The book of Romans

Chapter 2

This is an on going work in progress. I would hope it bring peace with you and God for those loving the truth. I will post new verses each week, the Lord willing.

Daniel

Rom.2:1 Therefore you are without excuse, O man, whoever you are who judge. For in that which you judge another, you condemn yourself. For you who judge practice the same things.

Can a person judge without condemning themselves, is Paul's words here a lie? This is a very powerful thought, but yet, few if any Christian's takes it very seriously, but why? Well, its simple, they read the rest of this verse thinking if they uses God's word the bible they are authorized by God to judge others, but is this the context of what Paul was even writing about?

James 4:12 Only one is the lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy. But who are you to judge another?

John 8:15 You judge according to the flesh. I judge no one.

In fact, shockingly, some Christian's really believe the highest moral standard of God's word is their judging others harshly. The context of Paul entire letter of the Roman's is one point, which is, the Old Covenant verses the power of the New Covenant. Don't be fooled and get off track, or a person will end up in all kinds of false reasoning and judgments towards others.

Galatians 5:9 A little yeast grows through the whole lump.

What stops a person from practicing sin? If you can answer this simple question the rest of the book of Roman's will be unlocked? First, under the old covenant it was blood setting a person right for being a sinner against what? The law of God. Once again don't be fooled here no one, who is a sinner can keep God's law, they must have innocent blood atoning for their sin rather they live long or short.
Romans 3:10 As it is written, "There is no one righteous; no, not one.

Did that blood of animals still exist for God's people at Paul's writing here, no! The blood of animals was set aside upon Christ death and resurrection it was no longer enforced or accepted by YHWH. Stop and think! If a person stayed under the old law, or covenant without blood, they could not stop sinning because they had no atonement for sin by blood of animals any more. Hence, they were factually a “practicer of sin”!

Now read Paul's words again about judging and practicing sin according to this context and you will understand what judging he was speak too.

Romans 2:13 For it isn't the hearers of the law who are righteous before God, but the doers of the law will be justified.

The problem for Christian's is they have an amalgamation of two laws although adamantly deny using both the old and new covenant to judge others by. Here than is another key to God's word, yeast of old covenant effecting the teachings of the new covenant. In other words, a person could not have a little of both forgiveness of sin under Christ blood, and judgment of the old law under the blood of animals.

The two cannot mix, but it very deceiving for most Christian's, but why? Paul in the letters to Romans is going to explain why thoroughly, why the judgment of law is dead in our flesh, and the judgment of our spirit is found in the law of love. The early Jewish Christian's had a very difficult time with this thought, being set upon thousand's of years of judgment by law. Christian's today have a difficult time with two-thousands years since Christ and false religion permeating the whole lump with yeast of the old covenant into the new covenant making the kingdom of God on earth a yeast kingdom.

James. 2:7 Don't they blaspheme the honorable name by which you are called? 2:8 However, if you fulfill the royal law, according to the Scripture, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself,"{Leviticus 19:18} you do well. 2:9 But if you show partiality, you commit sin, being convicted by the law as transgressors. 2:10 For whoever keeps the whole law, and yet stumbles in one point, he has become guilty of all. 2:11 For he who said, "Do not commit adultery,"{Exodus 20:14; Deuteronomy 5:18} also said, "Do not commit murder."{Exodus 10:13; Deuteronomy 5:17} Now if you do not commit adultery, but murder, you have become a transgressor of the law. 2:12 So speak, and so do, as men who are to be judged by a law of freedom.

Rom.2:2 We know that the judgment of God is according to truth against those who practice such things. 2:3 Do you think this, O man who judges those who practice such things, and do the same, that you will escape the judgment of God?

Here is the question? If the law was fulfilled set aside for Christ righteous blood, and God rejects animal blood, which validated the old covenant where does one sins go if they continue in the law? If sin is not atone for it makes us a practicer of sin! The only way a person could practice the law was to have their sins against the law atone for by animal blood, which God was no longer accepting under the new covenant instituted by Christ blood.

1 John 3:4 Everyone who sins also commits lawlessness. Sin is lawlessness.

Hebrews 10:29 How much worse punishment, do you think, will he be judged worthy of, who has trodden under foot the Son of God, and has counted the blood of the covenant with which he was sanctified an unholy thing, and has insulted the Spirit of grace?

Some will content making the same flawed argument as brothers and sister were making at Paul writing here that we can uses the old law under the headship of the new covenant, but this is very dangerous thinking, do you know why? We were released by God through the death of the law, because our flesh is dead in Christ invalidating its judgment by laws created to condemn the sinful flesh. Our being put to death in Christ we are freed from the headship of the law and made another, Christ Jesus.

Rom. 7:1 Or don't you know, brothers{The word for "brothers" here and where context allows may also be correctly translated "brothers and sisters" or "siblings."} (for I speak to men who know the law), that the law has dominion over a man for as long as he lives?
7:2 For the woman that has a husband is bound by law to the husband while he lives, but if the husband dies, she is discharged from the law of the husband. 7:3 So then if, while the husband lives, she is joined to another man, she would be called an adulteress. But if the husband dies, she is free from the law, so that she is no adulteress, though she is joined to another man.
7:4 Therefore, my brothers, you also were made dead to the law through the body of Christ, that you would be joined to another, to him who was raised from the dead, that we might bring forth fruit to God. 7:5 For when we were in the flesh, the sinful passions which were through the law, worked in our members to bring forth fruit to death.

Christ, subsequently, become are new legally authorized head, we cannot have two heads without cheating on the other like an adulter. We cannot show affection for the both without taking from our God's ordained headship in Christ Jesus.

1 Corinthians 10:16 The cup of blessing which we bless, isn't it a sharing of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, isn't it a sharing of the body of Christ?

1 Corinthians 6:19 Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own.

1 Peter 2:24 who his own self bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness; by whose stripes you were healed.

Paul is speaking bold, if in Christ we have no judgment, why would you go back to judgment incurring God's wrath? Yes, wrath, the law caused wrath for sinners, they could not be declared righteous by it, but judged as unworthy of life as a sinner. They must atone blood for peace with God. Now what were these legalistic Jewish converts going to do if they preach law, and judge by the law having no atonement for sin left, but incur wrath of God's coming judgment upon practicers of sin?

Romans 4:15 For the law works wrath, for where there is no law, neither is there disobedience.

Romans 6:11 Thus consider yourselves also to be dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Many Christian's think they are not a practicer of sin because they keep a rule or law one from their bibles or religion, but don't be fooled we are no longer a practicer of sin because our sinful flesh is accounted as dead in Christ, it has paid the price of sinning - death. Returning to something mundane and inferior to claim super righteousness by, is a lie, and a fools game! Please understand we cannot put faith in stones of the law, we must put our faith in the unseen, the unseen is living and is truth, and Spirit, it is our worship in Spirit and truth by faith that saves us from judgment.

Romans 6:4 We were buried therefore with him through baptism to death, that just like Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life.

Rom.8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don't walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.{NU omits "who don't walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit"} 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death.
8:3 For what the law couldn't do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God did, sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh; 8:4 that the ordinance of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Romans 9:32 Why? Because they didn't seek it by faith, but as it were by works of the law. They stumbled over the stumbling stone;

Romans 10:4 For Christ is the fulfillment{or, completion, or end} of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.

Rom.2:4 Or do you despise the riches of his goodness, forbearance, and patience, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance? 2:5 But according to your hardness and unrepentant heart you are treasuring up for yourself wrath in the day of wrath, revelation, and of the righteous judgment of God. 2:6 who "will pay back to everyone according to their works:"{Psalm 62:12; Proverbs 24:12}

Let us not fall into what is so common among false religion, that is, into an application just the opposite of what the apostle Paul speaks to here, and what is that? The Christ, God's goodness and forbearance towards us, Jews, Greeks, all whom come to our Father YHWH, not through the law, but Christ.

Rom.2:10 But glory, honor, and peace go to every man who works good, to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
2:11 For there is no partiality with God.

This is Paul's context here, but wait! Don't think your special when Paul's referring to keeping the law, or sin laws, not even your religion laws, he is not! The context of the letter of Roman's is Law Vs. Christ and how do we stop practicing sin? God has wrath against sin, it is the last enemy defeated by Christ Jesus Kingdom, sin enter into our world and death through sin. This world is permeated with the thinking of sin, yeast thinking corrupting the whole masses of mankind's education, because they cannot stop practicing that for which they were born into without dying in their flesh. How does one stop thinking sin, when the very brain we have in born into sin? How can we plant with flesh in view, and yet not reap a harvest of death from our own thinking?

Rom.8:6 For the mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace; 8:7 because the mind of the flesh is hostile towards God; for it is not subject to God's law, neither indeed can it be. 8:8 Those who are in the flesh can't please God.

Galatians 6:8 For he who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption. But he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.

You see here is the real problem humans must face, not thinking they can avail themselves out of sin by more laws that only condemn sin, how can that be? No one goes to a dead body and expect it to breathe life into a person. How can we cultivate death, and think we are getting life back? How can we think life comes from our self-righteousness, by something that is dead to God?

James 2:26 For as the body apart from the spirit is dead, even so faith apart from works is dead.

We are truly in an unobtainable circumstance, whom will save us out of this body under going death when nothing good dwells in but evil of sin causing God's wrath upon us? Don't let the fleshly mind deceive you as it had some of these brothers and sisters here, don't twist truth into a lie, God is not partial, he judges us according to the way we think from our fleshly mind, and or He has no judgment in the mind of Christ, but not both. If we die under law and that's how we judged, we will be judged the same, if we die without law, and that how we judge, so be it. But if we are in Christ Jesus freed of our judgment and we don't judge so will be our reward.

1Cor.3:10 According to the grace of God which was given to me, as a wise master builder I laid a foundation, and another builds on it. But let each man be careful how he builds on it. 3:11 For no one can lay any other foundation than that which has been laid, which is Jesus Christ. 3:12 But if anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay, or stubble; 3:13 each man's work will be revealed. For the Day will declare it, because it is revealed in fire; and the fire itself will test what sort of work each man's work is. 3:14 If any man's work remains which he built on it, he will receive a reward. 3:15 If any man's work is burned, he will suffer loss, but he himself will be saved, but as through fire.
3:16 Don't you know that you are a temple of God, and that God's Spirit lives in you? 3:17 If anyone destroys the temple of God, God will destroy him; for God's temple is holy, which you are.
3:18 Let no one deceive himself. If anyone thinks that he is wise among you in this world, let him become a fool, that he may become wise.

Unrepentance comes when we think we are superior like a judge, we authorize ourselves as worth more than others, and we sit as their judge, because we judge righteous thoughts from the bible/law our mind deceives us into thinking we are above others, and/or law, exempting us from the impartiality of the God's righteous judgment. Don't be fooled only one on earth was exempted from the laws perfect judgment, Christ Jesus, no other life with God can give mankind freedom from their sins, no matter how noble, and righteous the world holds such a person to be, they are not sinless, we all come from sin.

James 4:11 Don't speak against one another, brothers. He who speaks against a brother and judges his brother, speaks against the law and judges the law. But if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law, but a judge. 12 Only one is the lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy. But who are you to judge another?

Every person born of sin practice sin, and those born of God cannot practice sin because they have been imputed Christ righteousness, here is the summation of the whole book of Romans let us seek life by truth and Spirit just as it has been recorded for us, by God's own love.

1 John 3:4 Everyone who sins also commits lawlessness. Sin is lawlessness.

1 John 3:5 You know that he was revealed to take away our sins, and in him is no sin.

1 John 3:6 Whoever remains in him doesn't sin. Whoever sins hasn't seen him, neither knows him.

Jude 1:20 But you, beloved, keep building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit. 1:21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to eternal life.

Rom.2:7 to those who by patience in well-doing seek for glory, honor, and incorruptibility, eternal life; 2:8 but to those who are self-seeking, and don't obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, will be wrath and indignation, 2:9 oppression and anguish, on every soul of man who works evil, to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. 2:10 But glory, honor, and peace go to every man who works good, to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. 2:11 For there is no partiality with God.

Some people think God's impartiality mean equality in all things, particularly in position, but that is false. Impartiality does not means all must rule as kings and priest with Christ, such is an erroneous view of God's impartiality where He applies the same rule of law to all equally. Partiality has nothing to do with position or power, but application of God love too all. Moreover, those applying Paul's words here to good works, as works of obeying the law of Moses are also sadly mistaken.

Galatians 3:11 Now that no man is justified by the law before God is evident, for, "The righteous will live by faith."{Habakkuk 2:4}

The glory, honor, and incorruptibility, eternal life, by good works are not ours, they are factually Christ Jesus works in us, which is given as gifts of being made part of Christ life by those gifts, so we can share in his glory, which is God's glory, Christ perfects, and returns to his Father YHWH. Many get good works confused with their good works by good motives in serving Christ. But our good motive is not Christ good works, the works of a fruit tree is its own, the fruit are the product of the good tree life, the fruit does not bear the tree. If a Christian's does not stay in the tree of life, Christ Jesus they cannot produce the fruit of the trees life, which are the incorruptible fruits of Christ Jesus righteous life.

Luke 12:34 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

2 Corinthians 4:7 But we have this treasure in clay vessels, that the exceeding greatness of the power may be of God, and not from ourselves.

John 15:4 Remain in me, and I in you. As the branch can't bear fruit by itself, unless it remains in the vine, so neither can you, unless you remain in me.

Moreover, if we don't walk by faith in God's salvation, but instead seek our own righteousness through judgment of the law of sin towards others, we have not been patient in Christ good works, but impatiently seek our own to justify ourselves before men, such will come our own judgment, without partiality. We are either in eternal life, Christ Jesus, or we are under the power of the fleshly mind thinking in death which are its fruit of sin, by laws judgment, making one a god seeking what is good and evil for ourselves. Thus, God allows each one of us to reap the fruit of our planting or reap the fruit of Christ planting working in us.

Matt.7:17 Even so, every good tree produces good fruit; but the corrupt tree produces evil fruit. 7:18 A good tree can't produce evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree produce good fruit.

There is no peace for those under sin and its laws, but wrath of God remains upon such a one, they are outside the Garden of Eden suffering in their own works, not resting in God provided works, which are in Christ Jesus, coming from the life of the one sinless tree of life. The flesh mind judgment was completed at Adam's fall into sin, it has been impartially judged and enforced every since, by the fruit of its labors death. However, those in Christ have had those plagues removed, because they are found in the paradise garden of God in the life of Christ eating from the fruits of his labors while resting from their own works by faith.

Heb.4:3 For we who have believed do enter into that rest, even as he has said, "As I swore in my wrath, they will not enter into my rest;"{Psalm 95:11} although the works were finished from the foundation of the world. 4:4 For he has said this somewhere about the seventh day, "God rested on the seventh day from all his works;"{Genesis 2:2} 4:5 and in this place again, "They will not enter into my rest."{Psalm 95:11} 4:6 Seeing therefore it remains that some should enter therein, and they to whom the good news was before preached failed to enter in because of disobedience,
4:7 he again defines a certain day, today, saying through David so long a time afterward (just as has been said), "Today if you will hear his voice, don't harden your hearts."{Psalm 95:7-8} 4:8 For if Joshua had given them rest, he would not have spoken afterward of another day. 4:9 There remains therefore a Sabbath rest for the people of God. 4:10 For he who has entered into his rest has himself also rested from his works, as God did from his.

Rom.2:12 For as many as have sinned without law will also perish without the law. As many as have sinned under the law will be judged by the law.

The apostles Paul's words are perhaps the most hated writings in the bible, and of course the most misunderstood and misapplied, but why? Because the general masses of mankind do not understand law and the science of law. In Paul's effort to show how God has by legal mean's removed our deserved judgment those with a fleshly mind swing wide into self-condemnation, and/or self-glorification, causing the deep spiritual problems with reading Paul's words. Sadly, not understanding grace, or undeserved kindness, and why they need it, they assume by personal feelings and motives that Paul was just being an extremely negative person, thinking all humans are of no value too God, which is the biggest lie of all.

Psalms 36:7 How precious is your loving kindness, God! The children of men take refuge under the shadow of your wings.

Psalms 116:15 Precious in the sight of Yahweh is the death of his saints.

The Law was created by a good God having no evil and it was created to redeem mankind back to God's love, so any misunderstanding is the emotional fleshly mind approach to Paul's writings, which so easily and forthrightly imputes evil from one own heart to human and God. But laws does not deal with human emotions in fairness, the law does what all law do, blesses or condemn one for unrighteous acts, without emotions or personal fairness. When human emotions are injected it nullify the judgment of law making it lawlessness.

Luke 20:21 They asked him, "Teacher, we know that you say and teach what is right, and aren't partial to anyone, but truly teach the way of God.

James 2:9 But if you show partiality, you commit sin, being convicted by the law as transgressors. 2:10 For whoever keeps the whole law, and yet stumbles in one point, he has become guilty of all.

Paul stated a fact of law, a material fact of law which cannot be removed, or nullified by human fairness. He states we are sinners, all of us, sin is evil to God, according to his law, not man law, or emotions. Sin must be paid for by a priceless innocent life force, in giving up their life so we can be bought back from our sins payment under the law. The fleshly minded rejects this legal standard that applies to all human born under sin, by using their good motives, and love for God, while at the same time acknowledging we are all sinner, but not understanding what they are actually saying according to God's righteous laws?

Romans 2:13 For it isn't the hearers of the law who are righteous before God, but the doers of the law will be justified

Romans 3:10 As it is written, "There is no one righteous; no, not one.

Our being told we our human does not offend us, but being told we are a sinner without blood, implies our motives are not always pure, and for those thinking with emotions they imply evil to God, and Paul because they feel condemned in their good feelings.

James 1:13 Let no man say when he is tempted, "I am tempted by God," for God can't be tempted by evil, and he himself tempts no one.
1:14 But each one is tempted, when he is drawn away by his own lust, and enticed. 1:15 Then the lust, when it has conceived, bears sin; and the sin, when it is full grown, brings forth death.
1:16 Don't be deceived, my beloved brothers. 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow.

However, they will not avail themselves out of self-condemnation until they put their personal needs out of he way of truth we all must face the small and great to gain life. God passed judgment on sin in the Garden of Eden, none since that judgment have been given eternal life without God law being meant, not one born of sin! Sin is the condition of all mankind, and the judgment for sin is death. Is death emotional, yes, it is very much so, but the remedy lies in God's law, for atonement of sin. With God impartial law of love, the new covenant none of us can be considered sinless, no matter how much that offends your personal sensibility, God will not act impartially to uphold your emotional definition of fairness.

Job 34:12 Yes surely, God will not do wickedly, neither will the Almighty pervert justice.

Acts 2:21 It will be, that whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.'{Joel 2:28-32}

Paul is telling these brothers and sister whom are implying specialty by their emotion of Jews and Gentile that no matter how good you think you are your dying. Yes, you have been judged as a sinner either way under law or without law, how do you know this, because you are dying! So one must ask themselves one question, how are you going to get out of death from sin? By your good feelings, by your good motives? Sorry God did not created a law to condone sin because you want to serve God or because you love him. He created a law that proves us sinners away out of death that is deserving by his Judgment our King. Now each of us have to ask why God did this judgment if our motives are so pure? What does God know about human nature that we refuse to see, is it an ugliness we can't accept requiring a God of love to deal with our sins and the destructive nature in human despite their best motives? Moreover, do we want to be a god and chose for ourselves what is good and bad, good and evil, righteous and unrighteous?

Romans 5:9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we will be saved from God's wrath through him.

Romans 5:10 For if, while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we will be saved by his life.

Paul speak truth of how God deals with sin, how God sees the human race, and what none of want to admit until we sin and hurt others, that nothing in our sinful flesh is good. But we are not just flesh, we are also spirit so we have the deepest desire to love God and others, and it is this spirit God deals with in letter of Roman's. God separates the two, he hates the sin, but not the spirit of the person wanting His association. But first each person must see themselves in truth, painful truth of sin, they must humble themselves being cut to the heart for actions of sin they cannot stop on their best day.

1 Corinthians 1:18 For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are dying, but to us who are saved it is the power of God.

1 Corinthians 5:5 are to deliver such a one to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.

Than they must come to understand salvation is not just a word in their bible, they must know they cannot save themselves by human emotions, or the desire to be good, they must come to God and let him give them salvation as their King, as a gift of His love towards them. Without this gift, there is no hope in self, there is no life, but all of this is explained in God's righteous law, if a person understand the point of the law, and it designed purpose to bring us to the point of understanding our condition in truth. Sadly, most of the Jews did not come to this point, they took that exact opposite approach believing and deceiving themselves by measuring themselves against their own righteousness instead of God's righteousness found in Christ Jesus.

Ephesians 2:8 for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God.

If you find offense in Paul's word, than you are rebelling in your own sinful flesh, that rejects truth, and that my friend was Paul's point to those self-righteous Jews whom thought their hearts pure because of personal desire to keep the laws of God, what they found out was when Paul spoke it caused them fleshly hate, proving the flesh wars against the Spirit and its legal definition of flesh being dead in Christ, the Jew's hid behind a noble good motive condemning Paul words as negative and evil to save themselves by their pure motives refusing God's own judgment of sin under the law. Not one person in Israel small or great stood outside the law declare their motives pure, if they refused going to God's altar thinking they could stand before God right without blood. None should be offend by truth, even if it does not flatter their ego, because precious righteous blood died for our sins.

2 Thessalonians 2:10 and with all deception of wickedness for those who are being lost, because they didn't receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

2 Timothy 1:9 who saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given to us in Christ Jesus before times eternal,

Titus 3:5 not by works of righteousness, which we did ourselves, but according to his mercy, he saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit.

Continued:

Rom.2:13 For it isn't the hearers of the law who are righteous before God, but the doers of the law will be justified.

Does God read our hearts searching them to see who loves him and who don't? Well if he did not, than are we not the most pitiful people on earth? But because God searches our hearts does not mean a person could keep the law, is that a put down to you? Many thinking because they hear the law, and love the law understanding is condemnation of wickedness that is enough, that is, their good motives will carry the day, but they are sadly mistaken in such a faulty judgment. Unwittingly, they have just undone the sacrifice of the Son of God to free us from the judgment of the law by his blood, not our sacrifice, or an animals blood.

Galatians 4:5 that he might redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of children.

Psalms 49:7 none of them can by any means redeem his brother, nor give God a ransom for him.

Yes, many Christian's read Paul's words above and think I am keeping the law, but they aren't, nor could they keep the law. The blood of Christ was not for the Old Law Covenant, it was for the New Law Covenant the two do not mixes into one. The point of the laws was to prove mankind could not be perfect enough having sin to avail themselves into eternal life by God's righteous standards expressed into the law. So to be justified by the law was impossible as a sinner. In other words, the law could not say to you or me: “you have been proven perfect by the laws moral standards, hence, God will reward you with eternal life because the law justifies your every word and action as sinless?”

1 John 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

1Pet.2:21 For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving you{TR reads "us" instead of "you"} an example, that you should follow his steps, 2:22 who did not sin, "neither was deceit found in his mouth."{Isaiah 53:9} 2:23 Who, when he was cursed, didn't curse back. When he suffered, didn't threaten, but committed himself to him who judges righteously; 2:24 who his own self bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness; by whose stripes you were healed.
2:25 For you were going astray like sheep; but now have returned to the Shepherd and Overseer{"Overseer" is from the Greek episkopon, which can mean overseer, curator, guardian, or superintendent.} of your souls.

The blood on the altar of God mercy seat bears witnesses against our justification of being sinless, it said” “you are a sinner needing precious life to pay for your sins!” It did not say; “your motives are so pure and righteous you don't need blood for forgiveness of your sins!”

Proverbs 30:12 There is a generation that is pure in their own eyes, yet are not washed from their filthiness.

1 Peter 3:21 This is a symbol of baptism, which now saves you--not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

The law shut every person mouth born into sin, it stated no one person is righteous enough to complete the law. So here is what we have, if your not in the race because your are disqualified before you ever start the race than running a few good miles on a good day does not nullify your being disqualified. This is Paul's point here, he is saying you can hear, but hearing won't cut it, you must run the race keep all the law to be declared righteous by it and be rewarded the crown of everlasting life by your own merit. If not, than you must accept the merit that is found in the blood of an innocent victim and you must humbly accept that blood or stand condemned by God righteous law.

Levitius 17:11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood; and I have given it to you on the altar to make atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that makes atonement by reason of the life.

If you are given to self-righteousness, or self-rightness by your so called good motives, well, its not enough, or Christ died for nothing and millions of innocent animal that were slaughter on God's altar were in vain, if all that were needed was your personal glory and merit. Paul is inciting ones to anger and jealousy by speaking this truth, just as it does today when people honestly believe because of some good nature they have within them is enough merit to give the eternal life in Christ. The Jews had gotten it backwards, they forgot of the pass-over lamb, they had forgotten their sins, because of their good zeal towards the law and they made the gravest mistake any human could make on earth they condemned righteous blood for their wonderful motives, how very sad, when human step out of God's plan for salvation.

Matthew 23:35 that on you may come all the righteous blood shed on the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zachariah son of Barachiah, whom you killed between the sanctuary and the altar.

Now the Jews and Gentiles alike were hearing that not one person could save himself by law, not one Gentile was superior because God opened the Kingdom too them, it was God whom is righteous and good giving each of us unmerited kindness by the blood of His Son Christ Jesus. None of us stand in our own merit that is the lie Satan told in Eden to Eve, we are not gods, we are depend upon the God YHWH for eternal life, being redeem, purchases by the blood of Christ Jesus.

Revelation 14:4 These are those who were not defiled with women, for they are virgins. These are those who follow the Lamb wherever he goes. These were redeemed by Jesus from among men, the first fruits to God and to the Lamb.

Galatians 3:13 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, "Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree,"{Deuteronomy 21:23}

1 Peter 1:18 knowing that you were redeemed, not with corruptible things, with silver or gold, from the useless way of life handed down from your fathers.

Rom.2:14 (for when Gentiles who don't have the law do by nature the things of the law, these, not having the law, are a law to themselves, 2:15 in that they show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience testifying with them, and their thoughts among themselves accusing or else excusing them)

Many Christian's try to make some profound legal definition of Paul's words here, but its not that complicated. If a person is born upon earth somewhere in the remotest tribe on earth having no contact with the outside world they would still be a law onto themselves. Many Christian's believe that biblical law judges us so all have to be preached to before God's judgment can comes? However, such an extreme is not what Paul is alluding to here.

Rom.1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, 1:19 because that which is known of God is revealed in them, for God revealed it to them. 1:20 For the invisible things of him since the creation of the world are clearly seen, being perceived through the things that are made, even his everlasting power and divinity; that they may be without excuse.

Paul is teaching what nature teaches us, all humans, and animals that there is an order of laws governing their life, each species of plants, or otherwise have a rule of law that governs its existence. Human on the other hand, not only laws of their bodies, but moral laws that often overlap each other. So what is Paul establishing here? That there are laws governing all mankind, which includest the law of Moses that small Israel was under, but even the nations law prove all human are born under sin by their laws. So all are found under sin, even by its by human laws, why? Well, this will offend some Christian's whom believe one must legislate God's laws found in God's word the bible so that all to be accountable. But such thinking makes them God's personal prophet authorizing them too preach, and teach judgments by God's laws.

Rom. 2:1 Therefore you are without excuse, O man, whoever you are who judge. For in that which you judge another, you condemn yourself. For you who judge practice the same things.

Paul is instead establishing that despite the law of Moses, all people are judged sinner because they are all dying. Creation from its beginning teaches us this truth. Which is God's court of law was held in the Garden of Eden by YHWH, where He handed down the death sentence upon all sinners. Thus, the proof of this court case is done and completed we can all testify simply by going to the grave yard, and there seeing family members, friends, and past generation have all paid the fine for sin, no matter what their education or personal beliefs were!

Romans 5:12 Therefore, as sin entered into the world through one man, and death through sin; and so death passed to all men, because all sinned.

Each person ever born, rather they understood God's law or not, all died from sin, and knew they would no matter what they called it by. Moreover, each person born also has eternity in their heart knowing by God's law man was created to live more than a few short years in pain and troubles upon earth. This truth, has been proven beyond a shadow of doubt as a material fact of law; sin enter into the world and death spread to all mankind.

Romans 5:17 For if by the trespass of the one, death reigned through the one; so much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one, Jesus Christ.

So Paul is telling the truth in Christ don't think your special because of your preaching the Law of Moses, your not going to save anyone from that judgment, which was decided long before you were born on earth. That law did not perfect a person or remove their sins now or than, did it? If it had, we wouldn't be speaking about the Christ, and this great fleshly issue would not had been need to be written about in most of the Greek scriptures, which is Christ law Vs. sins laws/law. Don't be fooled, or offended because God came up with something better than the law, for mankind, or we would still be enforcing death by rule of law as king over us without hope. Life did not come through the law, or by a pangs nation laws, it came through Christ Jesus righteous blood, and this is the entire message, God has for mankind, not human righteousness, by self-merit and/or works of law.

Romans 5:21 that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

1 Corinthians 1:31 that, according as it is written, "He who boasts, let him boast in the Lord."{Jeremiah 9:24}

1 Corinthians 3:21 Therefore let no one boast in men. For all things are yours,

1 Corinthians 4:7 For who makes you different? And what do you have that you didn't receive? But if you did receive it, why do you boast as if you had not received it?

So this is a great mystery for some, and many Christian's as will, those whom think their special feelings changes the way things are created, but they fail to look at the grave yard, what does this mean? What it means is God did not create sin, but man did, we are not saying men/woman want to stay in sin, but it is a fact of life each of will deal with until we pay the price for our sin in death. Now how does the fleshly mind deceive itself and repeat itself throughout its the history of mankind? It sets up laws, why laws? For protection, protection from what? The sins of others. Those protective laws were created in a society of people under sin for sin whom are dying from sin, which means under death, and not life. The fleshly mind thinks these laws are laws of life, but they are death laws. Just as the law of the nations are death laws so too were the Israel of Israel which gave only limited life, not eternal life, and so goes the way of all nations upon earth, through their laws for sin.

Romans 3:28 We maintain therefore that a man is justified by faith apart from the works of the law.

Romans 4:15 For the law works wrath, for where there is no law, neither is there disobedience.

Hebrews 10:1 For the law, having a shadow of the good to come, not the very image of the things, can never with the same sacrifices year by year, which they offer continually, make perfect those who draw near.

Hebrews 7:19 (for the law made nothing perfect), and a bringing in of a better hope, through which we draw near to God.

Here we find the great mystery and deception for our fleshly mind Paul was unrevealing, which laws should be dead in Christ. Sadly as in Pauls times and our they preach, and promoted these laws of death into laws of eternal life found in Christ Jesus, but it cannot be done by human righteousness, Its that simple, but the nature of our sinful flesh cannot separate the two laws, nor do we see why its so important that we do so? So we try by mixing two laws into one, which is yeast of sin, into righteousness laws of Christ freed of sin, using yeast in trying to obtain eternal life, by human merit the very thing the law soundly defeated.

Galatians 5:18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.

Galatians 5:4 You are alienated from Christ, you who desire to be justified by the law. You have fallen away from grace.

1 John 3:9 Whoever is born of God doesn't commit sin, because his seed remains in him; and he can't sin, because he is born of God.

1Tim.1:9 as knowing this, that law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and insubordinate, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, 1:10 for the sexually immoral, for homosexuals, for slave-traders, for liars, for perjurers, and for any other thing contrary to the sound doctrine;

Truth is, we must be born anew from corruption into a new body of incorruptible life, which is the last Adam, Christ Jesus. This is what Paul was preachings. Those that believe the good of human righteousness will save them and others by worldly wisdom by mixing human righteous and laws of death into them laws of Christ. Moreover, they will find the apostles Paul's words to be totally offensive and negative. On the others hand, those truly seeking the Kingdom, and its righteous, not their own. These long for true righteousness, they will love Paul's message because it does not depend upon them to perfect in their sinful flesh to be good enough. It does legally depend upon God to give us life by His impartial unmerited kindness based upon Jesus Christ earned merit. Thanks be to our Lord Jesus Christ.

Rom. 11:5 Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace. 11:6 And if by grace, then it is no longer of works; otherwise grace is no longer grace. But if it is of works, it is no longer grace; otherwise work is no longer work.

Rom.11:16 If the first fruit is holy, so is the lump. If the root is holy, so are the branches. 11:17 But if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive, were grafted in among them, and became partaker with them of the root and of the richness of the olive tree; 11:18 don't boast over the branches. But if you boast, it is not you who support the root, but the root supports you. 11:19 You will say then, "Branches were broken off, that I might be grafted in."

Rom. 2:16 in the day when God will judge the secrets of men, according to my Good News, by Jesus Christ.

The apostle Paul continues his argument of Christ law Vs. the Law of Moses. The law did not judge the secrets of men, it judged the obvious physical sins against God's righteous law. In other words, one could go to the temple have their sin forgiven never admitting they've lusted for money or another man's wife, such were secret sins of the the heart the law did not deal with.

Matt.5:21 "You have heard that it was said to the ancient ones, 'You shall not murder;'{Exodus 20:13} and 'Whoever shall murder shall be in danger of the judgment.' 5:22 But I tell you, that everyone who is angry with his brother without a cause{NU omits "without a cause".} shall be in danger of the judgment; and whoever shall say to his brother, 'Raca{"Raca" is an Aramaic insult, related to the word for "empty" and conveying the idea of empty-headedness.}!' shall be in danger of the council; and whoever shall say, 'You fool!' shall be in danger of the fire of Gehenna.{or, Hell}

However, the law of Christ was written into each child of God's heart the very spirit of Christ was a two-edge sword dividing spirit and flesh exposing our own motives. Christ was the greater law because not only did he perfect our faith, but he removed our sins, something the law of Moses simply could not do.

Heb.4:12 For the word of God is living, and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and is able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart. 4:13 There is no creature that is hidden from his sight, but all things are naked and laid open before the eyes of him with whom we have to do.

Moreover, the law of Christ in a positive law imputing to us good and not evil, and what does this mean? The law made a loud and bold statement we are sinners, hence, evil to God, but the law of Christ makes the profound statement, God loves us, he sees us as perfect in His love, God imputes too us love, believing all things and hoping all things, defeating the negative law created for the wicked. Here Paul is writing to brothers and sisters in Christ speaking truth, the law perfected nothing in us regarding sin. What it did is expose, convict and punish us for sin. Hence, sin remained, but we were atone for by God's mercy in animal blood year to year. One could not keep the law on self-merit, they must humble themselves by God's legal merit for righteousness in inferior animal blood upon the altar.

Romans 3:10 As it is written, "There is no one righteous; no, not one.

Hebrews 10:1 For the law, having a shadow of the good to come, not the very image of the things, can never with the same sacrifices year by year, which they offer continually, make perfect those who draw near.

1 John 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear has punishment. He who fears is not made perfect in love.

But under Christ laws, we are not convicted of sin, we are freed from sin and its judgment, we are no longer slaves to sin, but given a sinless righteous standing by Christ Jesus perfect life, imputing us his righteousness by his merit. Now why the law of love? It is undeserved kindness for those loving God, it is freedom and adoption as son's of God, it is the truth of God and His love for mankind, nothing on earth or in heaven is greater, holding more value or moral integrity than God's love.

Rom.8:37 No, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 8:38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, 8:39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

The Good News is the Christ not the old law, it is the best news ever it restores us to Adam's position in association with a loving heavenly Father by unfathomable love of the profound and everlasting new covenant.

1 Corinthians 10:16 The cup of blessing which we bless, isn't it a sharing of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, isn't it a sharing of the body of Christ?

Acts 3:26 God, having raised up his servant, Jesus, sent him to you first, to bless you, in turning away everyone of you from your wickedness."

Rom.2:17 Indeed you bear the name of a Jew, and rest on the law, and glory in God, 2:18 and know his will, and approve the things that are excellent, being instructed out of the law, 2:19 and are confident that you yourself are a guide of the blind, a light to those who are in darkness, 2:20 a corrector of the foolish, a teacher of babies, having in the law the form of knowledge and of the truth. 2:21 You therefore who teach another, don't you teach yourself? You who preach that a man shouldn't steal, do you steal? 2:22 You who say a man shouldn't commit adultery. Do you commit adultery? You who abhor idols, do you rob temples? 2:23 You who glory in the law, through your disobedience of the law do you dishonor God? 2:24 For "the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles because of you,"{Isaiah 52:5; Ezekiel 36:22} just as it is written.

Here is the problem with the law created for the wicked, which was the law of Moses given him by God. When one becomes a judge of law they think they are above the law. But not God's law which is applied without impartiality, meaning, its applied the same to the small and the great without favoritism.

1Tim.1:7 desiring to be teachers of the law, though they understand neither what they say, nor about what they strongly affirm. 1:8 But we know that the law is good, if a man uses it lawfully, 1:9 as knowing this, that law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and insubordinate, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, 1:10 for the sexually immoral, for homosexuals, for slave-traders, for liars, for perjurers, and for any other thing contrary to the sound doctrine.

Here Paul makes the case, if you are a Jew and judging by the righteous law of God can you keep it? In other words, if you can't keep the law how can you be a judge of it? If a judge is found to be a law breaker in lesser courts of man he is removed from the position of judge. If you break the law and uphold the law than you are not impartial at least to yourself, correct? If your a judge of law are you saying your without sin, if your without sin than you can be a righteous judge of the law, but if you a sinner than you must be atoned for by God's mercy found in the blood of a victims for being a law breaker!

James 2:7 Don't they blaspheme the honorable name by which you are called?

Now this is why the law was inferior, who could keep it perfectly without sin? Subsequently, the law was good and righteous, but all humans are sinner so application of the law would be corrupted by the enforcement of it by sinners. The entire course of Israel became corrupted time and again, simply, because she could not be an impartial judge of God's laws. These Jews, like many Christian's are zealous in judging others by the righteous laws of God, thinking as worldly judges often do they are above the law because of judging others, holding their feet to the fire. But righteousness did not come from judging the law it came from the blood forgiving sins against the law.

Hebrews 9:22 According to the law, nearly everything is cleansed with blood, and apart from shedding of blood there is no remission.

The law could not declare any man/woman righteous, meaning having no sins. It did say we are all sinners, and blood blotted out our sins so we could stand righteous before God. Moreover, the law was limited to certain lesser sins of mankind, animal blood only covered specific sins, not serious gross sins like adultery or murder. Christ took it one step further in proving mankind could not stand alone righteous before God. In stating hating our brother was murder to God even if not acted upon, lusting for the opposite sex was adultery even though not acted upon. Now according to Christ all people than stood condemn in their hearts sin before the righteousness of God and his laws.

Matt.5:21 "You have heard that it was said to the ancient ones, 'You shall not murder;'{Exodus 20:13} and 'Whoever shall murder shall be in danger of the judgment.' 5:22 But I tell you, that everyone who is angry with his brother without a cause{NU omits "without a cause".} shall be in danger of the judgment; and whoever shall say to his brother, 'Raca{"Raca" is an Aramaic insult, related to the word for "empty" and conveying the idea of empty-headedness.}!' shall be in danger of the council; and whoever shall say, 'You fool!' shall be in danger of the fire of Gehenna.{or, Hell} 5:23 "If therefore you are offering your gift at the altar, and there remember that your brother has anything against you, 5:24 leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift.

Matt.5:27 "You have heard that it was said, {TR adds "to the ancients,"} 'You shall not commit adultery;'{Exodus 20:14}
5:28 but I tell you that everyone who gazes at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart.

Paul states this fact above to the Jews thinking they were above the impartiality of God's laws, believing because they taught and enforced it upon others in zeal they were exempt for its righteous judgment, which is a great lie! They like all mankind are found in an unobtainable situation death of sin. Now Paul will make the case, how does a person come out of death through the judgment of sin by the law? How do they come into associated with a sinless God, without judgment? How can they be declared righteous without sin once for all times?

Here than Paul speaks at core, not mans truth, but God's truth. First we must come into truth, our true condition, than comes the solution provided by God as He had done with atonement of innocent victim of animals for remission of sin under the law. The law was not enough or there wouldn't of needed to be yet another law, the law did not perfect anything for one cannot be perfected before God with sin. The law served a wonder powerful purpose in leading us to the solution through truth in Christ.

Hebrews 10:1 For the law, having a shadow of the good to come, not the very image of the things, can never with the same sacrifices year by year, which they offer continually, make perfect those who draw near.

Heb.7:11 Now if there was perfection through the Levitical priesthood (for under it the people have received the law), what further need was there for another priest to arise after the order of Melchizedek, and not be called after the order of Aaron? 7:12 For the priesthood being changed, there is of necessity a change made also in the law.

The Jews thought they were the solution and Christ was the problem, they thought they were righteous before God without sin because they judged by the law, but is was not enough they had been weigh in the scales of law and found wanting. Still they must be forgiven sins, all their sins, not just some. Hence, those of their hearts and those not covered by animal blood. Moreover, they must understand God is the righteous judge, not them, and humble themselves to be saved completely in the blood of Christ.

Rom.13:8 Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law. 13:9 For the commandments, "You shall not commit adultery," "You shall not murder," "You shall not steal," "You shall not give false testimony," "You shall not covet,"{TR adds "You shall not give false testimony,"}{Exodus 20:13-15,17; Deuteronomy 5:17-19,21} and whatever other commandments there are, are all summed up in this saying, namely, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself."{Leviticus 19:18}
13:10 Love doesn't harm a neighbor. Love therefore is the fulfillment of the law.

Continued:

Rom.2:25 For circumcision indeed profits, if you are a doer of the law, but if you are a transgressor of the law, your circumcision has become uncircumcision. 2:26 If therefore the uncircumcised keep the ordinances of the law, won't his uncircumcision be accounted as circumcision? 2:27 Won't the uncircumcision which is by nature, if it fulfills the law, judge you, who with the letter and circumcision are a transgressor of the law?

How does a person fulfill the law? According to the apostle Paul by keeping it, how does one keep the law if he or she is a sinner? By bring blood to the Altar of God for remission of sins by an animal's innocent blood. The law could not be kept without blood of an innocent victims, not unless a person accepted Christ as fulfilling the law for them by his blood in faith. So circumcision was pointless with out an act of faith in the saving blood of an innocent animal life force.

Rom.10:3 For being ignorant of God's righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, they didn't subject themselves to the righteousness of God. 10:4 For Christ is the fulfillment{or, completion, or end} of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.

Here the Jews got it exactly backwards! They thought by a fleshly act of cutting a males foreskin in circumcision made them righteous. In other words, a work of the law made them righteous. Many Christian's get it exactly backwards in thinking some good work will provided them salvation forgetting the blood of Christ is the truth of their righteousness not a Christian work of law. The power of self-rightness imbedded in each of us from sin is so powerful it causes humans to put faith in works of law proving themselves right before others by fleshly external acts, not an inward act of faith in Christ.

Luke 16:15 He said to them, "You are those who justify yourselves in the sight of men, but God knows your hearts. For that which is exalted among men is an abomination in the sight of God.

It was the blood that made each sinful Jews, that is, having the sin of Adam passed onto them righteous for not meeting the law. The Jews put all the weight of the law works and not the truth of the law, which was the witnesses of blood declaring right as sinner against God's righteousness expressed in the law. Hence, in needing remission of sin, not by works of law, but God's own mercy in giving them a precious life for their sins! Their law had become man's law and, not God's law by His showing mercy to them by faith in the blood. It had become an outwards show for fleshly self-righteous to impress other humans in their flesh.

Luke 10:21 In that same hour Jesus rejoiced in the Holy Spirit, and said, "I thank you, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you have hidden these things from the wise and understanding, and revealed them to little children. Yes, Father, for so it was well-pleasing in your sight."

Luke 4:18 "The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted,{NU omits "to heal the brokenhearted"} to proclaim release to the captives, recovering of sight to the blind, to deliver those who are crushed.

John 5:41 I don't receive glory from men.

So Paul makes the point, if a person whom is not circumcised keeps the law, in this case puts faith in the blood of the Altar not the outward sign of circumcision does God account him righteous? Yes! Keeping the law makes a person a non-sinner, and/or right in God's eyes temporarily. So really if a person is circumcised and does not keep the law he is still a sinner and no work of law is going to save him. Now the question is, if your a Christian's, is the law still in effect over you? Can the law be in effect over you without blood? Than each Christian's must asks the question is God using Christ blood for us to keep the old Law or the new law of Christ?

Rom.7:4 Therefore, my brothers, you also were made dead to the law through the body of Christ, that you would be joined to another, to him who was raised from the dead, that we might bring forth fruit to God.

Subsequently, Christian's must believe in Christ for salvation and not the blood of animals under the old law which was a shadow of our reality. So no! God is not allowing the slaughtering of animals so we can keep the law. He has offered his Son Christ Jesus once for all times as our pass-over lamb, removing our judgment under the law, completing it setting its requirements asides by his Son's righteous blood.

James 4:11 Don't speak against one another, brothers. He who speaks against a brother and judges his brother, speaks against the law and judges the law. But if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law, but a judge.

Galatians 5:4 You are alienated from Christ, you who desire to be justified by the law. You have fallen away from grace.

1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ, his Son, cleanses us from all sin.

Christ completed the law, but do you know why? The reward of God's righteous law is eternal life, but if you were a sinner the law could not reward you with eternal life it could lead you to a place that could reward you with eternal life in removing your sins once for all times that place is Christ Jesus. Thus, a Jews must live for a better place by faith that place is Christ Kingdom established by his righteous blood.

Heb.11:39 These all, having had testimony given to them through their faith, didn't receive the promise, 11:40 God having provided some better thing concerning us, so that apart from us they should not be made perfect.

1Pet.1:18 knowing that you were redeemed, not with corruptible things, with silver or gold, from the useless way of life handed down from your fathers, 1:19 but with precious blood, as of a faultless and pure lamb, the blood of Christ.

Heb.12:28 Therefore, receiving a Kingdom that can't be shaken, let us have grace, through which we serve God acceptably, with reverence and awe.

Christ Jesus alone was sinless, he alone could live under the law and not break it, thus, the law had too pay Christ the reward of keeping the law , eternal life. Hence, the law was than completed making Christ the only place eternal life can come through in heaven and upon this earth. God in His love gave us freely the works his son precious life undeservedly so we ourselves can obtain to eternal life by faith in Christ Jesus blood. No longer are we condemned by sins laws, not for anything good we have done, but by the one person salvation rest with, Christ Jesus. Let none of us be so foolishly as to return to self-justification through some work of law.
1Pet. 1:20 who was foreknown indeed before the foundation of the world, but was revealed at the end of times for your sake,
1:21 who through him are believers in God, who raised him from the dead, and gave him glory; so that your faith and hope might be in God. 1:22 Seeing you have purified your souls in your obedience to the truth through the Spirit in sincere brotherly affection, love one another from the heart fervently: 1:23 having been born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, through the word of God, which lives and remains forever. 1:24 For, "All flesh is like grass, and all of man's glory like the flower in the grass. The grass withers, and its flower falls; 1:25 but the Lord's word endures forever."{Isaiah 40:6-8} This is the word of Good News which was preached to you.

Chapter Three Roman's

Rom.3:1 Then what advantage does the Jew have? Or what is the profit of circumcision? 3:2 Much in every way! Because first of all, they were entrusted with the oracles of God. 3:3 For what if some were without faith? Will their lack of faith nullify the faithfulness of God? 3:4 May it never be! Yes, let God be found true, but every man a liar. As it is written, "That you might be justified in your words, and might prevail when you come into judgment."{Psalm 51:4}

The apostle Paul is striking a balance, what balance? Between Jews and Gentiles here the Gentiles have been let into the holiness of spiritual Israel as equal membership in Christ this than was almost unthinkable and intolerable to a Jew. Moreover, we have the opposite extreme that Gentiles were accounting the glory of Israel as of little importance, neither extreme was correct. So how does Paul balance theirs and our thinking, by showing us, it not about man's glory but God's.

Ezekiel 39:21 I will set my glory among the nations; and all the nations shall see my judgment that I have executed, and my hand that I have laid on them.

Matt.4:8 Again, the devil took him to an exceedingly high mountain, and showed him all the kingdoms of the world, and their glory.
4:9 He said to him, "I will give you all of these things, if you will fall down and worship me." 4:10 Then Jesus said to him, "Get behind me,{TR and NU read "Go away" instead of "Get behind me"} Satan! For it is written, 'You shall worship the Lord your God, and you shall serve him only.'"{Deuteronomy 6:13}

Paul squarely shows God is not unjust if Israel lacked faith, their lack of faith did not nullify God's purposes or make him unfaithful, although many Jews might have pointed figures at Christian's thinking God would be unfaithful to Israel for letting Gentiles be part of his spiritual Israel, but he was not. It was squarely upon their shoulders in being faithful to God, not the other way around God could not be unfaithful, and he had proven that by his law which proved all men are sinners. Many people are deceived because their religion has some truth while other religions do not, thinking, God cannot deny them because of some Biblical truth they hold in their doctrines, but such is not true.

Rom.2:1 Therefore you are without excuse, O man, whoever you are who judge. For in that which you judge another, you condemn yourself. For you who judge practice the same things.

Rom.2:8 but to those who are self-seeking, and don't obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, will be wrath and indignation,
2:9 oppression and anguish, on every soul of man who works evil, to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. 2:10 But glory, honor, and peace go to every man who works good, to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. 2:11 For there is no partiality with God.

God does not do injustice because someone has a truth, he rather see our faithfulness to all truth not just doctrinal truth. Here Israel made the same mistake thinking because they were given God's word they were faithful, but such is a lie! Having God's words or teaching God's word does not make a person faithful, it is living God's word that makes us faithful. This was Paul's point he was telling Jew and Gentiles that both must be faithful, they were not chosen because they were better, but because of God's own goodness and righteousness that He extended to each person a chance for son-ship in his Son Christ Jesus.

1Cor.2:28 For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, neither is that circumcision which is outward in the flesh; 2:29 but he is a Jew who is one inwardly, and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit not in the letter; whose praise is not from men, but from God.

None of us like being called a liar! Yet, Paul just called every man/woman a liar, but why? Because its is the truth, we all lie in some action that does not meet the truth, we hid our real feelings and worst we justify our ungodly thinking and actions, but when we do this with God's word we are a hypocrite no matter how specious our arguments become. God never has lie, or had to justify his actions, he does not hid his feelings to save face or from hurting someone feelings, can we say we have not sinned in this way?

Ps.51:4 Against you, and you only, have I sinned, and done that which is evil in your sight; that you may be proved right when you speak, and justified when you judge.
51:5 Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity. In sin my mother conceived me.

The next question the apostle Paul poses; is it better we justify ourselves, or that God's justifies us? This question often alludes Jews as will as Christian's in failing to understand what it means? If we justify ourselves by using God's word the bible declaring we have not sinned, God cannot justify us as a sinner by blood. In other words, if we deceive ourselves thinking we are not a sinner by using some passage from the bible to defend our actions, we are a liar! We are a sinner Jew or Gentile alike, and God has been found true because we cannot say we are not a sinner no matter how much we preach or teach God's word the bible. No matter how indignant we feel towards unrighteousness, or how grand we can lace scriptures together we are all sinners, and the proof is in needing blood atonement.

1 John 5:17 All unrighteousness is sin, and there is a sin not leading to death.

1 John 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

Now Paul has balances the playing field before Jews and Gentiles alike, he is saying don't become haughty and proud, don't boast in yourselves, do not thinking you have right of passage because you have heritage or you hold some sacred teaching, but show humility thanking God for his goodness in righteousness in dealing with us in Christ Jesus and not by the law which condemns and judges us without hope into death.

Galatians 5:4 You are alienated from Christ, you who desire to be justified by the law. You have fallen away from grace.

Yes, Israel was chosen, yes, what God revealed through them is scared and holy, and yes, God loves Israel, but none of that make a man or woman faithful to God, it requires a honest heart to allow God to be justify us while we are forgiven by His loving kindness through the precious life of a innocent victim. Don't be fooled Jews Gentiles and/or Christian's all must accept Christ Jesus righteousness, his good works and his life to be part of spiritual Israel Jews and Gentile alike.

Romans 9:6 But it is not as though the word of God has come to nothing. For they are not all Israel, that are of Israel.

Rom.11:6 And if by grace, then it is no longer of works; otherwise grace is no longer grace. But if it is of works, it is no longer grace; otherwise work is no longer work. 11:7 What then? That which Israel seeks for, that he didn't obtain, but the chosen ones obtained it, and the rest were hardened.

Rom.11:17 But if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive, were grafted in among them, and became partaker with them of the root and of the richness of the olive tree; 11:18 don't boast over the branches. But if you boast, it is not you who support the root, but the root supports you. 11:19 You will say then, "Branches were broken off, that I might be grafted in."
11:20 True; by their unbelief they were broken off, and you stand by your faith. Don't be conceited, but fear.

* Rom.3:5 But if our unrighteousness commends the righteousness of God, what will we say? Is God unrighteous who inflicts wrath? I speak like men do. 3:6 May it never be! For then how will God judge the world?

How was Paul unrighteous, moreover, how did Paul's unrighteousness commend God own righteousness? First and foremost if one losses the context of what Paul is writing about in the letter to Roman's, if one takes a few verses out of context they will come up with a completely different understanding of Paul's meaning. Paul is speaking about the God's righteousness expressed through his law given to Moses in which the nation of Israel had been under for thousand's of years and Christ completed.

Rom.10:3 For being ignorant of God's righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, they didn't subject themselves to the righteousness of God. 10:4 For Christ is the fulfillment{or, completion, or end} of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.

This is how Paul was judged unrighteous as were all sinners, this is why blood needed to be shed for sin, and why all men are sinners. God inflicted his wrath through the laws judgment for sinners, the law caused wrath between man and God, what gave man peace was found in the blood of innocent victims, setting them right for sins, in atonement of purchasing, and/or paying for their unrighteous acts before YHWH by blood.

Ephesians 2:15 having abolished in the flesh the hostility, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, that he might create in himself one new man of the two, making peace.

Romans 3:10 As it is written, "There is no one righteous; no, not one.

Is God unrighteous because the law inflicted wrath against sins of men? If that were truth, how could God every judge the world? In other words, how can God be found unrighteous if he points out we are a sinner that He is paying the price for by innocent life to atone for our sins so we can have standing and peace with him? Remembering now Paul was speaking both to Jews and Gentile here giving a balance, removing the extreme of the flesh which is to condemn evil to make themselves better than others. The law was not evil just because God had Christ fulfill it, nor was God evil because in Christ we are not judged, there was no us and them in Christ unless one believes the Christ exist divided?

Romans 5:19 For as through the one man's disobedience many were made sinners, even so through the obedience of the one, many will be made righteous.

Romans 7:12 Therefore the law indeed is holy, and the commandment holy, and righteous, and good.

The mistake many make is fighting for self-righteousness instead accepting the truth in Christ, they are not happy with the freedom from judgment of the flesh under the law, they want and do judge others harshly by God's law fulfilled in Christ. They swing wide, in judgment or into loose conduct with freedom in Christ.

We are sinners, God great court case satisfied by His law convicting all humans as sinners deserving of death; where not one person born into sin could declared themselves righteous without blood, not one! Now the balance, if one cannot get out of death through sin by ones own effort Jew or Gentle alike, than salvation belongs to Christ. None can boast in their righteousness because none have been made themselves righteous without blood to redeem them by faith in God's provision of salvation, blood. God righteousness saves us, not man's judgment of God Law or God's fairness.

1 Timothy 1:9 as knowing this, that law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and insubordinate, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers.

1 Peter 3:18 Because Christ also suffered for sins once, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring you to God; being put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit.

continued:

*Rom.3:8 Why not (as we are slanderously reported, and as some affirm that we say), "Let us do evil, that good may come?" Those who say so are justly condemned.

Here is what the fool argues because God has freed his children from sins by his Son blood, which is such freedom is evil, because it allows one not to be held accountable for sinning! In other words, God has now become the author of wickedness and lawlessness because of His love towards Christ brothers. Hence, where could Paul go from here with such unrighteous thinking?

James 3:9 With it we bless our God and Father, and with it we curse men, who are made in the image of God. 3:10 Out of the same mouth comes forth blessing and cursing. My brothers, these things ought not to be so. 3:11 Does a spring send out from the same opening fresh and bitter water? 3:12 Can a fig tree, my brothers, yield olives, or a vine figs? Thus no spring yields both salt water and fresh water.

This was the core allegation Jewish Christian's were using to bring back the law of God. Such thinking was imbedded into their hearts and minds after thousand's of years of legislating law, into every detail of theirs lives. Subsequently, Paul point out the truth below that none were righteous or up to God righteous standards found in the law, he point to the truth of each person heart born into sin the heart hid from others, and even to a person themsselves, causing all form of mental disease. But not to God, whom knows all things about the condition of human under sins and their desires produced in us by such lust.

Hebrews 4:13 There is no creature that is hidden from his sight, but all things are naked and laid open before the eyes of him with whom we have to do.

1 Peter 3:12 For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears open to their prayer; but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil."{Psalm 34:12-16}

Galatians 3:1 Foolish Galatians, who has bewitched you not to obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was openly set forth among you as crucified?

Freeing God's children from judgment of sin in their flesh, was not, evil or unrighteous, it is righteous, why? Because God gives the person freed, Christ righteousness as a gift implanted in them for good. In other words, God's children are created with the spirit to do righteousness, and not unrighteousness in them. Moreover, having been declared righteous they must die to sin, being made new without sin, in Christ. In Christ mean being a part of his own body, which is sinless and righteous. Hence, being grafted into a holy root stock they maintain Christ righteous cleansing them from all unrighteousness.

1Cor. 1:29 that no flesh should boast before God. 1:30 But of him, you are in Christ Jesus, who was made to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption:

1 John 2:29 If you know that he is righteous, you know that everyone who practices righteousness is born of him.

However, the law could not work on this level, the law worked on judgment proving all men are sinners and for the honest hearted person it proved they had all the lust in their own hearts at some time, Paul listed below. Those seeking truth were humbled knowing the truth of their own fallen condition and were eternally thankful God had freed them from deserved judgment through His Son Christ Jesus.

Rom. 7:24 What a wretched man I am! Who will deliver me out of the body of this death? 7:25 I thank God through Jesus Christ, our Lord! So then with the mind, I myself serve God's law, but with the flesh, the sin's law.

Rom. 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don't walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.{NU omits "who don't walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit"} 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death.

continued:

*Rom.3:9 What then? Are we better than they? No, in no way. For we previously warned both Jews and Greeks, that they are all under sin. 3:10 As it is written, "There is no one righteous; no, not one. 3:11 There is no one who understands. There is no one who seeks after God.

Can a person understand God without the love of Christ? If Christ hadn't loved his Father so much could we understand YHWH? Well, many past prophets were known by God and he loved them, but could they know the love of the Father without Christ? Here than is a profound question the apostle Paul is ask all of us, but more specifically the Jews, why the Jews? Because the Jews boasted in being the one people on earth whom knew the God YHWH!

John 1:11 He came to his own, and those who were his own didn't receive him. 1:12 But as many as received him, to them he gave the right to become God's children, to those who believe in his name:
1:13 who were born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
1:14 The Word became flesh, and lived among us. We saw his glory, such glory as of the one and only Son of the Father, full of grace and truth. 1:15 John testified about him. He cried out, saying, "This was he of whom I said, 'He who comes after me has surpassed me, for he was before me.'" 1:16 From his fullness we all received grace upon grace. 1:17 For the law was given through Moses. Grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

Colossians 1:13 who delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the Kingdom of the Son of his love.

But how did they know him by law or love? Here is the question fundamental to all of us including Jews and Gentles alike, can we know God by laws, rules, and commandments of our bibles alone, is that knowledge enough? In other words, if such knowledge is enough why would the scriptures tell us we need the Holy Spirit to teach us God's love? Without Christ none could know God as love, Christ brought that to us, fulfilling the law by his own love for the Father, not one person sought God from this excellency but Christ, not one king, prophet, nor Israelite sought God as love, not one was freed of the common sins of the flesh by the law of love, not one could put away the filth of their own flesh having only loving desire by the law toward God or man. Not one could fulfill the law in love, because none were righteous enough in their own love or merit to do so.

Ephesians 6:24 Grace be with all those who love our Lord Jesus Christ with incorruptible love. Amen.

Ephesians 5:2 Walk in love, even as Christ also loved you, and gave himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling fragrance.

Ephesians 4:15 but speaking truth in love, we may grow up in all things into him, who is the head, Christ.

Ephesians 3:19 and to know Christ's love which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

Galatians 5:14 For the whole law is fulfilled in one word, in this: "You shall love your neighbor as yourself."{Leviticus 19:18}

Hopefully each individual reading Paul's words here, which words are harsh and negative will come to what Paul is leading them to the love of God in Christ Jesus. There can be no harder words for some to hear than Paul's word written here, but each person must ask the question are these Paul's personal thoughts, or are they inspired of God through Christ? Moreover, what need did Christ see that required such power shocking words?

Luke 16:15 He said to them, "You are those who justify yourselves in the sight of men, but God knows your hearts. For that which is exalted among men is an abomination in the sight of God.

One, God knows the condition of human under sins, he knows the desires of our heart good and bad. Two, God does not justify our sins of our flesh, what he does is deal with them by killing our flesh to his judgments. In other words, the law killed the works of the flesh physically by God's righteous commandments, it dealt severely with certain sins killing the person flesh, this life, and leaving the spirit of the person in God's hands for eternal future judgments, good or bad. It was up to each Jews under the law to deal with their own flesh by keeping it in check so greater crimes of God did not bring them the death penalty. Hence, the Jews got to believing this strong control of their flesh made the righteous, but it did not. Many Christian's at Paul's time and in our own times have fallen into same this trap.

John 6:63 It is the spirit who gives life. The flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and are life.

John 8:15 You judge according to the flesh. I judge no one.
Romans 2:28 For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, neither is that circumcision which is outward in the flesh.

Romans 6:19 I speak in human terms because of the weakness of your flesh, for as you presented your members as servants to uncleanness and to wickedness upon wickedness, even so now present your members as servants to righteousness for sanctification.

Romans 7:18 For I know that in me, that is, in my flesh, dwells no good thing. For desire is present with me, but I don't find it doing that which is good.

Romans 8:3 For what the law couldn't do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God did, sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh;

Romans 8:4 that the ordinance of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Paul here personifies the truth about our sinful flesh although it smells pretty and looks pretty to us and others it does not to God's standards of righteousness without sin. Paul shocks and incites our evaluation of our flesh into anger and jealousy. Sin is removed from a person sold under sin by death that is the wages sins pays. This is God's standards not Paul's. Adam and Eve died from sin and every since we all die from sin. Nothing good dwells in sin, however, the spirit of the person may seek and come to know God, but God was not, and is not building a physical kingdom as the Jews and some Christian believe. God is building an incorruptible Kingdom without the corruption of sin of Adam. The Jews, and many Christians were not willing to let go of the flesh and its kingdom(s) built with corruptible hands, to come under a incorruptible Kingdom of Christ, which is not of this earth, or formed by human hands, but God's.

Daniel 2:44 In the days of those kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed, nor shall its sovereignty be left to another people; but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever. 2:45 Because you saw that a stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it broke in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God has made known to the king what shall happen hereafter: and the dream is certain, and its interpretation sure.

1 Peter 1:4 to an incorruptible and undefiled inheritance that doesn't fade away, reserved in Heaven for you,

1 Peter 1:23 having been born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, through the word of God, which lives and remains forever.

This lust for power and control by the sinful flesh was corrupting the body of Christ thinking, Paul than shocked each person into harsh reality with the idea of saving some. He ask under Holy Spirit which person was righteous, Jew, or Gentile? Which person could put away the filth of their own flesh by laws and its works? Which person could stop all the lust of their flesh? All lust of the flesh acted upon or not is sin that God does not condone, but kills! If a person refuses God salvation in Christ in killing their sinful flesh making them new by God's own love expressed in sheer undeserved kindness, what other hope is there for mankind and the evils thoughts of their own hearts, which thoughts have been perpetrate upon humanity from times immortal. What hope is there without seeing the truth of our own condition and the need for Christ Jesus making us new by indwelling our very spirits teaching us God's love over the sinful desires Adam past on to us by his sin?

Romans 1:23 and traded the glory of the incorruptible God for the likeness of an image of corruptible man, and of birds, and four-footed animals, and creeping things.

1 Peter 1:13 Therefore, prepare your minds for action,{literally, "gird up the waist of your mind"} be sober and set your hope fully on the grace that will be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.

1 Peter 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to his great mercy became our father again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

Paul is not saying mankind cannot love here, or do good to other humans, and have noble thoughts, but instead he is saying those things are not of God righteous incorruptible standards for eternal life. They are part of self-rule, self-glorification, doing good to condone the bad. God's justification is not condoning evil by doing some good that is not God's standard of justice, it is putting sin to death by the death of the sinful flesh, and its desires. God's standards are not satisfied by fleshly standards of this life, they are factually satisfied in eternal life of our spirit, which Adam killed by sin.

Hebrews 3:6 but Christ is faithful as a Son over his house; whose house we are, if we hold fast our confidence and the glorying of our hope firm to the end.

2 Peter 2:10 but chiefly those who walk after the flesh in the lust of defilement, and despise authority. Daring, self-willed, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignitaries.

1 Peter 3:21 This is a symbol of baptism, which now saves you--not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

1 Peter 1:24 For, "All flesh is like grass, and all of man's glory like the flower in the grass. The grass withers, and its flower falls.

Colossians 2:23 Which things indeed appear like wisdom in self-imposed worship, and humility, and severity to the body; but aren't of any value against the indulgence of the flesh.

Colossians 2:13 You were dead through your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh. He made you alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses.

Galatians 5:24 Those who belong to Christ have crucified the flesh with its passions and lusts.

Now the question is how does God perfect our spirit, is it by law, by punishment of our sinful flesh, or love, in putting to death the judgments of our flesh in Christ Jesus? This thought Paul dealt with here is so powerful that it required shocking truth to sober up those believing their good feelings and hopes removed sin from them and their flesh they must have Christ indwelling them, they must put faith in no other source of truth and righteousness, or they would be mislead into all manner of teachings and lie by Satan power over this world and our fallen flesh.

Galatians 5:16 But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you won't fulfill the lust of the flesh.

Galatians 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I that live, but Christ living in me. That life which I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself up for me.

Romans 8:9 But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if it is so that the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if any man doesn't have the Spirit of Christ, he is not his.

Provoking to Jealousy?

*Rom.3:12 They have all turned aside. They have together become unprofitable. There is no one who does good, no, not, so much as one."{Psalms 14:1-3; 53:1-3; Ecclesiastes 7:20} 3:13 "Their throat is an open tomb. With their tongues they have used deceit."{Psalm 5:9} "The poison of vipers is under their lips;"{Psalm 140:3} 3:14 "Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness."{Psalm 10:7} 3:15 "Their feet are swift to shed blood. 3:16 Destruction and misery are in their ways. 3:17 The way of peace, they haven't known."{Isaiah 59:7-8} 3:18 "There is no fear of God before their eyes."{Psalm 36:1}

Those loving the works of the flesh and the desires of this world find Paul's words here offensive and harsh! Man's heart is set upon war, and the ways of war although they want peace they cannot achieve it by their own desires. Here is the dichotomy we must face at some point in our lives, we see a tree with some beautiful fruit upon on it, but when we get closer there are many thorns and evil fruit mixed in with the good.

James 3:8 But nobody can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison. 3:9 With it we bless our God and Father, and with it we curse men, who are made in the image of God.

Matt. 7:17 Even so, every good tree produces good fruit; but the corrupt tree produces evil fruit. 7:18 A good tree can't produce evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree produce good fruit.

The good fruit cannot gives us eternal life it does not have enough power in the fruit to sustain us forever. Not only this when we look to the tree as an idol to worship it instead of God we get hurt with many pains from it violent thorns. The more we pick and eat the greater its imperfection come out until finally we see no good, but evil in truth coming from the tree(s) of human rule.

Romans 3:10 As it is written, "There is no one righteous; no, not one.

The righteousness of God's law magnified mans sin, it did not sugar coat them like we humans do with many good words, or by pointing to some good fruit to justify the bad ones on the same branches. The apostle Paul tell us the harsh truth of what the law produced in us if we do not accept Christ Jesus. It did not produce the earthly kingdom Jews so desired in righteousness, what it produced was the same sinfulness all human have rather Jew or Gentile.

Rom. 9:31 but Israel, following after a law of righteousness, didn't arrive at the law of righteousness. 9:32 Why? Because they didn't seek it by faith, but as it were by works of the law. They stumbled over the stumbling stone; 9:33 even as it is written, "Behold, I lay in Zion a stumbling stone and a rock of offense; and no one who believes in him will be disappointed."{Isaiah 8:14; 28:16}

1Tim.1:9 as knowing this, that law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and insubordinate, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, 1:10 for the sexually immoral, for homosexuals, for slave-traders, for liars, for perjurers, and for any other thing contrary to the sound doctrine;

Now each Jew and Gentile must face the truth not of their brothers sins in pointing out their wickedness by God's law, but the truth of their own hearts. Stop! Yes, stop! Now take a breathe, the law was created for the wicked and not the righteous, the law was created to show you and me we needed more to be changed out of our corrupted sinful flesh, and what was that? Truth and Spirit of ourselves not the other guy, but ourselves in standing before the throne of God! Yes, in the secret person of our hearts, laws points to the other guy, do they not! Truth points to us, what is in our own spirit unseen from other humans, stop judging, and you won't be judge!

1Cor.3:10 According to the grace of God which was given to me, as a wise master builder I laid a foundation, and another builds on it. But let each man be careful how he builds on it. 3:11 For no one can lay any other foundation than that which has been laid, which is Jesus Christ.

1Cor.11:28 But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of the bread, and drink of the cup. 11:29 For he who eats and drinks in an unworthy manner eats and drinks judgment to himself, if he doesn't discern the Lord's body. 11:30 For this cause many among you are weak and sickly, and not a few sleep.

The whole nation of Israel thought they were righteous by condemning others with the laws of God, even the Son of God! Now they must face not judging others, but whom they are in their heart, why did they still have hurtful desires, why did they still have hate and violence in their hearts? Why did they act religious, and make a show of their find works, in boasting about some work they had done for God? If the law was so good why did they have such bad things still coming from their hearts hid from others?

James 3:12 Can a fig tree, my brothers, yield olives, or a vine figs? Thus no spring yields both salt water and fresh water. 3:13 Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by his good conduct that his deeds are done in gentleness of wisdom. 3:14 But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your heart, don't boast and don't lie against the truth. 3:15 This wisdom is not that which comes down from above, but is earthly, sensual, and demonic. 3:16 For where jealousy and selfish ambition are, there is confusion and every evil deed.

Paul exposed the truth of our fallen condition in harsh truth, provoking some to jealousy and hate, so they could stop hiding the works of their sinful flesh behind the laws righteousness in mocked humility. But he did not leave it there, no! He gave us the only solution to the problem, Christ, in being made into a new creation formed by God's own hands from the personality of Christ indwelling each Christian's. Those loving the world and the flesh; looking to mankind for salvation will be provoked and hate the words spoken here, but they are truth, and with truth comes hope and life, how do you read?

Rom.7:22 For I delight in God's law after the inward man,
7:23 but I see a different law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity under the law of sin which is in my members. 7:24 What a wretched man I am! Who will deliver me out of the body of this death? 7:25 I thank God through Jesus Christ, our Lord! So then with the mind, I myself serve God's law, but with the flesh, the sin's law.

Titus 3:1 Remind them to be in subjection to rulers and to authorities, to be obedient, to be ready for every good work, 3:2 to speak evil of no one, not to be contentious, to be gentle, showing all humility toward all men. 3:3 For we were also once foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another. 3:4 But when the kindness of God our Savior and his love toward mankind appeared, 3:5 not by works of righteousness, which we did ourselves, but according to his mercy, he saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit, 3:6 whom he poured out on us richly, through Jesus Christ our Savior; 3:7 that, being justified by his grace, we might be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

* Rom.3:19 Now we know that whatever things the law says, it speaks to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be closed, and all the world may be brought under the judgment of God.

How do you as a Christian's know God? Is YHWH a God of love, or a God of judgment? Many would say a God of judgment and a God of love so both are good. Subsequently, using a little of both laws, the old law and the law of love when needed! In other words, judgment for my neighbor and love for me, or love for my friends but judgment for my enemies. However, this was not what the apostle Paul was stating here, because this is what he was speaking against in the whole book of Romans.

Rom. 7:4 Therefore, my brothers, you also were made dead to the law through the body of Christ, that you would be joined to another, to him who was raised from the dead, that we might bring forth fruit to God.

Matt. 5:43 "You have heard that it was said, 'You shall love your neighbor,{Leviticus 19:18} and hate your enemy.{not in the Bible, but see Qumran Manual of Discipline Ix, 21-26}' 5:44 But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you,
5:45 that you may be children of your Father who is in heaven. For he makes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the just and the unjust. 5:46 For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? Don't even the tax collectors do the same?
5:47 If you only greet your friends, what more do you do than others? Don't even the tax collectors do the same? 5:48 Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.

The law of God was created to judge us as sinners hence, the law was created for the wicked. However, the world is made up of laws like God's old law which gives power to government(s). The power of the law is the power of the nation. Without laws there are no protection for the flesh making up that nation.

1Tim.1:9 as knowing this, that law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and insubordinate, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, 1:10 for the sexually immoral, for homosexuals, for slave-traders, for liars, for perjurers, and for any other thing contrary to the sound doctrine;

God's righteous laws strengthen the nation of Israel physical and spiritually, but there was a much greater purpose for the law, which was to prove God's righteousness and to bring each member therein under God's judgment. Why judgment, and judgment for what? Sin! Yes, sin in needing a purchase from sins intentional and unintentional, whereas, laws of nation are to bring judgment upon gross conduct and misdemeanor conduct not for sins, but for protection of the public.

Titus 3:1 Remind them to be in subjection to rulers and to authorities, to be obedient, to be ready for every good work,
3:2 to speak evil of no one, not to be contentious, to be gentle, showing all humility toward all men.

God's laws on the other hand proved one was a sinner before they every tried to keep the law, that is, a person could not keep the law because they were a sinner disqualified. Thus, the blood of innocent animals was needed to atone sin, which life paid for the person sins. Not all sin could be atone for. This provision was to teach those searching for God that all human are sinners needing his greater atonement day in Christ Jesus the sinless lamb of God. No human Jew or Gentile alike could stated before God they needed not Christ atonement for forgiveness of their sins in knowing God.

Hebrews 13:20 Now may the God of peace, who brought again from the dead the great shepherd of the sheep with the blood of an eternal covenant, our Lord Jesus.

1 Peter 1:19 but with precious blood, as of a faultless and pure lamb, the blood of Christ.

Hebrews 9:22 According to the law, nearly everything is cleansed with blood, and apart from shedding of blood there is no remission.

None were righteous without sin, all must be made sinless, but how? Not by doing good works like under the laws of human government, but rather by purchase of another mans sinless life, Christ Jesus. When Christ died for our sins, he took our deserved judgment under God's righteous laws, and removed it by making us sinless by God's undeserved kindness in giving us Christ life in place or our own judgment. We have no judgment under God's law any longer, we are under the laws of Christ body membership having been freed from our sins by God's love. Hence, than we are under the law of love, as such free from judgment. This was Paul's point here and in writing the book of Roman to prove beyond any doubt that God is righteous and loving God towards all mankind.

Rom. 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don't walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.{NU omits "who don't walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit"} 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death. 8:3 For what the law couldn't do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God did, sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh;

Continued:

Rom.3:20 Because by the works of the law, no flesh will be justified in his sight. For through the law comes the knowledge of sin.

Here is statement that many Christian's find almost impossible to grasp, and what is that? The apostle Paul's words above saying that a work of law cannot earn us merit with God. Moreover, that the law brought us the knowledge of sin, not life!

Hebrews 10:1 For the law, having a shadow of the good to come, not the very image of the things, can never with the same sacrifices year by year, which they offer continually, make perfect those who draw near.

We are taught from birth to obey rules and laws, they are good for us, and doing so we will be successful, and those not obeying have a life of problems for themselves and those associated with them. How can obeying the law not bring us favor with God, and earn us a good standing? What exactly is Paul promoting here? Here is where a person must stand back and think. All humans are sinners that is a fact long proven by death. Now if someone was to say a person is human none one would take offense at it that is a fact, we are human.

Romans 5:12 Therefore, as sin entered into the world through one man, and death through sin; and so death passed to all men, because all sinned.

Romans 5:14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam until Moses, even over those whose sins weren't like Adam's disobedience, who is a foreshadowing of him who was to come.

Can we work to be more human or are we human? Can we take away from being a human by a work that we do or don't do? Well, such is debatable for those fighting about words, but the truth is we are human because we are born human, not because we earn humanness by the things we do or don't do.

Romans 1:32 who, knowing the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but also approve of those who practice them.

Subsequently, this is Paul's meaning here, we are sinners, the law could not make us not a sinner but because we have different degrees of sins, some not so bad, and some gross sins does not make us or mankind not a sinner. So what did the law do for mankind? It gave us this knowledge that all human are sinner no matter how much good they do in this life.

Romans 5:17 For if by the trespass of the one, death reigned through the one; so much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one, Jesus Christ.

Hence, this is offensive to some, because they think having a knowledge of God's commandments, and/or the law in applying it diligently earns them merit with God YHWH. But not so! God is well please in people loving his righteousness and wanting to obtain to a better person by them, but they are still in need of salvation through the redemptive blood of Christ Jesus as a sinner.

Romans 5:21 that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Now we have uncovered the truth of Paul's words many in today's, world, which still find very offensive. But let us and them move onto higher ground, which is, the law gave us the knowledge of sin, this is why blood of atonement was needed. No one Israel from King to priest or common person could earn enough merit by works of law not to spill the blood of atonement for their sins to stand right before God YHWH, not one!

Hebrews 9:22 According to the law, nearly everything is cleansed with blood, and apart from shedding of blood there is no remission.

But that blood was not enough to free a person from sin once for all times. Thus, God sent us his only begotten Son Christ Jesus to save us from sins.

1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ, his Son, cleanses us from all sin.

Continued:

*Rom.3:21 But now apart from the law, a righteousness of God has been revealed, being testified by the law and the prophets; 3:22 even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ to all and on all those who believe. For there is no distinction, 3:23 for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God.

A righteousness apart from the law, how can that be, the law was righteous and good, is Paul double talking here? No! Paul is speaking the truth about “righteousness”, many Jew and Christian's thinking righteousness is keeping the law, in this they have failed to understand God's righteousness found in Christ Jesus. What is righteousness, it is a right standing with God.

Romans 3:10 As it is written, "There is no one righteous; no, not one.

How do we have a right standing with God as a sinner? Through God providing away of right standing by paying the price for our sins, in the Jewish case, it was animal blood, in Christian's case it is Christ blood. What is a law or a commandment for that matter without blood, can one get the horse before the kart? You see, with atonement there is no righteousness for sinners, the righteousness is found in the blood of victims paying the price for our sins. Who can say on earth they don't fall short of God's glory?

1 John 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

Hence, we all sin, how can we keep a perfect law than? In other words, the reward for keeping the law is eternal life, whom among man was rewarded eternal life by the law that was not atone for by blood setting them right before God? Only one person, none other, but Christ Jesus the rest had to put faith in the power of the blood atoning for their sins, while falling short of God's glory. Did Christ falls short of God's glory as a perfect sinless man while on earth? No! So we have unlocked Paul's meaning here, giving us insight as to why the law although good and righteous mankind as sinner are not, without God's help in providing them a means to be set right from there sins.

Hebrews 13:11 For the bodies of those animals, whose blood is brought into the holy place by the high priest as an offering for sin, are burned outside of the camp.{Leviticus 16:27}

Hebrews 13:12 Therefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people through his own blood, suffered outside of the gate.

As Christian's let none of us reject Christ blood in thinking we can stand right by God's commandments, we cannot, without first being atone for. Than and only than can God deal with us. Let none of us boast in religious rules and laws, let none of be deceived in thinking we can on our own good merit put away the filth of our own flesh and stand right by our merit. No! Let us speak truth with one another we are made right in Christ righteousness, not our own, we have been given his righteousness freely by God's undeserved kindness, and/or grace, and we now stand before God because of his love, and not our own. In this we do well.

1 Peter 3:21 This is a symbol of baptism, which now saves you--not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Luke 18:10 "Two men went up into the temple to pray; one was a Pharisee, and the other was a tax collector. 18:11 The Pharisee stood and prayed to himself like this: 'God, I thank you, that I am not like the rest of men, extortioners, unrighteous, adulterers, or even like this tax collector. 18:12 I fast twice a week. I give tithes of all that I get.' 18:13 But the tax collector, standing far away, wouldn't even lift up his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, 'God, be merciful to me, a sinner!' 18:14 I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but he who humbles himself will be exalted."

continued:

*Rom.3:24 being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus; 3:25 whom God set forth to be an atoning sacrifice{or, a propitiation}, through faith in his blood, for a demonstration of his righteousness through the passing over of prior sins, in God's forbearance; 3:26 to demonstrate his righteousness at this present time; that he might himself be just, and the justifier of him who has faith in Jesus.

We as Christian's often think of God's righteousness as discipline, and/or being strong against wrong doing, which it is. But have you every thought of God righteousness as passing over our sins? Now really contemplated this thought, which is, none of us according to Paul words in Chapter Three of Romans had a righteous standing without God providing us atonement through the blood under the law. In other words, we all stand condemned by the laws righteousness, we could not make a showing or a standing with God without him atoning for our sins.

Genesis 18:23 Abraham drew near, and said, "Will you consume the righteous with the wicked? 18:24 What if there are fifty righteous within the city? Will you consume and not spare the place for the fifty righteous who are in it? 18:25 Be it far from you to do things like that, to kill the righteous with the wicked, so that the righteous should be like the wicked. May that be far from you. Shouldn't the Judge of all the earth do right?"

Gen.18:31 He said, "See now, I have taken it on myself to speak to the Lord. What if there are twenty found there?" He said, "I will not destroy it for the twenty's sake." 18:32 He said, "Oh don't let the Lord be angry, and I will speak just once more. What if ten are found there?" He said, "I will not destroy it for the ten's sake."

Now instead of holding our deserved judgment over our heads, God passover our sins, by sending us Christ Jesus the passover lamb than he justify us as having no sin to prove he is a righteous God. The power in doing so undoes Satan world, it brought all his lying accusations about God's righteousness and goodness to end, God is righteous freeing us from guilty and sin providing us redemption “freely” through what? By earned merit by our works that could not redeem us, no! But freely by his own love and goodness proving he alone is righteous. Yes, by grace, undeserved kindness, God is not the God of false religion looking to fault us, God is not holding a grudge waiting to unleash his righteous judgments upon us, or even the human race for that matter, no!

2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

God is a God of love showing us and the human race great forbearance, we are, but a mist, we are here for a very short time, hence, humans want judgment and punishment upon their generation for evils wrought, but our heavenly Father is from everlasting to everlasting acting as a patient Father waiting for each prodigal son to come home.

Hebrews 12:11 All chastening seems for the present to be not joyous but grievous; yet afterward it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been exercised thereby.

James 1:20 for the anger of man doesn't produce the righteousness of God.

This demonstration of forbearance is the greatest righteousness a Father can have towards us, it is beyond one person, or one generation, its is the beauty of the wondrous God we serve, it is the very reason Christ came to our earth willingly, and went through a living hell for us in his flesh to prove the love of God, which is the righteousness we can express towards each other in passing over sins.

James 3:18 Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.

1 Peter 2:24 who his own self bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness; by whose stripes you were healed.

2 Peter 3:13 But, according to his promise, we look for new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness dwells.

1 John 3:10 In this the children of God are revealed, and the children of the devil. Whoever doesn't do righteousness is not of God, neither is he who doesn't love his brother.

continued:

*Rom.3:27 Where then is the boasting? It is excluded. By what manner of law? Of works? No, but by a law of faith.

Here is one of the most profound statements every made by the apostle Paul. Where is the boasting, excluded! None, there is no boasting in the law of Faith, what is the law of faith, grace. In other words, undeserved kindness, unearned merit.

Romans 15:17 I have therefore my boasting in Christ Jesus in things pertaining to God.

James 4:16 But now you glory in your boasting. All such boasting is evil.

No human can earned the blood of Christ Jesus, no person can earned atonement, no person can say: “I stand by my own goodness, what I have done in meeting the righteousness of God's law, and God's law of faith, not one!”

Romans 3:10 As it is written, "There is no one righteous; no, not one.

The law of faith says we must trust in Christ merit, not some man as a minister, or group, nor organized religion, we must trust Christ righteousness enough and is imputed to us which ends the law and its judgment upon us. We have no standing in self in our works or merit as human being we must put our entire life into the hands of God and his love sent to us in the name of Christ Jesus.

Romans 10:4 For Christ is the fulfillment{or, completion, or end} of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.

Yes, faith given too us by God's Holy Spirit, not mustered from our own goodness, but yet another gift of God's kindness through the Son of God Jesus Christ. God gives each one of us a measure of faith so we can walk in truth and love, which is also the Son of God.

Rom.12:3 For I say, through the grace that was given me, to every man who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think reasonably, as God has apportioned to each person a measure of faith.

Subsequently, when the apostle Paul made his remarkable statement under Holy Spirit it is as deep as waters as one can imagine it is the entire subject that sets God's whole creation free from the enslavement of sin in mankind, in his best efforts to be righteous. Not one was righteous enough to say: “ I have earned eternal life by my good works.” No not one, we all sin and fall far short of God's glory which glory is His righteous, we must be made righteous by another perfect sinless person Jesus Christ in the free gift of grace.

Galatians 2:16 yet knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, even we believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ, and not by the works of the law, because no flesh will be justified by the works of the law.

Romans 3:24 being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus;

Romans 8:32 He who didn't spare his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how would he not also with him freely give us all things?

continued:

**Rom.3:28 We maintain therefore that a man is justified by faith apart from the works of the law.

Here the apostle Paul concludes the matter, his legal arguments of Law Vs. Christ in the law of faith. But what is a work of law, a work of law is not inclusive to only the Law of Moses, humans in any form of Government, religion, and commerce have works of laws formulated by the legal entity. Rules of conduct for those associated with the group which must kept, and/or obeyed to be a member of.

Obeying the rules of the group is a "work of law", that is, how one proves worthy of membership,(justifies themselves as a member), or how members are removed through punishment legally by the group for not obeying the rule of law.

But here was the problem Paul was dealing with, which was, what did the Jews believed the purpose of the law was, and what the law actually proved to each Jew; so what was that? Hence, the above argument in Roman's chapter three that often offends both Jews and Christian's alike whom live by works of law.

Not one person on their own merit could keep God's law, that is, without God's paying the price for their sins, God pays the price of certain sins against the law with precious blood of an innocent victim. Hence, under the law an animal was prescribe by the law itself. Thus, there could be no works of law without blood. In other words, if one could not from the start stand on their own merit saying: “I am sinless!” than how can there be works of law making one righteous? Well, there can't be, what was required of each Jew was faith in God's provision of redemption through the blood of a victim.

Exodus 12:13 The blood shall be to you for a token on the houses where you are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and there shall no plague be on you to destroy you, when I strike the land of Egypt.

Exodus 30:10 Aaron shall make atonement on its horns once in the year; with the blood of the sin offering of atonement once in the year he shall make atonement for it throughout your generations. It is most holy to Yahweh."

How is man's righteousness established under the law? Its not! It is shown to be lacking as a sinner. The blood established a right standing with God, not a work of law. It is faith in the blood under the law that accounts one right before God. Simply put, man is unrighteous because he is a sinner, thus, the need of atonement by a victim to purchase transgression against the law, and the blood being proof of the that truth, and/or the blood establishing a material fact of law.

Hebrews 9:22 According to the law, nearly everything is cleansed with blood, and apart from shedding of blood there is no remission.

Thus, we establish law by our transgression in that we prove the law true, and as righteous, and men as sinners, which was the purpose of God's law. Now having said that Paul moves on into, what is the solution? For Christian's they need to understand faith in blood does not remove the law as evil, but establish its as righteous, and good, thus, proving we need God's undeserved kindness to be righteous.

Hebrews 9:19 For when every commandment had been spoken by Moses to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of the calves and the goats, with water and scarlet wool and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book itself and all the people.

Christian's have outlined for them in God's word the bible thousand's of years of God's people under the law, the good, and the bad of not walking in faith, but faith in what? God's love, God's goodness in not destroying sinners, helping them up by blood, and their putting faith in God's mercy seat the blood on the altar, that is, the blood of atonement.

Hebrews 9:7 but into the second the high priest alone, once in the year, not without blood, which he offers for himself, and for the errors of the people.

Than at God's appointed time He summarize the whole into the reality of Christ the final innocent victim once for all times in redeeming all sinners. God is not the God of just the Jewish people Israel, no! He justifies all by faith in what? The Law, human good works, or strong desires to serve God, or the redemptive power of blood? Yes, the blood stands as the copper serpent on a pole, a humbling acknowledgment that all fall short of God's glory, which the law establishes, not man righteousness by doing works of law, the Law establishes God's righteousness. Now each person Jew or Gentle must look where? Up by faith in the healing power of Christ precious blood. We have all been bitten by pride of sin, we have all lied, we have all fallen short of the perfect righteous standards of God, we cannot pay the price by some good work or motive, we must have faith in someone else merit, in a perfect life without sin, a righteous mans life. A man willing to die for us, giving us his blood to redeem us into life by his merit; the man, Christ Jesus, God's passover lamb.

John 3:14 As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up.

Romans 3:23 for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God;

1 Corinthians 5:7 Purge out the old yeast, that you may be a new lump, even as you are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, has been sacrificed in our place.

Hebrews 11:28 By faith, he kept the Passover, and the sprinkling of the blood, that the destroyer of the firstborn should not touch them.

Galatians 3:8 The Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the Good News beforehand to Abraham, saying, "In you all the nations will be blessed."{Genesis 12:3; 18:18; 22:18}

Galatians 3:9 So then, those who are of faith are blessed with the faithful Abraham.

Galatians 3:11 Now that no man is justified by the law before God is evident, for, "The righteous will live by faith."{Habakkuk 2:4}

continued:

***Rom.3:29 Or is God the God of Jews only? Isn't he the God of Gentiles also? Yes, of Gentiles also, 3:30 since indeed there is one God who will justify the circumcised by faith, and the uncircumcised through faith. 3:31 Do we then nullify the law through faith? May it never be! No, we establish the law.

God YHWH is a God of the whole earth all the human race those putting faith in him are saved no matter what nation of peoples they come from. He is just and fair, he alone is God Almighty. The Jewish faith required them to separated themselves from all nation by their wall, the law. They could not intermingle with false religion or the people practicing false religion, they were a separated nation set aside from all the nation for God's righteous name.

Romans 9:4 who are Israelites; whose is the adoption, the glory, the covenants, the giving of the law, the service, and the promises;

After thousand's of years of this education it had become so will set in the Jewish faith that they hated the pangs nation and their people as evil. They could not imagine association with any foreign nation. Subsequently, when Paul spoke as he did here they hated Paul thinking he was an apostate to the Jewish faith. However, in the history of the nation of Israel many foreign put faith in God YHWH and were consider righteous, some found in Christ own blood line like Rehab.

Hebrews 11:31 By faith, Rahab the prostitute, didn't perish with those who were disobedient, having received the spies in peace.

Matthew 1:5 Salmon became the father of Boaz by Rahab. Boaz became the father of Obed by Ruth. Obed became the father of Jesse.

Faith establish all with God, the entire nation stood on one person faith that of Abraham. Faith is trust in God as good and righteous, as fair and never doing an injustice. Faith moves mountains with God, nothing is more important than faith. But how does faith establish the law? Factually, by the blood of the passover lamb, each person in Israel foreigner or otherwise had to sprinkle blood of the passover lamb to leave bondage of Egypt. It was faith in blood of and innocent victim that moved mountain for Israel. Later it would be the blood of innocent victims that established the law, without blood the law could not be enacted or kept by any Jewish person. Killing the animal and sprinkling the blood was not enough it was the faith of each person in God's goodness in giving the person his mercy in the blood that declared them right before God.

Hebrews 9:19 For when every commandment had been spoken by Moses to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of the calves and the goats, with water and scarlet wool and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book itself and all the people.

Exodus 12:27 that you shall say, 'It is the sacrifice of Yahweh's Passover, who passed over the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt, when he struck the Egyptians, and spared our houses.'" The people bowed their heads and worshiped.

Hence, the law was established by faith in the blood, it did not nullify it , faith in the blood establish a person right standing before God as merciful making the right with God for being a sinner.

In conclusion a Jew or a Christian could look and say we are not righteous without blood of Christ, we are sinners, and the old law was established by blood as is the law of Christ. Now we have the righteous law of Christ indwelling us because his blood gives us his righteous life, and God's Spirit so we are bought with a price. A person of Jewish faith can ascend to the greater law of love, that is, the law of Christ by faith in blood of Jesus Christ. What is true of the old law by faith is true of the new law by faith. All stand righteous not by a work of law, but in the blood of an innocent victim given to them by a God of love.

Revelation 7:10 They cried with a loud voice, saying, "Salvation be to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!"

Revelation 7:9 After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude, which no man could number, out of every nation and of all tribes, peoples, and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, dressed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands.

Galatians 2:16 yet knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, even we believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ, and not by the works of the law, because no flesh will be justified by the works of the law.
