1Tim.3:1 This is a faithful saying: if a man seeks the office of an overseer{or, superintendents, or bishops}, he desires a good work.

A Christian's has two roads at Paul's words here, one is the world view of holding a position over others, and two God's view expressed in the person of Christ Jesus. God view does not allow for dog-eat-dog conduct, climbing the corporate ladder of success. The desire of one flesh is not what Paul is teaching here. He is however, teaching what is required of a male Christian to represent the congregation of God as a overseer.

Luke 9:23 He said to all, "If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross,{TR, NU add "daily"} and follow me.
9:24 For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever will lose his life for my sake, the same will save it. 9:25 For what does it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses or forfeits his own self?

Luke.22:24 There arose also a contention among them, which of them was considered to be greatest. 22:25 He said to them, "The kings of the nations lord it over them, and those who have authority over them are called 'benefactors.' 22:26 But not so with you. But one who is the greater among you, let him become as the younger, and one who is governing, as one who serves. 22:27 For who is greater, one who sits at the table, or one who serves? Isn't it he who sits at the table? But I am in the midst of you as one who serves.

Paul is also encouraging ones to make room for service of others in the capacity of an overseer. Next we must ask why the need for Paul's encouragement, when the world always seeks the top position, why did brothers in Christ hold back? They held back because it was not a desired position like it is in the world. They had family responsibility it was not a paying position, and it was a humble position of serving others by washing feet soiled by the world.

Rom.12:1 Therefore I urge you, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service. 12:2 Don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God. 12:3 For I say, through the grace that was given me, to every man who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think reasonably, as God has apportioned to each person a measure of faith. 12:4 For even as we have many members in one body, and all the members don't have the same function.

Paul himself was not honored by most of the congregation(s) he helped or started only a few were loyal to him and his teachings. Paul did not fill great halls packed with fans. He was often hated and persecuted by those seeking power and control over the congregation of God. So it is in this setting one must have the mind set when reading Paul's words to Timothy.

2Cor.11:3 But I am afraid that somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve in his craftiness, so your minds might be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. 11:4 For if he who comes preaches another Jesus, whom we did not preach, or if you receive a different spirit, which you did not receive, or a different "good news", which you did not accept, you put up with that well enough. 11:5 For I reckon that I am not at all behind the very best apostles.
11:6 But though I am unskilled in speech, yet I am not unskilled in knowledge. No, in every way we have been revealed to you in all things. 11:7 Or did I commit a sin in humbling myself that you might be exalted, because I preached to you God's Good News free of charge? 11:8 I robbed other assemblies, taking wages from them that I might serve you. 11:9 When I was present with you and was in need, I wasn't a burden on anyone, for the brothers, when they came from Macedonia, supplied the measure of my need. In everything I kept myself from being burdensome to you, and I will continue to do so.

The love of God must be in a brother to serve in this capacity, not the love of the world seeking prominence in the flesh, building a good name for self, but rather in Christ as Christ servant in ministering to others spiritual needs, and physical needs, to look after widow and orphan in their tribulation is the mark of Christ in us.

James 3:14 But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your heart, don't boast and don't lie against the truth.
3:15 This wisdom is not that which comes down from above, but is earthly, sensual, and demonic. 3:16 For where jealousy and selfish ambition are, there is confusion and every evil deed. 3:17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceful, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. 3:18 Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.

1Tim.3:2 The overseer therefore must be without reproach, the husband of one wife, temperate, sensible, modest, hospitable, good at teaching.

Here we must face a fundamental question when reading the apostles Paul qualification for a Christian overseer, and what is that? Why would Paul counsel that a overseer must have but one wife, if it is the tenets of the Christian's faith? In other words, most Christian's religions today would not allow in their group a person if you had more than one wife!

Some groups would disfellowship a person for such conduct, yet Paul puts a person with more than one wife in his counsel. Moreover,
history reveals such conduct was not uncommon at Paul's time, in the congregation of God. Furthermore the only reason Paul bring up not allowing a brother in the congregation be an overseer having more than one wife, wasn't because the Paul accounted him as evil, but instead a man having more than one wife most often had many children, hence, it would be a burden for them to serve as an overseer adding to the burden in taking care of such a large family.

What is the point? The point is judging and assuming that our societies standards were imply to the early congregation of God, and than throwing someone out because of a conduct, which seems gross in our society should sober us up with some of are harsh judgments we think God backs. We are not advocating a person should have more than one wife, but what seems so outrageous to us, may only be a societal standards, and not God's standards in dealing with humans under the law of love. One must always remember we have outlines in the Christian's writing as how to conduct our lives, but with few rules, why? Simply because love does not harm a neighbor, love than is the greatest force for righteousness, which as we all know is the whole summation of all laws, God's and mans. Paul did not state that a man with more than one wife was not allowed in the congregation, but they simply not serve as overseer. Paul showed the man with more than one wife, love, and his family in not burdening them with addition family responsibilities because that is what the congregation of God is a family with closer ties than fleshly families.

Societies rules and law will always change, but God love will not, we can do righteousness and kindness in loving our neighbor as ourselves, we can come to understand God is not judging our sinful flesh dead in Christ, and Christ is a force of righteousness found in each true Christian's heart they are not looking a breaking the law nor do they thinking they are getting away with something.

1Tim.3:3 not a drinker, not violent, not greedy for money, but gentle, not quarrelsome, not covetous; 3:4 one who rules his own house well, having children in subjection with all reverence; 3:5 (but if a man doesn't know how to rule his own house, how will he take care of the assembly of God?)

Where do wars and fights come from is it not a desire to control something, to gain something, but how does a Christian's gain by control or in taking? In other words, how does one oversee a family created in love to live under the law of love by works of the flesh? You see, the definition of anger is trying to control something out of our control.

Romans 15:3 For even Christ didn't please himself. But, as it is written, "The reproaches of those who reproached you fell on me."{Psalm 69:9}

1 Corinthians 1:13 Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Or were you baptized into the name of Paul?

Rom.13:8 Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law.

The position of overseer in the congregation is not about unity by controlling and punishing those whom do not agree with our likes or dislikes. It is a position of service in love, it is a position of washing feet, it is not a position sought after by the world for personal glory, it is an additional responsibility, a burden if you will in serving others facelessly putting them above oneself as a servant slave for the body of Christ. Governments have unity, corporation have unity, and even religion achieve unity, but how? Christ set us free, he did not control us, he set us free in love allowing us to come to the fire of love of free will so we could live in love and its freedom. However, the flesh cannot have this freedom so they control through hidden desires of their flesh, using smooth words to gain control to covet mans attention to boast in themselves not the Christ for personal success like the world.

Romans 16:18 For those who are such don't serve our Lord, Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by their smooth and flattering speech, they deceive the hearts of the innocent.

2 Corinthians 5:18 But all things are of God, who reconciled us to himself through Jesus Christ, and gave to us the ministry of reconciliation.

Does fleshly unity work, well, yes it does! Those of the world are very successful in religion, government, and commerce, but does it work in the body of Christ, no! The congregation of God's belongs to no man or elder, it is Christ body, and we are under his headship, it is Christ headship in Holy Spirit that deals with each person in Christ, none have yet been appointed a faithful slave. Those taking a position by bylaws in corporate religion have done so by works of the flesh that controls others. Moreover, those who are presumptuous enough to take such a religious position over God's anointed brothers have taken a very dangerous job.

James 3:1 Let not many of you be teachers, my brothers, knowing that we will receive heavier judgment.

James 4:1 Where do wars and fightings among you come from? Don't they come from your pleasures that war in your members?
4:2 You lust, and don't have. You kill, covet, and can't obtain. You fight and make war. You don't have, because you don't ask.
4:3 You ask, and don't receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it for your pleasures. 4:4 You adulterers and adulteresses, don't you know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.

1 Corinthians 3:17 If anyone destroys the temple of God, God will destroy him; for God's temple is holy, which you are.

1 Corinthians 6:19 Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own.

When one accounts success by the laws of this world in boasting in unity and numbers they are a friend of this world, fear of lost, fear of not gaining, fear of walking in love is not from above, but from below coming from the same place the world accounts success!

1 Peter 3:14 But even if you should suffer for righteousness' sake, you are blessed. "Don't fear what they fear, neither be troubled."{Isaiah 8:12}

Romans 8:15 For you didn't receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption, by whom we cry, "Abba{Abba is an Aramaic word for father or daddy, often used affectionately and respectfully in prayer to our Father in heaven.}! Father!"

1Tim.3:6 not a new convert, lest being puffed up he fall into the same condemnation as the devil.

Here apostle Paul speaks to qualification of an overseer, but he also points to why Satan himself failed. Satan was not a an old angel of God, he was given a position to watch man upon earth, the bible does not say his exact position, but we do know his assignment went to his head.

Rom. 12:1 Therefore I urge you, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service. 12:4 For even as we have many members in one body, and all the members don't have the same function, 12:5 so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.

Satan like many humans think in terms of position, without a position over others they haven't yet arrived, creating envy and jealousy once in a position they get puff up. Paul than explain to us why an elder in the congregation of God cannot be newly converted that is with worldly attitudes for position craving the attention, and power of men by a position. He will get puff up simply because he fails to understand those in the body of Christ as elders are qualified not by fleshly thinking. They are factually qualified by Spirit and truth through Jesus Christ.

Rom.12:6 Having gifts differing according to the grace that was given to us, if prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of our faith; 12:7 or service, let us give ourselves to service; or he who teaches, to his teaching; 12:8 or he who exhorts, to his exhorting: he who gives, let him do it with liberality; he who rules, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness. 12:9 Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor that which is evil. Cling to that which is good.

Being an overseer is not arriving, it is being a servant to those with spiritual and physical needs. It is being less than the worlds greatest by position, it is understanding how a body works? The hand on your own body does not get puff up because the owner of the body puts a ring on its finger. God individually sets the members into the body of Christ for service, they do not climbing a corporate ladder nor do they politic for position to gain the control and glory of men.

1 Corinthians 13:3 If I dole out all my goods to feed the poor, and if I give my body to be burned, but don't have love, it profits me nothing.

1 Corinthians 12:23 Those parts of the body which we think to be less honorable, on those we bestow more abundant honor; and our unpresentable parts have more abundant propriety.

1 Corinthians 12:18 But now God has set the members, each one of them, in the body, just as he desired.

Now if Satan would have understood God's creation, as each person created for the purpose of services of others in love, he would not have fallen into condemnation out of pride. Striving by ruthless competition, in never being content until a person reach some goal is not Christian's or Christ-like. Faith is in trusting that God has created each of us for the service of others. Although, nothing works like that in the world of flesh, fleshly desires have no bearing on Christ Kingdom or the life Christ in us.

James1:13 Let no man say when he is tempted, "I am tempted by God," for God can't be tempted by evil, and he himself tempts no one. 1:14 But each one is tempted, when he is drawn away by his own lust, and enticed. 1:15 Then the lust, when it has conceived, bears sin; and the sin, when it is full grown, brings forth death. 1:16 Don't be deceived, my beloved brothers. 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow.

When religion uses God's word the bible, but the spirit of the world when it comes to its leadership, touching something unclean with something clean does not make it holy. The fruit of false religion is rip with the works of the flesh in competition and fights for position of leadership, not so in the love of Christ.

James 3:13 Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by his good conduct that his deeds are done in gentleness of wisdom.
3:14 But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your heart, don't boast and don't lie against the truth.

1Tim.3:7 Moreover he must have good testimony from those who are outside, to avoid falling into reproach and the snare of the devil.

What is the reproach and snare of devil? It was the lust for power and attention, it was the need to be looked up to. Hence, the devil thought too highly of himself, his needs were put above the fail of the human race, He rather plunge humans into sin disease and death to gain a moment in time for self-glory.

James 3:1 Let not many of you be teachers, my brothers, knowing that we will receive heavier judgment. 3:2 For in many things we all stumble. If anyone doesn't stumble in word, the same is a perfect man, able to bridle the whole body also.

This snare is common among humans, in fact so much so now days that its rare to find a person that not seeking self-recognition willing to teach and persuade others just for attention and recognition. The earth is full of false information because many seek knowledge to glorify themselves. Here than is the truth its a side of life and each person that we human chose not to acknowledge. Humans like the devil will happily promote their ways at the destruction of others to make a point, and be right. In other words, the devil was taken by pride.

Proverbs 11:2 When pride comes, then comes shame, but with humility comes wisdom.

Proverbs 16:18 Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall.

An elder to serve in the body of Christ has to be free of such unrighteous ambition he must be tested first to make sure he is not a prideful person, and what does this mean? Each elder must have proper evaluation of himself with other body members, he must love the truth of Christ more than himself. His flesh, and its ambitious must be dead in Christ. He must be a lowly servant thinking like a servant not a boss or a leader. He must not use the manipulated tactics of the world to get things done among body members. He must not be a man pleaser. He must be lead by the Holy Spirit through the head of the body, Christ Jesus.

12:4 For even as we have many members in one body, and all the members don't have the same function,
12:5 so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.

In other words, few should be teachers, and/or elders in the congregation, because few, and rare are the qualities of Christ humility among men that serve as Christ servant at the cost of all things. Moreover, such a man should be honored and appreciated because truly Christ has qualified such a one and uses him to watch over our souls.

Ecclesiastes 7:28 which my soul still seeks; but I have not found: one man among a thousand have I found; but a woman among all those have I not found.

1Cor.4:1 So let a man think of us as Christ's servants, and stewards of God's mysteries. 4:2 Here, moreover, it is required of stewards, that they be found faithful. 4:3 But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged by you, or by man's judgment. Yes, I don't judge my own self. 4:4 For I know nothing against myself. Yet I am not justified by this, but he who judges me is the Lord.
4:5 Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord comes, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and reveal the counsels of the hearts. Then each man will get his praise from God.

1Tim.3:8 Servants{or, Deacons.}, in the same way, must be reverent, not double-tongued, not addicted to much wine, not greedy for money; 3:9 holding the mystery of the faith in a pure conscience. 3:10 Let them also first be tested; then let them serve{or, serve as deacons} if they are blameless.

There is only one way to qualify as a servant for God either an elder or a deacon, how is that? By Holy Spirit, if a person does not have God's Holy Spirit they are not His, or do they qualify to serve in the congregation of God a Spirit led congregation and Spirit anointed congregation. The flesh does not mix with Holy Spirit, the flesh is dead factually in Christ, we walk in a newness of life and worship in truth and Spirit.

Romans 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are children of God.

If a man lacks Holy Spirit its not a competition of politicking using words to deceive others as to God's qualification to serve. Those making such appointed do so through the workings of the Holy Spirit in them, discerning whom God's wants as teachers and servants of his children.

Romans 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are children of God.

So what is the point, many groups uses the fleshly standards of this world in appointing overseers and deacons they find the Holy Spirit qualification insipid, or little real value. However, those they have been appointed over will be made into weed disciples for Christ, they will practice and continue to practice the same worldly tactics in family and friends, causing God's good name to be blasphemed among the nations.

Romans 8:9 But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if it is so that the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if any man doesn't have the Spirit of Christ, he is not his.

Romans 8:15 For you didn't receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption, by whom we cry, "Abba{Abba is an Aramaic word for father or daddy, often used affectionately and respectfully in prayer to our Father in heaven.}! Father!"

Here is the problem with false religion it first looks to the flesh and its desires and brings them into doctrine and rules to reform the flesh in this life. This is not Paul's point here, what Paul taught is the new creation not the old flesh dead in Christ. He taught the power of Holy Spirit in giving gifts to those God chose to give them. Men of Holy Spirit should no the truth, that is, they are gifts given to serve others, they did not muster them from self, or self-goodness or works.

Romans 1:4 who was declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the Spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead, Jesus Christ our Lord.

1 Corinthians 2:4 My speech and my preaching were not in persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power.

They are given freely to God's will in the life of Christ Jesus as each person is placed within the body of Christ as God pleases. These God appointed and qualified, not by the rules and laws of some religion, nor can some religion take those gifts back as though they control God perfect decision. Here than is the first step to appointment of servants within the living congregation of Christ, humility!

2 Corinthians 4:7 But we have this treasure in clay vessels, that the exceeding greatness of the power may be of God, and not from ourselves.

1Tim.3:11 Their wives in the same way must be reverent, not slanderers, temperate, faithful in all things.

What does it mean to be reverent?

“When you have great awe and respect for someone or something, and you show it by respectfully worshiping that person, thing, deity, or musical group, you are being reverent.”

Here Paul continues what should be known among men and woman in the Christian's congregation of how Spirit lead servants, and their wives should act in Holy Spirit. So many think jealousy of a position, thinking only in fleshly terms they want like the world a position so they are given reverence by the congregation, is seeking such lust they compare themselves against another sinful human, and their character that got them the position. Hence, position becomes personality driven and a competition of acting in certain mannerism, like an actor. This mocked humility becomes the standard of all seeking a position if one can muster themselves into repeating words in certain vocal sounds and jesters, in grooming, and in even the person walk, which also has to be imitated in believing they too can have reverence from other humans.

John 5:44 How can you believe, who receive glory from one another, and you don't seek the glory that comes from the only God?

But certainly that is not Paul's meaning here where he states a truth about godly woman, its not an act or something gained from mimicking others it is a state of heart and mind before God that is a truth of the person spirit. It is factually a person walking in Christ with his humility not mankind fleshly thinking of humility, but a truth of Christ indwelling the person. If a servants wife is such than the man has indeed exercised his headship correctly. This one person before God, not two, can serve the congregation in reverence to God, and will benefit each member therein in love.

1 Corinthians 6:16 Or don't you know that he who is joined to a prostitute is one body? For, "The two," says he, "will become one flesh."{Genesis 2:24}

1 Corinthians 6:17 But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit.

All of us must look to God, and preach nothing but the Christ we are not worship men and their character nor woman we are not trying to mimics the flesh of another person in position we are being lead to Christ with individual gifts of Holy Spirit. In other words, if a hand mimickers of the eye ball of what value would the hand be to the body? Let us move on from the fundamental things of this world into true reverence of God letting Christ indwell us richly and we will grow in truth and peace.

1 Corinthians 7:7 Yet I wish that all men were like me. However each man has his own gift from God, one of this kind, and another of that kind.

1Tim.3:12 Let servants{or, deacons} be husbands of one wife, ruling their children and their own houses well. 3:13 For those who have served well{or, served well as deacons} gain for themselves a good standing, and great boldness in the faith which is in Christ Jesus.

The apostle Paul continues his admonishment for those men qualified by Holy Spirit in being servants and/or deacons to the members of the body of Christ. We must not think like the world here, but rather by Holy Spirit and the fruit it produces in a person being qualified to serve others in Christ.

1Cor.2:10 But to us, God revealed them through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.
2:11 For who among men knows the things of a man, except the spirit of the man, which is in him? Even so, no one knows the things of God, except God's Spirit.

The deacon should be a husband of one wife, noting, that many men at the time had more than one wife, but having more than one wife would place a burden upon a man trying to manage more than one family. Such was not a moral issue at this time in Jewish history it was a responsibility issues in caring for his many children and wives. In other words, having more than one wife did not disqualify the person from being a Christian's and in good standing with the congregation.

Romans 14:17 for the Kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit.

Although, such conduct is not accepted by most societies today at one time it was. This often offends some whom through self-righteousness think they are gaining standing by works of law, however, it was not made into a moral issue when Paul wrote his letter to Timothy. Here than each member of the body of Christ stands on Christ righteousness, not eating, drinking, clothes, nor materiel goods, or education, but in undeserved kindness.

Romans 6:14 For sin will not have dominion over you. For you are not under law, but under grace.

Romans 6:15 What then? Shall we sin, because we are not under law, but under grace? May it never be!

This type of thinking should sober us up when making harsh religious judgments that at another place and time may not be an societal issue. The body of Christ is set free from judgment of the flesh, however, they do not use such freedom for works of the flesh. But nonetheless, when judged in their flesh, it is done with life in view. God separates the flesh at baptism when baptized into Christ from the person spirit, putting it to death in Christ, that is, Christ has no judgment ( he has no flesh, so no judgment), so those in Christ can't be judged in their flesh. They exist without judgment in God's eyes because of Christ righteousness which is sinless him being without flesh and its judgment of death for sin.

Romans 8:9 But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if it is so that the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if any man doesn't have the Spirit of Christ, he is not his.

Romans 8:12 So then, brothers, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.

Hence, if a man understand this he has great boldness within the body of Christ, but if not, he will judge incorrectly his brothers and sister in refining the flesh and its character, which is dead in Christ. A servant brother is dealing with the new creation, and the new creation personality being conformed into Christ he cannot conform the personality of a member of the body of Christ into the world and its fleshly quest to make all things perfect an unoffensive in the flesh, as does corporate religion, commerce, and governments practice.

He must learn to be free of such judgments in walking in the Spirit under the law of freedom in Christ, the perfect law of love.

James 2:8 However, if you fulfill the royal law, according to the Scripture, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself,"{Leviticus 19:18} you do well. 2:9 But if you show partiality, you commit sin, being convicted by the law as transgressors. 2:10 For whoever keeps the whole law, and yet stumbles in one point, he has become guilty of all. 2:11 For he who said, "Do not commit adultery,"{Exodus 20:14; Deuteronomy 5:18} also said, "Do not commit murder."{Exodus 10:13; Deuteronomy 5:17} Now if you do not commit adultery, but murder, you have become a transgressor of the law. 2:12 So speak, and so do, as men who are to be judged by a law of freedom.

1Tim.3:15 but if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how men ought to behave themselves in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.
3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness; He who was manifested in the flesh, Justified in the spirit, Seen of angels, Preached among the nations, Believed on in the world, Received up in glory.

Here Paul summates this part of his letter to Timothy in what ought to be known among the congregation of God, and what is that? How one should conduct themselves in God pillar of truth. We are not walking after flesh, and trying to gain control or power and position as many have done in the past and still doing within religion, but rather we ought to be filled with Holy Spirit.

Romans 14:17 for the Kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit is specific in actions, it is the fruit of God, and the life of Christ in us, what is not, is a justification of lust in our flesh by using a biblical verse from our bibles to cover the evil in our actions and in our hearts. Next Paul makes clear what is the foundation of truth, it is the congregation of God, but why? Because each member therein, are part of Christ the “truth” Truth is not just a word, or verses from a person bible, it is rather the living life of Christ indwelling then as a member of Christ own body, a child of God, how could an untruth exist in God's temple, which the is congregation of God is?

1 Corinthians 6:19 Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own.

This is the great mystery of all times revealed to whom? God's children as the congregation of God, Christ was manifested in the flesh for us, he was tested in all respect in his flesh, which test justify him in spirit, he was seen by angles, he was preached among the nations, believed on in the world, and finally received up into God's glory into incorruptibility of God's image.

Heb.1:1 God, having in the past spoken to the fathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways, 1:2 has at the end of these days spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, through whom also he made the worlds. 1:3 His Son is the radiance of his glory, the very image of his substance, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself made purification for our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; 1:4 having become so much better than the angels, as he has inherited a more excellent name than they have.

Heb. 5:7 He, in the days of his flesh, having offered up prayers and petitions with strong crying and tears to him who was able to save him from death, and having been heard for his godly fear,
5:8 though he was a Son, yet learned obedience by the things which he suffered. 5:9 Having been made perfect, he became to all of those who obey him the author of eternal salvation,

This mystery is not known for the world, it is great because those of Christ body must suffer in their flesh to be justified like their head, they are theatrical spectacle to God's angles, in their trials, and they to will receive the crown of glory as their head received in incorruptibility at their death. All of this is a mystery to the flesh, or the world, and its sight of men in the flesh, such flesh cannot enter into a relationship with Holy Spirit as a son of God, it must die, in Christ to commune with the Father. No work of flesh exist within the body member of Christ. Christ is Spirit and truth for us Christian's we must walk in Spirit and truth to worship our Father YHWH.

Romans 8:5 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.

Romans 8:6 For the mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace;

Romans 8:7 because the mind of the flesh is hostile towards God; for it is not subject to God's law, neither indeed can it be.

Romans 8:8 Those who are in the flesh can't please God.
