Truth Has No Agenda

Do you believe the truth has no agenda? Please think about this statement very seriously, because humans under the disease of sin have agenda's.

Jeremiah 17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and it is exceedingly corrupt: who can know it? 17:10 I, Yahweh, search the mind, I try the heart, even to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his doings.

When we have an agenda we have: an underlying often ideological plan or program, a political agenda.

We may sincerely believe our agenda is the truth, and what is best for society, and teach it with passion only to find out later that it was not the truth. Furthermore, it is interesting that human agenda's are driven by our education, fears, insecurity, anger, and so on, but are these human weakness the truth? Moreover, and can anyone of us honestly say we are the “truth”?

Most often we are taught by someone else something is truth, and we defend it by repeating selective information to support the group views, or the persons views of the truth. But is it the truth, or is it an agenda driven by insecurity, and that we chose to believe because we like the thought, or the people teaching it as truth? Moreover, when we find information contradict our personal agenda do we simply find ways to excusing the information by labeling it good, or evil?

Is truth, truth, if it is agenda driven? Furthermore, our we actually seeking the truth, or are we so busy defending something we believe as truth, that if the truth was given too us we would reject it? Do we love truth, so much that we were willing to give up our own personal agenda to find it?

Here is the question Jesus Christ himself put before all the human race, are we willing to give up this life, for the truth? Jesus did not say there were many truth's on earth, but why? Because people are controlled by sin, and sins promotes fear, which in turn, promotes agenda's in each one of us.

John 3:21 But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his works may be revealed, that they have been done in God."

John 14:6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.

2 Corinthians 4:2 But we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by the manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.

Love of truth has no agenda, it seeks truth over are most precious chosen ideas, it is willing to accept truth over personal fears, and pride, but why? Because truth is love for Christian's, it can only conform us more, and more to God because He is love. There is no fear in love, neither can there be fear in our lives conforming to greater truth. When we see truth as losing something it is based upon judgment, and not love for the person of truth God.

John 3:21 But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his works may be revealed, that they have been done in God."

Truth produces only good fruits, it does not justify bad fruits as good, in order to hang on to so called truth. Truth based upon condoning bad conduct is not truth it is driven by insecurity of losing truth. It has an agenda that blind us to truth. Moreover, the same judgment we condemned other for we are ourselves feel it is OK to support our truth.

In other word, if it takes lying to support our truth is it truth? Making this point clear, we are actually saying our truth is better than others, so we give ourselves the right to lie to support the truth.
