Chapter 10

March 21, 2013

Rom.10:1 Brothers, my heart's desire and my prayer to God is for Israel, that they may be saved. 10:2 For I testify about them that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge.
10:3 For being ignorant of God's righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, they didn't subject themselves to the righteousness of God.

The apostle Paul here summat's the whole problem with the Jewish faith being blinded to the Christ, and what is that? Lets remember Paul himself formerly a high ranking powerful leader of the Jewish faith knew why?

Simply, put the Jewish faith sought righteousness through the law in doing so they were seeking their own righteousness, something many modern day Christ cannot fully grasp because of religious education not Holy Spirit lead education. No Jew could be righteous by the Law of Moses, the Law of Moses condemned them as an unworthy sinners deserving of death, not eternal life for trying to meet a law that only one righteous man every keep the Christ.

John 7:19 Didn't Moses give you the law, and yet none of you keeps the law? Why do you seek to kill me?"

The very knowledge the Law taught the Jewish faith and our own faith that all men are sinners, they are not righteous by works of law, and they need atonement by innocent blood of a victim, a lowly animal that did not sin against the law, because the law was not created for animals, but man proving he was a sinner! Here than all man's righteousness is but bloody rages of an mensuration woman unclean in the filth of their flesh. Such knowledge the Jewish faith should have had after thousand's of years of being under the Law of Moses, but they were blinded.
Romans 2:23 You who glory in the law, through your disobedience of the law do you dishonor God?

Yes, blinded thinking they had put away the filth of their own flesh by keeping the law, but they had not, and the witnesses of blood stood against them each time they went before God as a nation and a person, atonement was for sin, sin against God and His righteous law. Certainly the Jews had zeal for God righteousness expressed through the law thinking they were a superior righteous people separated from the rest of mankind as unclean pangs deserving of death by YHWH.

Romans 3:19 Now we know that whatever things the law says, it speaks to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be closed, and all the world may be brought under the judgment of God.

Romans 3:20 Because by the works of the law, no flesh will be justified in his sight. For through the law comes the knowledge of sin.

But zeal and knowledge of the law did not put away the filth of their flesh as they had imagine, by works of law, their flesh and its filth stood. It stood in a thought! Yes, thought of lusting for the opposite sex, hating and judging one another, they were permeated through and through by sins yeast, they were not unleavened bread as they thought by works of law. They were corrupted and death was its proof they were not keeping the law.

John 5:39 "You search the Scriptures, because you think that in them you have eternal life; and these are they which testify about me.

Veiled to the Christ, the atonement blood of the passover lamb by self-works, self-rightness, making a pleasing appearance in their flesh before other unrighteous men dressed in holy garments. They did subject themselves to God righteousness, not under the law of Moses nor the law of Christ. No! They did not understand God's own righteousness expressed in one person the Christ. The Jews had to be apart of Israel under one temple to share in the blood of the mercy seat. Now they must be in Christ Jesus to have God's righteousness upon them in Son of God, the passover lamb.

2 Corinthians 3:13 and not as Moses, who put a veil on his face, that the children of Israel wouldn't look steadfastly on the end of that which was passing away. 3:14 But their minds were hardened, for until this very day at the reading of the old covenant the same veil remains, because in Christ it passes away. But to this day, when Moses is read, a veil lies on their heart. But whenever one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away.

Rom.10:4 For Christ is the fulfillment{or, completion, or end} of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.

The law was physical by sight with immediate conviction and reaction for those under it, but not the fulfillment of the law, it was completed by faith in the righteous blood of Christ Jesus, the lamb of God, the passover lamb. Most of the Jew's did not put faith in the lamb of God, Christ Jesus. Hence, to date a veil is on the face of the Jewish faith when the law of Moses is read.

2 Corinthians 3:14 But their minds were hardened, for until this very day at the reading of the old covenant the same veil remains, because in Christ it passes away.

Not unlike many modern day Christian's whom argue the law was not completed by Christ Jesus righteous blood, so too, a veil is on their own face blinding them too the glorious freedom given to God's children through the precious blood of Christ. Yes, a veil of self-rightness, which is self-righteousness - self-merit, not in the evil wicked way most Christian's thinking of self-righteousness, like the Pharisee's, but in proving themselves righteous through works of law, what law? The laws of a religious group, or just feeling because they are trying hard to be good Christian's according too God's word the bible, they are better than the average person not doing so!

Galatians 2:16 yet knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, even we believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ, and not by the works of the law, because no flesh will be justified by the works of the law.

Here than is the point there is no righteousness in men, none, not without God providing atonement by blood for them! For the Jews, it was animal blood, for Christian's is is Christ Jesus blood, hence, there is no other way to be righteous, not by laws, or by commandments, nor in zeal for God, but only through Christ Jesus righteous life earning us a standing with God as righteous by faith. But none of this can be had without faith in Christ blood in removing the laws judgment upon us.

Romans 7:4 Therefore, my brothers, you also were made dead to the law through the body of Christ, that you would be joined to another, to him who was raised from the dead, that we might bring forth fruit to God.

Galatians 3:24 So that the law has become our tutor to bring us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith.

Some Christian's teach the law was not abolished by Christ Jesus, when we break it, but they are mixing good with evil polluting both, this is how false religion was planted by weed-law Christian's when God allowed his restraint to be removed filling his world wide field with weed-Christ and/or yeast teaching of sin, what does this mean? Teachings of sins laws created to condemn the wicked, not the pure bread of unleavened bread Christ Jesus under the law of love.

Actually these Christian's stand condemned for lack of faith which is not a glowing indictment of their faith, faith is the key for Christian's not sight of law working for or against those who are wicked. Yes, wicked for the law was not created for the righteous as Christ Jesus proved in giving his own sinless life for us. The law, and the laws of the flesh could not convict him of wickedness being the sinless lamb of God. It could only reward him for his righteousness giving him life, eternal, the reward of the law for a righteous man!

Galatians 5:4 You are alienated from Christ, you who desire to be justified by the law. You have fallen away from grace.

Rom.10:5 For Moses writes about the righteousness of the law, "The one who does them will live by them."{Leviticus 18:5}

Here is the question each person must face when speaking about the law under Moses, are we righteous or is the law righteous? Why is this so important for without this simple basic teaching the roof of our house of faith cannot be completed.

No person is righteous by the law, the law convicted a person of unrighteousness, a sinner, than it held out a hope of redemption through the blood of innocent victim an animal, an animal never broke the law because God did not create animals to keep the law, but man.

Romans 3:10 As it is written, "There is no one righteous; no, not one.

Now we can understand Paul's words above he is not saying keep the law and be righteous, no, he is instead saying if you want to stand right before God it must be by the blood of an innocent victim for breaking the law. Many Christian's think that because they are strong in a few points of the law it earns them approval under the law, but they would be dead wrong, why dead wrong, because their death proves they are not righteous for the laws reward was everlasting life.

Christ meant the law without sin and was entitled to the reward of the law, not after his death, but life on earth eternally before the Jewish religious leader murder the Son of God, which God allowed for atonement by an innocent victim to save us.

Romans 2:13 For it isn't the hearers of the law who are righteous before God, but the doers of the law will be justified.

Galatians 3:11 Now that no man is justified by the law before God is evident, for, "The righteous will live by faith."{Habakkuk 2:4}

Now it takes faith in the unseen incorruptible life of Christ Jesus to be approved of God, not as many Christian's think by the approval of some man or organization upon earth by attending meetings or doing some good work. Such thinking makes the love of God into a work of law seen by other sinful people, it is not worshiping in Spirit and truth that Christian's must do by faith, and not sight.

Romans 5:19 For as through the one man's disobedience many were made sinners, even so through the obedience of the one, many will be made righteous.

Rom.10:6 But the righteousness which is of faith says this, "Don't say in your heart, 'Who will ascend into heaven?'{Deuteronomy 30:12} (that is, to bring Christ down)

Is there a difference in righteousness? Well, there is, a righteousness by law, and the righteousness of Christ, many Christian's do not understand this thinking both are the same righteousness.

1Cor.1:30 But of him, you are in Christ Jesus, who was made to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption:

Christ Jesus becomes our righteousness, why? Because according to the laws righteousness we are unrighteous by our inherited sin from Adam. Christ than completed the righteousness of the law for us being he was not a sinner according too the judgment of the laws righteousness, with his own righteousness, which is superior to the laws righteousness that perfected nothing in us as sinner.

Romans 9:31 but Israel, following after a law of righteousness, didn't arrive at the law of righteousness.

This is Paul's point here, nothing more. The law was physical for a fleshly nation of physical people a shadow of the superior righteousness of Christ Jesus by his precious blood given for our complete redemption, and perfecting our faith in God, love.

Romans 8:10 If Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the spirit is alive because of righteousness.

Yes, now we know, the superior righteousness of Christ that it was because he loved God, with his whole heart, soul, and mind, which Adam failed in doing for us as our father. Christ Jesus, thus, becomes our Father of eternal life, the tree of life, for the human race based upon love, which take trust in YHWH and/or faith in his love.

The law could not legislate love for God, so it perfect nothing for us, but instead convicted us as unrighteous needing redemption through innocent blood. But Christ righteousness is based upon his love for his Father, so he can perfect us in love for God. We now have a view of God as a Father instead of a judge condemning us into death because we cannot meet his own righteousness seen through the law.

Yes, we are adopted through Christ Jesus righteousness as son loved by our faith removing our deserved judgment through the law, were we can trust even in our disobedience that our Father will not cast us away like trash, but discipline us with life in view, praise God for He is mighty in wonderful works of grace!

Romans 5:18 So then as through one trespass, all men were condemned; even so through one act of righteousness, all men were justified to life.

Romans 5:21 that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Rom.10:7 or, 'Who will descend into the abyss?'{Deuteronomy 30:13} (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead.)"
10:8 But what does it say? "The word is near you, in your mouth, and in your heart;"{Deuteronomy 30:14} that is, the word of faith, which we preach:

Why would Paul quote these verses from the Old Law? Many Christian's have no idea, and than there are those that do, but still don't get it because they are trying to understand Christ by works of law; not just the works of law from the Old Law, but instead all laws created to control our sinful flesh, which is pretty much everything mankind has built since sin entered into our world!

Life with God cannot be gained through our good efforts in meeting certain rules of mankind, or for that matter the righteous law of God give through Moses. It is as impossible for such a person to stand before God and say: “I've never thought about the opposite sex inappropriately”! All human are liars, they cover up bad, with some good they have done in some other area of the their lives.

Romans 3:10 As it is written, "There is no one righteous; no, not one.

So Paul address the truth of our sinful hearts in what it believes about serving and understanding God, which is: “How can we please God when we are never good enough, we can never reach high enough, some days are good, but others are not. I judge this person and let others off, so how can I get this knowledge, who can do all this, so I can apply it too myself??”

Romans 5:19 For as through the one man's disobedience many were made sinners, even so through the obedience of the one, many will be made righteous.

No you can't, don't be fooled God is not both good and evil like us, he is instead good giving us perfect gifts, he is not tricking us handing us a serpent when asking for a fish. We are not good enough in our own merit, we can never meet the laws requirements as a sinner, but its not that hard as works of law suggest, it is simple, God is love, and he has supplies us merit in the perfect life of the Son of God Christ Jesus if we confess him as our own God given merit , and stop trying too obtain eternal life through our own worthiness.

Galatians 3:11 Now that no man is justified by the law before God is evident, for, "The righteous will live by faith."{Habakkuk 2:4}

We are sinners unable to keep the law, or earn life as a sinner, God must, and happily does help us by the blood of Christ Jesus. Moreover, even if we accept Christ and go back to earning merit through some so called religions rules/laws upon earth we can add nothing too Christ or take away from Christ, we stand not on one good effort our own, but the Christ alone impaled for us!

This is Paul's meaning here, if we go into self-merit in earning life with God through our own goodness, or good works, we will find ourselves crying out to the heavens like the Jew's: “who will go into heaven to bring Christ down from us, or into the sea too bring him up for us?”

No! If we thinking this way we are trying to be Christ upon earth without sin so we can be accepted into life with God, which is a lie, and unobtainable through our own efforts.

Rom.7:21 I find then the law, that, to me, while I desire to do good, evil is present. 7:22 For I delight in God's law after the inward man,
7:23 but I see a different law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity under the law of sin which is in my members. 7:24 What a wretched man I am! Who will deliver me out of the body of this death? 7:25 I thank God through Jesus Christ, our Lord! So then with the mind, I myself serve God's law, but with the flesh, the sin's law.

Rom.10:9 that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

When legal Christian's read Paul's words here like the Jews also did they grit their teeth, and immediately start like attorneys of law trained to twist words into legal jargon, twist these verses into a works of law.

Romans 8:8 Those who are in the flesh can't please God.

In other words, God's word is not about trust/faith that God is good, it is rather about God tricking us into gaining life through some clause understood only by attorneys of faith! Can a person be saved so easily that is the legal question? Can Christianity be so easy as to confess Christ and be saved? Not according to those seated at the tops of multi-billion dollar corporate religion, no! Why? Because the truth is if it were that simple their position as a god judging and managing a massive religious ship would not exist!

Matt. 4:8 Again, the devil took him to an exceedingly high mountain, and showed him all the kingdoms of the world, and their glory.
4:9 He said to him, "I will give you all of these things, if you will fall down and worship me."

Hence, the very thing Paul was dealing with at his time an massive controlling religion that had existed for thousand's of years the Jewish faith which was not ever going to believe a small group of Christian's whom did not worship in the Mountain of Jerusalem, but instead in Spirit and truth like its founder Christ Jesus, no way.

Hebrews 12:28 Therefore, receiving a Kingdom that can't be shaken, let us have grace, through which we serve God acceptably, with reverence and awe,

No government, and don't think for one minute that religious corporations are not governments in practice, ruling over the lives of millions by a few highly sought position at the top. All governments are set up by laws, laws that need practicing attorneys, not just literal attorney's, but attorney's of their faith to promote, punish, control, and protect the companies interest. Thus, one cannot just believe, it requires special knowledge from the government to be saved.

Luke 13:21 It is like yeast, which a woman took and hid in three measures{literally, three sata. 3 sata is about 39 litres or a bit more than a bushel} of flour, until it was all leavened."

1 Corinthians 5:6 Your boasting is not good. Don't you know that a little yeast leavens the whole lump?

Gladly weed Christian's , as Paul knew their fleshly mind, would give their freedom in Christ to these powers as all flesh has done since sinning against God. This is the nature of the fleshly mind that will worship and die for a government cause, killing and destroying other fleshly mind people in the name of righteousness. Missing entirely truth of the last Adam (Christ Jesus) to bring us back to a personal relationship as Adam and Eve both had in the paradise garden with God. A worship in Spirit and truth, in a trusting loving relationship with YHWH.

Rom.1:21 Because, knowing God, they didn't glorify him as God, neither gave thanks, but became vain in their reasoning, and their senseless heart was darkened. 1:22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 1:23 and traded the glory of the incorruptible God for the likeness of an image of corruptible man, and of birds, and four-footed animals, and creeping things. 1:24 Therefore God also gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to uncleanness, that their bodies should be dishonored among themselves.

Rom.10:10 For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Here a legal Christian's reads the words “unto righteousness” their thinking goes immediately to the laws/commandments, and/or their religions laws, but is this the righteousness Paul spoke to here, or another?

Romans 6:18 Being made free from sin, you became bondservants of righteousness.

Well, let us reason, can a Christian's with their mouth confess the Old Law and be saved? Can they confess a religion and be saved? In fact, can they confess anything other than Christ and be saved? So who's righteousness are we confessing? Most Christian's really don't understand that Christ Jesus righteousness replaced the righteousness of the Old Law, or for that matter any laws created to punish sin in humans!

Romans 6:19 I speak in human terms because of the weakness of your flesh, for as you presented your members as servants to uncleanness and to wickedness upon wickedness, even so now present your members as servants to righteousness for sanctification.

A sinner must confess Christ Jesus righteousness which removes their judgment as the lamb of God, in their heart, and with their mouth. Simply put, one cannot legal confess something before God in a contract of faith through some legal religious organization, no! Why? Because Christ gave a complete heart sacrifice to God too gain us. So what is Christ Jesus righteousness? It is his perfect life without sin abolished our deserved judgment under God's law for sinners. Christ was a self-righteous man, not needing forgiveness of sin through blood. He walk in his own integrity and gave us that perfect life as a gift of God's love.

Romans 8:10 If Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the spirit is alive because of righteousness.

Romans 9:31 but Israel, following after a law of righteousness, didn't arrive at the law of righteousness.

Hence, fulfilling the Old Laws judgment against human convicting them of being a sinner deserving of death. Now Christ righteousness stands as the thing saving us, but legally our knowing this does not save us, or by repeating the words Christ Jesus over and over again, no! What saves us is our own love and faith in God goodness towards us as a Father, whom we love because he is so good as withholding nothing to save us from this body under going death.

Subsequently, this love cannot be legislated, bought or sought through a lack of faith which is imputing evil to a good Father that gives only good gift to his children. Hence, this is what was lost by Adam and Eve, and must be gain through our own faith in love.

Romans 10:3 For being ignorant of God's righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, they didn't subject themselves to the righteousness of God. 4 For Christ is the fulfillment{or, completion, or end} of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.

James 1:16 Don't be deceived, my beloved brothers. 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow. 1:18 Of his own will he brought us forth by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of first fruits of his creatures.

Rom.10:11 For the Scripture says, "Whoever believes in him will not be disappointed."{Isaiah 28:16}

How wonderfully beautiful Paul's words of truth here under the power of God's Holy Spirit, but how arduous legal minded Christian's have made refreshing waters of life. Like the Pharisee's before them they have added measuring line upon measuring line to faith making it impossible to enter into the Kingdom for love of YHWH. Thinking themselves wise in protecting what they have no God given right to protect they make God into a legal man preventing ones from entering into His Kingdom by religious rules of man made organized religion.

Isaiah 28:13 Therefore the word of Yahweh will be to them precept on precept, precept on precept; line on line, line on line; here a little, there a little; that they may go, fall backward, be broken, be snared, and be taken.

Was the apostle Paul lying and are you dying in your sins by obeying the rules of some religion instead believing the truth? Are you disappointed in your religions leadership, do you fear yet another embarrassing readjustment in so called truth? Do you think God can disappoint you? Do you think God is an ever changing shadow based upon the latest science, or new discovery about the bible history?

John 5:41 I don't receive glory from men.

John 5:44 How can you believe, who receive glory from one another, and you don't seek the glory that comes from the only God?

These are simple questions, but one should know religion helps us lie by promoting an agenda, an agenda,what is that? It is where we deny the very truth of our hearts to uphold a so called religious truth of a man made organization! Religion is as an every changing shadows upon the ground as the light of God crosses the sky. It is the foolish legal-minded man god that justifies their evil actions by politically correct speech coming from its trained attorney's of religion.

Romans 8:8 Those who are in the flesh can't please God.

James 1:16 Don't be deceived, my beloved brothers. 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow.

Paul was a great legal mind, but he did not do that, he did what we must do, and believe God cannot disappoint us if we put faith in Him, that is, trust in him and not man. Yes, this is the pattern of Christ life, something a religion cannot do, which is put simple faith in Christ Jesus. Christ put his faith in God love as truth. Can we be in Christ as an intimate body member and at the same time put faith in a religion, or some man running a religion? How far has a person drifted from the Christ when they simply can't believe God is good?

Romans 15:3 For even Christ didn't please himself. But, as it is written, "The reproaches of those who reproached you fell on me."{Psalm 69:9}

Mark 15:15 Pilate, wishing to please the multitude, released Barabbas to them, and handed over Jesus, when he had flogged him, to be crucified.

Rom.10:12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, and is rich to all who call on him.
10:13 For, "Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved."{Joel 2:32}

Once again shocking speech by the apostle Paul, the Jews were chosen as God own people set aside for special service, unpolluted by the nations through God's law!

Levitius 19:15 "'You shall do no injustice in judgment: you shall not be partial to the poor, nor show favoritism to the great; but you shall judge your neighbor in righteousness.

Now Paul states above there is not a distinction all whom call upon the Lord will be saved. Legal minded Christian's as well hate such speech, if its not about their group thinking themselves special chosen of God, hence, not realizing God is not partial, that is, applying two laws, and/or covenants to different groups. YHWH is the same, today and yesterday, loving all the same, having one law over all.

Luke 20:21 They asked him, "Teacher, we know that you say and teach what is right, and aren't partial to anyone, but truly teach the way of God.

However, mankind lives by merit earned through laws of death, yes, laws of death, but why? Because all laws outside of YHWH are laws of self-governance which are sin causing death too us. God has but one law expressed through a new covenant with mankind, the Royal law of love. Death does not exist in love, because there is no sin/laws, and/or conviction of sin in love. However, sinful mankind earns love by meeting rules of others, or a religious group.

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

But God love cannot be earned by self-merit it is given freely too us by God's own goodness/love as a “free gift”, undeserved. God does not have two sets of scales, one for those he likes, and those he hates, he only has one law love. Subsequently, it is our choice to love God or not, but we cannot earn love by being in a certain religions, or being a Jew, or keeping the law, no! The gift is life, the life of Christ Jesus indwelling us by love. It is his love that changes us into a new person/creation not under death by sins law, but instead, in the life of Christ under the law of life, love.

Romans 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death.

Romans 6:22 But now, being made free from sin, and having become servants of God, you have your fruit of sanctification, and the result of eternal life.

Rom.10:14 How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in him whom they have not heard? How will they hear without a preacher?
10:15 And how will they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: "How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the Good News of peace, who bring glad tidings of good things!"{Isaiah 52:7}

There is a preaching by Holy Spirit led, and there is a preaching by rule of law! The Holy Spirit led preaching is by divine appointment through the God's holy angles, but the rule of law preachings is by fear and hate of not meeting some groups policy or the fear of losing out on eternal life with God. Wouldn't it be nice if God were such a simple man as a politician who does care the reason why just do it too make Himself look better, but creation itself should teach us wisdom. God does not boast like little men, He does no hang labels no everything He creates so no credit will go to others. Nor does he take free will away letting his whole beautiful creation fall into sin and death proving He let Adam and Eve make their own choices.

Ephesians 2:17 He came and preached peace to you who were far off and to those who were near.

But what of preaching, well, love creates peace, and peace is the message of the Kingdom, however, many preaching the so called Kingdom of God have anything but hate in their message, their feet are not Holy Spirit lead, or found in peace, but rather in obligation by rule of law from some religious organization. Whereas, the early Christian's Paul spoke too here were motivated by a love of God with good news of peace for those listening. They did not push and pronounce judgments upon those not listening, no!

Ephesians 6:15 and having fitted your feet with the preparation of the Good News of peace.

Colossians 3:15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.

They had peace in their heart the overseer of the body of Christ. When opposition became extreme they did not stand and boldly call upon the Holy Spirit to rain down hell on their enemies, no, not at all. They simple went were ones wanted to listen in peace knowing something that fleshly minded Christians hate hearing, Christian's don't fight with words, wrangling, or with fist, they fight with God's Holy Spirit which He gives to his children that love their enemies praying for them.

Hebrews 12:14 Follow after peace with all men, and the sanctification without which no man will see the Lord.

Titus.3:1 Remind them to be in subjection to rulers and to authorities, to be obedient, to be ready for every good work,
3:2 to speak evil of no one, not to be contentious, to be gentle, showing all humility toward all men. 3:3 For we were also once foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.
3:4 But when the kindness of God our Savior and his love toward mankind appeared, 3:5 not by works of righteousness, which we did ourselves, but according to his mercy, he saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit.

Rom.10:16 But they didn't all listen to the glad news. For Isaiah says, "Lord, who has believed our report?"{Isaiah 53:1} 10:17 So faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
10:18 But I say, didn't they hear? Yes, most certainly, "Their sound went out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world."{Psalm 19:4}

What a profound shocking statement Paul quotes here from Isaiah 53:1 by the prophet Isaiah! Why don't some people here the truth, the question of all ages of human history the call of God went out, but most did not hear God speaking through His word? Word in this case can mean God's written word, but also the Son of God, the word of God, because we know the very angels of God declared the Good News of Christ to the nations.

Revelation 14:6 I saw an angel flying in mid heaven, having an eternal Good News to proclaim to those who dwell on the earth, and to every nation, tribe, language, and people.

Can a person say that if man did not preach God has the ability to communicate without them? Well, such a foolish question causing great discomfort for the fleshly mind, yes! God does not need sinful flesh to do his work, but weed-Christian can not imagine God can complete his work but through their efforts. God has spoken to his people before written word was thought of, and later we have the promise of God that he would teach each one of his children by Holy Spirit the same Spirit which created and educated the first human couple Adam and Eve. So how did they not hear at Isaiah times, Paul's time, and now our time. Because they worship not in Spirit and truth, a self-evident seen in the creation testifies there is a God. There is no lack of knowledge for those seeking God, He is not far off from any of us. Do we want too know the truth, than ask God to give you the truth its that simple, but that requires a little faith that He will, which is a little trust there is a God and He cares about you.

Matthew 3:9 Don't think to yourselves, 'We have Abraham for our father,' for I tell you that God is able to raise up children to Abraham from these stones.

Luke 19:40 He answered them, "I tell you that if these were silent, the stones would cry out."

But Paul is speaking about those having a great deal of education in God's ways by the law, however, they still did not know/hear God and the Christ, but why? Simply put, they hated by laws, they looked at brother, sister, and the nations and judged them by God's righteous laws feeling righteous or superior over them. When a person is in such a fleshly mind they cannot hear God speaking through Holy Spirit from His written word or the Word of God, Christ Jesus.

Romans 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are children of God.

The law blinds the fleshly mind into wrangling, defending a judgment, which means a conviction of the other person. Once this process starts it seeks not God, but proof of evil in the other person by some rule, law, and/or biblical doctrine to convict the person of evil. Subsequently, the person has an evil eye, which looks for the evil in the person, not the good of blessing them with a gift of God's undeserved kindness. The evil becomes so paramount in the person fleshly mind they must kill their opponent with words, or physically by their evil judgment of them.

This is why they did not hear a person cannot hear God in hateful judgment, or seek Him through kindness, love, and faith the fruit of Holy Spirit which feeds us the bread of life, Christ Jesus.

Romans 11:8 According as it is written, "God gave them a spirit of stupor, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear, to this very day."{Deuteronomy 29:4; Isaiah 29:10}

Rom.10:19 But I ask, didn't Israel know? First Moses says, "I will provoke you to jealousy with that which is no nation, with a nation void of understanding I will make you angry."{Deuteronomy 32:31}

The law was the pride of Israel, such understanding of the law legally blinded them to any real understanding of God/YHWH. Subsequently, stumbling most of the nation when God sent them the Christ whom so seemingly disobeyed their legal understanding of God's law that they murder him.

God stretch out his hand time and again to Israel for thousand's of years. but she refused in self-righteousness by the law. Yes, is it not the law, when a person violates the law which cause most people jealousy producing angry? Jealousy of getting away with what others obey, causing anger and jealousy. Yes, the self-righteous nation of Israel hated the surrounding nations and their conduct, because they understood the law, this self-righteousness only caused them hate when God used these same nations to discipline his own people Israel. Now think about this, it did not humble this nation into saying: “If my enemy has power over us, and God is allowing this because Israel cannot be brought down by any nation unless we have done something wrong perhaps we better find out why.?”

James 2:12 So speak, and so do, as men who are to be judged by a law of freedom. 2:13 For judgment is without mercy to him who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment.

But what did Israel do, they hated more because of the unrighteousness of the nations, they failed to get it, and that is the problem with legal people, Jew's or otherwise, they fail to understand God's righteousness, they are so caught up in looking to each other blaming each other they cannot see the truth, and what is the truth?

The truth is Israel was not redeemed by the law, it only served to condemn, convict, and punish them as unrighteous sinners, just as it did the nations Israel was judging with the same law. Here than is the blinding of law. Christian's are so busy judging their conduct against those not Christian's or some other faith that they have created a competition just wanting to be better, not concerned with the truth. They are just like every other fleshly nation on earth, practicing the same works of the flesh in trying out doing their opponents.

James 2:9 But if you show partiality, you commit sin, being convicted by the law as transgressors.

Subsequently, a war of flesh words, quoting bible verses condemning and being condemned. But the truth is Israel stood by the blood on the altar and Christian's stand by the blood of Christ, not in being declared righteous by laws, rules, and/or commandments. We are all sinners without Christ Jesus righteousness.

James 4:5 Or do you think that the Scripture says in vain, "The Spirit who lives in us yearns jealously"? 4:6 But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, "God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble."{Proverbs 3:34} 4:7 Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 4:8 Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

Rom.10:20 Isaiah is very bold, and says, "I was found by those who didn't seek me. I was revealed to those who didn't ask for me."{Isaiah 65:1} 10:21 But as to Israel he says, "All day long I stretched out my hands to a disobedient and contrary people."{Isaiah 65:2}

Have you ever noted law bound people how stubborn and uncompromising they can be when applying the law to someone else, but just the opposite when they find themselves under the judgment of the law? Here Paul speak of something so profound that it has simply baffled Christian's for some two thousand's years; what blind the Jews into such contrary disobedient people to God?

Luke 6:39 He spoke a parable to them. "Can the blind guide the blind? Won't they both fall into a pit?

The Jew's boasted in loving God and proved it by being law obedience people, it was not because of a lack of law the Jew's had bound themselves in every possible way with laws compounding law upon laws. And why not if a little is good, a whole bunch must be really good/righteous, right?

Matthew 23:19 You blind fools! For which is greater, the gift, or the altar that sanctifies the gift?

Here was the problem, here is the same problem so many Christian's whom blind themselves by organized religion have. The fleshly minded person is a law person, the fleshly mind person gain strengthen to its fleshly will by enforcing and creating laws. The law empowers the fleshly minded person into believing they are righteous by meeting rules and demands of the bible, and/or organized religion, but they would be wrong! In fact, the same wrong that blinded the entire nation of Israel to the promise Son of God, and what was that? It is, self-rightness by works of some law. There is no self-rightness in human according to God's judgment of them, and this is the reason not one human born of Adam could have eternal life by their good works in obeying the rule of law.

John 9:18 The Jews therefore did not believe concerning him, that he had been blind, and had received his sight, until they called the parents of him who had received his sight,

John 9:20 His parents answered them, "We know that this is our son, and that he was born blind;

John 9:24 So they called the man who was blind a second time, and said to him, "Give glory to God. We know that this man is a sinner."

John 9:25 He therefore answered, "I don't know if he is a sinner. One thing I do know: that though I was blind, now I see."

John 9:32 Since the world began it has never been heard of that anyone opened the eyes of someone born blind.

John 9:39 Jesus said, "I came into this world for judgment, that those who don't see may see; and that those who see may become blind."

So yes! The call went out to God's people to the ends of the earth, God time and again stretched his hands to Israel, but because of self-rightness instead of being made right as a sinner to God's law by innocent blood, they judged God and his Son as unworthy of life according too their unrighteous judgment by law!

However, the Gentiles needed not four thousands years of training to accept the Messiah, they did not need prophets, kings, and priest to simply love God as a good Father. How shocking legislating love by rules of law under the name of Christ, Jehovah, YHWH, or any other name, it still creates one huge lump of leaven bread.

2 Peter 1:9 For he who lacks these things is blind, seeing only what is near, having forgotten the cleansing from his old sins.

Revelation 3:17 Because you say, 'I am rich, and have gotten riches, and have need of nothing;' and don't know that you are the wretched one, miserable, poor, blind, and naked.
