Truth What Is It?

Rom.1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness,
1:19 because that which is known of God is revealed in them, for God revealed it to them. 1:20 For the invisible things of him since the creation of the world are clearly seen, being perceived through the things that are made, even his everlasting power and divinity; that they may be without excuse.

Never has a word been so over used, under estimated, abused, and changed in meaning than the word truth in the human race. For human there is an obsession in seeking truth. It drives human to unearth history of past civilization, animal bones, cultures, but why the neurosis for truth?

Rom. 1:21 Because, knowing God, they didn't glorify him as God, neither gave thanks, but became vain in their reasoning, and their senseless heart was darkened. 1:22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 1:23 and traded the glory of the incorruptible God for the likeness of an image of corruptible man, and of birds, and four-footed animals, and creeping things.

Yes, a neurosis an inward fear/sickness of not knowing all there is about every subject on earth that somehow if one little piece of truth is missing a person will default their whole life as of no value. Is this overstated, will, for some, but for others the worst sin is not having exact truth and when coupled with God, and everlasting salvation it become even more troubling where ones have killed others in the name of truth.

Rom. 2:1 Therefore you are without excuse, O man, whoever you are who judge. For in that which you judge another, you condemn yourself. For you who judge practice the same things.

Christian's have been faced with this subject for thousand's of years only to look foolish and end up with egg on their face as truth(s) sifts to adjust to science and society moral changes! So just what is truth?

Exodus 34:6 Yahweh passed by before him, and proclaimed, "Yahweh! Yahweh, a merciful and gracious God, slow to anger, and abundant in loving kindness and truth.

The Spirit is Truth!

Here is a shocking reality for many Christian's; is it their bible that is truth, or the Spirit? We often here Christian's warring with each other, literally, and verbally over truth, that is, what their definition is of biblically truth?

John 16:13 However when he, the Spirit of truth, has come, he will guide you into all truth, for he will not speak from himself; but whatever he hears, he will speak. He will declare to you things that are coming.

But the apostle John living at a time where many false Christian's and writings infiltrating the body of Christ was to tell that body that is was the Spirit that is truth, not letters, or verbal messages, but the Spirit in them that was truth. Now having said that few if any Christian's today would consed to such thinking, in fact, calling it some kind of apostasy from the bible!

1 John 3:11 For this is the message which you heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.

Why did John under the Holy Spirit say that it was the Spirit in God's children that is the truth instead of another apostles writings?

1John 5:6 This is he who came by water and blood, Jesus Christ; not with the water only, but with the water and the blood. It is the Spirit who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth.

Where God's Spirit Resides?

First, let is be said, we as human's are not truth, its that simple, and history convicts all of us as not being truth, but instead liars! Having said this biblical truth, one must give pause as to why we kill over the word "truth", and/or condemn others into eternal torment by our words because of some written truth?

Romans 3:4 May it never be! Yes, let God be found true, but every man a liar. As it is written, "That you might be justified in your words, and might prevail when you come into judgment."{Psalm 51:4}

1 John 1:10 If we say that we haven't sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

Where is God's truth? The Truth is Christ Jesus, he being spirit, and because he is the Truth he is sinless. Yes, for truth to be truth it must be free of sin. Sin and corruption is not truth, Sin is rather a great tree having many shadows of truth(s) as the light from our Sun moves across the sky each day.

John 8:46 Which of you convicts me of sin? If I tell the truth, why do you not believe me?

John 14:6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.

Sin causes variations upon variations of many shadows on top of shadows appearing under the great tree of sin and corruption for our human race. So let us unconfuse the truth when the bible speak of it? Truth is the sinless righteous life of Christ, not so much the written words, but Christ Jesus as a living truth indwelling Christian's where God has placed his Holy Spirit, that is, in Christ the Spirit temple of God. (The bible leads us like road signs to the truth, Christ Jesus.)

John 14:17 the Spirit of truth, whom the world can't receive; for it doesn't see him, neither knows him. You know him, for he lives with you, and will be in you.

James 1:16 Don't be deceived, my beloved brothers. 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow.

This truth is a living truth, not dead on paper expressed in doctrine of some man or religion. Living truth is not stagnant it is rather a live in action by its application of love.

Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is living, and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and is able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart.

This is where many Christian's fail to understand what truth really is, putting all the fear and emphasis into a written word of God interpreted by man. Truth cannot be lost upon earth because it is the Spirit, within Christ, the Spirit of God, which is the truth. That truth is eternal and incorruptible from man's writings, or thinking, it is the very mind of truth God, which is expressed too us human in the imperishable life of Christ Jesus.

Colossians 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly; in all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your heart to the Lord.

1 Peter 1:23 having been born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, through the word of God, which lives and remains forever.
Sinless Truth

God needs not unearth the truth, and he certainly is not in love with the worlds truth because it is permeated with lies from sin. In other words, its corrupted and not the truth. God's truth is sinless because it is eternal and those touching Christ the truth have eternal life.

1 Corinthians 5:7 Purge out the old yeast, that you may be a new lump, even as you are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, has been sacrificed in our place.

Subsequently, so there is no confusion over this subject God's truth has one objective and that is setting mankind free from sin, the lie that corrupted this world into darkness moving us away from the truth of Christ Jesus, which is veiled. For us to understand the difference in God's truth and what mankind believes is truth, we must ask a question, one each of us needs to answer? Where is truth found for everlasting life? Some teach in their bibles, but is that “the truth” of eternal life, or is it rather Christ Jesus eternal life indwelling us as the truth?

1 John 5:6 This is he who came by water and blood, Jesus Christ; not with the water only, but with the water and the blood. It is the Spirit who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth.

There is no sinless life found in doctrine, or reading of your bible, one must receive the Spirit of truth from God by faith. Once a person is indwelt with the truth, Christ, they have the truth, but they are not the truth because of their corrupted vessel of flesh under sin. Christ is the truth, this is why the apostle John could say: “the Spirit is the truth.”

The Sinless Mind of Truth

Where Christian's believe purity of doctrine is everything, and is the most important truth, the truth is, the Christ, and his sinless mind is the only place truth exist for Christian's in today's world. If a Christian's is not found “in the truth”, that is, the Spirit is the truth that indwells them, they are under a sinful mind leading into death.

1 John 2:21 I have not written to you because you don't know the truth, but because you know it, and because no lie is of the truth.

The truth that sets us free, is having our sins blotted out by Christ righteous blood, which completed our judgment of God's laws against us. Thus, we live in a body of fleshly sin, we are not charge with sin according to God's judgment through laws conviction us of sin. We are freed of judgment because of Christ Jesus life, not ours own life, or a groups, or a truth found in our bibles.

James 3:14 But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your heart, don't boast and don't lie against the truth.

Romans 6:14 For sin will not have dominion over you. For you are not under law, but under grace.

Once freed of sin, because of Christ righteousness imputed too us by God, we can commune with the truth, Christ Jesus, by God's Holy Spirit. This is why the truth has to be sinless, we ourselves must be consider sinless by God to be taught this truth by His Holy Spirit.

Romans 5:13 For until the law, sin was in the world; but sin is not charged when there is no law.

Romans 3:20 Because by the works of the law, no flesh will be justified in his sight. For through the law comes the knowledge of sin.

Romans 4:8 Blessed is the man whom the Lord will by no means charge with sin."{Psalm 32:1-2}

The Lie, The Sinful Mind

There are only two minds in our universe, both minds have fruit the mind of truth found in Christ Jesus is sinless fruits of everlasting life upon it. The other mind is the mind of sinful flesh that has fruits of death upon it. The deception is found in how the fleshly mind present truth. The fleshly mind makes written truth salvation, and not the Christ, because it cannot know the truth found in Christ without being put too death by God's Spirit in the sinful flesh.

Matt.7:16 By their fruits you will know them. Do you gather grapes from thorns, or figs from thistles? 7:17 Even so, every good tree produces good fruit; but the corrupt tree produces evil fruit.

Salvation to the fleshly mind is an obsession out of fear, a neurosis of death in not finding a written truth. It obsesses with doctrine and end times prophecy because simply put its saves its self by knowledge of truth, which is the grandest lie of all times.

Acts 4:12 There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

1 Peter 1:5 who by the power of God are guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

Truth to a real Christian's is maintaining the Spirit of Christ in them by faith, that is, by love, walking in love, which implies trusting God and his promises.

1Cor.13:1 If I speak with the languages of men and of angels, but don't have love, I have become sounding brass, or a clanging cymbal.
13:2 If I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but don't have love, I am nothing. 13:3 If I dole out all my goods to feed the poor, and if I give my body to be burned, but don't have love, it profits me nothing.

The fleshly mind distrust their own version of truth by written materials or religious propaganda. They test these writing against other people ideas of truth, and not the Spirit of Christ indwelling them, but by dead doctrines. How do we test these truth? Well, not like the fleshly mind does, by works of law, or by legal definition of doctrine, but rather the infallible tool, which God has not given the world, in which it cannot know, but by the law of love. Does the teaching meet the standard of love towards ones neighbor, or not?

1John 4:5 They are of the world. Therefore they speak of the world, and the world hears them. 4:6 We are of God. He who knows God listens to us. He who is not of God doesn't listen to us. By this we know the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error. 4:7 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God, and knows God. 4:8 He who doesn't love doesn't know God, for God is love. 4:9 By this God's love was revealed in us, that God has sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.

Does the truth judge ones neighbor into too sin and death, or into life, the Christ? Death is found in the fleshly mind, given to mankind by Satan distrust of God. The fleshly mind cannot understand the Spirit of love that God has for us, or mankind, it cannot understand anything that is not legally defined by some so called truth. It greatest fear is not having all the written truth thinking God is nothing but judgment.

Romans 8:8 Those who are in the flesh can't please God.

Romans 8:9 But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if it is so that the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if any man doesn't have the Spirit of Christ, he is not his.

Romans 8:12 So then, brothers, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.

Sin produce sin, the mind of sin produce judgments from sin which sin is death, it cannot produce eternal life, nor understand the life of the law of Christ that frees us from sin, and its judgment, which mind is a legal mind dead to God and Christ.

The Wind Blows Where it Wants

The sinful mind is a legal mind, and it must have concrete truths for it survival upon earth, there is no protection from danger or the misleading of others claiming the truth of God's words, so it gets involved into endless battles over words legalized into truth(s). Each word is analysis, dissect, if you will, by methodology, a science of empirical evidence. Once this is establish by a person fleshly mind it will cling to its truth as life and death fight anyone trying to take the bone out of the mouth of the dog.

Matthew 7:6 "Don't give that which is holy to the dogs, neither throw your pearls before the pigs, lest perhaps they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces.

Philippians 3:2 Beware of the dogs, beware of the evil workers, beware of the false circumcision.

For such dogs of the flesh are not found in God's promises requiring faith, but rather in the worded evidence legally establish by an attorney of faith, which is not the wind, and what does this mean?

2 Timothy 2:14 Remind them of these things, charging them in the sight of the Lord, that they don't argue about words, to no profit, to the subverting of those who hear.

The wind blows where it wants we feel it upon our skin we give it little attention not unless it becomes a danger too us, than we hid from its destructive path. The fleshly mind hides from God's Spirit because it cannot control it by human efforts, that is, by their teachings, their writings, or by fleshly mind things, which are legal documents protecting a person from harm in this world.

1 Corinthians 2:13 Which things also we speak, not in words which man's wisdom teaches, but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual things.

Understanding this simple truth one can understand how the early congregation that Christ started was so quickly corrupted by sinful fleshly mind teachings. The fleshly mind is like a river, it flows to the lowest point by its nature, the lowest point is to take all things spiritual and teach it by laws, building massive institution(s) to protect it by never ending volumes of books of written doctrine.

1 Corinthians 15:50 Now I say this, brothers,{The word for "brothers" here and where context allows may also be correctly translated "brothers and sisters" or "siblings."} that flesh and blood can't inherit the Kingdom of God; neither does corruption inherit incorruption.

2 Corinthians 5:16 Therefore we know no one after the flesh from now on. Even though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now we know him so no more.

The legalization of truth was at work during the apostles times, and grew into a massive field and/or weeds shortly there after their deaths. Hence, we find the bible legalization of each verse and legally what could be put into the the bible by men under legal minded, the same training as all governments must have for protection and growth.

Matthew 13:38 the field is the world; and the good seed, these are the children of the Kingdom; and the darnel weeds are the children of the evil one.

Matthew 13:40 As therefore the darnel weeds are gathered up and burned with fire; so will it be at the end of this age.

Hence, salvation, and the lost of salvation becomes a legal document void of God Holy Spirit. Each person is judged by works of law, how they perform in meeting the legal doctrine as to eternal life. Fear of judgment becomes the single biggest issue for Christian's, subsequently, empowering those using the guilt of legal doctrines over the people as their atoners and judges.

James 4:11 Don't speak against one another, brothers. He who speaks against a brother and judges his brother, speaks against the law and judges the law. But if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law, but a judge.

James 4:12 Only one is the lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy. But who are you to judge another?

Two thousand's years later Christian's seek the truth, but the question from which mind, a mind of fear, or the mind of Christ?

Colossians 2:13 You were dead through your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh. He made you alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses,

Salvation By Faith

Putting faith in the wind is most difficult, when the apostles of Christ were in fear of losing their life because of stormy seas, Christ stood and with a word calmed the seas, who indeed is this man?

Luke 8:24 They came to him, and awoke him, saying, "Master, master, we are dying!" He awoke, and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water, and they ceased, and it was calm.

Who can put faith in the Word of God, who of us can stand in a wicked world tossed about like a stormy sea, where living by Gods love when people are violently destroying each day by other violent people? The question is are we earning salvation, or do we have it? Because if we have it, than we can live in a violent world knowing God will keep his promises. But on the other hand, if we are yet earning it by meeting some written word defined for us by a religion, or some other person we live in fear of judgment, and death!

Ephesians 4:14 that we may no longer be children, tossed back and forth and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in craftiness, after the wiles of error;

James 1:6 But let him ask in faith, without any doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, driven by the wind and tossed.

Moreover, if we have salvation as God's promises us, by faith in his Son Christ Jesus, how important is it we unearth ever truth? How important is it if we read or don't read something called truth. In other words, if we could rest in Christ and believe God's is love, and that we cannot be separated from that love by anything in heaven or earth, why would we fight over words in our bibles?

John 3:15 that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

Why would we demand someone believe as we do, not unless we really don't believe God is good, and we preach from fear which is a lack of faith in convincing others, so we can convince ourselves of God's love?

1 John 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear has punishment. He who fears is not made perfect in love.

Christ warned us not to be mislead, but he was not blowing into a brown paper bag while telling us! Christ did not live in fear of his disciple being mislead, or if they read some book not included in their bible not yet written. No Christ had the truth dwelling in him, His Father Holy Spirit because he was sinless. Truth was not so much about words as it was about works of Holy Spirit being done through Christ as the greatest witnesses every given among men.

Luke 12:32 Don't be afraid, little flock, for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the Kingdom.

Luke 11:11 "Which of you fathers, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, he won't give him a snake instead of a fish, will he?

If the words meet the actions of Christ they were proven truth(s) everlasting truth(s) that cannot perish as his life will not perish for Christian's.

Let us all remember the fleshly mind is already mislead trying to save that which is not reformable by doctrines that feeds the same flesh mind, it is as pointless as going to a dead body and demanding it to work for you.

Romans 8:7 because the mind of the flesh is hostile towards God; for it is not subject to God's law, neither indeed can it be.

We must send people to truth, the Spirit that is found in the mind of truth, a sinless mind of Christ that will teach us all things regarding this life, and that to come. Let us allow students to be translated into this truth by the Spirit in us, let us meet up with God through His standards of truth, judged against the law of eternal life, love.

1 John 4:16 We know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and he who remains in love remains in God, and God remains in him.

1 John 4:17 In this love has been made perfect among us, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment, because as he is, even so are we in this world.

There is no fear in love, either there is, or there is not? Our judgment was settle thousand's of years ago, we must know nothing in us is righteous or can earn eternal life that issues was defeated and won by Christ righteous life. Let us preach Good News, trust in the power of God promises, let us not wring our hands that somehow we can by our foolish fleshly mind restore truth, which was never lost.

Let us take the hard course the narrow road into faith waiting upon the power sealed in each of us by the truth, God's Holy Spirit knowing that nothing good lacks for God's anointed.

Romans 14:22 Do you have faith? Have it to yourself before God. Happy is he who doesn't judge himself in that which he approves.

Luke 12:43 Blessed is that servant whom his lord will find doing so when he comes.

By: Daniel a Slave of Christ Jesus

Thank you dear Daniel..

It is Gods spirit that speaks to ears that have been opened coupled with hearts circumcised in spirit, the written inspired word is but a guide leading to and qualifying spiritual utterances hence adjusting and leading potential begotten partakers into the Christ. But ultimately genuine Christians are led by spirit not by the fallible written word.. Is this the way you understand it Daniel.

The scriptures below denotes a continues flow of spirit to the congregations!

Rev,22:16-17.. ‘I, Jesus, sent my angel to bear witness to YOU people of these things for the congregations. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright morning star.’”
17 And the spirit and the bride <"keep"> on saying: “Come!” And let anyone hearing say: “Come!” And let anyone thirsting come; let anyone that wishes take life’s water free.

Brain,

What can I say, how perfect to hear from you!

I don't think it could be stated any better my dear friend as you so simply and wonderfully did!

Truth is a person of Christ Jesus we are being translated into, not that we are not the body of Christ, but we are being transformed from death into life daily from our fleshly thinking into the love of God. This is the highest level of truth where eternal life is coupled perfectly by faith in God's love. Something no written word can do.

There is only one Law Giver and judge because He is love, He is the source of all love and truth. The ultimate issue of this universe is how to bring mankind out of darkness of sin into the wonderful light, because the flesh cannot be reformed into truth and light once it sins.

It must be killed, born anew into a new mind and heart of truth and love. This is what Christ has done for us, the bible, or an organized religion cannot possibly do when they are dealing with the fleshly mind, all they can do is renew the fleshly mind by laws for the flesh. Truth has to come from truth, without sin, and corruption renewing our new mind, the mind of Christ in us, which we are under, as our head. Moreover, this is why nothing good dwells in our flesh, and only one is Good.

We must allow this process to take place, by the hardest battle we will ever face, faith. When nothing good dwells in us, and we are acutely aware of our sinful nature as irredeemable one can only look to God's love putting faith in his undeserved kindness, and still our hearts condemns us so we must go beyond this, into Christ, our brother who is not condemned by sin, but loved by our Father YHWH, thankfully God looks to his life instead of ours that is the only real hope we have. This faith is beyond the power of the our fleshly mind, and is a gift of Holy Spirit.

This death we experience as God's children sometimes daily, but truth that saves us is God's Holy Spirit renewing us, yes, resurrecting us into the wonderful life of Christ Jesus our unfailing promise from God. Moreover, this is why the Spirit is truth!
