The book of Matthew

Chapter 15

15:1 Then Pharisees and scribes came to Jesus from Jerusalem, saying, 15:2 "Why do your disciples disobey the tradition of the elders? For they don't wash their hands when they eat bread."

Where did a Jews righteousness come from? This is the most fundamental teaching of Jewism and Christianity was it from following the tradition of the elders? No! A Jew could not stand righteous before God YHWH without blood. Stop! Now really think, without blood of an innocent victim (an animal in this case) there was no righteousness for any Jew small or great!

Hebrews 10:29 How much worse punishment, do you think, will he be judged worthy of, who has trodden under foot the Son of God, and has counted the blood of the covenant with which he was sanctified an unholy thing, and has insulted the Spirit of grace?

Hebrews 9:22 According to the law, nearly everything is cleansed with blood, and apart from shedding of blood there is no remission.

How than had these Jews come to believe righteousness came from some act they did by washing their hands? Moreover, why were they so offended when all stood righteous by the same blood in Israel small and great? This point cannot go unchecked by Christian''s either because once they go beyond the blood of Christ into acts they do as being their righteousness they are in false religion!

Ephesians 2:13 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off are made near in the blood of Christ.

Romans 5:9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we will be saved from God's wrath through him.

Yes! False religion there are thousand's of religion that put righteousness upon certain acts done in the name of their religion as self-righteousness. However, God righteousness for man comes from atonement and our putting faith in what God has given us to redeem us so we may stand right with him. Self-righteousness is where we make some action and/or speech more righteous than the blood of Christ. In other words, we are offend the person did not follow the rules of our religion, they didn't dress correct, speak correctly, follow the rules of our faith.

James 1:19 So, then, my beloved brothers, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger; 1:20 for the anger of man doesn't produce the righteousness of God. 1:21 Therefore, putting away all filthiness and overflowing of wickedness, receive with humility the implanted word, which is able to save your souls{or, preserve your life.}. 1:22 But be doers of the word, and not only hearers, deluding your own selves.

This conduct as these Pharisee judged evil so do Christian's thinking their own righteousness comes from some self-action in obeying some rule of their faith! Subsequently, rules work this way, if you judge in such a manner the unrighteousness of others by a rules than you have judged yourself by yet another rule you can't live up to and will need blood to forgive for not meeting it!

James 4:11 Don't speak against one another, brothers. He who speaks against a brother and judges his brother, speaks against the law and judges the law. But if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law, but a judge.

James 4:12 Only one is the lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy. But who are you to judge another?

James 5:9 Don't grumble, brothers, against one another, so that you won't be judged. Behold, the judge stands at the door.

Flesh, that is, humans under sin believe from birth that if they look, do, and act, or speak a certain way it cleans them of sin, and/or some transgression, but this has nothing to do with God at all. Justification means we justify ourselves by works we do, in speaking, acting, looking or doing a certain way condones or justify us, but our we walking in truth? What is truth? We are justified not by ourselves, but through righteous blood God provides for us freely through no good work we have done as a gift of his love. We act upon that undeserved gift and treat and judge others the way we have been treated by God, pretty simple stuff, if we love God for saving us from ourselves and our sins!

Ephesians 2:9 not of works, that no one would boast.

Romans 9:11 For being not yet born, neither having done anything good or bad, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him who calls.

1 Peter 3:21 This is a symbol of baptism, which now saves you--not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Matt.15:3 He answered them, "Why do you also disobey the commandment of God because of your tradition? 15:4 For God commanded, 'Honor your father and your mother,'{Exodus 20:12; Deuteronomy 5:16} and, 'He who speaks evil of father or mother, let him be put to death.'{Exodus 21:17; Leviticus 20:9} 15:5 But you say, 'Whoever may tell his father or his mother, "Whatever help you might otherwise have gotten from me is a gift devoted to God," 15:6 he shall not honor his father or mother.' You have made the commandment of God void because of your tradition.
15:7 You hypocrites! Well did Isaiah prophesy of you, saying,
15:8 'These people draw near to me with their mouth, and honor me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
15:9 And in vain do they worship me, teaching as doctrine rules made by men.'"{Isaiah 29:13}

Here Christ points to the core of all false religion, and what is that? Human justification for their action towards fellowman. Its that simply, the bible was not written to justify human under sin, it was written to sanctify God's name and remove the reproaches brought upon God's name by men under sin.

Haggai 2:12 'If someone carries holy meat in the fold of his garment, and with his fold touches bread, stew, wine, oil, or any food, will it become holy?'" The priests answered, "No."

In that process if a person repented and turn to God, God will forgiven them by the power of blood, that is, the remission of their sins by an innocent victim offered for the price of their transgression justifying them before God. The bible did not justify our sins, it condemns them leading us to repentance before God. False religion takes God's word using it to justify human conduct by making comparison towards others humans who all fall short of God's glory under sin, but claiming because a person sins supposedly is less they are righteous by their own action.

Romans 3:10 As it is written, "There is no one righteous; no, not one.

1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

The Pharisee used just such unrighteous legal logic, if they did good in their religion it exempted them from obeying the commandments to honor Father and Mother. They compared their good works against others unrighteous people bad works and came up with yet another false religious rule. First the Pharisee like so many in false religion missed the whole point of faith, which is, finding the truth about ourselves in comparison not to another person under sin, but to God, and/or Christ Jesus. That is the only truth that we can be justified in by the price God's pays for our lives.

2 Corinthians 10:12 For we are not bold to number or compare ourselves with some of those who commend themselves. But they themselves, measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves with themselves, are without understanding.

The blood states a witness against human justification, condemning human works of law for Christian's and/or Jews, declaring. There is no justification by our works, none, never! We are justified by Christ works, we are made righteous by Christ righteousness, and if we are his, then we do the works of his life, not our own.

Romans 4:4 Now to him who works, the reward is not counted as grace, but as debt.

Romans 11:6 And if by grace, then it is no longer of works; otherwise grace is no longer grace. But if it is of works, it is no longer grace; otherwise work is no longer work.

Galatians 2:16 yet knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, even we believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ, and not by the works of the law, because no flesh will be justified by the works of the law.

Subsequently, presenting God with a legal contract, that is, some religious doctrine is foolish something false religion used to justify sins against God's righteousness, by human comparison instead of comparing ourselves against the truth, which is, Christ Jesus, his life which no human on earth can redeem themselves or meet his level of perfection being born into sin.

1Cor.4:1 So let a man think of us as Christ's servants, and stewards of God's mysteries. 4:2 Here, moreover, it is required of stewards, that they be found faithful.
4:3 But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged by you, or by man's judgment. Yes, I don't judge my own self.
4:4 For I know nothing against myself. Yet I am not justified by this, but he who judges me is the Lord.
4:5 Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord comes, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and reveal the counsels of the hearts. Then each man will get his praise from God.

Sin cannot be redeemed by a good work, it factually paid for by God love, in giving us the price of life to purchase us, to justify us. False religion states don't honor your mother and father do good works for our group, judge your mother and father as unworthy of help and your good works will justify the breaking of the commandment. First, the person could not keep the commandments that the reason for blood, secondly, the person is deceived if they think they are righteous by keeping the commandments because they have forgotten their own cleansing by blood and not works of law. There is no excuse, there is only blood for sinners, the religion cannot supply blood to you, they can lie, and stealing it, then dole it out for payment of your time, effort, and money enriching the religion, but those works will not justify any human they are in vain doctrine of men.

1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ, his Son, cleanses us from all sin.

1 Peter 1:19 but with precious blood, as of a faultless and pure lamb, the blood of Christ;

1 Peter 3:21 This is a symbol of baptism, which now saves you--not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,

Matt.15:10 He summoned the multitude, and said to them, "Hear, and understand. 15:11 That which enters into the mouth doesn't defile the man; but that which proceeds out of the mouth, this defiles the man."

An angel on the outside but Oh so dirty on the inside! The entire faith of the Jews was religious cleanness, so powerful was being clean that it was forbidden in their law to even touch or taste certain things and food. This righteousness by cleanness escalated into fanaticism by Christ time!

James 3:8 But nobody can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison. 3:9 With it we bless our God and Father, and with it we curse men, who are made in the image of God. 3:10 Out of the same mouth comes forth blessing and cursing. My brothers, these things ought not to be so. 3:11 Does a spring send out from the same opening fresh and bitter water? 3:12 Can a fig tree, my brothers, yield olives, or a vine figs? Thus no spring yields both salt water and fresh water.

Worship of being holy and not unclean had become more important than worshiping God. Many times God's own prophets were put into a unclean circumstance such as Ezekiel, and even the apostle Peter whom had to eat thing unclean; unholy outlaw by God's righteous law, so God to make a point! But Christ left his disciples in no doubt as to what make a person truly unclean, it is their heart, what proceeds out of their mouth from their hearts defiles a person!

Act.10:9 Now on the next day as they were on their journey, and got close to the city, Peter went up on the housetop to pray at about noon. 10:10 He became hungry and desired to eat, but while they were preparing, he fell into a trance. 10:11 He saw heaven opened and a certain container descending to him, like a great sheet let down by four corners on the earth, 10:12 in which were all kinds of four-footed animals of the earth, wild animals, reptiles, and birds of the sky. 10:13 A voice came to him, "Rise, Peter, kill and eat!"
10:14 But Peter said, "Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten anything that is common or unclean." 10:15 A voice came to him again the second time, "What God has cleansed, you must not call unclean."

Here the Jews had forgotten the real cleansing from defilement of their hearts and what was that? Blood, they could not keep God's law by human righteousness, they could not stand perfect before God saying: “I have not sinned!” No! The very heart beating in their chest knew better than that, but were they lovers of all the truth, what truth? The truth of human failure under sin? Were they honest did they not know the defilement that is in all human hearts towards others, and even God, or were they self-righteous?

Matt.5:27 "You have heard that it was said, {TR adds "to the ancients,"} 'You shall not commit adultery;'{Exodus 20:14} 5:28 but I tell you that everyone who gazes at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart.

Did they hid behind religious cleanness think themselves better than others or did they examine the truth pounding in their chest the heart that looked at a woman in lust, the hate and jealousy that was hid from others with religious words to justify the evil in their hearts?

James 3:14 But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your heart, don't boast and don't lie against the truth. 3:15 This wisdom is not that which comes down from above, but is earthly, sensual, and demonic. 3:16 For where jealousy and selfish ambition are, there is confusion and every evil deed.

What defiles a person that is the question is it not? Do religious words make us clean? Does doing good religious works make us clean, does bathing our bodies ten times a day for God make us clean? The power of self-righteousness is how Satan mislead the world, and still does, many Christian's have fallen into the trap of self-righteous through works of law forgetting the truth of the scriptures which is, according to God we cannot put away the filth of our flesh, we must be atoned for by His Son's blood, and than request a clean conscience, not the putting away of the filth of the flesh which is impossible for a sinner because its not outside, or what goes inside, it is just as the Christ spoke, its what comes out of our hearts that defile us!

1 John 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

1 Peter 3:21 This is a symbol of baptism, which now saves you--not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Haggai 2:12 'If someone carries holy meat in the fold of his garment, and with his fold touches bread, stew, wine, oil, or any food, will it become holy?'" The priests answered, "No."

Matt.15:12 Then the disciples came, and said to him, "Do you know that the Pharisees were offended, when they heard this saying?" 15:13 But he answered, "Every plant which my heavenly Father didn't plant will be uprooted. 15:14 Leave them alone. They are blind guides of the blind. If the blind guide the blind, both will fall into a pit."

The stupid person is easily offended (flesh), what God plants will grow having certain success! The wicked think everything in God's word the bible depends upon them, and their wrangling with others about their teachings. However, the truth is nothing in God's word the bible depends upon them, nor can they change one thing in another human if God has not planted it for himself!

1Cor.3:1 Brothers, I couldn't speak to you as to spiritual, but as to fleshly, as to babies in Christ. 3:2 I fed you with milk, not with meat; for you weren't yet ready. Indeed, not even now are you ready, 3:3 for you are still fleshly. For insofar as there is jealousy, strife, and factions among you, aren't you fleshly, and don't you walk in the ways of men? 3:4 For when one says, "I follow Paul," and another, "I follow Apollos," aren't you fleshly? 3:5 Who then is Apollos, and who is Paul, but servants through whom you believed; and each as the Lord gave to him? 3:6 I planted. Apollos watered. But God gave the increase. 3:7 So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase.

Having a fleshly mind approach to God's word is like the world where a person gets it done from their own will and power, letting nothing rest until they succeed in conquering their enemies. How does one conquer the flesh for God when God is not dealing with it, but instead killing it for us because we cannot make it subject to his righteous law. Furthermore, we can put away the filth of our own flesh?

Rom.8:6 For the mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace; 8:7 because the mind of the flesh is hostile towards God; for it is not subject to God's law, neither indeed can it be. 8:8 Those who are in the flesh can't please God.

1 Peter 3:21 This is a symbol of baptism, which now saves you--not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Christ was not fighting with flesh and blood in speaking while the Pharisees were listening, Christ knew what many fleshly mind Christian's don't that you can't make a weed into a wheat for God by arguments over scriptures. Yes, the Pharisees were offended flesh is always offended over Spirit, it is the age old war starting in the Garden of Eden, no surprise! The flesh lust against the Spirit, and its works, its very nature is jealousy and hate. It attacks anything that does agree with its superior point of view, couple that with God's righteous word and you have a volatile cocktail!

Galatians 6:8 For he who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption. But he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.

Galatians 5:17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, that you may not do the things that you desire.

Galatians 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I that live, but Christ living in me. That life which I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself up for me.

Blindness is the flesh to the Spirit, the flesh judges evil motives to the Spirit of God, it must, and than it attacks out of fear. Fear is the lot of the flesh, because it has a mind of judgment, and to releave itself from fear of judgment, it seek wrong in others to redeem its own sinful action giving itself the reward of merit. Flesh must compare itself against flesh to gain merit, so it may boast in its action as better than its enemy. Whole empires of false religion have been built upon these fleshly wars having nothing to do with Christ, they are blind guides to the Spirit but masters at judging human weakness in the flesh for guilt and control of others lives.

Galatians 2:16 yet knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, even we believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ, and not by the works of the law, because no flesh will be justified by the works of the law.

Ephesians 6:12 For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.

Jesus was the truth, and lead by Spirit he knew that nothing his Father had planted would be uprooted by flesh, flesh is green grass that withers quickly under the power eternal word of God. Jesus knew the weeds would grow with the field of wheat, he would not live in fear one of his sheep would be lost, for they had been planted by God's hands, and his Father is the God of the living, why wast time using up precious pearls trying to save what God had not planted?

Matt.7:6 "Don't give that which is holy to the dogs, neither throw your pearls before the pigs, lest perhaps they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces. 7:7 "Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. 7:8 For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened.

1 Peter 1:5 who by the power of God are guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

2 Corinthians 4:7 But we have this treasure in clay vessels, that the exceeding greatness of the power may be of God, and not from ourselves.

Matt.15:15 Peter answered him, "Explain the parable to us."
15:16 So Jesus said, "Do you also still not understand?
15:17 Don't you understand that whatever goes into the mouth passes into the belly, and then out of the body? 15:18 But the things which proceed out of the mouth come out of the heart, and they defile the man. 15:19 For out of the heart come forth evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, sexual sins, thefts, false testimony, and blasphemies. 15:20 These are the things which defile the man; but to eat with unwashed hands doesn't defile the man."

Human identify with the flesh they put on a uniform and act the part. In other words, human think often that position, the thing they are driving makes them into a different person. In all societies throughout the history of the human race this is found to be true, accept at man creation where neither Adam or Eve had attire for the flesh to give them identity.

Genesis 2:25 They were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.

Revelation 16:15 "Behold, I come like a thief. Blessed is he who watches, and keeps his clothes, so that he doesn't walk naked, and they see his shame."

Revelation 17:16 The ten horns which you saw, and the beast, these will hate the prostitute, and will make her desolate, and will make her naked, and will eat her flesh, and will burn her utterly with fire.

Here the apostles of Christ thought they gained cleanness and identity of cleanness by what they did or did not put into their mouths, they like so many claiming to be Christian's put on an identity, by religious words, acts, gestures, speech, clothes, or where they worship, and so on. . .

Revelation 3:17 Because you say, 'I am rich, and have gotten riches, and have need of nothing;' and don't know that you are the wretched one, miserable, poor, blind, and naked;

Hebrews 4:13 There is no creature that is hidden from his sight, but all things are naked and laid open before the eyes of him with whom we have to do.

What is shocking to the flesh is one cannot make themselves clean before God by any action or reaction in their flesh. To put away the filth of ones flesh requires an act of God and not man! Once a sinner, that is, unclean there nothing man can do to make themselves a non-sinner, did you know that? No! One must be purchase, redeemed by God for a price to pay for their sins, by life, the source of life is in the blood.

1 Peter 3:21 This is a symbol of baptism, which now saves you--not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Revelation 12:11 They overcame him because of the Lamb's blood, and because of the word of their testimony. They didn't love their life, even to death.

Hebrews 9:22 According to the law, nearly everything is cleansed with blood, and apart from shedding of blood there is no remission.

False religion is about the flesh, the appearance is paramount to false religion, it is a competition of the flesh with flesh, whom can look and sound better in speech, appearance, power, wealth . . . But false religion will be found naked in God's judgment. Nothing clean comes from the sinful flesh that is life in the Spirit, the flesh has no purpose in Spirit and truth where the source of life is found without sin.

John 6:63 It is the spirit who gives life. The flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and are life.

Romans 8:6 For the mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace;

What is clean before God? It is a sinless person who stand in truth, like Adam and Eve without a pretense of cloth, without hidden agendas, but truth and Spirit. Can any of us say we are clean, we have made ourselves clean? Let us not boast in the flesh, but we do, lets us not judge unrighteously, but we do. Than let us walk in humility, knowing that even if our hearts condemn us God is greater than our hearts.

1 John 3:20 because if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all things.

Revelation 18:7 However much she glorified herself, and grew wanton, so much give her of torment and mourning. For she says in her heart, 'I sit a queen, and am no widow, and will in no way see mourning.'

Let us understand we have been paid for, by a precious holy, clean life, and which life has been given each of us by God's love freely so we can have a clean conscious. Let us not boast in works for they are of the flesh, let us boast in truth, the Christ, his works have saved us!

1 Peter 1:22 Seeing you have purified your souls in your obedience to the truth through the Spirit in sincere brotherly affection, love one another from the heart fervently:

James 1:26 If anyone among you thinks himself to be religious while he doesn't bridle his tongue, but deceives his heart, this man's religion is worthless.

Matt.15:21 Jesus went out from there, and withdrew into the region of Tyre and Sidon. 15:22 Behold, a Canaanite woman came out from those borders, and cried, saying, "Have mercy on me, Lord, you son of David! My daughter is severely demonized!"
15:23 But he answered her not a word. His disciples came and begged him, saying, "Send her away; for she cries after us." 15:24 But he answered, "I wasn't sent to anyone but the lost sheep of the house of Israel." 15:25 But she came and worshiped him, saying, "Lord, help me." 15:26 But he answered, "It is not appropriate to take the children's bread and throw it to the dogs."
15:27 But she said, "Yes, Lord, but even the dogs eat the crumbs which fall from their masters' table." 15:28 Then Jesus answered her, "Woman, great is your faith! Be it done to you even as you desire." And her daughter was healed from that hour.

To be divided off, put into a class of people that is hated is the way of this world. Here Jesus does something only a person understanding God's love could do? Christ acts outside of what God sent him to do, because of the power of faith! Without faith God cannot be pleased, the story of all the bible, and the story of Israel. The entire nation of Israel stood on one man's faith Abraham.

Romans 1:17 For in it is revealed God's righteousness from faith to faith. As it is written, "But the righteous shall live by faith."{Habakkuk 2:4}

Abraham went against moral laws to please God. Yes, he offered his own son's life, willingly, and as good as did offer him up, until God stop his hand from cutting his son's throat! Such a faith was beyond this world, all its laws, all its common sense, everything man considers righteous and good about God.

Romans 4:16 For this cause it is of faith, that it may be according to grace, to the end that the promise may be sure to all the seed, not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all.

Here Christ himself acts out of faith, in not obeying his Fathers command to go only to Israel and no other people. Yet, Christ never sinned, he did perfectly out of faith his Fathers will. Do we do the right thing? Do we act towards those rejected by this world because of God's love no matter what its cost us? Do we go beyond into faith into a God of perfect love, willing to lose this life, to associated and be with God in the next?

1 Corinthians 2:5 that your faith wouldn't stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

We find Christ later states that one little act of kindness, from faith, from the heart is why the sheep are allowed into his Kingdom. Strange that neither the sheep or goats knew when they had done good to Christ brothers? You see, it was not a matter of appearance or acceptance by man's judgment, never has God based his approval upon man's judgment it has always been a matter of love, a spiritual matter unseen by human eyes and their judgment that has pleased our heavenly Father.

Galatians 5:6 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision amounts to anything, nor uncircumcision, but faith working through love.

Hebrews 11:3 By faith, we understand that the universe has been framed by the word of God, so that what is seen has not been made out of things which are visible.

James 2:1 My brothers, don't hold the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ of glory with partiality.

James 2:5 Listen, my beloved brothers. Didn't God choose those who are poor in this world to be rich in faith, and heirs of the Kingdom which he promised to those who love him?

Daily Bible Thought: Finding Loaves in the Desert?

Matt.15:29 Jesus departed there, and came near to the sea of Galilee; and he went up into the mountain, and sat there.
15:30 Great multitudes came to him, having with them the lame, blind, mute, maimed, and many others, and they put them down at his feet. He healed them, 15:31 so that the multitude wondered when they saw the mute speaking, injured whole, lame walking, and blind seeing--and they glorified the God of Israel. 15:32 Jesus summoned his disciples and said, "I have compassion on the multitude, because they continue with me now three days and have nothing to eat. I don't want to send them away fasting, or they might faint on the way."
15:33 The disciples said to him, "Where should we get so many loaves in a deserted place as to satisfy so great a multitude?" 15:34 Jesus said to them, "How many loaves do you have?" They said, "Seven, and a few small fish." 15:35 He commanded the multitude to sit down on the ground; 15:36 and he took the seven loaves and the fish. He gave thanks and broke them, and gave to the disciples, and the disciples to the multitudes. 15:37 They all ate, and were filled. They took up seven baskets full of the broken pieces that were left over. 15:38 Those who ate were four thousand men, besides women and children. 15:39 Then he sent away the multitudes, got into the boat, and came into the borders of Magdala.

The things from below are the things of man mixed often into the word of God, but they are not miraculous from above! Jesus did all things perfectly, his every action and word brought glory not to the flesh, but to the glory of his Father in heaven YHWH.

Luke 19:38 saying, "Blessed is the King who comes in the name of the Lord!{Psalm 118:26} Peace in heaven, and glory in the highest!"

Luke 21:27 Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

John 1:14 The Word became flesh, and lived among us. We saw his glory, such glory as of the one and only Son of the Father, full of grace and truth.

John 5:41 I don't receive glory from men.

John 5:44 How can you believe, who receive glory from one another, and you don't seek the glory that comes from the only God?

John 7:18 He who speaks from himself seeks his own glory, but he who seeks the glory of him who sent him is true, and no unrighteousness is in him.

John 8:50 But I don't seek my own glory. There is one who seeks and judges.

Many are confused today with religions, they do many fine works in feeding the poor, some even using Christ example here, but then, and as always, the corruption from below filter into the work causing pain, suffering, and disappointment for the faith of others. It is as if the good, and then comes the evil mixed tightly together, like picking fruit from a thorn bush, like light always varying into shadows from good to bad. But have you notice when Christ performs a work for his Father there was only good, and the good lasted forever?

James 1:16 Don't be deceived, my beloved brothers.
1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow. 1:18 Of his own will he brought us forth by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of first fruits of his creatures.

Matt. 7:17 Even so, every good tree produces good fruit; but the corrupt tree produces evil fruit. 7:18 A good tree can't produce evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree produce good fruit.

But do you know why? Well, here is the story of the whole book of God to mankind, the bible, man has fallen into corruption, his corruption is death. It not only leads us into death eventually, but what we produce from our state of sin has good and bad in it, which is death to God's, who is the God of living, and not the dead. So when God says he is faithful and true, he is stating to us that he is life. In other words, he does not take corruption of mankind sin and make it better, or use part of human corruption having both good and evil in it. No! God make something new, he is the creator, he makes all things new for those loving him. Just as Christ did not tell his disciples; “ go buy food from the store and make some food for those that I am teaching”.

1 Corinthians 5:7 Purge out the old yeast, that you may be a new lump, even as you are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, has been sacrificed in our place.

Revelation 21:5 He who sits on the throne said, "Behold, I am making all things new." He said, "Write, for these words of God are faithful and true."

Jesus did like just as his Father did in the wilderness, he made food from heaven, new, fresh, giving glory to God, no glory could go to mankind's efforts, but to you understand why? The why is that God has promise us he is making all things new, a new heavens, and a new earth. Now stop, and please think, what is mankind efforts doing through religion?

2 Peter 3:13 But, according to his promise, we look for new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness dwells.

Luke 5:37 No one puts new wine into old wineskins, or else the new wine will burst the skins, and it will be spilled, and the skins will be destroyed.

Matthew 13:33 He spoke another parable to them. "The Kingdom of Heaven is like yeast, which a woman took, and hid in three measures{literally, three sata. 3 sata is about 39 litres or a bit more than a bushel} of meal, until it was all leavened."

If you can be truthful with that question and see the fruit on the tree, and note how it only ends up in the same old, same old of corruption causing hurt and pain for those putting their trust and faith into man, than you have found the truth. Life cannot come to us by human efforts, let no one fool you! Life must come from above by God's efforts, as a gift to us like bread from heaven, what we eat must be without pollution of man's efforts under sin, free of yeast. We must be like Christ, and give only glory to God, or it is a mixture of good and evil the fruit of the corrupted fleshly mind.

Galatians 6:8 For he who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption. But he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.

1 Corinthians 15:50 Now I say this, brothers,{The word for "brothers" here and where context allows may also be correctly translated "brothers and sisters" or "siblings."} that flesh and blood can't inherit the Kingdom of God; neither does corruption inherit incorruption.

John 6:51 I am the living bread which came down out of heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever. Yes, the bread which I will give for the life of the world is my flesh."

1 Corinthians 11:28 But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of the bread, and drink of the cup.
