Accursed of God?

****Rom.9:1 I tell the truth in Christ. I am not lying, my conscience testifying with me in the Holy Spirit, 9:2 that I have great sorrow and unceasing pain in my heart. 9:3 For I could wish that I myself were accursed from Christ for my brothers' sake, my relatives according to the flesh.

What is Paul stating here, is his plea based simply on an emotional outburst, wanting to be accursed? No! The law was a curse to the Jews flesh, the law was perfect, good and spiritual, but flesh under sin is not!

Romans 12:14 Bless those who persecute you; bless, and don't curse.

Galatians 3:13 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, "Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree,"{Deuteronomy 21:23}

James 3:9 With it we bless our God and Father, and with it we curse men, who are made in the image of God.

Paul had just made that case in Chapter Eight of Romans, that is, the flesh cannot be in subjection to God's law no matter how good and righteous it feels in trying to keep the law. The sinful flesh cannot be made righteous by the law, what the law does for the sinful flesh is curse it, condemning it under God's wrath. When law passes judgment upon us as a sinner, than we are under the curse of the law which means its punishment us. What is the punishment for breaking the law? Death, and not only death, but moreover the suffering from the consequences of breaking God's law.

Revelation 22:3 There will be no curse any more. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and his servants serve him.
1 Kings 8:39 then hear in heaven, your dwelling place, and forgive, and do, and render to every man according to all his ways, whose heart you know; (for you, even you only, know the hearts of all the children of men;)

Ps.90:7 For we are consumed in your anger. We are troubled in your wrath. 90:8 You have set our iniquities before you, our secret sins in the light of your presence. 90:9 For all our days have passed away in your wrath. We bring our years to an end as a sigh.
90:10 The days of our years are seventy, or even by reason of strength eighty years; yet their pride is but labor and sorrow, for it passes quickly, and we fly away. 90:11 Who knows the power of your anger, your wrath according to the fear that is due to you?
90:12 So teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.

Paul is trying to help God's children freed from the curse of the law from those whom were still impressed with the power of the law in the Jewish faith, and for good reason? The law stood for thousands of years, it built the greatest kingdom on earth, from the laws power came all the kings of Israel, the prophets, the holy writings and the temple and its service. But it did not remove the curse of the law from our sinful flesh, it condemn it, so that innocent blood had to be pour out time and again to allow Israel to stand righteous before God, its simply was not enough, it could not perfect us from sin.

Romans 8:3 For what the law couldn't do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God did, sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh;

Romans 8:7 because the mind of the flesh is hostile towards God; for it is not subject to God's law, neither indeed can it be.

Some are offend at Paul's words, but let us consider another point of view. The law was powerful it last thousand of years, yet, the power of the new covenant quickly was removed in less than one hundred years after its birth? The truth for the flesh; the new covenant seems weak, and beggarly it built no kingdom on earth, no kings ruling over the congregation of God, no great leaders, just humble faith in unseen resurrected Christ Jesus.

1Cor.1:18 For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are dying, but to us who are saved it is the power of God.
1:19 For it is written, "I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, I will bring the discernment of the discerning to nothing."{Isaiah 29:14}
1:20 Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the lawyer of this world? Hasn't God made foolish the wisdom of this world?
1:21 For seeing that in the wisdom of God, the world through its wisdom didn't know God, it was God's good pleasure through the foolishness of the preaching to save those who believe.
1:22 For Jews ask for signs, Greeks seek after wisdom,
1:23 but we preach Christ crucified; a stumbling block to Jews, and foolishness to Greeks,
1:24 but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God.
1:25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.
1:26 For you see your calling, brothers, that not many are wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, and not many noble;
1:27 but God chose the foolish things of the world that he might put to shame those who are wise. God chose the weak things of the world, that he might put to shame the things that are strong;
1:28 and God chose the lowly things of the world, and the things that are despised, and the things that are not, that he might bring to nothing the things that are:
1:29 that no flesh should boast before God.

After the apostle died, the congregation of God was corrupted into the fleshly mind creating a counterfeit kingdom from yeast. Where laws and doctrine were legislated into institutions that one day would control the world, just like a kingdom over the nations. But earthly power did not come from the new covenant it was a spiritual law, one that gave up, it did not claim rights for the flesh, so quickly it was trampled upon by those with fleshly minds.

Matt. 5:42 Give to him who asks you, and don't turn away him who desires to borrow from you. 5:43 "You have heard that it was said, 'You shall love your neighbor,{Leviticus 19:18} and hate your enemy.{not in the Bible, but see Qumran Manual of Discipline Ix, 21-26}' 5:44 But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you, 5:45 that you may be children of your Father who is in heaven. For he makes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the just and the unjust. 5:46 For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? Don't even the tax collectors do the same? 5:47 If you only greet your friends, what more do you do than others? Don't even the tax collectors do the same? 5:48 Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.

The flesh has no power in the new covenant the new covenant was created for spiritual sons of God's in kingdom ruled by love. There is no curse in love, no condemnation, hence, freedom, freedom from what? The curse of law condemning sin. Now each person loving God must worship him in Spirit and truth, They must trust in the unseen power of heaven over their lives, they must live outside the city of false worship, and be an alien on this earth until their journey is finished.

Heb.13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
13:9 Don't be carried away by various and strange teachings, for it is good that the heart be established by grace, not by food, through which those who were so occupied were not benefited.
13:10 We have an altar from which those who serve the holy tabernacle have no right to eat.
13:11 For the bodies of those animals, whose blood is brought into the holy place by the high priest as an offering for sin, are burned outside of the camp.{Leviticus 16:27}
13:12 Therefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people through his own blood, suffered outside of the gate.
13:13 Let us therefore go out to him outside of the camp, bearing his reproach. 13:14 For we don't have here an enduring city, but we seek that which is to come. 13:15 Through him, then, let us offer up a sacrifice of praise to God{Psalm 50:23} continually, that is, the fruit of lips which proclaim allegiance to his name.

Yes, like the master they are hated, rejected, of no account in this world, why? Because they live under a new covenant that cannot benefit this world lust for power in its flesh. Their flesh is accounted as dead in Christ, the power they have and are renewed by is the power of Christ life, in his kingdom preparing a place for them when they are called home.

Colossians 2:12 having been buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead.

John 14:2 In my Father's house are many homes. If it weren't so, I would have told you. I am going to prepare a place for you.

John 14:3 If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and will receive you to myself; that where I am, you may be there also.

John 18:36 Jesus answered, "My Kingdom is not of this world. If my Kingdom were of this world, then my servants would fight, that I wouldn't be delivered to the Jews. But now my Kingdom is not from here."

This is Paul's objective, he must speak boldly when the flesh is so powerful, he must incite it to hate and jealousy so each one of us can find the truth, in Spirit that nothing good dwells in this flesh that it will corrupt all that is holy and righteous and not even God righteous and good law could stop its sinful nature.

Luke 13:21 It is like yeast, which a woman took and hid in three measures{literally, three sata. 3 sata is about 39 litres or a bit more than a bushel} of flour, until it was all leavened."

1 Corinthians 5:6 Your boasting is not good. Don't you know that a little yeast leavens the whole lump?

Hebrews 7:16 who has been made, not after the law of a fleshly commandment, but after the power of an endless life:

Colossians 1:13 who delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the Kingdom of the Son of his love;

ABM,

Thank you for your comments. God's people from Adam and Eve until Christ have had a choice to walk in faith or be cursed by their own ways, as a god, bearing their own fruitage.

Jer.17:5 Thus says Yahweh: Cursed is the man who trusts in man, and makes flesh his arm, and whose heart departs from Yahweh.

The context of Roman's was the Law of God Vs. the New covenant by faith in Christ removing the curse of the law. Each person must make that choice in Israel, as will as each Gentle being grafted into spiritual Israel must make the same choice by faith in Christ.

No human could remove the curse of the law until Christ came, his perfect sinless blood fulfilling the law, where they could put faith in his atoning blood. There was no blanket atonement, that is, like Paul and others in Israel wanted or wished. In other words, without faith, thus, each person in Israel had to act upon the blood of Christ just as each person in Israel under Moses had to act upon the passover lambs blood by faith in putting it on the door post of their house.

Paul wished all Israel could be automatically covered (saved) by the blood via being an Israelite, and many were teaching because Israel was chosen of God they were covered without faith. However, the entire book of Roman's is an argument against a blanket atonement, but rather it teaches each person must act out of faith towards God provision of Christ blood than and only than will they be saved and removed the curse of the law.

Rom. 9:30 What shall we say then? That the Gentiles, who didn't follow after righteousness, attained to righteousness, even the righteousness which is of faith;
9:31 but Israel, following after a law of righteousness, didn't arrive at the law of righteousness.
9:32 Why? Because they didn't seek it by faith, but as it were by works of the law. They stumbled over the stumbling stone;

Many Christians today find themselves in a religion with many curses because they look to a blanket atonement through a collective body of religious people to be covered and saved, which is a lie, and works of law.

Daniel

The Word of Promise

****The Word of Promise

Rom.9:4 who are Israelites; whose is the adoption, the glory, the covenants, the giving of the law, the service, and the promises; 9:5 of whom are the fathers, and from whom is Christ as concerning the flesh, who is over all, God, blessed forever. Amen. 9:6 But it is not as though the word of God has come to nothing. For they are not all Israel, that are of Israel.
9:7 Neither, because they are Abraham's seed, are they all children. But, "In Isaac will your seed be called."{Genesis 21:12}
9:8 That is, it is not the children of the flesh who are children of God, but the children of the promise are counted as a seed.
9:9 For this is a word of promise, "At the appointed time I will come, and Sarah will have a son."{Genesis 18:10,14}
9:10 Not only so, but Rebecca also conceived by one, by our father Isaac.

Christ Jesus had a miraculous birth not of man, Christ became the new covenant for us. No person enter into the new covenant without a miraculous birth, not from man's hands, but from above from God's power!

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new.

Colossians 3:10 and have put on the new man, who is being renewed in knowledge after the image of his Creator,

John 3:4 Nicodemus said to him, "How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother's womb, and be born?" 3:5 Jesus answered, "Most certainly I tell you, unless one is born of water and spirit, he can't enter into the Kingdom of God!

This is Paul connection; Abraham son Isaac, he was not of man's thinking or hands, it was of God from above, and by God's power, this is factually where Israel came from. But the nation of Israel changed into an institution of religion claiming their power came from what? All the appendage of what God created through Moses for law and order and worship this is what the nation put faith in not the power of God's miraculous birth of Christ, requiring real faith to trust in.

Galatians 4:23 However, the son by the handmaid was born according to the flesh, but the son by the free woman was born through promise.

Galatians 4:29 But as then, he who was born according to the flesh persecuted him who was born according to the Spirit, so also it is now.

1 Peter 1:23 having been born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, through the word of God, which lives and remains forever.

2 Peter 2:12 But these, as unreasoning creatures, born natural animals to be taken and destroyed, speaking evil in matters about which they are ignorant, will in their destroying surely be destroyed,

Yes, worship of men, and temples, linage, the law became Israel claim to being God's people. However, the choosing of Israel was based upon faith through a miraculous birth, Isaac's, and not of works of law. Now Christ had a miraculous birth, and a new nation from that birth based upon faith was created, a spiritual nation, where each person is created by God's power through faith. Flesh and its thinking did not enter into a new covenant with God, physical Israel could not enter in based upon it own illustrious history of prophets and kings, nothing Israel could present God within their flesh was accepted in a new birth, into Christ, making them part of a new covenant.

John 1:13 who were born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

John 1:14 The Word became flesh, and lived among us. We saw his glory, such glory as of the one and only Son of the Father, full of grace and truth.

John 8:15 You judge according to the flesh. I judge no one.

Romans 9:8 That is, it is not the children of the flesh who are children of God, but the children of the promise are counted as a seed.

Galatians 2:16 yet knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, even we believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ, and not by the works of the law, because no flesh will be justified by the works of the law.

Israel lack no intellectual knowledge in writings or teachers, but the choosing was not of man, but God's power, his thoughts, and not how mankind sees or judges by his laws, even if those laws are written by God and given to his people Israel. The power of God does not lay in mankind fleshly mind, no matter how powerful its thoughts might be? God is the author of the new creation, as he will be of the new earth yet to come.

Ephesians 1:19 and what is the exceeding greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to that working of the strength of his might

Ephesians 3:7 of which I was made a servant, according to the gift of that grace of God which was given me according to the working of his power.

Ephesians 3:16 that he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, that you may be strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inward man;

Salvation for Israel came from a miraculous act of God, from a birth, not of human hands, or from the world below, but from God's own good pleasure and at his time. Those laying claim to God and his kingdom by human wisdom and understanding of the scriptures will find as Israel did, we are saved in God's power, and not in mankind arguments over biblical verses.

1 Peter 1:5 who by the power of God are guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

2 Corinthians 4:7 But we have this treasure in clay vessels, that the exceeding greatness of the power may be of God, and not from ourselves.

God took a people with no understanding of Israel history and made them son's of God, he educated them, he gave birth to them shaming all the knowledge Israel had gained for thousand's of years and boast in. Yes, stone cried out, the glory of God, the Gentile's were hated pangs were grafted into by a miraculous birth like Isaac, and Christ. The world of Christ time did not know him, they rejected him because he was not listed as one of Israel greats, he had no illustrious position, no material wealth, no special position among the teachers of Israel.

1Cor.1:22 For Jews ask for signs, Greeks seek after wisdom,
1:23 but we preach Christ crucified; a stumbling block to Jews, and foolishness to Greeks, 1:24 but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God. 1:25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

Lets us remember, the judgment of sheep and goats, neither knew when they had done a kind act towards Christ Jesus brothers, when we look to man, and/or flesh, thinking God's ways will come by such faulty reasoning, we certainly do not know the story of the bible! It is our faith being tested, not our works, not our ability to argue scriptures, but our belief in God's power, his promises to us, made to us by His Holy Spirit that bears witness to the truth of God's power and love, like Abraham put faith in.

1 John 5:6 This is he who came by water and blood, Jesus Christ; not with the water only, but with the water and the blood. It is the Spirit who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth.

Romans 12:3 For I say, through the grace that was given me, to every man who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think reasonably, as God has apportioned to each person a measure of faith.

Not of Works, But of Him Who Calls

****Rom.9:11 For being not yet born, neither having done anything good or bad, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him who calls.

Here the apostle Paul makes a shocking and profound statement by Holy Spirit which is? The election of God's anointed has nothing to do with their good or bad anything! They are just as found in the human realm, birthed not by anything they have done good or bad, exactly the opposite of what false religion teaches.

Romans 14:22 Do you have faith? Have it to yourself before God. Happy is he who doesn't judge himself in that which he approves.

A human child is birthed without their control, not even the idea that they should live or die the process is only known after they are old enough to be taught where they came from. How can a child boast in whom gave birth to them as though they helped design, and/or planned life before they were given the gift of life?

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Galatians 4:26 But the Jerusalem that is above is free, which is the mother of us all.

This thought was intolerable to the fleshly minded Jews whom judged the flesh as good or bad bast on worth, merit by what? The very law Paul was teaching had been removed from an new creation, a creation birthed by God! How could a person not work toget into the kingdom? How could a person will not entered into their standing in the Jewish community? Well, it was simple enough, it did not matter if you were of the flesh, and judging the flesh in the Jewish community, because God had judged sinful flesh dead from Adam fall into sin! The flesh was of no value at all! It was no value, or God would not of had Israel redeemed in blood!

Romans 5:15 But the free gift isn't like the trespass. For if by the trespass of the one the many died, much more did the grace of God, and the gift by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, abound to the many.

John 6:63 It is the spirit who gives life. The flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and are life.

John 8:15 You judge according to the flesh. I judge no one.

But Paul was not speaking of human birth here, he was speaking of a Spirit birth into something never before known by man, and what is that? A new creation, created by God's will (Spirit), not man's will (flesh), just as a child born into this world having no control over their life, or whom, or where, or what family they will be born into. Moreover, what characteristics they will have growing up, or what training the family will given them, or how much love the family will show them?

Rom.9:20 But indeed, O man, who are you to reply against God? Will the thing formed ask him who formed it, "Why did you make me like this?"{Isaiah 29:16; 45:9} 9:21 Or hasn't the potter a right over the clay, from the same lump to make one part a vessel for honor, and another for dishonor?

Essentially, religion (fleshly worship) lost its power in God's new creation, no longer could religion boast in creating a better personality in their religion, a better person giving glory to some person teaching them. No longer could religion take control of a person life, and demand it to be used for the purpose of a religion. No they had nothing, that is, zero to do with whom God choose of his children, no right in their growth, or education, and/or their judgment.

1Cor.4:1 So let a man think of us as Christ's servants, and stewards of God's mysteries. 4:2 Here, moreover, it is required of stewards, that they be found faithful. 4:3 But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged by you, or by man's judgment. Yes, I don't judge my own self. 4:4 For I know nothing against myself. Yet I am not justified by this, but he who judges me is the Lord. 4:5 Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord comes, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and reveal the counsels of the hearts. Then each man will get his praise from God.

So Paul in real terms helps anyone with an honest heart understand how Christ strip all power and glory away from Satan, and his system of things when Christ ascended back to the Father. However, Satan has used every scheme to steal the freedom of God's son's through false religion.

Col.2:12 having been buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead. 2:13 You were dead through your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh. He made you alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses, 2:14 wiping out the handwriting in ordinances which was against us; and he has taken it out of the way, nailing it to the cross; 2:15 having stripped the principalities and the powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

In fact, creating a false kingdom, a yeast kingdom, to enslave God's children. A yeast kingdom created by laws of the flesh, mixed into the law of freedom over God's children; love. Where God's children would fall into works of law judging each others flesh thinking their righteousness came from obedience to the flesh instead of a new birth into righteousness; Christ Jesus.

1 Peter 3:21 This is a symbol of baptism, which now saves you--not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Titus 3:3 For we were also once foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.
3:4 But when the kindness of God our Savior and his love toward mankind appeared, 3:5 not by works of righteousness, which we did ourselves, but according to his mercy, he saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit.

Righteousness is Christ Jesus for God's anointed not laws for the flesh judged dead. Moreover, they had not birthed themselves into Christ as a new creation they could not claim righteousness by their own will or works. Their new life was given because of God's will, their entire existence as an new creation was given to them by gifts of God's Holy Spirit, why is this important?

Philippians 2:13 For it is God who works in you both to will and to work, for his good pleasure.

Ephesians 2:9 not of works, that no one would boast.

Ephesians 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them.

Simply because, their flesh is judged dead in Christ, no longer held against them by God's righteous law. They are new, not in flesh, or its works done through the flesh, But dead in the flesh hated and judged by God as having nothing good dwelling in it, but rather new in being created in spirit, in Christ, a spirit person. They are not being judged in the spirit by the law of love, the Royal Law of God, whom is love.

1 John 4:17 In this love has been made perfect among us, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment, because as he is, even so are we in this world.

1 John 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear has punishment. He who fears is not made perfect in love.
God does not love any works of our sinful flesh, if so he would not have killed it in Christ. Nor would he have allowed millions of innocent lives to be slaughter at his altar for redemption of sins in the flesh. God instead gave all to put the flesh to death once for all time by sending us his son Christ Jesus.

1 John 2:16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, isn't the Father's, but is the world's.

1 Peter 4:2 that you no longer should live the rest of your time in the flesh for the lusts of men, but for the will of God.

1 Peter 3:18 Because Christ also suffered for sins once, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring you to God; being put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit;

Romans 13:14 But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, for its lusts.

I Loved Jacob, But Hated Esau!

****Rom.9:12 it was said to her, "The elder will serve the younger."{Genesis 25:23} 9:13 Even as it is written, "Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated."{Malachi 1:2-3} 9:14 What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? May it never be!

God YHWH has created from non-existence life in every detail, God created and started the process of all life in heaven and upon earth, but is this why he hated Esau and loved Jacob?
Genesis 7:14 they, and every animal after its kind, all the livestock after their kind, every creeping thing that creeps on the earth after its kind, and every bird after its kind, every bird of every sort.

Well, in honestly reading the book of Roman's no it not! The book of Roman's is a letter, meaning as one written document, we will find a theme, which is Spirit Vs. the Flesh, law for the fallen flesh Vs. the law of the Spirit love. Many Christian's have this misconception that something good dwells in a person fallen flesh, and God is in love with it.

Psalms 49:7 none of them can by any means redeem his brother, nor give God a ransom for him.

Romans 3:23 for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God;

Romans 8:7 because the mind of the flesh is hostile towards God; for it is not subject to God's law, neither indeed can it be.

Moreover, if a person is not born again by God's Holy Spirit they cannot separate the flesh from the Spirit simply because the flesh cannot know God whom is Spirit person. The context in Roman are those of the flesh trying to overcome those born of God's Spirit enslaving them again to laws created for the wicked, which is, the works found in the fallen flesh and God's righteous laws condemned as evil, not part of God, or his Son Christ Jesus whom don't sin because they have no fallen flesh.

1 John 3:4 Everyone who sins also commits lawlessness. Sin is lawlessness.

Rom.8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don't walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.{NU omits "who don't walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit"} 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death.

1 John 3:9 Whoever is born of God doesn't commit sin, because his seed remains in him; and he can't sin, because he is born of God.

John 8:36 If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed.

In other words, the law was not created for sinless people, it was however, factually created for sinners. God separates our flesh from our spirit, and he destroys our flesh, that is, kills it to any further judgment by his laws for the wicked. This profound legal process was summed up in one person Christ Jesus by his precious life redeeming us from the curse of the law by killing our flesh and giving us the merit of Christ life, a sinless perfect life so we might share in his life.

1 Peter 1:23 having been born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, through the word of God, which lives and remains forever.

1 John 3:9 Whoever is born of God doesn't commit sin, because his seed remains in him; and he can't sin, because he is born of God.

Revelation 12:17 The dragon grew angry with the woman, and went away to make war with the rest of her seed, who keep God's commandments and hold Jesus' testimony.

Paul then teaches us that it is Christ merit, not our merit, why? Because the choosing of those anointed as God's son's is not by any human goodness or merit, but rather by God's choosing whom will received the merit of his Son's life. The issue was at the time that Israel was God's chosen people and as such the law and its practice must be good, so if it is good than why aren't Christian's using it? (human wisdom)

Galatians 2:18 For if I build up again those things which I destroyed, I prove myself a law-breaker.

Galatians 2:19 For I, through the law, died to the law, that I might live to God.

Galatians 2:21 I don't make void the grace of God. For if righteousness is through the law, then Christ died for nothing!"

Galatians 3:13 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, "Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree,"{Deuteronomy 21:23}

But God's choosing is not about the flesh, the flesh does not exist in God's choosing, the flesh is destroyed in Christ as not being redeemable into eternal life. In other words, there is no secret, God by the power of His Holy Spirit is creating, not re-creating from an old personality into a new person according to the image of Christ. The power is by Holy Spirit for God's new creation, it is that power which creates all things new, not by (flesh) the power of procreation where humans are found in sin and death condemned by God's law as unrighteous. God is creating all things new without sin, or its corrupting influence into unleavened bread; the Christ is the new creation.

Revelation 21:5 He who sits on the throne said, "Behold, I am making all things new." He said, "Write, for these words of God are faithful and true."

Revelation 2:17 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies. To him who overcomes, to him I will give of the hidden manna,{Manna is supernatural food, named after the Hebrew for "What is it?". See Exodus 11:7-9.} and I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written, which no one knows but he who receives it.

Colossians 3:10 and have put on the new man, who is being renewed in knowledge after the image of his Creator.

Christ is a new lump, not the old lump from the sins of this world, Christ is the new Adam, and from him will come all things new, without sin. Subsequently, many Christian's think its about personality God's choosing, but its about nothing they have practice good or bad. Its about God planting wheat, a seed, from heaven, Christ Jesus who is incorruptable, whic God has created, not man. Planted according to its kind (Spirit) and the wheat growing into what its kind is – wheat.

Isaiah 60:21 Your people also shall be all righteous; they shall inherit the land forever, the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified.

Matthew 15:13 But he answered, "Every plant which my heavenly Father didn't plant will be uprooted.

1 Corinthians 5:7 Purge out the old yeast, that you may be a new lump, even as you are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, has been sacrificed in our place.

It not about the power of sin (weeds) found in human being reformed, no! God rejects and kills sin, how? By atoning for it, which kills it, and then redeeming/removes our sins by precious life. God also created our spirit, Esau would be controlled by flesh, Jacob would be a person of faith, that is, controlled by Spirit, which Spirit is freedom from the fallen flesh. ( Freedom from God's Judgment by law for the wicked)

Romans 1:17 For in it is revealed God's righteousness from faith to faith. As it is written, "But the righteous shall live by faith."{Habakkuk 2:4}

Romans 12:3 For I say, through the grace that was given me, to every man who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think reasonably, as God has apportioned to each person a measure of faith.

1 Corinthians 2:5 that your faith wouldn't stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

1 Corinthians 12:9 to another faith, by the same Spirit; and to another gifts of healings, by the same Spirit;

The entire books of the bibles stand on one theme flesh against Spirit, a war, violent sometimes. Flesh opposes God's Spirit and cannot be in subjection to it. God hating the sinful flesh does not mean he hates our spirit, but the flesh must die, so God can live in us like he did Adam. God has set in order a new Adam that sets us free from our flesh and its judgments so we can be transformed into a new creation without the laws created for the old creation under sin condemning and punishing what is of no value at all, the fallen flesh to God creating all things new without sin!

Jude 1:23 and some save, snatching them out of the fire with fear, hating even the clothing stained by the flesh.

Galatians 6:8 For he who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption. But he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.

Galatians 5:17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, that you may not do the things that you desire.

Romans 8:8 Those who are in the flesh can't please God.

Romans 8:9 But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if it is so that the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if any man doesn't have the Spirit of Christ, he is not his.

God knows before our birth his seed, he created it and plants it, his seed is Spirit, God does not love sin, or the production of sin found in the lust of our fallen flesh. The mystery for all fallen flesh is faith (not the persesion of all mankind faith/Spirit, but laws of the flesh are, and there judgments) that God is good and perfect and what he plants will have certain success despite all things in this world and its fears through fleshly judgments.

Psalms 1:3 He will be like a tree planted by the streams of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also does not wither. Whatever he does shall prosper.

Ezekiel 36:36 Then the nations that are left around you shall know that I, Yahweh, have built the ruined places, and planted that which was desolate: I, Yahweh, have spoken it, and I will do it.

Isa.40:22 It is he who sits above the circle of the earth, and its inhabitants are like grasshoppers; who stretches out the heavens like a curtain, and spreads them out like a tent to dwell in; 40:23 who brings princes to nothing; who makes the judges of the earth like meaningless. 40:24 They are planted scarcely. They are sown scarcely. Their stock has scarcely taken root in the ground. He merely blows on them, and they wither, and the whirlwind takes them away as stubble. 40:25 "To whom then will you liken me? Who is my equal?" says the Holy One. 40:26 Lift up your eyes on high, and see who has created these, who brings out their army by number. He calls them all by name. by the greatness of his might, and because he is strong in power, Not one is lacking. 40:27 Why do you say, Jacob, and speak, Israel, "My way is hidden from Yahweh, and the justice due me is disregarded by my God?" 40:28 Haven't you known? Haven't you heard? The everlasting God, Yahweh, The Creator of the ends of the earth, doesn't faint. He isn't weary. His understanding is unsearchable. 40:29 He gives power to the weak. He increases the strength of him who has no might. 40:30 Even the youths faint and get weary, and the young men utterly fall; 40:31 But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint.

"I Will Have Mercy on Whom I Have Mercy"

****Rom.9:15 For he said to Moses, "I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion."{Exodus 33:19} 9:16 So then it is not of him who wills, nor of him who runs, but of God who has mercy. 9:17 For the Scripture says to Pharaoh, "For this very purpose I caused you to be raised up, that I might show in you my power, and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth."{Exodus 9:16} 9:18 So then, he has mercy on whom he desires, and he hardens whom he desires.

God speaks creation into being, man would like that power, and often thinks if he or she is positive enough they like God can speaking things into existence. However, God's power does not lie, nor does it do unrighteous acts and than justify those bad fruits as being OK because of good intentions.

James 4:1 Where do wars and fightings among you come from? Don't they come from your pleasures that war in your members? 4:2 You lust, and don't have. You kill, covet, and can't obtain. You fight and make war. You don't have, because you don't ask. 4:3 You ask, and don't receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it for your pleasures.
4:4 You adulterers and adulteresses, don't you know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. 4:5 Or do you think that the Scripture says in vain, "The Spirit who lives in us yearns jealously"? 4:6 But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, "God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble."{Proverbs 3:34}

Here the apostle Paul speak to a new creation which their heavenly Father spoke into being, but some of them had missed a fundamental truth, and what was that truth? That it was by God's will they were birthed into a new creation,(Not flesh by the Law) and God their Father was dealing with them as he chose (by Spirit) no matter what man thought or taught about this subject!

Galatians 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I that live, but Christ living in me. That life which I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself up for me.

1 Peter 4:11 If anyone speaks, let it be as it were the very words of God. If anyone serves, let it be as of the strength which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.

Many can roam about, many can seek for secret knowledge in the scriptures, and unearth ancient relics to unlock mystery of the universe, but the greatest mystery of all is Jehovah God himself and his word (Spirit) when he speaks it exist. Unfortunately, some of the new creation here thought the process stopped in their creation once they were birthed by Spirit, but Paul states under Holy Spirit that growth continues at God's will, and than uses an unrighteous person (Flesh)to prove the point, the Pharaoh of Egypt!

1Pet.1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to his great mercy became our father again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 1:4 to an incorruptible and undefiled inheritance that doesn't fade away, reserved in Heaven for you, 1:5 who by the power of God are guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. 1:6 Wherein you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been put to grief in various trials, 1:7 that the proof of your faith, which is more precious than gold that perishes even though it is tested by fire, may be found to result in praise, glory, and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ--

The new creation is God's purpose and his will; each part of that new creation, which is Christ, and his members, as one seed, must have complete success, no matter the problems encounter on this earth. Nothing will separate them (Spirit) from the love of God which is the highest purpose of God in setting the creation free from the futility (flesh) of mankind's lack of love for each others and themselves.

Revelation 3:19 As many as I love, I reprove and chasten. Be zealous therefore, and repent.

1 John 4:16 We know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and he who remains in love remains in God, and God remains in him.

1 John 4:12 No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God remains in us, and his love has been perfected in us.

Pharaoh a king slave owner was allowed to train God's people in a very harsh and unloving country, Egypt (flesh) in their unrighteous flesh of no value at all. God allowed for that unrighteous demigod to rule his people until God will that he release them to prove, and form his people into a kingdom of kings, priest, and worshipers of Him (Spirit). Nothing Pharaoh or man could have done would have prevented that from happening at God precise time. Now we must turn our attention to the context of Roman's Chapter Eight and Nine; so whom is the new creation Pharaoh, their task master which God uses to train and perfect us in faith upon earth?

Isaiah 40:6 The voice of one saying, "Cry!" One said, "What shall I cry?" "All flesh is like grass, and all its glory is like the flower of the field.

Isaiah 40:7 The grass withers, the flower fades, because Yahweh's breath blows on it. Surely the people are like grass. 40:8 The grass withers, the flower fades; but the word of our God stands forever."

Flesh! All flesh ours included, flesh is but green grass, a mere flower of the field when compared to YHWH the Spirit. Our being enslaved to it in any form becomes the new creation disciplinary and task master God uses to make us into vessel of mercy. Here than is the context those anointed as God new creation whom where acting like the world, as though they ran and willed the out come of their own lives upon earth. Sadly, making themselves into a demigod by walking in the flesh thinking God was punishing them when they were plaguing themselves by human wisdom! Now think? What is the context of the letter of Roman's, Law Vs.Spirit, the unrighteous in their flesh under laws to condemn the sins of the flesh vs. freedom for corruption of sin by Spirit. But they had faulty flesh thinking that they were killimg their flesh by God's good and righteous law given to Israel instead of the life of Christ which freed them from the flesh (meaning sins)!

Hebrews 12:9 Furthermore, we had the fathers of our flesh to chasten us, and we paid them respect. Shall we not much rather be in subjection to the Father of spirits, and live?

Colossians 2:13 You were dead through your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh. He made you alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses.

Philippians 3:3 For we are the circumcision, who worship God in the Spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh;

Galatians 5:17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, that you may not do the things that you desire.

Romans 8:3 For what the law couldn't do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God did, sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh;

Romans 7:18 For I know that in me, that is, in my flesh, dwells no good thing. For desire is present with me, but I don't find it doing that which is good.

Romans 7:25 I thank God through Jesus Christ, our Lord! So then with the mind, I myself serve God's law, but with the flesh, the sin's law.

Freedom of sin could not come from the Law! No! God must set one free by his power from bondage and slavery to declare his glory to the nations (flesh) he is the creator, not the law for the flesh which only proved that we are enslaved to sin and corruption by our fallen flesh. The glory of God in his new creation through God's power, and his will alone. Nothing on this earth could free the flesh from God's judgment, nothing on this earth could raise these brothers and sister into being seated with Christ (Spirit). Nothing within the nation of Israel by connection to the flesh had freed them from their flesh (sin), but God's power into a new birth by Spirit and truth. Now they must live in Christ by faith (meaning without sin), not by sight of flesh, not by man's will at all; the training comes at what God allows, and that take great faith for those of the new creation in the flesh not to blame God, for the unrighteous acts of flesh which still plague them until God purpose are completed on this earth for them.

1Cor.10:1 Now I would not have you ignorant, brothers, that our fathers were all under the cloud, and all passed through the sea; 10:2 and were all baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea; 10:3 and all ate the same spiritual food; 10:4 and all drank the same spiritual drink. For they drank of a spiritual rock that followed them, and the rock was Christ. 10:5 However with most of them, God was not well pleased, for they were overthrown in the wilderness. 10:6 Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted. 10:7 Neither be idolaters, as some of them were. As it is written, "The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play."{Exodus 32:6} 10:8 Neither let us commit sexual immorality, as some of them committed, and in one day twenty-three thousand fell. 10:9 Neither let us test the Lord, as some of them tested, and perished by the serpents. 10:10 Neither grumble, as some of them also grumbled, and perished by the destroyer. 10:11 Now all these things happened to them by way of example, and they were written for our admonition, on whom the ends of the ages have come. 10:12 Therefore let him who thinks he stands be careful that he doesn't fall. 10:13 No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.

James 1:12 Blessed is the man who endures temptation, for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life, which the Lord promised to those who love him. 1:13 Let no man say when he is tempted, "I am tempted by God," for God can't be tempted by evil, and he himself tempts no one. 1:14 But each one is tempted, when he is drawn away by his own lust, and enticed. 1:15 Then the lust, when it has conceived, bears sin; and the sin, when it is full grown, brings forth death. 1:16 Don't be deceived, my beloved brothers.
1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow. 1:18 Of his own will he brought us forth by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of first fruits of his creatures. 1:19 So, then, my beloved brothers, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger; 1:20 for the anger of man doesn't produce the righteousness of God.

Why Does God Still Find Fault?

****Rom.9:19 You will say then to me, "Why does he still find fault? For who withstands his will?" 9:20 But indeed, O man, who are you to reply against God? Will the thing formed ask him who formed it, "Why did you make me like this?"{Isaiah 29:16; 45:9} 9:21 Or hasn't the potter a right over the clay, from the same lump to make one part a vessel for honor, and another for dishonor? 9:22 What if God, willing to show his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much patience vessels of wrath made for destruction, 9:23 and that he might make known the riches of his glory on vessels of mercy, which he prepared beforehand for glory, 9:24 us, whom he also called, not from the Jews only, but also from the Gentiles?

Why would brothers and sisters of the anointed, that is, God's children answer back to their Father? Yes, that is Paul's point that he is making here? Some thought God was angry at them and punishing them and like children they were smarting back to God!

Heb.12:8 But if you are without discipline, of which all have been made partakers, then are you illegitimate, and not children. 12:9 Furthermore, we had the fathers of our flesh to chasten us, and we paid them respect. Shall we not much rather be in subjection to the Father of spirits, and live?

In other words, despite all that a perfect man suffered in his flesh for them, Christ Jesus they had fallen into the trap that they would not have to suffer in their flesh. They were chosen, special, and should live a blessed life on earth the preparation for ruling with Christ came only from the world causing them suffering, and not from themselves, that is, their own flesh.

4:4 You adulterers and adulteresses, don't you know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.
4:5 Or do you think that the Scripture says in vain, "The Spirit who lives in us yearns jealously"?

Not understanding they were in a vessel fit for destruction (flesh), and also in a new vessel for God's glory (Christ) this is why they were asking God the ultimate question: “ are you still finding fault with me?”

James 4:6 But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, "God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble."{Proverbs 3:34} 4:7 Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 4:8 Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

No! God was not, they had been misled by laws of the flesh, works of law that demand perfection from a vessel that cannot be perfected. That is the context of Roman's; ones anointed still trying to be perfect in their flesh by rules and laws invalidating the life of Christ which perished for them.

1 Peter 3:21 This is a symbol of baptism, which now saves you--not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,

Rom.7:5 For when we were in the flesh, the sinful passions which were through the law, worked in our members to bring forth fruit to death. 7:6 But now we have been discharged from the law, having died to that in which we were held; so that we serve in newness of the spirit, and not in oldness of the letter.

The process they did not understand and refused to grasp because of a fleshly legal mind. Subsequently, they punished themselves, and/or each other because of lack of faith in what Christ merit purchased them from, and what was that? The judgment of their vessel fit for destruction their flesh! Hence, they answered back to God YHWH, and why not the flesh justifies its self by actions, works, works of law what it has done to prove its worthiness to whom? God, does it not?

Rom.7:14 For we know that the law is spiritual, but I am fleshly, sold under sin. 7:15 For I don't know what I am doing. For I don't practice what I desire to do; but what I hate, that I do.

Rom. 7:18 For I know that in me, that is, in my flesh, dwells no good thing. For desire is present with me, but I don't find it doing that which is good.

Gal.5:17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, that you may not do the things that you desire.

However, God was not justifying their flesh, or their fleshly thinking in fact both stood condemned by his righteous laws. In others words, the process of flesh against Spirit was instituted by Christ indwelling them, they must suffer in death from their the fallen flesh, and be made alive by God's Spirit (daily). God was not like false religion co-mingling flesh and Spirit into a new more gentler religion easier on the ears and pallet. Nor was God instituting a religion that got its righteousness by harsh treatment of the flesh something put to death in Christ.

Gal. 4:1 But I say that so long as the heir is a child, he is no different from a bondservant, though he is lord of all;
4:2 but is under guardians and stewards until the day appointed by the father. 4:3 So we also, when we were children, were held in bondage under the elemental principles of the world.
4:4 But when the fullness of the time came, God sent out his Son, born to a woman, born under the law, 4:5 that he might redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of children. 4:6 And because you are children, God sent out the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, "Abba,{Abba is a Greek spelling for the Aramaic word for "Father" or "Daddy" used in a familiar, respectful, and loving way.} Father!" 4:7 So you are no longer a bondservant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.
Ephesians 5:29 For no man ever hated his own flesh; but nourishes and cherishes it, even as the Lord also does the assembly;

Romans 8:9 But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if it is so that the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if any man doesn't have the Spirit of Christ, he is not his.

The process was for God's anointed to understand the Spirit in them what they had been freed from, and to walk in love. On the other hand, the process of the flesh they were still in was to kill the Spirit by lusting against it boasting in its own self-righteousness by works of law. The flesh does not compare itself with the Spirit it cannot, but it does compare itself against other flesh, beating it, punishing it, to prove its is superior or in a better position by works of law.

Matt.7:1 "Don't judge, so that you won't be judged.
7:2 For with whatever judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with whatever measure you measure, it will be measured to you. 7:3 Why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but don't consider the beam that is in your own eye? 7:4 Or how will you tell your brother, 'Let me remove the speck from your eye;' and behold, the beam is in your own eye? 7:5 You hypocrite! First remove the beam out of your own eye, and then you can see clearly to remove the speck out of your brother's eye.

Righteousness for those born again by Spirit comes from Christ and not works of law, and the only way a person can stay in Christ is by faith, that is, an ultimate trust no matter what evil comes out of our flesh or vessel made fit for destruction that God is a perfect Father whom only gives good gifts to his children.

James 1:4 Let endurance have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.
1:5 But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him.
1:6 But let him ask in faith, without any doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, driven by the wind and tossed.
1:7 For let that man not think that he will receive anything from the Lord.

1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow. 1:18 Of his own will he brought us forth by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of first fruits of his creatures. 1:19 So, then, my beloved brothers, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger;

Four Red Blood Moons!

****Rom.9:25 As he says also in Hosea, "I will call them 'my people,' which were not my people; and her 'beloved,' who was not beloved."{Hosea 2:23} 9:26 "It will be that in the place where it was said to them, 'You are not my people,' There they will be called 'children of the living God.'"{Hosea 1:10} 9:27 Isaiah cries concerning Israel, "If the number of the children of Israel are as the sand of the sea, it is the remnant who will be saved;

When it comes to the power of religion, and/or faith can there be anymore powerful force then physical worship of the Jews? Nothing upon earth has ever stirred up such profound emotions and feelings as has the power of Jewish faith.

Ephesians 3:16 that he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, that you may be strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inward man;

To date many religious people look to prophecy relating to the Jewish faith for the end of the world, and still in today's world Christian's stand in awe of the Jews and their worship. Subsequently, one must consider this power that the apostle Paul was addressing here in Roman's among those anointed ones by Holy Spirit, the appointed seed of righteousness for God's glory upon this earth. They process nothing physically, in the way of temple service, they had no earthly temple, and to top matters off, many of the early Christian's were out of the nations, forbidden by Jewish faith for them to worship in their temple in the holy place.

Heb. 6:1 Therefore leaving the doctrine of the first principles of Christ, let us press on to perfection--not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works, of faith toward God,
6:2 of the teaching of baptisms, of laying on of hands, of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.
6:3 This will we do, if God permits. 6:4 For concerning those who were once enlightened and tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Spirit, 6:5 and tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the age to come, 6:6 and then fell away, it is impossible to renew them again to repentance; seeing they crucify the Son of God for themselves again, and put him to open shame.

2 Corinthians 13:4 For he was crucified through weakness, yet he lives through the power of God. For we also are weak in him, but we will live with him through the power of God toward you.

Galatians 4:9 But now that you have come to know God, or rather to be known by God, why do you turn back again to the weak and miserable elemental principles, to which you desire to be in bondage all over again?

The alluring power of the Jewish faith was deeply and profoundly effecting the thinking of God's anointed. The Holy Spirit had acted upon each child of God, let us call to mind, not by human reasoning, but free from any corrupt teaching of man and his religion. The Holy Spirit anointed, and gave them the mind of Christ no matter if they were Jew or Gentle setting them free from sin, declaring them righteous indwelling them with Christ eternal life with a down payment of the Spirit sealed in their hearts.

Hebrews 7:16 who has been made, not after the law of a fleshly commandment, but after the power of an endless life:

Hebrews 2:14 Since then the children have shared in flesh and blood, he also himself in like manner partook of the same, that through death he might bring to nothing him who had the power of death, that is, the devil.

Hebrews 1:3 His Son is the radiance of his glory, the very image of his substance, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself made purification for our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high.

Ephesians 3:20 Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,

Still the power of fleshly worship defiled many of their minds with wanting the laws and rules of fleshly Israel in the truth. Yes, in the “truth” Christ Jesus, the person giving them his righteousness so they were no longer condemned by laws righteousness towards their flesh. Forgetting the very power of the kingdom which had delivered them from darkness into the wonderful light of God's love.

1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ, his Son, cleanses us from all sin.

1 Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God's own possession, that you may proclaim the excellence of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light:

Christ the truth completed the law, it was fulfilled in Christ, who is the truth, now they, and us, must walk in truth to please the Father they must stay in Christ the truth by faith, they no longer worshiped in the flesh and its connection to the power of the Jewish faith. No! They worshiped in Spirit and truth. They were dead to the law of the Jews, they had been delivered from it by the power of Christ indestructible life which was their righteousness.

1Cor.1:29 that no flesh should boast before God. 1:30 But of him, you are in Christ Jesus, who was made to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption: 1:31 that, according as it is written, "He who boasts, let him boast in the Lord."{Jeremiah 9:24}

1 Peter 2:24 who his own self bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness; by whose stripes you were healed.

Titus 3:5 not by works of righteousness, which we did ourselves, but according to his mercy, he saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit.

Philippians 3:9 and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own, that which is of the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith;

The power of the flesh is law, righteous laws that was striking fear into those newly converted children of God giving them a spirit of cowardice, not the power of Christ life indwelling them, with the power of truth and love. God had made them into a powerful seed of God's righteousness in all the earth, not the Jewish faith. Now all could worship the Father in peace, in faith, and love. by the life of Christ working through them in Spirit and truth; Christ had cut short the righteousness of the temple worship upon earth in mere three and half years.

2Cor.3:7 But if the service of death, written engraved on stones, came with glory, so that the children of Israel could not look steadfastly on the face of Moses for the glory of his face; which was passing away: 3:8 won't service of the Spirit be with much more glory? 3:9 For if the service of condemnation has glory, the service of righteousness exceeds much more in glory.

Amazing the power of the new heavens where righteousness dwells! Think! Thousand's of years of wars, violence, and acts of courage by men of faith completed by heaven in just three and half years!

2Cor.3:11 For if that which passes away was with glory, much more that which remains is in glory. 3:12 Having therefore such a hope, we use great boldness of speech, 3:13 and not as Moses, who put a veil on his face, that the children of Israel wouldn't look steadfastly on the end of that which was passing away. 3:14 But their minds were hardened, for until this very day at the reading of the old covenant the same veil remains, because in Christ it passes away.
3:15 But to this day, when Moses is read, a veil lies on their heart.
3:16 But whenever one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away.
3:17 Now the Lord is the Spirit and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. 3:18 But we all, with unveiled face beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as from the Lord, the Spirit.

What power and love God has for his seed of righteousness planted by his own hand, but the question was, and still is for God's anointed? Would those newly converted Christian's embraces the glorious freedom of the son's of God, or turn back to the weak and beggarly things of mundane worship found in the Jewish faith?

Hebrews 7:19 (for the law made nothing perfect), and a bringing in of a better hope, through which we draw near to God.

Hebrews 8:6 But now he has obtained a more excellent ministry, by so much as he is also the mediator of a better covenant, which on better promises has been given as law.

Hebrews 10:1 For the law, having a shadow of the good to come, not the very image of the things, can never with the same sacrifices year by year, which they offer continually, make perfect those who draw near.

James 1:25 But he who looks into the perfect law of freedom, and continues, not being a hearer who forgets, but a doer of the work, this man will be blessed in what he does.

2 Thessalonians 2:2 not to be quickly shaken in your mind, nor yet be troubled, either by spirit, or by word, or by letter as from us, saying that the day of Christ had come.

Hebrews 12:27 This phrase, "Yet once more," signifies the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that have been made, that those things which are not shaken may remain.

Hebrews 12:28 Therefore, receiving a Kingdom that can't be shaken, let us have grace, through which we serve God acceptably, with reverence and awe.

We Would Have Become Like Sodom and Gomorrah!

****Rom.9:28 for He will finish the work and cut it short in righteousness, because the LORD will make a short work upon the earth."{Isaiah 10:22-23} 9:29 As Isaiah has said before, "Unless the Lord of Armies{Greek: Sabaoth (for Hebrew: Tze'va'ot)} had left us a seed, we would have become like Sodom, and would have been made like Gomorrah."{Isaiah 1:9}

Many have misapplied the apostle Paul's words here by applying them to a great tribulation in the last days of our own world, but they are wrong. Paul is speaking in context to his conversation in this chapter of Roman's about how the Gentles came to righteousness, and how Israel did not. The seed left over, that is, a remnant of Jews were anointed and accept Christ by faith.

Romans 1:17 For in it is revealed God's righteousness from faith to faith. As it is written, "But the righteous shall live by faith."{Habakkuk 2:4}

This seed, notice one seed, is Christ righteousness indwelling the children of God, by Holy Spirit. The cutting short of those days, was in the fulfillment of a ancient prophecy of the book of Daniel regarding sixty two weeks, and the Christ beginning cut off in the middle of the week. A great tribulation did occur upon Israel in 70CE destroying the temple essentially ending the faith of Jews as God's chosen people.

Daniel 9:26 After the sixty-two weeks the Anointed One{"Anointed One" can also be translated "Messiah" (same as "Christ").} shall be cut off, and shall have nothing: and the people of the prince who shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and its end shall be with a flood, and even to the end shall be war; desolations are determined.

Daniel 9:27 He shall make a firm covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the offering to cease; and on the wing of abominations [shall come] one who makes desolate; and even to the full end, and that determined, shall [wrath] be poured out on the desolate.

The point overlooked by many how did Israel seed keep us, and them from becoming like Sodom Gomorrah? This part of the conversation is vital to the whole of the book of Roman's and what is that? Simply put, the righteousness that Israel was pursuing could not be gained by laws, and/or works of law. Subsequently, the nation became more corrupted into sin. They had a zeal for law, God's law but not according to knowledge of truth, and Spirit.

Romans 10:2 For I testify about them that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge.

John 4:21 Jesus said to her, "Woman, believe me, the hour comes, when neither in this mountain, nor in Jerusalem, will you worship the Father. 4:22 You worship that which you don't know. We worship that which we know; for salvation is from the Jews.
4:23 But the hour comes, and now is, when the true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father seeks such to be his worshippers. 4:24 God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth."

The fleshly mind of Jews and Gentle alike were being infected with the very yeast that the Jews stumble into by works of law. Yes, that is the point of the book of Roman's, were did their righteousness actually come from? All that do not have remission of sin, that is, those of this world are Sodom and Gomorrah, they are idolaters seeking eternal life by self-rightness. God children born of Spirit are the only ones on earth indwelt with Christ righteousness, if they fail to teach and preach undeserved kindness, that is, freedom from judgment of the flesh in Christ righteousness there is no other place to go to learn it.

1Cor.3:11 For no one can lay any other foundation than that which has been laid, which is Jesus Christ.
3:12 But if anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay, or stubble;
3:13 each man's work will be revealed. For the Day will declare it, because it is revealed in fire; and the fire itself will test what sort of work each man's work is.
3:14 If any man's work remains which he built on it, he will receive a reward.
.3:15 If any man's work is burned, he will suffer loss, but he himself will be saved, but as through fire.
3:16 Don't you know that you are a temple of God, and that God's Spirit lives in you? 3:17 If anyone destroys the temple of God, God will destroy him; for God's temple is holy, which you are.
3:18 Let no one deceive himself. If anyone thinks that he is wise among you in this world, let him become a fool, that he may become wise.

They are the seed, one seed of righteousness this is the critical point those anointed were missing at Paul's time. The laws power is sin, they did not get that, and most today don't understand how the power of the law is sin? Now listen the power of the law was not righteousness, does that shock you? The law was righteous, and perfect, but when applied to sinner it only condemned them causing more sin to flourish. In other words, it did not remove sin, or make the sinner righteous it did the exact opposite it pointed out sin, and exposed all of us to being unworthy deserving death by God's righteous law, because we could not keep the righteousness of the law.

1 Corinthians 15:56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.

Rom. 7:13 Did then that which is good become death to me? May it never be! But sin, that it might be shown to be sin, by working death to me through that which is good; that through the commandment sin might become exceeding sinful. 7:14 For we know that the law is spiritual, but I am fleshly, sold under sin. 7:15 For I don't know what I am doing. For I don't practice what I desire to do; but what I hate, that I do. 7:16 But if what I don't desire, that I do, I consent to the law that it is good. 7:17 So now it is no more I that do it, but sin which dwells in me. 7:18 For I know that in me, that is, in my flesh, dwells no good thing. For desire is present with me, but I don't find it doing that which is good. 7:19 For the good which I desire, I don't do; but the evil which I don't desire, that I practice.
7:20 But if what I don't desire, that I do, it is no more I that do it, but sin which dwells in me.

When flesh is planted it grows more flesh, when corn is planted it grows more corn. Righteousness was not being planted in Israel by the law, sin being exposed is what was planted, causing an unobtainable situation which would cause them to become Sodom and Gomorrah. Faith was the only answer, the faith Israel rejected for self-merit by works of law, faith in what? The blood upon the altar which made them right with God, and/or righteous before God by redemption, payment, of their sins. Sober up that the laws righteousness judged them as unrighteous, Christ did not if they accept Christ righteousness by faith!

Galatians 6:8 For he who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption. But he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.

Galatians 2:16 yet knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, even we believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ, and not by the works of the law, because no flesh will be justified by the works of the law.

Christ became Israel pass-over lamb, but Israel rejected the lamb of God killing him. Only a remnant was left over of true Israel by faith like Abraham. They accept their sins as unrighteous, and did not thinking they could be made righteous by the laws. They accepted what was unmerited kindness given them freely through no works of their own, but rather Christ Jesus works which were righteous as a gift of God's love.

Titus 3:5 not by works of righteousness, which we did ourselves, but according to his mercy, he saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit.

Philippians 3:9 and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own, that which is of the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith;

1 Corinthians 1:30 But of him, you are in Christ Jesus, who was made to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption:

If spiritual Israel went back to works of law, the restrain and the power of Christ would be removed for self-rightness just as Israel practice and failed in. However, if that seed, was in Christ, that is, in his righteousness many could be saved through true righteousness, Christ Jesus, which his righteousness is eternal life; Israel could not obtain to by works of law. Spiritual Israel the true Israel of God, should be a mediator of a new covenant given them by Christ righteousness, and not the law. If they fail at their minister qualified by Holy Spirit the nation become Sodom and Gomorrah. Those are fact why we have a world of false religion, and God's wheat are in a field of weed[ spiritual Israel did fail, like physical Israel preaching another good news, one not by faith, but laws for self-rightness.

2 Thessalonians 2:7 For the mystery of lawlessness already works. Only there is one who restrains now, until he is taken out of the way.

1 John 3:4 Everyone who sins also commits lawlessness. Sin is lawlessness.

Matthew 13:38 the field is the world; and the good seed, these are the children of the Kingdom; and the darnel weeds are the children of the evil one.

Matthew 13:40 As therefore the darnel weeds are gathered up and burned with fire; so will it be at the end of this age.

1 John 3:5 You know that he was revealed to take away our sins, and in him is no sin.

1 John 3:6 Whoever remains in him doesn't sin. Whoever sins hasn't seen him, neither knows him.

However, we can rest assured that God will clear his name, before all the nations, resurrecting spiritually his remnant at Christ coming, with the holy angels removing the weeds from the wheat because of his name sake!

Ezekiel 20:39 As for you, house of Israel, thus says the Lord Yahweh: Go you, serve everyone his idols, and hereafter also, if you will not listen to me; but my holy name you shall no more profane with your gifts, and with your idols.

Ezekiel 36:22 Therefore tell the house of Israel, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: I don't do [this] for your sake, house of Israel, but for my holy name, which you have profaned among the nations, where you went.

Ezekiel 36:23 I will sanctify my great name, which has been profaned among the nations, which you have profaned in the midst of them; and the nations shall know that I am Yahweh, says the Lord Yahweh, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes.

Rock of Offense!

Rock of Offense!

****Rom.9:31 but Israel, following after a law of righteousness, didn't arrive at the law of righteousness. 9:32 Why? Because they didn't seek it by faith, but as it were by works of the law. They stumbled over the stumbling stone; 9:33 even as it is written, "Behold, I lay in Zion a stumbling stone and a rock of offense; and no one who believes in him will be disappointed."{Isaiah 8:14; 28:16}

Indeed, how offensive to those Jews who must put faith in “a man righteousness” instead of the laws righteousness? Now we Christian's two thousand's years removed from the legislating and inculcating of the law for thousand's of years, can easily think how stupid the Jewish were for rejecting Christ?

Romans 6:19 I speak in human terms because of the weakness of your flesh, for as you presented your members as servants to uncleanness and to wickedness upon wickedness, even so now present your members as servants to righteousness for sanctification.

But at the same time most Christian's put faith in their religion over the least of Christ brothers thinking the power and righteousness has to be in an organization of religious people, correct? Now we are not saying that one should elevate or put one of Christ brothers in Christ position and place faith in them instead of Christ Jesus. What we are doing is making a powerful point that Paul made to those anointed Christian's wanting to go back to power of laws righteousness found in a religion the Jewish faith, which of course was far easier than putting faith in the unseen Christ seated above.

1 Corinthians 1:30 But of him, you are in Christ Jesus, who was made to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption:

The righteousness of the law, did not bring any Jew, and certainly not a Gentle to righteousness, do you know why? First. Let us ask, was the law righteous? Yes, but did the law make a person righteous? No it did not! It proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that all men were sinner and unrighteous. The law could not make a person righteous, simple fundamental truth. Yet, generation after generation of Jews, taught and believed keeping the law made them righteous, how? By their own good efforts in keeping the law. “Thou shall commit adultery”; this is a wonderful truth, an absolute fact, and something each person loving God wants not to do!

2 Corinthians 5:21 For him who knew no sin he made to be sin on our behalf; so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

Galatians 2:21 I don't make void the grace of God. For if righteousness is through the law, then Christ died for nothing!"

Galatians 3:21 Is the law then against the promises of God? Certainly not! For if there had been a law given which could make alive, most certainly righteousness would have been of the law.

Hebrews 5:13 For everyone who lives on milk is not experienced in the word of righteousness, for he is a baby.

Christ the truth of God, came to teach us the truth of God, he never lied or was deception found in his mouth. He stated that any person that looks at the opposite sex with lust has committed adultery. No person as an adult has not sinned in this manner. The punishment? Death under the law, what?

James 1:20 for the anger of man doesn't produce the righteousness of God.
John 8:5 Now in our law, Moses commanded us to stone such.{Leviticus 20:10; Deuteronomy 22:22} What then do you say about her?"

John 8:7 But when they continued asking him, he looked up and said to them, "He who is without sin among you, let him throw the first stone at her."

Matt.5:20 For I tell you that unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, there is no way you will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven.

Matt. 5:27 "You have heard that it was said, {TR adds "to the ancients,"} 'You shall not commit adultery;'{Exodus 20:14}
5:28 but I tell you that everyone who gazes at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart.

Was trying to be righteous enough? Is our good motivate enough to keep us from receiving the death penalty for sinning in this manner? Can we go to religious meeting more, perform more good works to compensated for committing adultery in our hearts? No!, and No! This is why the Jews stumbled over Christ he was offensive to them because he told them truth of our hearts.

John 11:10 But if a man walks in the night, he stumbles, because the light isn't in him."

John 3:21 But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his works may be revealed, that they have been done in God."

1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ, his Son, cleanses us from all sin.

Ephesians 5:8 For you were once darkness, but are now light in the Lord. Walk as children of light,

The law declared no one righteous, no, not one. It shut the mouth of every self-righteous person, declaring God righteous. It left us hopeless without God provision for mercy, and what is that? It is the blood upon the altar, there is where God's righteousness is found for mankind, not in themselves, or trying to keep a law that condemns all of us as a sinner in our hearts proving we cannot live up to the laws righteousness.

Romans 3:19 Now we know that whatever things the law says, it speaks to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be closed, and all the world may be brought under the judgment of God.

Romans 10:9 that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

Romans 1:17 For in it is revealed God's righteousness from faith to faith. As it is written, "But the righteous shall live by faith."{Habakkuk 2:4}

Romans 3:10 As it is written, "There is no one righteous; no, not one.

Hebrews 7:16 who has been made, not after the law of a fleshly commandment, but after the power of an endless life:

Hebrews 7:19 (for the law made nothing perfect), and a bringing in of a better hope, through which we draw near to God.

But law is powerful, and when put into man's hands with educations, position of power it makes the blood look puny and weak. Thus, the Jews stumbled over the Christ righteous, not his teaching, not his looks, but that they would have to put faith in his righteous blood to the exclusion of the law to receive eternal life from the Father; rejecting man's righteous through works of law. Today we find many holding up religion as righteous, but that is false it is the same mistake the Jews practiced. For a Christian's there is not many righteousness, there is only one, the Christ, God's passover lamb. His blood alone saves us. However, it is interesting that God would make his final judgment upon how we treated the least one of Christ brothers. Many claim to be Christ brothers through the righteousness of religion, like the Jews. But according to the word of God no one knew who Christ brothers were, not the sheep or the goats. None could see Christ righteousness in them because they were looking to works of law for proof of God's righteousness.

1 John 4:5 They are of the world. Therefore they speak of the world, and the world hears them.

John 1:10 He was in the world, and the world was made through him, and the world didn't recognize him.
'
Matt.25:31 "But when the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then he will sit on the throne of his glory. 25:32 Before him all the nations will be gathered, and he will separate them one from another, as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 25:33 He will set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. 25:34 Then the King will tell those on his right hand, 'Come, blessed of my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world; 25:35 for I was hungry, and you gave me food to eat. I was thirsty, and you gave me drink. I was a stranger, and you took me in. 25:36 I was naked, and you clothed me. I was sick, and you visited me. I was in prison, and you came to me.' 25:37 "Then the righteous will answer him, saying, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry, and feed you; or thirsty, and give you a drink? 25:38 When did we see you as a stranger, and take you in; or naked, and clothe you? 25:39 When did we see you sick, or in prison, and come to you?' 25:40 "The King will answer them, 'Most certainly I tell you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers{The word for "brothers" here may be also correctly translated "brothers and sisters" or "siblings."}, you did it to me.'
25:41 Then he will say also to those on the left hand, 'Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire which is prepared for the devil and his angels; 25:42 for I was hungry, and you didn't give me food to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave me no drink; 25:43 I was a stranger, and you didn't take me in; naked, and you didn't clothe me; sick, and in prison, and you didn't visit me.' 25:44 "Then they will also answer, saying, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and didn't help you?' 25:45 "Then he will answer them, saying, 'Most certainly I tell you, inasmuch as you didn't do it to one of the least of these, you didn't do it to me.' 25:46 These will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life."
