Terrifying Works

James 2:18 Yes, a man will say, "You have faith, and I have works." Show me your faith without works, and I by my works will show you my faith. 2:19 You believe that God is one. You do well. The demons also believe, and shudder. 2:20 But do you want to know, vain man, that faith apart from works is dead?

These verses from the letter of James has enslaved millions into works of law of false religion. James words above strike fear, and terror into the hearts of many Jehovah's Witnesses, and ex-members alike! James words here are the touch stone for each members judgment used to determine if a group, and/or a person has the “truth” or is in false religion.

John 3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh. That which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

Not only them, but throughout the centuries since Christ the same verses have been used to enslave a person life by some group calling themselves the real faith upon earth. Let us not underplay the importance of the power of biblical words in building great empires of power, wealth, and position over mankind. Moreover, the power found in the scriptures are used to maintain a flow of wealth through control by such misapplication of God's word the bible.

John 14:12 Most certainly I tell you, he who believes in me, the works that I do, he will do also; and he will do greater works than these, because I am going to my Father.

God is One

Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don't walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.{NU omits "who don't walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit"}

First, lets take off our legal hats, that is, our fleshly mind which can only thinks in terms of laws of our flesh through judgments of our flesh in sin, and let us put on the mind of Christ, that is, if you believe, and if you have faith, in God's word the bible all if it in context; God here was speaking through James by Holy Spirit. James makes the point under Holy Spirit that God is one, but why is that thought essential to the type of works he later speak of for true Christian's?

Romans 12:5 so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.

When Christ was called good teacher he made a profound point, and what was that point? He stated emphatically that only one person was good, and that was his Father in heaven. Even the demon know this much, that is, all creation stems from one person good works, God's! Nothing came into existence without God's own good “works” first. Now the stage is set, whose works is James speaking to at this point? Conversely, what body is James speaking about, his, or the body of Christ, which he, and each member he was writing were apart of?

1 Corinthians 3:4 For when one says, "I follow Paul," and another, "I follow Apollos," aren't you fleshly?

One Seed Grows Into One Body Don't be Deceived

1 Corinthians 6:17 But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit.

Here is a fundamental truth for each Christian we should understand that a seed was planted by God's own good “works”, which is his son, Christ Jesus, that one good seed, not "many" seeds would grow into one tree with many branches all stemming from one root stock, and is depending upon the holy root stock for its life force. At the same time Satan planted his seed ( a corrupted evil seed), of the flesh based upon his own works of (death), and a lie, in stating his works are better than God's works, and would not being death.

1 Corinthians 8:6 yet to us there is one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we for him; and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and we live through him.

Satan tree grew into a world system of things controlled by works of the flesh, that is, works that are dead in Christ, works from death (all are dying and fail short of God's glory created in Adam all fail short of eternal life), but why are his works dead? All things outside of God's own good works are dead works (without life of God which is eternal). This is the simple truth of your bibles. Adam and Eve chose their own works from sin (evil which is death) instead of God's good works, and they died, their bodies died, because they lost the works of God which are life eternal by Spirit.

Titus 3:5 not by works of righteousness, which we did ourselves, but according to his mercy, he saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit,

Now we have a clear demarcation between man's works and God's works, they are, if you will, light and darkness. The real question James poses is, is the body of Christ dead to God's good works? That is the question James is asking here - to whom? God's anointed children, why? Because they are from the one seed, and instead of doing the life of the trees works as branches they were doing their own works from the fleshly mind's and its desires, like making money, building a religion, and/or the millions of other thing false Christian's do in the name of Christ. Moreover, they were preaching, and teaching these flesh works in the name of Christ (Christ who is God's truth) were living works of God, like Christ, his fruit which produce eternal life, calling light darkness and darkness light as part of God's temple!

Ephesians 1:11 in whom also we were assigned an inheritance, having been foreordained according to the purpose of him who works all things after the counsel of his will;

James. 4:1 Where do wars and fightings among you come from? Don't they come from your pleasures that war in your members? 4:2 You lust, and don't have. You kill, covet, and can't obtain. You fight and make war. You don't have, because you don't ask.
4:3 You ask, and don't receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it for your pleasures.

Who Decides the Works?

1 Corinthians 2:16 "For who has known the mind of the Lord, that he should instruct him?"{Isaiah 40:13} But we have Christ's mind.

Each anointed child of God has two minds in one vessel, although, one should be dead, it is most often access for decision making and than wrongly labeling its works as coming from Christ mind. This is point of the letter of James if one is honestly seeking the truth, and if they reads the whole letter they will find it's about two minds, two spirit indwelling us, which can make us a person double minded who receives nothing from God. One mind being the mind of our flesh dead in Christ, and the other mind of Christ and trying to mixing the two minds causing confusion and doubt, hence, false religion. (Two works ours and Christ which will be blessed of God?)

James.1:5 But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him. 1:6 But let him ask in faith, without any doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, driven by the wind and tossed.
1:7 For let that man not think that he will receive anything from the Lord. 1:8 He is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.

James goes to great length under the power of Holy Spirit to shock us back into the truth, which is, for us Christian's, the mind of Christ the we are in. When one see evil fruit from the flesh (on the tree, the person), don't lie against the truth in Christ whom cannot have evil fruit (on God's tree). When one uses their tongue from the fleshly mind slandering and calling down evil upon brothers and sisters don't uses God's righteous word as if we are doing God's work in making such judgments. When seeking riches, going on business ventures making long range plans to build a life on earth into the future, don't call such God's works, in Christ.

James. 3:8 But nobody can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison. 3:9 With it we bless our God and Father, and with it we curse men, who are made in the image of God.
3:10 Out of the same mouth comes forth blessing and cursing. My brothers, these things ought not to be so. 3:11 Does a spring send out from the same opening fresh and bitter water?
3:12 Can a fig tree, my brothers, yield olives, or a vine figs? Thus no spring yields both salt water and fresh water. 3:13 Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by his good conduct that his deeds are done in gentleness of wisdom. 3:14 But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your heart, don't boast and don't lie against the truth. 3:15 This wisdom is not that which comes down from above, but is earthly, sensual, and demonic.
3:16 For where jealousy and selfish ambition are, there is confusion and every evil deed.

James. 4:13 Come now, you who say, "Today or tomorrow let's go into this city, and spend a year there, trade, and make a profit."
4:14 Whereas you don't know what your life will be like tomorrow. For what is your life? For you are a vapor, that appears for a little time, and then vanishes away. 4:15 For you ought to say, "If the Lord wills, we will both live, and do this or that." 4:16 But now you glory in your boasting. All such boasting is evil. 4:17 To him therefore who knows to do good, and doesn't do it, to him it is sin.

This is the simple truth each Christian's should know from their acceptance of Christ and their anointing into the body of Christ which is; There is but one head on the body of Christ, which means, one driver, one will, one purpose, and subsequently, only his good works (fruit), not ours. That is the reason we cannot be saved by our own works. James is in no way teaching apostasy, by changing the entire truth found in our bibles in the Greek scriptures, hence, teaching us to go backwards into works of law instead of grace, and/or unmerited kindness, undeserved kindness!

John.15:1 "I am the true vine, and my Father is the farmer.
15:2 Every branch in me that doesn't bear fruit, he takes away. Every branch that bears fruit, he prunes, that it may bear more fruit. 15:3 You are already pruned clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. 15:4 Remain in me, and I in you. As the branch can't bear fruit by itself, unless it remains in the vine, so neither can you, unless you remain in me. 15:5 I am the vine. You are the branches. He who remains in me, and I in him, the same bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.

Works of God Contrasted by Works of the Flesh

Each Christian's delivered by Holy Spirit into the righteousness of Christ knows the power of God's Kingdom. The power of God is to delivered one out of this world's darkness, and its wisdom into the incorruptible life of his Son Christ Jesus. In that new life, they are freed from the corrupt mind of our flesh, then and only then we are doing the works of God; so what are God's works? Should a child of God need to even ask this question? Does the hand upon your own body ask what are the working of your body? How foolish! Yet, let us be clear here, this is power of Devil, and of our fleshly mind to deny the truth of God in confusion. The truth of God is the fruit of his personality, which is, the Holy Spirit fruit indwelling each child of God. The war is not against flesh and blood, but against spirit force in heavenly place, why?

Gal. 5:16 But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you won't fulfill the lust of the flesh. 5:17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, that you may not do the things that you desire. 5:18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. 5:19 Now the works of the flesh are obvious, which are: adultery, sexual immorality, uncleanness, lustfulness, 5:20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, strife, jealousies, outbursts of anger, rivalries, divisions, heresies,
5:21 envyings, murders, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these; of which I forewarn you, even as I also forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the Kingdom of God. 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith,{or, faithfulness} 5:23 gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law. 5:24 Those who belong to Christ have crucified the flesh with its passions and lusts. 5:25 If we live by the Spirit, let's also walk by the Spirit. 5:26 Let's not become conceited, provoking one another, and envying one another.

1 John 1:5 This is the message which we have heard from him and announce to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.

1 Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God's own possession, that you may proclaim the excellence of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light:

Because the flesh is dead to God, it has been dead since God judged it into death in the Garden of Eden, it is of no value in its thinking, works, or plans. This should not be a profound truth, it is the only truth for those claiming anointing from God and is the same truth found within all the Greek writings of the apostles. This is the lie the wicked spirit promote that we can as corrupted by sin living in death do good enough works to gain us eternal life, because we are created in God's imagine. That good comes from all of us sinner enough good works we can build merit for the next life making us deserving of life, a debt, and obligation for what we perform on earth for mankind through a religion, government, and/or business!

Romans 8:6 For the mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace;

Hence, a body that is dead, cannot produce the works of God. James is not saying that we individually we have good works, he is not saying that humans that are not in Christ, where God's works are found are a big tree of righteousness bearing good fruit separately from the body of Christ. Moreover, he not saying that the judgment of sin producing death in all human born of Adam can produce God's good works from eternal life, which lie has proven false for thousands of years by the death of every human since Adam!

Rom.7:18 For I know that in me, that is, in my flesh, dwells no good thing. For desire is present with me, but I don't find it doing that which is good.

No! He is rather stating the entire truth of God's word, which is, Adam lived by God's good works, Adam being indwelt with God, by Holy Spirit, it was only then he did the works of God, not after he sinned. Christ being indwelt with God by the Holy Spirit did God's works not his own. Now stop! Let us stop being offended, your body, that is, your fallen flesh is dead, and has nothing good dwells in its by its own power (fleshly will) to do the works of God, only one is good that is the giver of eternal life without the corruption of sin those are God's works, God's must be done by a sinless body, the Christ body, through the power of God's kingdom by His Holy Spirit, not the other way around.

John 5:36 But the testimony which I have is greater than that of John, for the works which the Father gave me to accomplish, the very works that I do, testify about me, that the Father has sent me.

2 Corinthians 5:15 He died for all, that those who live should no longer live to themselves, but to him who for their sakes died and rose again.

2 Corinthians 13:4 For he was crucified through weakness, yet he lives through the power of God. For we also are weak in him, but we will live with him through the power of God toward you.

Faith Apart From Works is Dead

So whose faith is James speaking to? Our faith separate from the body of Christ? Does a hand have a separate faith apart from the bodies head that its is attached to? How foolish is the wisdom of this world? No it does not! It is God's work though the faith in Christ given to each one of us by God, a measure, is what James speak to here, a gift! Once more, the entire letter of James is about our lust in our flesh, the spirit of our flesh, causing division in the one true faith, i.e., in the one body of Christ, created by God's Spirit, and then justifying those dead works from us, or self, which should be dead in Christ as being from God, then teaching that lie, the first lie that eternal life can come from human works.

James.1:13 Let no man say when he is tempted, "I am tempted by God," for God can't be tempted by evil, and he himself tempts no one. 1:14 But each one is tempted, when he is drawn away by his own lust, and enticed. 1:15 Then the lust, when it has conceived, bears sin; and the sin, when it is full grown, brings forth death. 1:16 Don't be deceived, my beloved brothers.
1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow. 1:18 Of his own will he brought us forth by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of first fruits of his creatures.
1:19 So, then, my beloved brothers, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger; 1:20 for the anger of man doesn't produce the righteousness of God. 1:21 Therefore, putting away all filthiness and overflowing of wickedness, receive with humility the implanted word, which is able to save your souls{or, preserve your life.}.

Rom.12:2 Don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God. 12:3 For I say, through the grace that was given me, to every man who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think reasonably, as God has apportioned to each person a “measure of faith”. 12:4 For even as we have many members in one body, and all the members don't have the same function, 12:5 so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.

Works of our old dead flesh do not enter into the body of Christ, or from our own will, our own plans, and our own thinking, are dead in Christ. We have become his, his life, by God giving us his life living through us for God's purposes (works fruit), not the other way around. This is not some intellectual argument, but instead its about real faith, Christ faith, given us by his direction so we can even believe, then for us to be slaves for rest of his body, as members upholding the works of the body of Christ while we ourselves are dependent upon his life force and body to do the works of God at his direction. One God, one Faith, in one body.

Romans 1:6 among whom you are also called to belong to Jesus Christ;

1 Peter 4:11 If anyone speaks, let it be as it were the very words of God. If anyone serves, let it be as of the strength which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.

1 Corinthians 4:7 For who makes you different? And what do you have that you didn't receive? But if you did receive it, why do you boast as if you had not received it?

None should be confused about this? That is, what the regeneration of Holy Spirit does which should be found in each child of God. We are not of this world, we are apart of a body located above this earth found in heaven ( the Christ), and under Christ direction to feed and cherish his body by Christ works from above by Holy Spirit, our letting God distribute faith by measure to each one of us; Christ faith, so we can believe the perfect will of God that he alone is the giver of good gifts through no works that we have done good or bad.

1 Corinthians 6:11 Such were some of you, but you were washed. But you were sanctified. But you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and in the Spirit of our God.

Titus 3:1 Remind them to be in subjection to rulers and to authorities, to be obedient, to be ready for every good work, 3:2 to speak evil of no one, not to be contentious, to be gentle, showing all humility toward all men. 3:3 For we were also once foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.
3:4 But when the kindness of God our Savior and his love toward mankind appeared, 3:5 not by works of righteousness, which we did ourselves, but according to his mercy, he saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit, 3:6 whom he poured out on us richly, through Jesus Christ our Savior; 3:7 that, being justified by his grace, we might be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

We must suffer and be tested in our flesh (as Christ our body/life was), which is, the enemy of God Spirit, but if we endure in faith, in Christ, we will received the crown of life. But if we claim that a dead body produces good works for God so we can justify our wants and needs to be a part of this worlds works we are a friend of this world, and an enemy of God. The proud God opposes, proud to God is anyone of us going against the head of the body we have been redeemed through, and delivered from darkness by the love of son's kingdom into the wonderful light.

1 Corinthians 11:3 But I would have you know that the head of every man is Christ, and the head of the woman is the man, and the head of Christ is God.

James 4:3 You ask, and don't receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it for your pleasures. 4:4 You adulterers and adulteresses, don't you know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. 4:5 Or do you think that the Scripture says in vain, "The Spirit who lives in us yearns jealously"? 4:6 But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, "God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble."{Proverbs 3:34} 4:7 Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 4:8 Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

That is, when we do the will of our fleshly mind, we must instead rest in the body we have been made a part of, just as our own hand must rest until direction comes to it from the head. We have been made apart of the great Sabbath day of God, Christ Jesus, we must rest from our own works, our own will of the fallen flesh. Conversely, our not resting from the works of our flesh in Christ is a great sin, and a self-effort, a self-work that causes God's wrath to come upon the haughty.

Heb. 4:1 Let us fear therefore, lest perhaps anyone of you should seem to have come short of a promise of entering into his rest. 4:2 For indeed we have had good news preached to us, even as they also did, but the word they heard didn't profit them, because it wasn't mixed with faith by those who heard. 4:3 For we who have believed do enter into that rest, even as he has said, "As I swore in my wrath, they will not enter into my rest;"{Psalm 95:11} although the works were finished from the foundation of the world. 4:4 For he has said this somewhere about the seventh day, "God rested on the seventh day from all his works;"{Genesis 2:2} 4:5 and in this place again, "They will not enter into my rest."{Psalm 95:11} 4:6 Seeing therefore it remains that some should enter therein, and they to whom the good news was before preached failed to enter in because of disobedience, 4:7 he again defines a certain day, today, saying through David so long a time afterward (just as has been said), "Today if you will hear his voice, don't harden your hearts."{Psalm 95:7-8} 4:8 For if Joshua had given them rest, he would not have spoken afterward of another day. 4:9 There remains therefore a Sabbath rest for the people of God.
4:10 For he who has entered into his rest has himself also rested from his works, as God did from his. 4:11 Let us therefore give diligence to enter into that rest, lest anyone fall after the same example of disobedience.

Conclusion

Is your flesh terrified when not doing enough good works for God in some religion? Than you are not in Christ, and doing his works, which, are the working of Holy Spirit in faith (peace not fear and confusion), that is, in trusting not in ourselves, but in Christ our heads goodness, and not our own (his merit his works not ours). If not we are in our flesh, the terrifying fear of the flesh is judgment which the demons fear also! However, the love of God is freedom from judgment, meaning freedom from the deserved judgment of our flesh set aside by Christ worth not our, because we are not earning our way into good standing with God through a our dead flesh judged as having no value at all in the works of God. We must consider ourselves dead to judgment of the flesh by faith, not of ourselves, but given us by Holy Spirit. This test goes directly against the power of flesh which is determine to judge us and others as no good, unworthy, and playing loose with God's righteousness.

1 John 4:17 In this love has been made perfect among us, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment, because as he is, even so are we in this world.

1 John 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear has punishment. He who fears is not made perfect in love.

1 John 4:19 We love Him, because he first loved us.

The fear not doing enough works and driving others to do more works, if you are honest believing nothing is good enough in our flesh to earn our way into God's favor should humble us. Now we are in truth ( in humility) the truth God's knows always about us, and in dealing with humans kindly; the same truth is found in the humble (Christ mind) that our God's loves. The humility of accepting this truth by unmerited kindness, this truth cannot be found in our flesh. It is however, found in the love of God whom gives us a free undeserved gift of his Son works. Life living in us and through us so we can stand before him in his love. We must understand the spirit of our flesh is judgment of our flesh which wars against the power of God's Spirit, which Spirit can only found in us by being in Christ by faith his, and not works of law.

Rom.9:8 That is, it is not the children of the flesh who are children of God, but the children of the promise are counted as a seed.
9:9 For this is a word of promise, "At the appointed time I will come, and Sarah will have a son."{Genesis 18:10,14}
9:10 Not only so, but Rebecca also conceived by one, by our father Isaac. 9:11 For being not yet born, neither having done anything good or bad, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him who calls, 9:12 it was said to her, "The elder will serve the younger."{Genesis 25:23}
9:13 Even as it is written, "Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated."{Malachi 1:2-3}

This acceptance is what dead works rejects from our old self. The (fleshly mind is hostile to this subject of grace, it rather proudly thinks it is good, and worthy, and a god. But such is the first lie. Only one is good, and that one is God YHWH. From him alone stems the works of life; the source of life, if we Christ his Son in us we have life the Father. But for us to know him, we must have a go between, a mediator for God, Christ Jesus. Now we are in his life, having eternal life, by faith, Christ faith, and God's works will flow through us in the fruit of Holy Spirit from above this is the complete context of the book of James which has been stolen by the fleshly weed Christian's, for control and power over all flesh in making it obey works by legal measures in the power of death in judging the flesh, and than labeling those dead works as God's works.

Romans 4:2 For if Abraham was justified by works, he has something to boast about, but not toward God.

Romans 4:4 Now to him who works, the reward is not counted as grace, but as debt.

Romans 4:6 Even as David also pronounces blessing on the man to whom God counts righteousness apart from works.

Romans 11:6 And if by grace, then it is no longer of works; otherwise grace is no longer grace. But if it is of works, it is no longer grace; otherwise work is no longer work.

Those children of God must listen to what the Spirit sealed in them tells them to do, not man, or any other fallen flesh using God's word, not unless God has through his Holy Spirit directed them to speak too us? If so, one must test which spirit it is, the spirit of the flesh pushing in competition, out fear, of judgment to prove itself right in its works justifying by God's word teh bible, or the Spirit of love of God which puts all fear outside, out into the darkness of the flesh Satan's world where such is practiced as a way of life?

1 Peter 4:12 Beloved, don't be astonished at the fiery trial which has come upon you, to test you, as though a strange thing happened to you.

1 John 4:1 Beloved, don't believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.

1 John 4:8 He who doesn't love doesn't know God, for God is love.

1 John 4:9 By this God's love was revealed in us, that God has sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.

To say Christ does not do good works of Holy Spirit, but uses works of law from are flesh is a lie, to stated that he does not produce good fruit on his tree through (Spirit) by his body members is a lie. Christ is the source of life from God's Spirit too us, it is impossible for him not to do good works (works of God) in us. Making such work an intellectual argument based upon works of law, from our fleshly legal mind, by laws of the flesh (death) is nothing but judgments of the dead, which are dead works not in Christ our life. Let us remember the same fallen flesh cannot know the working of God found in God's children those works are unseen by this world because of it fleshly dead judgments through wisdom of this world, which has blinded the minds of the unbelievers to the Spirit of God.

1 John 4:5 They are of the world. Therefore they speak of the world, and the world hears them.

1 John 5:19 We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies in the power of the evil one.

John 1:10 He was in the world, and the world was made through him, and the world didn't recognize him.

John 14:17 the Spirit of truth, whom the world can't receive; for it doesn't see him, neither knows him. You know him, for he lives with you, and will be in you.

Let us walk in love, God's love, found in Christ Jesus, for in him is all needs for spiritual life are found in the abundance of waters of life, flowing steams of living waters from his incorruptible tree of life, let give glory to the works of God through Christ our Lord, let us not boast in gifts, let us not boast than in our flesh.

John 4:10 Jesus answered her, "If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, 'Give me a drink,' you would have asked him, and he would have given you living water."
4:11 The woman said to him, "Sir, you have nothing to draw with, and the well is deep. From where then have you that living water?

Created in Christ Jesus for Good Works:

Eph.2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them.

Lets get the context of Paul's words above? God created in Christ Jesus His good works that we would walk in them. Now anyone of us reading these words written by Holy Spirit, not originating from Paul's own will, but the will of our Father might ask?

John 15:1 "I am the true vine, and my Father is the farmer.

James 5:7 Be patient therefore, brothers, until the coming of the Lord. Behold, the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient over it, until it receives the early and late rain.

How is it than so many in religion are telling God what his good works are, and then driving others to do those good works? Yes, it is as if nothing was prepared by God in Christ? Now think about that? YHWH the creator of the DNA who knows before we do good or bad in our mothers womb created Jesus for good works.

Rom.9:11 For being not yet born, neither having done anything good or bad, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him who calls.

We being made a part of him, his body, as members therein, not the head or the will of the body; so are we doing good works we think God may or may-not have created? Really this thinking is faithless, are we connect to Christ or not? Can a good tree produce evil fruits?

John.15:1 "I am the true vine, and my Father is the farmer.
15:2 Every branch in me that doesn't bear fruit, he takes away. Every branch that bears fruit, he prunes, that it may bear more fruit. 15:3 You are already pruned clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. 15:4 Remain in me, and I in you. As the branch can't bear fruit by itself, unless it remains in the vine, so neither can you, unless you remain in me.

Matt.7:17 Even so, every good tree produces good fruit; but the corrupt tree produces evil fruit. 7:18 A good tree can't produce evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree produce good fruit.

One cannot, lets say that one more time, cannot, we cannot be connected to a good tree and not produce good works. The problems is the flesh, what flesh determines which works are God's good works prepared literal found the of this world in Christ Jesus. The flesh must have forward progress seen by other human's to be satisfied, it equates God's good works using the world standards as God's own works. But herein is the problem, flesh cannot please God at all, neither can it know God, because God is Spirit and truth, and the flesh is neither, it is the lie!

Romans 8:7 because the mind of the flesh is hostile towards God; for it is not subject to God's law, neither indeed can it be.

Romans 8:8 Those who are in the flesh can't please God.

The weeds (flesh) steal the field of God planting claiming God's works are done in the flesh, works of law, God's planting which he prepared before the founding of our world are Spirit not flesh. Works created by Holy Spirit will have certain success they are planted by God's Spirit producing everlasting life, without sins of our flesh. God is the creator and builder not us, we are helpers if we walk in Spirit and truth, which imply not by flesh, but in Christ Jesus.

2 Corinthians 10:4 for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds.

2 Corinthians 5:16 Therefore we know no one after the flesh from now on. Even though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now we know him so no more.

The only way we can walk in Spirit and truth, isn't by driving our flesh into good works by religious commandments, but just the opposite resting in Christ as the good tree producing good works in us by his will. This than is the suffering in of our flesh, because the flesh is at war against those walking in faith, implying waiting, resting, on God's direction by Holy Spirit. Not doing the fears of our flesh in thinking we are earning rewards by works for everlasting life.

Galatians 2:16 yet knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, even we believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ, and not by the works of the law, because no flesh will be justified by the works of the law.

1 Peter 3:14 But even if you should suffer for righteousness' sake, you are blessed. "Don't fear what they fear, neither be troubled."{Isaiah 8:12}

Faith is walking on water despite all that's in our flesh telling us it is impossible, not us, but Christ commanding us to walk on the water, we supply the trust in his words. (Faith). First, we must believe we have been created in Christ for God's good works, if not, no matter how much one pushes the flesh to be apart of a religion, or a person interpretation of God's good works it is not God's good works, it is their own good works using God's word the bible to earn eternal life, or proving they are serving God by making themselves do good works.

2 Corinthians 3:3 being revealed that you are a letter of Christ, served by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tablets of stone, but in tablets that are hearts of flesh.

1 Corinthians 1:29 that no flesh should boast before God.

We have life in us, that is, the life of Christ or we don't? If we don't we cannot do the works of God, its that simple, so let us not lie about the truth, let us speak truth about the power of Christ life producing good works resting in full faith God can do no evil. Let us not teach the lust of our flesh are transformed into Christ works by making it obey commandments which is false religion. God does not redeem our flesh, or change it to be righteous, our righteousness comes from the Spirit of God by being in a spirit person Christ Jesus.

Titus 3:5 not by works of righteousness, which we did ourselves, but according to his mercy, he saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit.

James 3:12 Can a fig tree, my brothers, yield olives, or a vine figs? Thus no spring yields both salt water and fresh water. 3:13 Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by his good conduct that his deeds are done in gentleness of wisdom.
3:14 But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your heart, don't boast and don't lie against the truth. 3:15 This wisdom is not that which comes down from above, but is earthly, sensual, and demonic. 3:16 For where jealousy and selfish ambition are, there is confusion and every evil deed.

In his life, under the law of love he does the works of God, the vessel of flesh we are in cannot please God or be in subjection to God, so we must walk in Spirit, and be in Christ, who is a spirit person giving us so we can be in subjection to God through Christ headship; doing the works of God through the power of Christ life. Like a tree we must wait upon the life of the tree to produce the fruit on the tree we are not the life, or the boss, we are the branches.

Titus 2:14 who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify for himself a people for his own possession, zealous for good works.

Hebrews 10:24 Let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good works
