Nothing But The Christ

1 Corinthians 2:2 For I determined not to know anything among you, except Jesus Christ, and him crucified.

What if someone was to tell you that you and me are born of sin, and because of that sin we past on sin to our children? Moreover, because we past sin on to each generation of human all humans died?

Now what if, you were told that sin is like yeast it spreads into unleavened bread corrupting it, fermenting the whole lump into leavened bread? Will if you can grasp this concept, the apostles Paul's words stated above will become very meaningful to you as a lover of truth.

In other words, if we preach ourselves we spread yeast into all of Christ teachings corrupting the whole body of the new covenant into leavened bread fit for destruction.

Matthew 13:33 He spoke another parable to them. "The Kingdom of Heaven is like yeast, which a woman took, and hid in three measures{literally, three sata. 3 sata is about 39 litres or a bit more than a bushel} of meal, until it was all leavened."

Matthew 16:6 Jesus said to them, "Take heed and beware of the yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees."

Shocking Truth of Preaching!

Many since Christ Jesus time have preached themselves, unwittingly, believing they were adding good to Christ. You see, what is the entire message of the bible? Is it an organization, a theme we repeat over and over again to make a point we want to stand out defining us as different from other religious people?

Such as hell, God's name, tithing, nonviolence, is this the theme of the bible, God's message to mankind, and does preaching such things add yeast to the Christ? Will, the theme of God entire word for us Christian's, is the Christ, and him impaled.

Romans 15:29 I know that, when I come to you, I will come in the fullness of the blessing of the Good News of Christ

Now think carefully about this, when we get on an agenda as we all do, we are preaching ourselves. In other words, if we take a verse or thought out of God's word the bible, and preach it as the center piece, we are in fact taking or adding to God's word the bible, putting ourselves in the way of the Christ and him impaled.

Why Christ and Him Crucified or Impaled?

1 Corinthians 1:10 Now I beg you, brothers,{The word for "brothers" here and where context allows may also be correctly translated "brothers and sisters" or "siblings."} through the name of our Lord, Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfected together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

What if someone was to tell you that to stand before God having your prayers heard, you must be accounted sinless by the blood of Christ? Yes, without Christ Jesus righteous blood we cannot even talk to God. Moreover, we must go through Christ Jesus as our head, what does this mean?

1 Corinthians 3:11 For no one can lay any other foundation than that which has been laid, which is Jesus Christ.

It means our own forgiveness, and righteousness comes from Christ Jesus. Hence, the bible says because of this we are part of his body. Now how is Christ body connected, and feed, it is because we have received the righteousness of his body? God Holy Spirit for Christian's does not exist individual by our good intention to love God. God's Holy Spirit must rest in righteousness, which as stated in Christ Jesus. Subsequently, there is no other place in heaven or upon earth we can find God, unless its in Christ.

1 Corinthians 3:23 and you are Christ's, and Christ is God's.

There is no individual message for Christian's, but the Christ, they factually don't exist in God's eyes unless they are in Christ Jesus.

1 Corinthians 1:30 But of him, you are in Christ Jesus, who was made to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption.

Christ Impaled and/or Crucified

God sent his Son to die for us, Christ was crucified for loving his Father/YHWH more than himself. Because Christ blood was righteous, that is, without sin, he could pay the price for our eternal life. We have been adopted by Christ righteousness, hence, which means, his sinless life as our new father replacing Adam, whom sold us into sin.

1 Corinthians 15:45 So also it is written, "The first man, Adam, became a living soul."{Genesis 2:7} The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.

This is the theme the center piece of our life as Christian's there is no other foundation that matters unless this foundation is laid as the rock to build upon. When we preach ourselves, we hence, state, unwittingly to those we preach too, look at my works, what I am doing for God, give me credit.

1 Corinthians 6:15 Don't you know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them members of a prostitute? May it never be!

Impaling Self!

Being a body member within our own body is selfless, it is selfless service, do you understand this? In other words, the eye, the hand, the foot is only in our body because of the body!

Job 14:4 Who can bring a clean thing out of an unclean? Not one.

The body member does not boast in good works, it does not justify itself for being in the body, its justification exist because its in the body a part of it! How can it talk about itself without talking about the body? How can the body boast of another body, that is, some else body?

Psalms 97:7 Let all them be shamed who serve engraved images, who boast in their idols. Worship him, all you gods!

In other words, how does a body member of Christ boast about a religious organization, is the body member connected to an organization, or Christ body? You cannot be connected to both and have the life and justification of the body of Christ.

1 Corinthians 4:7 For who makes you different? And what do you have that you didn't receive? But if you did receive it, why do you boast as if you had not received it?

Lets say a group of men and woman get together, and pick a theme from the bible, a label if you will, and place that upon themselves for identification of their ministry. How does your hand on your body pick another name, but the name of the body?

Acts 2:36 "Let all the house of Israel therefore know certainly that God has made him both Lord and Christ, this Jesus whom you crucified."

1 Corinthians 1:12 Now I mean this, that each one of you says, "I follow Paul," "I follow Apollos," "I follow Cephas," and, "I follow Christ." Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Or were you baptized into the name of Paul?

You see, presumptuousness cannot be in the body of Christ, it simply incompatible, God's creation should teach us this much, by looking at our own body. Why would a hand or a foot preach something other than the very body that gives them life and existence?

1 Corinthians 2:2 For I determined not to know anything among you, except Jesus Christ, and him crucified.

We are not impaled for others, so they may think they can have life outside of the body of Christ. We are not the Christ, we are part of his life, because he was impaled for us, so we could be made new in his life, not our life, our message, our ministry.

1 Corinthians 5:7 Purge out the old yeast, that you may be a new lump, even as you are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, has been sacrificed in our place.

Not a Populace Message

As Christian's we must come face to face with a stunning truth! All that's in the world is hated by God, not human, but their many schemes and thoughts in promoting themselves through cleaver advertizing slogans, and human justification condoning evil of sin by good words.

1John 2:15 Don't love the world, neither the things that are in the world. If anyone loves the world, the Father's love isn't in him. 2:16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, isn't the Father's, but is the world's. 2:17 The world is passing away with its lusts, but he who does God's will remains forever.

God's Holy Spirit is not popular, the world and all that in it is created from flesh, and its desires, do you understand the impact of this thought? In other words, the Holy Spirit does not excite our flesh, it does not make it feel good, it kills our sinful flesh and its desires. In other words, the message of the Holy Spirit is Christ, not church, meetings, slogans, the endless list of clever marketing tools for the Christ. These thing only plant with flesh in view, and create fleshly minded Christian's that want to be excited in the flesh under the banner of Christ Jesus impaled!

Galatians 5:24 Those who belong to Christ have crucified the flesh with its passions and lusts.

Galatians 6:8 For he who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption. But he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.

2Cor.4:18 while we don't look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal.

However, the Christ does not sell, he cannot be water down, or put yeast of sin in the unleavened bread of life and not corrupt the whole mass of Christ Jesus. In other words, as shocking as this statement will be too some, Christ is never going to be popular in a world of fleshly minded people seeking the things of this world by the uses of Christ name.

John 9:39 Jesus said, "I came into this world for judgment, that those who don't see may see; and that those who see may become blind."

Nor is Christ going to be popular among those weed-Christian's. The Holy Spirit does not consort with sinful flesh condoning its unrighteous acts. The Holy Spirit is found in Christ Jesus, God's temple and we must come up, to a message hid from the eyes of the world into Christ righteousness.

2Cor.5:16 Therefore we know no one after the flesh from now on. Even though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now we know him so no more. 5:17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new.

Despite all the boasting in the flesh by numbers or whatever other means to prove a message is from Christ the truth stand. If Christ appeared today, 99.9% of us would reject him for false teachings.

2 Corinthians 4:4 in whom the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the Good News of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn on them.

1 John 5:19 We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies in the power of the evil one.

John 1:10 He was in the world, and the world was made through him, and the world didn't recognize him.

Holy Spirit Teaching

The only way to hear the message of Christ, and him alone impaled is by Holy Spirit, it cannot be gotten any other way! The Holy Spirit is not going to teach the flesh to be better flesh, it is going to kill the sinful flesh, making us new by Spirit in Christ. Than the Holy Spirit teaches us, not some man claiming to be apart of the body of Christ trying to be our head, or Lord.

1 John 2:27 As for you, the anointing which you received from him remains in you, and you don't need for anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is no lie, and even as it taught you, you will remain in him.

In other words, teachings is not a goal in Christ it is a gift given by the head of the body, its not obtained by studying religious writings, its a gift, do you understand this? The hand of your own body does not have a separate relationship with another person body so it can be educated in the ways of the body its attach to, no!

Col.2:19 and not holding firmly to the Head, from whom all the body, being supplied and knit together through the joints and ligaments, grows with God's growth. 2:20 If you died with Christ from the elements of the world, why, as though living in the world, do you subject yourselves to ordinances,

It is very personal that some one does not foolishly take our hand and start telling it how to be part of the body its is connect too. Such shocking conduct is most offensive, so when religion, or groups of people start teaching a body member of Christ how to be part of the very life pumping through it, thinking such teaching makes them superior in doing so is actually evil!

James 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow.

1 Peter 4:10 As each has received a gift, employ it in serving one another, as good managers of the grace of God in its various forms.

If one teaches let him be connected to the body of Christ understanding his or her's teachings is a gift too the body, and not a right to dominate and/or beat other body members, how wickedly presumptuous!

None should imagine that a person can be qualified as teachers in the body of Christ by legal documentation through a theological college for preachers. Nor by repeating words from the bible and/or a friendly personality that sells other on idea.

2Cor.3:4 Such confidence we have through Christ toward God; 3:5 not that we are sufficient of ourselves, to account anything as from ourselves; but our sufficiency is from God;
3:6 who also made us sufficient as servants of a new covenant; not of the letter, but of the Spirit. For the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.

Gift Not a Legal Ministry

Can you imagine your hand saying; “here's what I have document I will do or say”; ignoring the direction of he head of the body. Can you imagine your hand being restricted by a doctrine of a certain group not to work or to work? The gift is from the direction of the head to move the hand in minister for the body or others, it not the other way around.

Thus, where fleshly minded people break the Good News into legal action that must be performed to be religiously correct, has nothing to do with operation of the Holy Spirit in guiding a person to speak to a person about the truth, which is, the love of Christ.

John 3:8 The wind{The same Greek word (pneuma) means wind, breath, and spirit.} blows where it wants to, and you hear its sound, but don't know where it comes from and where it is going. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit."

Romans 15:18 For I will not dare to speak of any things except those which Christ worked through me, for the obedience of the Gentiles, by word and deed.

1 Corinthians 2:13 Which things also we speak, not in words which man's wisdom teaches, but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual things.

How do you “canned” the Good News into a legal requirement when the very body we are attached to is a spirit body through a head telling us who and what we are to says? In other words, if you can't trust the body of Christ to get the message out who indeed can we trust, and earthly organization boast in unrighteous deeds claiming too love people more than God and Christ?

2 Corinthians 2:17 For we are not as so many, peddling the word of God. But as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God, we speak in Christ.

A Christian's better be Spirit lead, or they are not in Christ or of Christ. They better be a faithful slave speaking when the master says open your mouth, or they are not a body member in subjection too the head of the body.

2 Corinthians 4:13 But having the same spirit of faith, according to that which is written, "I believed, and therefore I spoke."{Psalm 116:10} We also believe, and therefore also we speak.

Conclusion of the Matter

1John 5:6 This is he who came by water and blood, Jesus Christ; not with the water only, but with the water and the blood. It is the Spirit who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth.

If you are a child of God having the Spirit of God, you are by truth filled with the message of Christ, the Spirit does not lie, it is the flesh that deceives us.

James 3:14 But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your heart, don't boast and don't lie against the truth.

When any child of God wrangles in his mind over rules and laws trying to prove their personal worthiness by preaching a certain legal message they kill the Spirit of God that will teach, and direct them into all truth of Christ Jesus life, which is the Good News.

1 Timothy 3:15 but if I wait long, that you may know how men ought to behave themselves in the house of God, which is the assembly of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.

We are not give a “spirit” of fear, we are however, given The Spirit of God, in a message of love, the love of the new covenant written into our hearts. Such is the personality of Christ in us as a body members. When a brother or sister speaks a message of Holy Spirit we know it truthful as coming from our brother Christ, because we know the voice of our Masters.

1 Thessalonians 2:13 For this cause we also thank God without ceasing, that, when you received from us the word of the message of God, you accepted it not as the word of men, but, as it is in truth, the word of God, which also works in you who believe.

Such a voice is not a study, it is rather Christ spirit meeting ours, that is, the Christ indwelling us as the new covenant communing in encouragement of faith. The Spirit in us connects or rejects the spirit coming from the person, it is not a intellectually fleshly minded battle over words. It is not a debate, why?

2 Corinthians 13:8 For we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth.

Simply put, because, the Holy Spirit does not teach the fleshly mind in hopes of saving it. It kills such a fleshly mind replacing it with Christ mind. That job is not yours or mine, it is the works of God through Christ, we are but a vessel used at Christ direction.

Romans 8:7 because the mind of the flesh is hostile towards God; for it is not subject to God's law, neither indeed can it be. 8:8 Those who are in the flesh can't please God.

The Good News is not fleshly at all, it is a Spirit directed work from a spirit person Christ Jesus. The only way a child of God can have the mind of Christ is, they must rest in him, that is, trust in him. Each one of us will be tested by the fleshly mind of Christian's to do this, say, or act in a certain way, but those thoughts, will intended as they may be, are opposed to faith and trust in Christ. Each child of God must act upon the faith given us as a gift from the head of our Body Christ Jesus.

Romans 12:3 For I say, through the grace that was given me, to every man who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think reasonably, as God has apportioned to each person a measure of faith.

Romans 12:6 Having gifts differing according to the grace that was given to us, if prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of our faith.

This act of faith will not be a legal act of some corporate religion or a person demanding a bible verse as a truth, it will be just as it is written into our hearts by the Spirit of truth, an act of trust, and love for our heavenly Father YHWH.

Romans 10:6 But the righteousness which is of faith says this, "Don't say in your heart, 'Who will ascend into heaven?'{Deuteronomy 30:12} (that is, to bring Christ down);

Romans 10:8 But what does it say? "The word is near you, in your mouth, and in your heart;"{Deuteronomy 30:14} that is, the word of faith, which we preach.

May the Good News fill your hearts with the love of Christ indwelling. Let us speak truth, let us speak by the mouth of head of our body, a message of everlasting hope, when God makes us a divine appointment.

1John 5:10 He who believes in the Son of God has the testimony in himself. He who doesn't believe God has made him a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony that God has given concerning his Son.

1John 5:20 We know that the Son of God has come, and has given us an understanding, that we know him who is true, and we are in him who is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life. 5:21 Little children, keep yourselves from idols.
