Ignorant of God's Righteousness

****Rom.10:1 Brothers, my heart's desire and my prayer to God is for Israel, that they may be saved. 10:2 For I testify about them that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge. 10:3 For being ignorant of God's righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, they didn't subject themselves to the righteousness of God.

Many Christian's don't understand there is more than one righteousness, that is, by their efforts in trying to be obedient to God's word the bible. In order to truly understand the book of Roman's we must understand this fundamental truth, which is?

Romans 3:25 whom God set forth to be an atoning sacrifice{or, a propitiation}, through faith in his blood, for a demonstration of his righteousness through the passing over of prior sins, in God's forbearance;

The law had a righteousness, and Christ has a righteousness, and than there is a self-righteousness, so what was the righteousness of the law for Israel? It would be the blood upon God's altar so Israel could keep the righteousness of the law. There was no self-righteousness found in the law. Righteousness of the law was a gift of God's mercy by inocent blood to redeem law breakers. Subsequently, Paul speak of the righteousness of the law, but heres the problem.

Titus 3:5 not by works of righteousness, which we did ourselves, but according to his mercy, he saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit.

James 1:20 for the anger of man doesn't produce the righteousness of God.
Hebrews 7:19 (for the law made nothing perfect), and a bringing in of a better hope, through which we draw near to God.

The problem for Israel was they emphasised knowledge of the law as bring righteousness to them, which was false. They like many today put faith in their understanding of God's words as righteousness, not the gift upon the altar (blood). However, even the demon's believe, knowledge does not equal righteousness, yet, those loving self-righteousness love knowledge more than the truth of God.

Luke 1:77 to give knowledge of salvation to his people by the remission of their sins,

Luke 11:52 Woe to you lawyers! For you took away the key of knowledge. You didn't enter in yourselves, and those who were entering in, you hindered."

Romans 3:20 Because by the works of the law, no flesh will be justified in his sight. For through the law comes the knowledge of sin.

1 Corinthians 8:1 Now concerning things sacrificed to idols: We know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffs up, but love builds up.

2 Timothy 2:25 in gentleness correcting those who oppose him: perhaps God may give them repentance leading to a full knowledge of the truth,

2 Timothy 3:7 always learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

This intellectual pursuit of righteousness through the power and control of knowledge did not make Israel or her teachers righteous. Now the same standing away from the Christ was entering into the body of Christ were the glory of knowledge outshined the righteousness of Christ. Zeal for knowledge is not righteousness, which is, a self-righteousness, it is good for one to wants to know God, and/or some deep truth of the bible, but let none be fooled, self-effort will not bring us salvation. Faith in Christ righteousness will discarding our own worthlessness, for truth in Christ worthiness which actually saves us.

Romans 5:9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we will be saved from God's wrath through him.

Romans 5:10 For if, while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we will be saved by his life.

2 Corinthians 2:15 For we are a sweet aroma of Christ to God, in those who are saved, and in those who perish;2:16 to the one a stench from death to death; to the other a sweet aroma from life to life. Who is sufficient for these things? 2:17 For we are not as so many, peddling the word of God. But as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God, we speak in Christ.

The law beautiful as it was, good and righteous as it was did not bring Israel to Christ, it did not perfect them, it cost most of them to be condemned. Moreover, it caused them to stumble in Christ being a rockmass of offense too them, why? Because their so called superior knowledge rejected Christ, he did not fit their intellectual idea of God's messiah, why? Because one had to accept Christ by faith, humbly. Not only did Israel stumble they were deeply ofended over Christ and his teachings by their pride of knowledge.

1Cor.1:19 For it is written, "I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, I will bring the discernment of the discerning to nothing."{Isaiah 29:14} 1:20 Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the lawyer of this world? Hasn't God made foolish the wisdom of this world? 1:21 For seeing that in the wisdom of God, the world through its wisdom didn't know God, it was God's good pleasure through the foolishness of the preaching to save those who believe.
1:22 For Jews ask for signs, Greeks seek after wisdom,
1:23 but we preach Christ crucified; a stumbling block to Jews, and foolishness to Greeks, 1:24 but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God. 1:25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men. 1:26 For you see your calling, brothers, that not many are wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, and not many noble; 1:27 but God chose the foolish things of the world that he might put to shame those who are wise. God chose the weak things of the world, that he might put to shame the things that are strong; 1:28 and God chose the lowly things of the world, and the things that are despised, and the things that are not, that he might bring to nothing the things that are: 1:29 that no flesh should boast before God. 1:30 But of him, you are in Christ Jesus, who was made to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption: 1:31 that, according as it is written, "He who boasts, let him boast in the Lord."{Jeremiah 9:24}

Chirst brought in God's righteousness by his blood, by his blood he removed the law, making us one with God through the body of Christ. This step of faith was found in a verly lowly person to this world, rejected, despised, and hated by those with intellectual knowledge of the law.

Romans 12:16 Be of the same mind one toward another. Don't set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Don't be wise in your own conceits.

1 Peter 5:6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time;

Zephaniah 2:3 Seek Yahweh, all you humble of the land, who have kept his ordinances. Seek righteousness. Seek humility. It may be that you will be hidden in the day of Yahweh's anger.

Matthew 21:5 "Tell the daughter of Zion, behold, your King comes to you, humble, and riding on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey."{Zechariah 9:9}

Christ the fulfillment of the law

****Rom.10:4 For Christ is the fulfillment{or, completion, or end} of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.

Many Christian's find the apostle Paul's word here difficult to explain let alone to jell with their religious doctrine. While they agree the law was fulfilled by Christ they still engage the law of Moses, and its righteousness in disciplining members of their groups and family. Subsequently, the law is not completed if its still being used by Christian's.

Exodus 12:19 Seven days shall there be no yeast found in your houses, for whoever eats that which is leavened, that soul shall be cut off from the congregation of Israel, whether he be a foreigner, or one who is born in the land.

1 Corinthians 5:7 Purge out the old yeast, that you may be a new lump, even as you are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, has been sacrificed in our place.

The basic truth of the scriptures are than twisted into a hybrid of mixing the new covenant and the old covenant creating a works of law righteousness through the power of love, that is, the new covenant. The very thing Paul was arguing against in the entire book of Romans. So what is the fundamental truth overlooked by most of us? It is the righteousness of the law, lets emphasis the word “righteousness” of the law. Do you understand the laws righteousness for sinners? We are not asking if the law was righteous, we are asking what made the law righteous for sinners?
1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

1 Timothy 1:9 as knowing this, that law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and insubordinate, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers,

Galatians 3:11 Now that no man is justified by the law before God is evident, for, "The righteous will live by faith."{Habakkuk 2:4}

Simply put, God's mercy found in the blood of an innocent victim an animal, an animal not created to be righteous by keeping God's law
(the animal had not sinned against the law of God). There is the crux's overlooked by so many of us. A sinner could not be “made” righteous without God's mercy found in the blood! In other words, a person could not keep God's righteous laws, it was impossible for them as a sinner. Hence, the need for God to act by his power of creation in giving us life of innocent blood for redemption.

Romans 3:10 As it is written, "There is no one righteous; no, not one.

Romans 11:32 For God has shut up all to disobedience, that he might have mercy on all.

Romans 3:19 Now we know that whatever things the law says, it speaks to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be closed, and all the world may be brought under the judgment of God.

The innocent (life) blood of the animals let a person stand righteous before God, even if they were the most outstanding of person in Israel they still must put faith in the redemptive blood (life) of God's mercy for them. But why did Christ fulfill the law, that is, completing it for those whom believe? Here in is found the confusion for many, God was not saying his law was unrighteous, i.e., no good; that it was weak, no! He stated that we are, and because of our sins, something the law only exposed, condemning us, and convicting us, but not removing the sins (death) for Adam something greater was needed (life).

1 Corinthians 15:56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.

Galatians 2:16 yet knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, even we believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ, and not by the works of the law, because no flesh will be justified by the works of the law.

Life was needed to swallow up death forever. In others words, we exist in death to the life of God, by the life Adam and Eve past on to us. Sin must be completely removed to have life with God, that is, to have God in us so we live forever. The very thing Adam and Eve took away from us. The law could not indwell us giving us eternal life of God, it could testify against us, condemning us as a sinner, but it could not allow God's life to indwell us because of our sins. The reason for blood (under the law) was so Israel could stand before God's righteousness allowing them to worship him with a clean heart, not in Spirit and truth.

Galatians 2:18 For if I build up again those things which I destroyed, I prove myself a law-breaker.

Galatians 2:19 For I, through the law, died to the law, that I might live to God.

Galatians 2:21 I don't make void the grace of God. For if righteousness is through the law, then Christ died for nothing!"

Galatians 3:2 I just want to learn this from you. Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by hearing of faith?

Christ is life, why? Number one, he came from above, that is, having no sin from Adam. Thus, he needed no laws for sin convicting him of not being righteous. Sinlessness is righteousness! It means a person has no laws condemning them of sin (in their flesh). Subsequently, they are governed by the law of life (Spirit), what is that law? Love. God is love that is where life stem from. The new covenant is found upon a law of freedom, freedom from what? The flesh, the flesh and its sins which is under slavery to punishment of God's law.

Galatians 3:10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under a curse. For it is written, "Cursed is everyone who doesn't continue in all things that are written in the book of the law, to do them."{Deuteronomy 27:26}

Galatians 3:21 Is the law then against the promises of God? Certainly not! For if there had been a law given which could make alive, most certainly righteousness would have been of the law.

Galatians 5:14 For the whole law is fulfilled in one word, in this: "You shall love your neighbor as yourself."{Leviticus 19:18}

The righteousness of the laws tells us sinner we are dead to God, our works cannot produce life, sinless life, required to associated with the God of life. We are dead works to God's righteousness even if we love the laws of God and desire to keep each and everyone of them we cannot without God's mercy by blood. Christ took our judgment, God did not dwell upon death to produce life in us. In other words, he did not keep us under the judgment of our flesh by his righteous law which only punishes us as dead to God.

Ephesians 2:15 having abolished in the flesh the hostility, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, that he might create in himself one new man of the two, making peace;

Philippians 3:9 and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own, that which is of the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith;

1 John 5:20 We know that the Son of God has come, and has given us an understanding, that we know him who is true, and we are in him who is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.

1 John 5:11 The testimony is this, that God gave to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 5:12 He who has the Son has the life. He who doesn't have God's Son doesn't have the life.

John 8:23 He said to them, "You are from beneath. I am from above. You are of this world. I am not of this world.

God is the God of the living sending us life in his son. Our putting faith in God's love too us, his son Christ Jesus, gives us life indwelling us so we might tasted God's love and sweet association.
The righteous of God is found in the life of Christ Jesus for all Christian's, it is the only place there is life, not death by more punishment of laws created for sinners, but of no value for the righteous person without sin.

Romans 7:23 but I see a different law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity under the law of sin which is in my members.

Romans 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death.

1 John 3:5 You know that he was revealed to take away our sins, and in him is no sin.

1 John 3:6 Whoever remains in him doesn't sin. Whoever sins hasn't seen him, neither knows him.

1 John 3:9 Whoever is born of God doesn't commit sin, because his seed remains in him; and he can't sin, because he is born of God.

This is why we so often hear about the flesh in our bibles, and why it can be said that nothing good dwells in our flesh? One is good, not many, many will be made good by God's love, but not one can make themselves good without the blood of Christ redeeming them into a sinless life by removing the judgment of their flesh from God's righteous laws.

2 Corinthians 4:11 For we who live are always delivered to death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus may be revealed in our mortal flesh.

2 Corinthians 5:16 Therefore we know no one after the flesh from now on. Even though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now we know him so no more.

Death is at work in all of us, how? By the constant judgment of the fleshly mind, but for those accepting Christ life there is also life at work in us, a life that has conquered death, that is, the mind of fleshly thoughts and its judgments. This world cannot be brought any higher by thoughts of punishment and death. The flesh cannot be perfected by such thoughts. God must put to death the flesh, and God renew us in spirit by the law of the new covenant, the law of life, love!

Hebrews 7:19 (for the law made nothing perfect), and a bringing in of a better hope, through which we draw near to God.

All things in heaven and upon earth will be made new, by a new law that human's have never experienced, the law of God, the Royal law of love, when we walk in love we are in Christ our righteousness, we are in life, the life that swallows up the power of death through completing and finishing God's enemy forever lastingly.

1 Corinthians 15:21 For since death came by man, the resurrection of the dead also came by man.

1 Corinthians 15:26 The last enemy that will be abolished is death.

1 Corinthians 15:56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.

2 Corinthians 3:7 But if the service of death, written engraved on stones, came with glory, so that the children of Israel could not look steadfastly on the face of Moses for the glory of his face; which was passing away:

Revelation 21:4 He will wipe away from them every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; neither will there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain, any more. The first things have passed away."

Brain,

Some how I missed your post, I do apologize. Watchman Nee has many books and has helped me as well. He has past, but his writing can still be found. I placed a number of them on www.nu-truth.com.

He spent many years in prison in China for his faith. Subsequently, because of that isolation he is not influence so much by false religious teachings. Yes, please contact me anytime on jwsstraighttalk@yahoo.com.

The Righteousness of The Law

****Rom.10:5 For Moses writes about the righteousness of the law, "The one who does them will live by them."{Leviticus 18:5}

What is the righteousness of the law? To date it has been a mystery for many, although, people whom are law minded cut through excuses made by the weak, yet, they themselves are accounted weak when measure against the laws righteousness!

Matt.7:1 "Don't judge, so that you won't be judged. 7:2 For with whatever judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with whatever measure you measure, it will be measured to you.

Romans 7:5 For when we were in the flesh, the sinful passions which were through the law, worked in our members to bring forth fruit to death.

The mystery is in us, human sin, and the self-justification of our legal mind which constantly approvals or disapproves us by our judgments that clears our conscious in ourselves, and/or before others. This court, is always in session, created by God own judgment of sin from the Garden of Eden. The righteousness of the law, and our sins are two separated issues. One is light the other darkness, hence, the mystery.

James 1:13 Let no man say when he is tempted, "I am tempted by God," for God can't be tempted by evil, and he himself tempts no one. 1:14 But each one is tempted, when he is drawn away by his own lust, and enticed. 1:15 Then the lust, when it has conceived, bears sin; and the sin, when it is full grown, brings forth death.
1:16 Don't be deceived, my beloved brothers. 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow.

James 3:14 But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your heart, don't boast and don't lie against the truth. 3:15 This wisdom is not that which comes down from above, but is earthly, sensual, and demonic. 3:16 For where jealousy and selfish ambition are, there is confusion and every evil deed.

Here than is a perfect race set before us by God, run if you will, meet the law, and be rewarded with the reward of the law, eternal life. Many have run, and run hard with complete conviction, but none from Adam meant the law perfectly. They ran and tired out, they begged and pleaded with God, but God did not reward them with eternal life as he did his Son, why? None were righteous, they were all sinners, but one Christ!

Isaiah 40:31 But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint.

1 Corinthians 9:24 Don't you know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run like that, that you may win.

Romans 3:10 As it is written, "There is no one righteous; no, not one.

In other words, all must be made righteousness not by the law, but blood so they could be justified for breaking God's law. The mystery is found in us, and them, what mystery? The faulty thinking of our fleshly mind which continues to hold court to excuse, or condone our works by God's law. In other word, we judge how will we keep God's laws, and than we excuse our actions or justify them. This process self-justification alludes most Christian's, but simply put, its is called works of law, our works of judging ourselves right or wrong by certain rules and laws of bible, and/or a religion thinking we are made righteous by such judgments.

1Cor.4:1 So let a man think of us as Christ's servants, and stewards of God's mysteries. 4:2 Here, moreover, it is required of stewards, that they be found faithful. 4:3 But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged by you, or by man's judgment. Yes, I don't judge my own self. 4:4 For I know nothing against myself. Yet I am not justified by this, but he who judges me is the Lord.
4:5 Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord comes, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and reveal the counsels of the hearts. Then each man will get his praise from God.

This mystery of running a race we cannot personally win without God's loving kindness, and/or undeserved kindness became so profound in Israel, and was also taken root in God's anointed causing some to say in their hearts; “who will go into heaven and get Christ down here, or into the depth of the sea to bring him up?” The mystery was in them sin, a flicking light with ever changing shadows so that no one could be trusted, all men were liars, now they imputed the same too God, and Christ. They found themselves in a trap twenty two, the harder they tried the deeper they got into failure, God must be tricking them, that is, not allowing them to please Him in their very best desire and efforts!

1 Corinthians 15:56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.

2 Corinthians 12:9 He has said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me.

2 Corinthians 13:4 For he was crucified through weakness, yet he lives through the power of God. For we also are weak in him, but we will live with him through the power of God toward you.

Rom.7:4 Therefore, my brothers, you also were made dead to the law through the body of Christ, that you would be joined to another, to him who was raised from the dead, that we might bring forth fruit to God. 7:5 For when we were in the flesh, the sinful passions which were through the law, worked in our members to bring forth fruit to death.

They had missed the simple teaching of the bible for self-righteousness, which is, nothing more than judging oneself right against God's law. God's law did not judge any of us right, but Christ, it did not condone our efforts, the blood did, which blood is a gift of God's mercy. But most could not accept this truth, they could not stop the court of works of law in their fleshly mind, they could not transition from their own fleshly minds court into the mind of Christ, where their judgment stopped and stopped for others.

1 Corinthians 2:16 "For who has known the mind of the Lord, that he should instruct him?"{Isaiah 40:13} But we have Christ's mind.

Romans 7:23 but I see a different law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity under the law of sin which is in my members.

Rom. 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don't walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.{NU omits "who don't walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit"} 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death.

The mind of sin became a deep pit of endless works they must do to please God, one day great, the next in the pit, bipolar was their works good and bad, sorting through the good to justify the bad ones to created a sheet of credits handed to God to justify them upon earth so that they could stand right before God. Wars from within and out with other Christian's, never ending justification, a famine of legal minded judgments.

1 Peter 3:21 This is a symbol of baptism, which now saves you--not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

James. 4:1 Where do wars and fightings among you come from? Don't they come from your pleasures that war in your members?
4:2 You lust, and don't have. You kill, covet, and can't obtain. You fight and make war. You don't have, because you don't ask.
4:3 You ask, and don't receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it for your pleasures.
4:4 You adulterers and adulteresses, don't you know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever

A never ending repenting from dead works not even understand the meaning of dead works? Dead is our flesh to God because Christ blood redeemed us from the judgments of our flesh. Dead is our works of our flesh in trying to justify ourselves, something only God can give us in the gift of his son's life. Dead is our fleshly mind, dead to any works coming from our sinful flesh before God. Looking at the judgments of our flesh by laws of God and repenting each day is a dead work. The mystery happens when we think we can put away the filth of our flesh by human efforts. Such thinking is nothing more than judging what is dead to God in Christ our sinful flesh.

Romans 2:21 You therefore who teach another, don't you teach yourself? You who preach that a man shouldn't steal, do you steal?

Hebrews 5:12 For when by reason of the time you ought to be teachers, you again need to have someone teach you the rudiments of the first principles of the oracles of God. You have come to need milk, and not solid food.

Titus 3:5 not by works of righteousness, which we did ourselves, but according to his mercy, he saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit,

We have to accept with all humility God's love in undeserved kindness that our righteousness comes from Christ righteousness as a free gift not earned, then the mystery disappears, and Christ is found in our hearts by faith, and from this we speak to others. We boast only in Christ putting us in Spirit and truth.

Rom.10:6 But the righteousness which is of faith says this, "Don't say in your heart, 'Who will ascend into heaven?'{Deuteronomy 30:12} (that is, to bring Christ down); 10:7 or, 'Who will descend into the abyss?'{Deuteronomy 30:13} (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead.)" 10:8 But what does it say? "The word is near you, in your mouth, and in your heart;"{Deuteronomy 30:14} that is, the word of faith, which we preach: 10:9 that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

The Righteousness of The Law

**** Rom.10:5 For Moses writes about the righteousness of the law, "The one who does them will live by them."{Leviticus 18:5} 10:6 But the righteousness which is of faith says this, "Don't say in your heart, 'Who will ascend into heaven?'{Deuteronomy 30:12} (that is, to bring Christ down); 10:7 or, 'Who will descend into the abyss?'{Deuteronomy 30:13} (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead.)" 10:8 But what does it say? "The word is near you, in your mouth, and in your heart;"{Deuteronomy 30:14} that is, the word of faith, which we preach: 10:9 that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10:10 For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Nothing is for free in this world that is the truth and once we get that we stop being a victim and get on with life working for the rewards of this life. Here though we have uncovered the problems of Paul's words written above, and what is that?

Psalms 18:26 With the pure, you will show yourself pure. With the crooked you will show yourself shrewd.

Ecclesiastes 1:15 That which is crooked can't be made straight; and that which is lacking can't be counted.

Our human nature under sin we complicate salvation when we make it man's efforts, which is, in essence making ourselves a god. God and not man alone is the author of our salvation, where man does intervene into all endeavors under the Sun he cannot when it comes to God's way to salvation.

Luke 3:5 Every valley will be filled. Every mountain and hill will be brought low. The crooked will become straight, and the rough ways smooth.

Philippians 2:15 that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you are seen as lights in the world.

These brothers and sisters anointed by God were falling into self-salvation by works of law making God's seem impossible, far off from them, but how? Simply put, we are not a god, our ways and God's ways are not the same and certainly not the common practice in the way world thinks, for where there is confusion God does not exist.

Isa.40:6 The voice of one saying, "Cry!" One said, "What shall I cry?" "All flesh is like grass, and all its glory is like the flower of the field.
40:7 The grass withers, the flower fades, because Yahweh's breath blows on it. Surely the people are like grass.

These brothers and sisters had become trapped into trying to save themselves by works of law, but the harder they tried to be perfect the more they sank into the quicksand of sin. The power of the law is sin, now lets says that one more time the “power” of God's law is to point out our sin yet more, why? So that every mouth may be stop, so none of us can brag in our flesh, that is, our sinful nature, as a god! (the issue started in the garden of Eden).

Rom.7:16 But if what I don't desire, that I do, I consent to the law that it is good. 7:17 So now it is no more I that do it, but sin which dwells in me. 7:18 For I know that in me, that is, in my flesh, dwells no good thing. For desire is present with me, but I don't find it doing that which is good. 7:19 For the good which I desire, I don't do; but the evil which I don't desire, that I practice.

Rom.7:24 What a wretched man I am! Who will deliver me out of the body of this death? 7:25 I thank God through Jesus Christ, our Lord! So then with the mind, I myself serve God's law, but with the flesh, the sin's law.

Salvation rest with God alone in getting us out of sin. When people deal with breaking a law their solution to the problem is lets make another law, one that will better define the problem, it may work of short term problems, but not with sin. You see the law did not stop us from sinning it only defined what God had told us from creation, after Adam and Eve sinned, our ways are crooked, we think death, because born into sin, we are in death. So our ways cannot be made straight through human effort. Its like having a flawed computer that keeps repeating the same error how can the computer correct the problem when its not programed with the right mind?

Titus 1:15 To the pure, all things are pure; but to those who are defiled and unbelieving, nothing is pure; but both their mind and their conscience are defiled.

1 Peter 3:21 This is a symbol of baptism, which now saves you--not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Colossians 3:2 Set your mind on the things that are above, not on the things that are on the earth.

1 Corinthians 2:16 "For who has known the mind of the Lord, that he should instruct him?"{Isaiah 40:13} But we have Christ's mind.

The harder it searches for an answer logically (by mathematical laws) the greater the problem and the deeper its gets until it yells out: “Who will go into heaven and get me what I need to save myself? Who will go into the depth of sea to bring up this hidden treasure so I can be saved?”

There problem is really simple they had been given a new life, a new heart, how had they gotten to thinking they had earned being a new creation by a law that only condemned them into seeing how much of a sinner there were a sinner while living in death thinking? They were flawed from sin, hence, their algorithm (the law) could not solve the problem they must have the mind of Christ (having a new law) to fix the error.

Ephesians 4:24 and put on the new man, who in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of truth.

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new.

1 Corinthians 5:7 Purge out the old yeast, that you may be a new lump, even as you are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, has been sacrificed in our place.

It is from this rock solid foundation stone all was built upon in the new creation there was no other salvation not even by the genius of this world. No human philosophy, works, thinking under the Sun that could solved what God must fix. This is why Christ made it clear to us, any other means for salvation is a thief stealing what Christ righteously earned for us. Christ fulfilled the law, its really that simple, completed it so we must put faith in him alone, not ourselves, a religion or person we have salvation, not based upon our worth but his worth.

Revelation 5:9 They sang a new song, saying, "You are worthy to take the book, and to open its seals: for you were killed, and bought us for God with your blood, out of every tribe, language, people, and nation,

Hebrews 1:9 You have loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness above your fellows."{Psalm 45:6-7}

Titus 3:5 not by works of righteousness, which we did ourselves, but according to his mercy, he saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit,

To rejoice in Christ is not thinking we are better, or more perfect because we have been granted gifts from God, it is instead rejoicing in God's unmerited kindness towards us, it is his love that fixes all problems in the human race, the love that will wipe away every tear of sorrow and fear in our hearts so we can truly believe some one love us that much.

This love is in our hearts when we speak it with our mouths than we have lined up the Christ and God's Spirit in truth, thus, we have salvation because Christ lives in us. This is the Good News of our Salvation open to all mankind, Spirit lead and directed by the will of God, found in our perfect head with no flaws, Christ Jesus.

1 Peter 2:24 who his own self bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness; by whose stripes you were healed.

Calling on The Name of The Lord?

**** Rom.10:11 For the Scripture says, "Whoever believes in him will not be disappointed."{Isaiah 28:16} 10:12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, and is rich to all who call on him. 10:13 For, "Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved."{Joel 2:32}

Can it be that simple, what is that? Our salvation, simply calling upon the name of the Lord? This is a fair question; the apostle Paul himself under Holy Spirit wrote an entire and very complicate book of Roman's just to explain the truth of our salvation. We must as human understand our nature is to complicate every subject before we are willing to put faith in someone or anything.

Ecclesiastes 12:12 Furthermore, my son, be admonished: of making many books there is no end; and much study is a weariness of the flesh.

Our nature is first to distrust, double check and than legalize any issues which is important to our existence on earth. The world is full of books based upon laws, upon science, upon every subject under the Sun, certain no more so then our bibles.

Psalms 18:26 With the pure, you will show yourself pure. With the crooked you will show yourself shrewd.

Subsequently, our understanding this truth helps us to understand that we don't trust or put faith in simple statement found in our bibles. Jesus himself made it clear time and again how we gain salvation with God, believing in him, calling upon him, now Paul actually repeat what Christ himself stated to his own apostles and others listening to him.

John 3:15 that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

However, our legal mind starts down a check list of things in the bible we must perform to gain salvation, hence, we have now uncovered the truth of why the book of Roman's was needed. First, because we live in an unrighteous world our law are set up with a negative. The law assumes correctly that people will do evil then it gives conviction, judgment, and penalty for break the law. These brothers and sisters were being effect the power of the law working in them imputing the evil inherent in the law to the body of Christ. However, what they could not grasp the law and its judgment was abolished by God's love, that is, in the life of Christ Jesus.

James 4:11 Don't speak against one another, brothers. He who speaks against a brother and judges his brother, speaks against the law and judges the law. But if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law, but a judge.

Hebrews 10:1 For the law, having a shadow of the good to come, not the very image of the things, can never with the same sacrifices year by year, which they offer continually, make perfect those who draw near.

Titus 3:9 but shun foolish questionings, genealogies, strife, and disputes about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain.

Ephesians 2:15 having abolished in the flesh the hostility, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, that he might create in himself one new man of the two, making peace;

In other words, the law was created for whom? Sinners, not a righteous person. Now that statement often times does not resonate with us because we are all taught works of law by false religion. The law does not apply to a righteous man, it can't, because he does not sin, so God did not create man out of love while thinking evil of him through law. After man fell into sin, than laws to punish the flesh was needed, for an unrighteous man.

Romans 8:12 So then, brothers, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh

Romans 8:7 because the mind of the flesh is hostile towards God; for it is not subject to God's law, neither indeed can it be.

This point cannot be overlooked if it is, we go back to the judgment for sin removing the blood of Christ, and promoting yeast teaching. Sin was removed “once” for all times for God's children, not each day, each moment, another hard subject for some. God cannot lie he either removed our judgment for sin, or he did not. To remove the judgment of sin, not the sin in our mortal bodies, he simply removed the thing judging us of sin, the law.

1 John 3:6 Whoever remains in him doesn't sin. Whoever sins hasn't seen him, neither knows him.

Now there is only one thing we can please God with, not keeping the law, because we cannot, or Christ would not be God's love too us, and our one means of salvation. It is our belief God removed our judgment because of his love, which is called putting faith in what God has done for us. We cannot believe this by works of law, we cannot live under rules we cannot keep as an unrighteous person born into sin.

Rom.7:22 For I delight in God's law after the inward man,
7:23 but I see a different law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity under the law of sin which is in my members. 7:24 What a wretched man I am! Who will deliver me out of the body of this death? 7:25 I thank God through Jesus Christ, our Lord! So then with the mind, I myself serve God's law, but with the flesh, the sin's law.

We must as hard as it is, put faith in Christ the one righteous person that redeems us from God's judgment, and accept this gift as undeserved, unmerited kindness of YHWH. Nothing in our human existence can comprehend such unmerited favor, not in ourselves, and hardly for others.

Ephesians 2:8 for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God.

Romans 5:15 But the free gift isn't like the trespass. For if by the trespass of the one the many died, much more did the grace of God, and the gift by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, abound to the many. The gift is not as through one who sinned: for the judgment came by one to condemnation, but the free gift came of many trespasses to justification.

This is why Christ must be in us, and live through us, to be comforted by God's Holy Spirit. This is the one testimony that remains us of the truth of what, God's love for us. If we go legal, we will condemn ourselves in a heart beat because we are deserving of such judgment. However, if we glorify God, for his goodness and gift to us, we make Satan a liar.
1 John 3:20 because if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all things.

1 Peter 1:22 Seeing you have purified your souls in your obedience to the truth through the Spirit in sincere brotherly affection, love one another from the heart fervently:

1 John 5:6 This is he who came by water and blood, Jesus Christ; not with the water only, but with the water and the blood. It is the Spirit who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth.

1 John 2:27 As for you, the anointing which you received from him remains in you, and you don't need for anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is no lie, and even as it taught you, you will remain in him.

Good News of Peace

****Rom.10:14 How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in him whom they have not heard? How will they hear without a preacher? 10:15 And how will they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: "How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the Good News of peace, who bring glad tidings of good things!"{Isaiah 52:7}

The picture for most Christian's is the commander and chief sending by harsh command his solders into the world to preach the Good News! If not you are a trader, you are not loyal, and you will not be saved!

Colossians 1:13 who delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the Kingdom of the Son of his love;

But the context of Roman's is Spirit Vs. Law, law is all the commandments that condemned us. Yes, the commandments that stated beyond any doubt there was not one righteous man on earth accept the one from above without sin. Simply put, the one Christ Jesus he alone was declared righteous by the law, why? Because he had no sin! The rest must be made righteous by God, through God's provision of love to overlook are sins.

1Tim.1:9 as knowing this, that law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and insubordinate, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers.

1 Corinthians 13:1 If I speak with the languages of men and of angels, but don't have love, I have become sounding brass, or a clanging cymbal.

Now lets reason together, where is Christ now? In heaven, what is the direction for God's children those born of Spirit on earth, it is Spirit, correct? In other words, Christ is spirit and in him is God's Holy Spirit as God's temple so the body members born of Spirit must be sent by Spirit, not religious corporation, or a person of the flesh, not even the guilt of our own flesh will complete a work that must be done in Spirit and truth.

Romans 3:20 Because by the works of the law, no flesh will be justified in his sight. For through the law comes the knowledge of sin.

Romans 8:8 Those who are in the flesh can't please God.

Now we have the context rooted in Spirit and truth. No Good News was preached by a world wide campaign organized by humans efforts, through human programing and intellect. No printing presses were set up by God to complete the working of Holy Spirit sown into the hearts of mankind from above.

1 Corinthians 3:16 Don't you know that you are a temple of God, and that God's Spirit lives in you?

2 Corinthians 1:22 who also sealed us, and gave us the down payment of the Spirit in our hearts.

2 Corinthians 3:3 being revealed that you are a letter of Christ, served by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tablets of stone, but in tablets that are hearts of flesh.

2 Corinthians 3:6 who also made us sufficient as servants of a new covenant; not of the letter, but of the Spirit. For the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.

The Good News started with the unmerited kindness of God, born again regenerated by Holy Spirit in each child of God heart. They were directed each one by Christ their head, they were motivated by love, the love in their hearts for their Father. They like no others would share what no person had ever shared on earth but Christ, the personality of their Father, the Father of love. It was not a Good News of judgment, the law settled that matter, we could not meet it, we could not keep it, we were condemn by it. The Good News was not preaching judgment and condemned by God's righteous laws. It was being preached from God's through us without sin because His son Christ Jesus redeemed us once for all times.

2 Corinthians 3:8 won't service of the Spirit be with much more glory? 3:17 Now the Lord is the Spirit and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. 3:18 But we all, with unveiled face beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as from the Lord, the Spirit.

They like no other people were connected not to this earth but heaven, by Spirit and truth, that is, Christ Jesus. They had the will of the Father in them, by the life of Christ Jesus indwelling them they were like body members always doing the will of the head. Christ would open their mouths, he would send them on divine appointments to those Christ had meant with in Spirit and truth in the secret place of their hearts. Christ would knock and they had opened. The body of Christ would than minister too them, what? The Spirit of God.

Revelation 14:6 I saw an angel flying in mid heaven, having an eternal Good News to proclaim to those who dwell on the earth, and to every nation, tribe, language, and people.

Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, then I will come in to him, and will dine with him, and he with me.

Matthew 7:7 "Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you.

The law was not going to send them out to preach, some religion causing guilt could not send them out. Judgment and love do not mix into a sweet pie of Spirit and truth. The waters needed was the waters from above, to stop the drought of a fleshly lead world, in what? Harsh and demanding judgments.

Revelation 7:17 for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne shepherds them, and leads them to springs of waters of life. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes."

1 John 4:17 In this love has been made perfect among us, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment, because as he is, even so are we in this world.

1 John 4:8 He who doesn't love doesn't know God, for God is love.

These had been prepared by God, how? Through thousand's of years of judging each others flesh, by his own commandments. Now they were set free by Spirit into the freedom of Christ qualifying them like no other people, the Jews, to share the truth of God's love with mankind.

However, the weeds had been sown, nothing new here, but the same old weeds of death, judgments by righteous laws condemning us of falling short of God's glory leaving us in death, as a sinner. This is the reason for letter of Roman's. No preaching was going toget done from below, but yeast teaching of God, that is, judging our sins as deserving of death. The Good News had to come from above, by a angel declaring something everlasting and new, the Good News, of freedom from the judgment of our flesh we are all so deserve of.

John 3:31 He who comes from above is above all. He who is from the Earth belongs to the Earth, and speaks of the Earth. He who comes from heaven is above all.

John 8:15 You judge according to the flesh. I judge no one.

John 1:4 In him was life, and the life was the light of men.

1 Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God's own possession, that you may proclaim the excellence of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light:

Without love there is no Good News, without being moved by love, that is, Spirit, because God the great Spirit is love, we can do nothing.

1 John 2:9 He who says he is in the light and hates his brother, is in the darkness even until now. 2:10 He who loves his brother remains in the light, and there is no occasion for stumbling in him.

Philippians 1:17 but the latter out of love, knowing that I am appointed for the defense of the Good News.

Colossians 2:2 that their hearts may be comforted, they being knit together in love, and gaining all riches of the full assurance of understanding, that they may know the mystery of God, both of the Father and of Christ,

Colossians 3:14 Above all these things, walk in love, which is the bond of perfection.

Their Sound Went Out Into All the Earth

****Rom.10:16 But they didn't all listen to the glad news. For Isaiah says, "Lord, who has believed our report?"{Isaiah 53:1} 10:17 So faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. 10:18 But I say, didn't they hear? Yes, most certainly, "Their sound went out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world."{Psalm 19:4}

Is there any hearing of God without the word of God? No there is not! But let us pay attention please, the word of God is Christ, do you imagine that billions of billions of printed material was on earth while Israel was a nation at Moses time, or even Davids, Isaiah time, not even when Christ walked the earth, who than made sure all heard the word of God?

Jer.17:10 I, Yahweh, search the mind, I try the heart, even to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his doings.

We must understand because man captures a bible does not mean people hear the truth of God's word. In fact, certainly weeds planted by Satan used God's word to act, and sound like wheat Christian's planted by God, doing so with all sincerity of heart. For us to grasp, that is, move on from the primary doctrines of Christ we must come to know that Christ brought us a spiritual nation, a spiritual man, a new creation, he did not legislate the flesh into preaching the Good News.

2Cor.3:2 You are our letter, written in our hearts, known and read by all men; 3:3 being revealed that you are a letter of Christ, served by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tablets of stone, but in tablets that are hearts of flesh.
3:4 Such confidence we have through Christ toward God;
3:5 not that we are sufficient of ourselves, to account anything as from ourselves; but our sufficiency is from God;
3:6 who also made us sufficient as servants of a new covenant; not of the letter, but of the Spirit. For the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.

Christ acted upon faith, that is, God is good, and he is the one loving the human race and nothing he wanted them to hear will go unheard if he so wills it. Christ was an implement in doing his Fathers will for mankind. But God is the creator of human, knowing everything about them without speech, before they spoke, the hairs of their head were created and numbered by Jehovah.

Matt.5:44 But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you, 5:45 that you may be children of your Father who is in heaven. For he makes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the just and the unjust.

Revelation 7:17 for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne shepherds them, and leads them to springs of waters of life. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes."

Hence, it is the administering of God's Spirit, by his what? His Spirit children that brings one to the Good News. It is the direction of Holy Spirit that they must follow to be lead to the sheep, it is God whom talk to them in Spirit and truth. Those anointed are servants of a head, part of a body (spirit body), which directs their entire life, they are children of faith their very existence as God's children is from faith, not of things of this earth. Their birth, their training, and thinking is based upon faith in God, unseen by this world, and administer by Holy Spirit upon their hearts.

2Cor.3:7 But if the service of death, written engraved on stones, came with glory, so that the children of Israel could not look steadfastly on the face of Moses for the glory of his face; which was passing away: 3:8 won't service of the Spirit be with much more glory? 3:9 For if the service of condemnation has glory, the service of righteousness exceeds much more in glory. 3:10 For most certainly that which has been made glorious has not been made glorious in this respect, by reason of the glory that surpasses.
3:11 For if that which passes away was with glory, much more that which remains is in glory. 3:12 Having therefore such a hope, we use great boldness of speech.

They must not think like this world in legislating the flesh dead in Christ into good works of preaching, for those works are from contention and death even-though we must say, God can uses them to bring one to Christ they are not the administering of the Spirit. Faith is walking on water, and trusting God has equipped each child of God to minister the Spirit to those whom he had divine appointment with. He promise us, being are creator, he puts words and thoughts into our mouth that we and them may know when we speak of Christ; prophecy comes to their heart revealed by Spirit.

2 Peter 1:3 seeing that his divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and virtue;

Hebrews 2:4 God also testifying with them, both by signs and wonders, by various works of power, and by gifts of the Holy Spirit, according to his own will?

1 Thessalonians 1:5 and that our Good News came to you not in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Spirit, and with much assurance. You know what kind of men we showed ourselves to be among you for your sake.

There is not lack with God, God has entrusted the Good News to the one faithful slave proven at his death (Christ Jesus) that the message of hope, the Good News goes to the ends of this earth. Let us not fall into a lack of faith thinking this world depends upon mankind to make sure everyone hears of God. Just look at the world they have created, look at the truth of politics, the truth of all religion! The truth by Spirit is the message from above, from a kingdom incorruption that cannot be shaken. No! Let us walk in faith, let us not forget the truth of our anointing it was not a mistake, let us wait upon the master for are direction even if we must suffer, nothing is lacking in our God and certain not love.

Ephesians 3:7 of which I was made a servant, according to the gift of that grace of God which was given me according to the working of his power.

Ephesians 3:16 that he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, that you may be strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inward man;

Ephesians 3:20 Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.

Luke 12:6 "Aren't five sparrows sold for two assaria coins{An assarion was a small copper coin worth about an hour's wages for an agricultural laborer.}? Not one of them is forgotten by God.

Without faith we cannot please God, without faith and the Holy Spirit we cannot tell the Good News of a new heavens and earth, we have been recreated to be a part of the Spirit. What is the simple messages of truth?

Rev.22:17 The Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" He who hears, let him say, "Come!" He who is thirsty, let him come. He who desires, let him take the water of life freely.

Revelation 3:22 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies."

1 John 5:6 This is he who came by water and blood, Jesus Christ; not with the water only, but with the water and the blood. It is the Spirit who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth.

1 John 4:6 We are of God. He who knows God listens to us. He who is not of God doesn't listen to us. By this we know the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

Romans 14:17 for the Kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit.

John 4:24 God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth."

John 6:63 It is the spirit who gives life. The flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and are life.

Romans 2:29 but he is a Jew who is one inwardly, and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit not in the letter; whose praise is not from men, but from God.

Romans 5:5 and hope doesn't disappoint us, because God's love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

Romans 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are children of God.

Provoke to Jealousy and Anger

****Rom.10:19 But I ask, didn't Israel know? First Moses says, "I will provoke you to jealousy with that which is no nation, with a nation void of understanding I will make you angry."{Deuteronomy 32:31}

God YHWH provoked his own people to jealousy causing them much anger. The apostle Paul himself caused many anger by provoking them to jealousy through his Holy Spirit lead writings, we must ask why?

James 4:5 Or do you think that the Scripture says in vain, "The Spirit who lives in us yearns jealously"? 4:6 But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, "God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble."{Proverbs 3:34}

First, we should know as Christian's the primary doctrines of Christ, but in order for us to move past those doctrine we need know the very nature of our fallen flesh by God's Spirit. Knowledge appeals to the pride of the flesh, because knowledge is a work of law, that is, a work that we do by our efforts letting us believe we have a better standing with God for our efforts in gaining knowledge.

James 4:1 Where do wars and fightings among you come from? Don't they come from your pleasures that war in your members?

Romans 10:2 For I testify about them that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge.

1 Corinthians 12:8 For to one is given through the Spirit the word of wisdom, and to another the word of knowledge, according to the same Spirit;

1 Corinthians 13:2 If I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but don't have love, I am nothing.

When a stupid nation or people insults our knowledge with a lack of understanding it makes us angry. Moreover, if the stupid people take over our position disrespecting us thinking we deserved honor and respect for our superior knowledge, it provokes us to jealousy, which is a form of anger as will. Those having God's Spirit don't see people as stupid or less than themselves, they understand we all have been ignorant of God's ways, and by his love we were allowed to know him.

Titus.3:1 Remind them to be in subjection to rulers and to authorities, to be obedient, to be ready for every good work,
3:2 to speak evil of no one, not to be contentious, to be gentle, showing all humility toward all men. 3:3 For we were also once foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.
3:4 But when the kindness of God our Savior and his love toward mankind appeared, 3:5 not by works of righteousness, which we did ourselves, but according to his mercy, he saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit,
3:6 whom he poured out on us richly, through Jesus Christ our Savior; 3:7 that, being justified by his grace, we might be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

The discipline comes to us by having to deal with our feelings we had convince ourselves we were above by our knowledge of truth, that is, of God's ways. The anger brings out the side of us we have hid from ourselves and other in presenting ourselves as good and righteous. Now we have sinned, we have proven ourselves lower than those attacking us, something we thought we were above. But are we above them because of years of knowledge, or because we have associated in some religion and are high ranking?

1 Corinthians 4:7 For who makes you different? And what do you have that you didn't receive? But if you did receive it, why do you boast as if you had not received it?

1 Corinthians 1:29 that no flesh should boast before God.

Matthew 11:29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls.

Luke 1:52 He has put down princes from their thrones. And has exalted the lowly.

1 Corinthians 1:28 and God chose the lowly things of the world, and the things that are despised, and the things that are not, that he might bring to nothing the things that are:

No we are not, we are equal, we all fall short of God's glory, all sin, and all need salvation by God's own love. This is where we started, and this is where we end. The rest is our own personal evaluation of our goodness thinking we are above others. This is the nature of our fallen flesh, this is why Israel stumbled over the Christ the new comer on the block, this is the pride of our flesh we all have, and this is why God sent us his Son Christ Jesus.

1 Corinthians 10:13 No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.

We deserve what? Nothing, we are given undeserved kindness because God is good. The problems we all have is self-approval, not the truth of our faith, which is God approval. Some on earth today in high position have approved themselves for a position of rulership over their brothers and sisters, calling themselves a faithful slave, the question is how does a slave approve himself unless it is by presumptuous pride?

Luke 18:9 He spoke also this parable to certain people who were convinced of their own righteousness, and who despised all others.
18:10 "Two men went up into the temple to pray; one was a Pharisee, and the other was a tax collector.
18:11 The Pharisee stood and prayed to himself like this: 'God, I thank you, that I am not like the rest of men, extortioners, unrighteous, adulterers, or even like this tax collector.
18:12 I fast twice a week. I give tithes of all that I get.'
18:13 But the tax collector, standing far away, wouldn't even lift up his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, 'God, be merciful to me, a sinner!' 18:14 I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but he who humbles himself will be exalted."

Those with this pride will often be provoked to jealousy by God and his Son Christ Jesus, how, by a stupid people trampling upon their pride showing a lack of respect for their godship position upon earth!

Luke.18:16 Jesus summoned them, saying, "Allow the little children to come to me, and don't hinder them, for the Kingdom of God belongs to such as these. 18:17 Most certainly, I tell you, whoever doesn't receive the Kingdom of God like a little child, he will in no way enter into it."

Revealed to Those Not Seeking God

****Rom.10:20 Isaiah is very bold, and says, "I was found by those who didn't seek me. I was revealed to those who didn't ask for me."{Isaiah 65:1} 10:21 But as to Israel he says, "All day long I stretched out my hands to a disobedient and contrary people."{Isaiah 65:2}

Here God points out our human nature under sin, and what is that? If we think we are special particularly accounted special by God every evil atrocity follows. Throughout the history of mankind it has always been that a nation, religion, or business that thought they were especially blessed above
Psalms 123:4 Our soul is exceedingly filled with the scoffing of those who are at ease, with the contempt of the proud.

Psalms 138:6 For though Yahweh is high, yet he looks after the lowly; but the proud, he knows from afar.

Jude 1:16 These are murmurers and complainers, walking after their lusts (and their mouth speaks proud things), showing respect of persons to gain advantage.

Israel was chosen by God not because they were better, above, special, but because of God's love for Abraham. Yes, Abraham faith in God, not in himself as being special caused God to love him and reward his seed. That seed became Israel, but unlike Abraham it did not walk in faith, and God's goodness. Its soon let its special position turn to worship man instead of God, how? By the same old pattern of deception thinking the great's among their religion gave them special privilege. They had the truth, the scriptures, and the prophets no one could teach them anything about God.

Romans 10:2 For I testify about them that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge.

John5:34 But the testimony which I receive is not from man. However, I say these things that you may be saved.
others have caused much suffering and evil towards fellowman.

John.5:38 You don't have his word living in you; because you don't believe him whom he sent. 5:39 "You search the Scriptures, because you think that in them you have eternal life; and these are they which testify about me. 5:40 Yet you will not come to me, that you may have life. 5:41 I don't receive glory from men.

They could not listen to outsiders because to listen made them unclean by their law. They believed they had made themselves righteous by works of law. Yes, they were zealous by works of law, they would kill the Son of God by works of law! Subsequently, Paul makes the point under God's Holy Spirit about Israel, God went to those not even seeking them instead of those thinking they were special by heritage.

Matthew 11:29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls.

1 Corinthians 1:28 and God chose the lowly things of the world, and the things that are despised, and the things that are not, that he might bring to nothing the things that are:

The Gentles were not seeking after God for thousand's years they didn't even know God's laws, they had no great prophets giving them a perceived special privilege with God. God gave then equal privilege with Israel, for a kingdom of Priest to rule with his Son Christ Jesus. Sadly, there is nothing new under the Sun, two thousand years later we have Christendom sitting as a queen boasting in her special position with Christ.

Revelation 18:7 However much she glorified herself, and grew wanton, so much give her of torment and mourning. For she says in her heart, 'I sit a queen, and am no widow, and will in no way see mourning.'

She has no faith in God, she has faith in her bible scholars, her priest, her massive wealth, and land holding, all looks like she is blessed of God for those of the flesh. She shines for those seeking glory of men upon earth. The apostle Paul watched this same spirit creeping into the Gentle whom were enamor with the glory of Israel and its righteous laws. They wanted worship in powerful government, high sounding position, and power in institutional religion.

Galatians 5:6 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision amounts to anything, nor uncircumcision, but faith working through love.

Galatians 3:26 For you are all children of God, through faith in Christ Jesus.

Galatians 3:14 that the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Christ Jesus; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

But what God had given them was the greatest of all privileges ever offer to mankind, still, human nature under sin flows like a river downward into an sea of wickedness. The need for man approval by the powerful was greater than God approval by faith, unseen by this world, the need not to suffer for righteousness was greater than the hard road of being rejected by the wise of this world. Following Christ was no easy course, it meant they to would appear as failures to this world, rejected, and hated. Christ could not be mixed with worldly love, worshiping in Spirit and truth must be maintained by God Holy Spirit, without yeast of self-glory.

1 John 2:16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, isn't the Father's, but is the world's.

1 Peter 4:1 Forasmuch then as Christ suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same mind; for he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin;

Colossians 2:13 You were dead through your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh. He made you alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses.
