the children of the devil. Whoever doesn't do righteousness is not of God, neither is he who doesn't love his brother.

1 John 4:10 In this is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son as the atoning sacrifice{"atoning sacrifice" is from the Greek "hilasmos," an appeasing, propitiating, or the means of appeasement or propitiation--the sacrifice that turns away God's wrath because of our sin.} for our sins.

But are these the wicked thoughts of God, whom is love, does God have both evil and good like Adam and Eves fleshly mind did? Can the fleshly mind be renew as false religion teaches, or does it have to be dead, and the Word of God, Christ Jesus teaches?

James 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow. 1:18 Of his own will he brought us forth by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of first fruits of his creatures.

In other words, does Christ Jesus have two minds as sinful human, one of sins laws under evil for punishing the wicked which causes us to earn merit by proof of change, or the mind of God, love?

Can love be legislated to the new creation?

Legislating Love to The New Creation.

Once again we present a chasm between dark and light, the new creation is Christ Jesus, those made part of him are part of the new creation, as body members, being direct in love from the mind of the body, Christ Jesus. What does creation teach us? Well, look at your own body, yes, the mind makes it do things it does not want to do, but does it pick on one body part going outside of itself to find a rule of law religious or otherwise legislating the hand or foot that it must do something, or rather, does the whole body suffer when one member suffers?

What law takes away this suffering, none other, but love, that comforts the suffering member with the help it needs. Does the head have to have a rule book like the bible to love the foot according to a rule of law?

This is why the fleshly mind cannot know God, because it is set upon laws for sin and punishment, usually the flesh of others, did you note that? Yes, the fleshly mind enforces laws upon other people it accounts of as wicked, not itself, so much, but others it judges with the same fleshly mind, but why?

Matt.7:1 "Don't judge, so that you won't be judged. 7:2 For with whatever judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with whatever measure you measure, it will be measured to you. 7:3 Why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but don't consider the beam that is in your own eye? 7:4 Or how will you tell your brother, 'Let me remove the speck from your eye;' and behold, the beam is in your own eye?

This is accepted conduct of the fleshly mind as fair and just, where those enforcing the law puts themselves above the law, how? By earned merit, what is the earned merit? the enforcing of the laws upon other, which gives the fleshly mind the right not to obey the same law.

This is the biggest deception of the fleshly mind thinking by earned merit it exempts itself from rules that apply to all according too the impartial God, Jehovah, whom is not like our fleshly mind. Merit deceives the weak fleshly mind as it thinks it climbs a ladder of success in each step its take in obeying some rule of law, which in its mind allows it exemption in obeying some law as the giver of the law. In other words, the fleshly mind cannot separate itself from being a god, like Adam and Eve, so the law, although, God given, the fleshly mind takes as its own, because it enforces it, thinking it is exempt from it punishment as a god.

Moreover, this is why a person can accept God's love as a free gift turn around and demand payment from another human being without fear for the same gift. Such thinking is the darkness and confusion of the fleshly mind that must think in legal terms like an attorney of the law exempting its self, by some legal clauses in a contract, because it has not broken that one clause within the contract, it is exempted from not keeping all the contract!

Matt.18:22 Jesus said to him, "I don't tell you until seven times, but, until seventy times seven.
18:23 Therefore the Kingdom of Heaven is like a certain king, who wanted to reconcile accounts with his servants.
18:24 When he had begun to reconcile, one was brought to him who owed him ten thousand talents.{Ten thousand talents represents an extremely large sum of money, equivalent to about 60,000,000 denarii, where one denarius was typical of one day's wages for agricultural labor.}
18:25 But because he couldn't pay, his lord commanded him to be sold, with his wife, his children, and all that he had, and payment to be made.
18:26 The servant therefore fell down and kneeled before him, saying, 'Lord, have patience with me, and I will repay you all!'
18:27 The lord of that servant, being moved with compassion, released him, and forgave him the debt. 18:28 "But that servant went out, and found one of his fellow servants, who owed him one hundred denarii,{100 denarii was about one sixtieth of a talent.} and he grabbed him, and took him by the throat, saying, 'Pay me what you owe!' 18:29 "So his fellow servant fell down at his feet and begged him, saying, 'Have patience with me, and I will repay you!'
18:30 He would not, but went and cast him into prison, until he should pay back that which was due. 18:31 So when his fellow servants saw what was done, they were exceedingly sorry, and came and told to their lord all that was done. 18:32 Then his lord called him in, and said to him, 'You wicked servant! I forgave you all that debt, because you begged me. 18:33 Shouldn't you also have had mercy on your fellow servant, even as I had mercy on you?' 18:34 His lord was angry, and delivered him to the tormentors, until he should pay all that was due to him. 18:35 So my heavenly Father will also do to you, if you don't each forgive your brother from your hearts for his misdeeds."

The Fleshly Minds Greater Good

It is a noble thing for the fleshly mind to serve a greater cause than itself, even if it mean doing some evil for the greater good. But is this the standard of the spirit mind of Christ Jesus, no! No, it is not, why? Because God is good, and everything He does in good and life, He does not like man get caught up in some cause doing good for others, and covering up the evil fruit in fear it will undo the good He has done.

This is why the fleshly mind cannot know God, why? Because as Adam and Eve did in disobeying God's love, justify themselves, so too is the nature of the fleshly mind. The fleshly mind reach back into it file of earned merit by doing some good, and says; “here is my payment for doing this little bad”.

Now compound this thinking by a composite man, a government and/or corporation greats amount of evil can be done, condoned, and even lied about by its members. But is this God's way, the way of love in the spirit mind of Christ Jesus? No!

God Redeems Mankind

God is not fooled by mankind justification, or his tongue from a fleshly mind, He knows and states the true condition of mankind sold into sin and slavery by Adam and Eve. God shows man his hopeless situation that Adam and Eve passed on too the human race, so they will not be taken in by false mind of flesh, and its foolish self-righteous ways.

God makes no excuses for the fleshly mind, he does not say he is going to redeem it, rather He says it must be killed - our fleshly mind and give us a new creation, so it will no longer influence us for an eternity. He does not accept any works or responsibility of the our fleshly mind that built this world, why?

He does not condone our justification of the good we have done in his name despite the fleshly mind rejection of this thought, no! God gives us the life of His Son to redeems us for breaking the commandments, he paid the price of our sin, and our breaking the laws accepting the truth that the fleshly mind was not created by God as a new creation so it cannot have part in it, or its yeast thoughts that corrupts the perfect law of love.

Because as the fleshly mind cannot be redeemed from corruption of sins laws neither can the things it has built by such laws, and thinking, it must go, be gone, burnt with fire so it goes back to the ash and dust from which came, it did not come down from above as the mind of Christ did for our salvation. The fleshly mind cannot be renewed day to day, that is, without the thoughts of sin, but the mind of Christ can in the law of love which is life.

Colossians 3:10 and have put on the new man, who is being renewed in knowledge after the image of his Creator.

Can Love be Legislated?

So the ultimate question remains can love be legislated by the fleshly mind or for that matter from the mind of Christ Jesus, which is love? No! Love cannot be legislated, love is not negative, or it is not love, but rather distrust, making it created so a person can earn and prove they are worth loving.

God knows that mankind and his fleshly mind created from Adam and Eve is not worth redeeming, so He gives us a new mind that is dead to Adam and Eve's fleshly mind. He than supports that mind with His law of love, which is Him, Himself. But He furthers has given us His written word that anyone with an honest heart would have to realize it condemns us as unrighteous putting us in an impossible situation without God's help in sending us His Son in covering our sins from our fleshly mind.

The fleshly mind is also a liar and evil, it steal God's word and become even more self-righteous in claiming too other it is not a sinner, but how? By seemlying meetings some of God's commandments. It also states it can put away the filth of it own sinful flesh by meeting rules and laws of the bible, or its religion, but all this is a lie! The fleshly mind is dead, if we are to live in Christ Jesus; it is dead, no longer being judged by laws of the flesh, removed for the law in Christ Jesus, life, whom took our judgments, he stood in for us, by his perfect merit, which gains us life, without judgment; this is not the fleshly mind under the judgment of sins laws condemned by God's own righteousness as wicked and evil.

The Love of Undeserved Kindness

Only a Great and Wonderful God could stand above the sins of our fleshly mind, and give us good when we give him evil by our fleshly minds judgments. Only a God of intellectual superiority could have mercy upon a fallen creation that cannot help themselves, which judges Him as evil and good. Thankfully the God of love YHWH is not fleshly minded, but He stands above all false gods of this world maintaining complete peace in the knowledge that love cannot fail mankind, God does not doubt love as weak.

He rather extends His love to all that will come to Him for help, He is not far off from anyone of us, He gives His love freely, something we cannot earn so we may say at some point: “Father of the heavens you owe me because I keep you commandments perfectly, no!” Not so, we are sinners, we need unmerited love from above to give us life, yes, the life of Christ Jesus, so we may have a new mind that thinks in peace with the God of peace.

Loving, loving kindness, is the position we must stay in, to stay in the mind of Christ Jesus, and walk in the new law of our new mind in Christ Jesus that will go on into eternity; where the fleshly minds hates law of love; anxious cares will perishes into the dust from which it came, void of the mind of God that cannot die.

This is the mind our Father will gladly transform renewing day to day as we all struggle in our flesh against the evils of our fleshly mind in deceiving us too God's love.
