Sin No More!

John 5:14 Afterward Jesus found him in the temple, and said to him, "Behold, you are made well. Sin no more, so that nothing worse happens to you."

What a powerful statement by the Son of God to a man he just healed; telling him to sin no more, or something worst would not happen to him. This statement for those loving works of law is worshiped. They use Christ words time and again to support their religious cleanness.

1 Peter 3:21 This is a symbol of baptism, which now saves you--not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

But the real question we should be asking ourselves instead of looking for some tool adding to our arsenal for judging others, should be? Can any person stop sinning? Do we believe our bible, I mean all of our bible, not just select scriptures to support our personal agenda?

1 John 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

Ecclesiastes 7:20 Surely there is not a righteous man on earth, who does good and doesn't sin.

In others words, if people didn't uses the power of guilt from sin would there be any need for organized religion? Do we love truth enough to honestly look at all the truth of the scriptures, or do we like so many uses the scriptures to support our position, so we can think we are better than others because we don't sin in some area that others do?

Matt.7:1 "Don't judge, so that you won't be judged.
7:2 For with whatever judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with whatever measure you measure, it will be measured to you. 7:3 Why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but don't consider the beam that is in your own eye?

Condoning Sin

Those that live in fear that humans will sin if they don't personally remind them by enforciing God's commandments; which is usually those using the scriptures having a moral obligation to come down hard on sinners thinking this is what Christ was doing when telling this man to “sin no more.”

John 8:7 But when they continued asking him, he looked up and said to them, "He who is without sin among you, let him throw the first stone at her."

First, don't be fooled, no where within God's written word can a person born into sin, stop sinning, search if you will, the bible teaches that if we state we have no sin, we are a liar. So without this context, and/or understanding of sin, Christ words will makes no sense accept to scare people into letting those using scriptures to actually enslave them into sin, by gaining power over them for some personal glory. Secondly, the person making such strong excretion can't themselves stop sinning according to the scriptures.

Romans 3:10 As it is written, "There is no one righteous; no, not one.

1.) the first truth; God never condones sin, all sin is evil, and equal, bring death to all mankind, even those honor as religiously righteous having so called perfect life upon earth in their religion. The small and the great sin, none can stop by their own efforts.

2.) Secondly, our standing with God, that is, being righteous is not by works of law, it is by one thing, our faith.

3.) Thirdly, redemption mean God pays for our sins by giving us a life to pay the price for our sin. Anything less than this mocks God's great sacrifice given too us freely from his efforts and love.

Romans 5:15 But the free gift isn't like the trespass. For if by the trespass of the one the many died, much more did the grace of God, and the gift by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, abound to the many.

Subsequently, if our understanding does not fall within these pillars of simple basic foundation truths of Christ we are then teaching that we can stop sinning by our own efforts.

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Faith That Declares a Person Righteous

Many falsely believe that righteous is like a scrub brush that we uses to clean off sin from our skin and hearts, so we can be righteous for that moment of that day. In other words, righteous is by my own good effort in how we apply God's laws in our lives, but is that a bible teaching, or rather self-righteous found in religious teaching to enslave oneself by works of law for an appearance of self-rightness?

Galatians 5:1 Stand firm therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and don't be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.

Such thoughts of righteousness may make us feel good in our flesh, boosting our ego, but it does not make us righteous. The righteousness the bible teaches is found in the blood of Christ redeeming us from our sins, not in redeeming ourselves by application of some law. The law's power its force is too judge us of sin, not freedom from sin, it did not remove sin, it actually enhanced it; does that shock you?

Romans 7:13 Did then that which is good become death to me? May it never be! But sin, that it might be shown to be sin, by working death to me through that which is good; that through the commandment sin might become exceeding sinful.

Lets qualify that statement, do you teach people they can stop sinning by God's law by the application of knowledge from their bibles? Yet, the bible teaches the law did not decrease our sins, but amplified proving we could not stop sinning, but instead the law was given so we might see our true condition as a sinner?

Romans 7:8 But sin, finding occasion through the commandment, produced in me all kinds of coveting. For apart from the law, sin is dead.

In other words, if one cannot stop sinning than they must put faith in whom and what to be saved? It could not be in our own ability by applying the law, but instead the blood of Christ giving us freedom from sin by God's unmerited kindness towards us!

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Our faith is not in the laws that condemns sinner, (any law proving we sin) or in a teacher, or some religious person, nor a religion. In fact, there is no act we can do to earn a position of righteousness with God accept by putting faith in what God has declared righteous for the redemption of our sin.

Acts 4:12 There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

Romans 3:22 even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ to all and on all those who believe. For there is no distinction,

Romans 3:28 We maintain therefore that a man is justified by faith apart from the works of the law.

Subsequently, if a person loves the truth they will come to know we cannot put away the filth of our own flesh, but we can ask for a clean conscience in Christ. Clean conscience means we know God forgives us our sins, and he does so because he loves us. Having this good conscience (found in Christ life, and/or merit) we are set free from the corruption of our flesh to serve God in Spirit and truth, which teaches us God's love, as a God of love.

Titus 3:5 not by works of righteousness, which we did ourselves, but according to his mercy, he saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit,

Weak on Sin

What fleshly minded person worries about more than all else is being weak on sin. Hence, such fear drives them into perfecting the flesh by their strong teaching by commandments/laws to bring the flesh into subjection putting away the sins, and/or filth of the flesh. The subjection is a lie, it may make those promoting this lie feel better about the filth of their own flesh, that is, doing something good for God's righteous ways, and by teaching such lies, but it does not make a person a non-sinner, nor does it make them righteous putting the person in any better standing/position with God.

James 3:14 But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your heart, don't boast and don't lie against the truth.

1 Corinthians 4:7 For who makes you different? And what do you have that you didn't receive? But if you did receive it, why do you boast as if you had not received it?

The laws power is sin, now lets say that one more time, the application of the law gives more power to what? Let us remember, the law did have much power in the hands of men, but it only created greater sin, not less. It was designed to drive the flesh into the an admission It was a sinner, and unrighteous with no why to save itself from the corruption of sin in the flesh proven by the power proven by the application of the law!

Rom.7:18 For I know that in me, that is, in my flesh, dwells no good thing. For desire is present with me, but I don't find it doing that which is good. 7:19 For the good which I desire, I don't do; but the evil which I don't desire, that I practice. 7:20 But if what I don't desire, that I do, it is no more I that do it, but sin which dwells in me. 7:21 I find then the law, that, to me, while I desire to do good, evil is present. 7:22 For I delight in God's law after the inward man, 7:23 but I see a different law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity under the law of sin which is in my members. 7:24 What a wretched man I am! Who will deliver me out of the body of this death? 7:25 I thank God through Jesus Christ, our Lord! So then with the mind, I myself serve God's law, but with the flesh, the sin's law.

A person standing with God is found in Christ, Christ gained us standing with God, by his own righteousness. There is no God authorized righteousness outside of Christ righteousness for a Christian. Our gainning Christ is by one thing, our faith in him, not in our righteousness based upon a scored card by how well we do, or did on any certain date in keep some part of the law that makes us feel good about our flesh.

1Cor.4:3 But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged by you, or by man's judgment. Yes, I don't judge my own self. 4:4 For I know nothing against myself. Yet I am not justified by this, but he who judges me is the Lord. 4:5 Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord comes, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and reveal the counsels of the hearts. Then each man will get his praise from God.

All of us are weak in sin in our flesh (according to God's judgment of our condition by his righteous law, why? Because we cannot stop sinning without God intervention in giving us a legally means to redeem ourselves by our faith, when we put faith in God's love, that is, in his mercy and promises towards us.

In others words, does a person have Christ righteousness? That is not a trick question? We are not talking about laws righteousness, or our good standing in some religion, do we have Christ righteousness in us, by his life, the Christ indwelling us?

1Cor.1:29 that no flesh should boast before God. 1:30 But of him, you are in Christ Jesus, who was made to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption: 1:31 that, according as it is written, "He who boasts, let him boast in the Lord."{Jeremiah 9:24}

Now if we can answer that question honestly than there is a powerful question we need to answer, do we think Christ righteousness is weak on sin? Christ righteousness removed sin once for all time he conquered this worlds unrighteousness by sin. Unfortunately, those walking in flesh, and trying to perfect their own flesh which cannot be made clean by laws, or harsh treatments of their flesh; Instead they confuse their own efforts, that is, their own righteousness with Christ righteousness making Christ righteousness weak by polluting it and judging it by the actions of their own flesh, which is unrighteous an every changing like a shadow under a large tree.

2 Corinthians 12:9 He has said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me.

Ephesians 3:7 of which I was made a servant, according to the gift of that grace of God which was given me according to the working of his power.

Ephesians 3:16 that he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, that you may be strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inward man;

James 1:13 Let no man say when he is tempted, "I am tempted by God," for God can't be tempted by evil, and he himself tempts no one. 1:14 But each one is tempted, when he is drawn away by his own lust, and enticed. 1:15 Then the lust, when it has conceived, bears sin; and the sin, when it is full grown, brings forth death. 1:16 Don't be deceived, my beloved brothers.
1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow.
1:18 Of his own will he brought us forth by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of first fruits of his creatures. 1:19 So, then, my beloved brothers, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger;

Hence, they think Christ working in a person for righteousness must be added too by law that are strong on the flesh. In other words, Christ is not enough, they must complete Christ righteousness by their own good efforts in making the flesh righteous by laws punishing flesh for its sins, which punishment is death according to God's laws!

Romans 8:5 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.

Romans 8:6 For the mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace;

Romans 8:7 because the mind of the flesh is hostile towards God; for it is not subject to God's law, neither indeed can it be.

Romans 8:8 Those who are in the flesh can't please God.

Romans 8:9 But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if it is so that the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if any man doesn't have the Spirit of Christ, he is not his.

These same Christian's are tenacious for making others righteous by works of law, works within their religious group. It becomes an obsession to where every little whim becomes an evil motivate to taske one away from the purity of their religion, away from keeping the flesh in subjection to the rule of law found only in their group. Thus, Christ is nothing, he has no power in his living life or in his kingdom, Christ kingdom is nothing more than a manifestion through thm by the power of self-will, not God's will working in us!

Romans 9:8 That is, it is not the children of the flesh who are children of God, but the children of the promise are counted as a seed.

Romans 13:14 But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, for its lusts.

2 Corinthians 3:3 being revealed that you are a letter of Christ, served by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tablets of stone, but in tablets that are hearts of flesh.

The Power of The Flesh in Christ

What is the power of the flesh in Christ? Can you answer that question? It is a fair question because if one says they can make their flesh not sin, or sin no more than Christ should then strengthen our flesh by his powerful position as king over all creation, that is, by his own life, correct?

2 Corinthians 5:16 Therefore we know no one after the flesh from now on. Even though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now we know him so no more.

But does he strengthen our flesh so we can perfect it upon earth, so we may look good to unbelievers? Isn't that the point of perfecting our flesh so we can look good to other flesh? But does Christ perfect our flesh, or does he kill it? Is the flesh of any uses in serving God?

2 Corinthians 10:3 For though we walk in the flesh, we don't wage war according to the flesh;

Galatians 2:16 yet knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, even we believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ, and not by the works of the law, because no flesh will be justified by the works of the law.

Galatians 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I that live, but Christ living in me. That life which I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself up for me.

First, there is no power of sin (flesh) in Christ, the power of sin is found in our flesh not in Christ (spirit), for our flesh is dead in Christ. Don't be fooled, fleshly perfecttion from sin its not a biblical teachings in Christ. The entire issues of the Greek scriptures is the destruction of our flesh and our living in the Spirit (Christ). There is no perfecting of the flesh, in fact, those loving Christ are rejected by the fleshly person, and are hated by those religiously perfecting their flesh. Christ in his flesh, was hated, and looked like a sinner to those judging him by the power of the law over the flesh. He looked plagued by God, not righteous, and for that reason he was murder as an unrighteous sinner by those judging his flesh upon earth!

Isa.53:3 He was despised, and rejected by men; a man of suffering, and acquainted with disease. He was despised as one from whom men hide their face; and we didn't respect him. 53:4 Surely he has borne our sickness, and carried our suffering; yet we considered him plagued, struck by God, and afflicted. 53:5 But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed. 53:6 All we like sheep have gone astray. Everyone has turned to his own way; and Yahweh has laid on him the iniquity of us all.

Sin No More!

For the man Christ healed for him to sin no more he would of had to go to the temple, and put faith in the blood offering. He than would be righteousness before God, purchased from his sin temporarily, that is, for a year. The man would have to put faith in God as good, and as merciful, believing and trusting by faith in his power and his mercy as his king.

Matt.22:36 "Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the law?" 22:37 Jesus said to him, "'You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.'{Deuteronomy 6:5} 22:38 This is the first and great commandment. 22:39 A second likewise is this, 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.'{Leviticus 19:18}

The power of Christ healing of him increased his faith in a God that loved him, and knew of his sickness. This should have moved his heart to honor God in his life. (which means keeping the law, and the only way one could keep the law was by blood for his forgiveness) The mercy found in the blood gave him God's righteousness this alone should have built his faith in the forgiving of others that had sinned against him. (unmerited kindness, not earned)

All his works should point to God goodness and greatness, not his own, he could not boast in his flesh, in saying: “look how special I am, I must have been better than other a less sinner, and/or having more faith because Christ healed me”!

No! He could not boast in his flesh, in everyway, he must honor God for his healing which should point him to the greater healing being cleansed by the blood on the altar for his sins, and/or instead being accounted lawless without the blood, for all sin is lawlessness, and it is only the blood which makes a person law abiding before God.

1 John 3:6 Whoever remains in him doesn't sin. Whoever sins hasn't seen him, neither knows him.

1 John 3:4 Everyone who sins also commits lawlessness. Sin is lawlessness.

Moved to Undeserved Kindness

Those made righteous by Christ life should be moved to undeserved kindness towards others, and walk in it the rest of their lives. They should not honor themselves, and their works, they should not boast in their flesh in how many wonderful works they have done in adding to Christ.

1 Corinthians 5:6 Your boasting is not good. Don't you know that a little yeast leavens the whole lump?

Luke 13:21 It is like yeast, which a woman took and hid in three measures{literally, three sata. 3 sata is about 39 litres or a bit more than a bushel} of flour, until it was all leavened."

We have been made righteous not by our flesh, even if we think we can stop sinning, but rather we should humbly think we cannot stop sinning so we need God's love. God's love is without bad motive it does not impute evil, that is unrighteousness, or have hidden clauses that the flesh can uses for fleshly teachings to enslave others to their will. Hence imputing evil to God. We must freely and wholly trust in God's promises, putting total faith in him alone, as good, and as love. We must live in appreciation for his great love shown us by his mercy towards mankind, how?

James 1:16 Don't be deceived, my beloved brothers.
1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow. 1:18 Of his own will he brought us forth by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of first fruits of his creatures. 1:19 So, then, my beloved brothers, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger; 1:20 for the anger of man doesn't produce the righteousness of God.

By faith in Christ we stop sinning, why? Because God purchased us by the precious blood of Christ removing our sins of flesh by killing its own fleshly judgments, that is, not accounting our sins of the flesh against us. He puts us to death, from his judgments (flesh representing our old life born into sin), burying our sins forever in the sea to be accounted no more.)

Matt.18:22 Jesus said to him, "I don't tell you until seven times, but, until seventy times seven. 18:23 Therefore the Kingdom of Heaven is like a certain king, who wanted to reconcile accounts with his servants. 18:24 When he had begun to reconcile, one was brought to him who owed him ten thousand talents.{Ten thousand talents represents an extremely large sum of money, equivalent to about 60,000,000 denarii, where one denarius was typical of one day's wages for agricultural labor.} 18:25 But because he couldn't pay, his lord commanded him to be sold, with his wife, his children, and all that he had, and payment to be made. 18:26 The servant therefore fell down and kneeled before him, saying, 'Lord, have patience with me, and I will repay you all!'
18:27 The lord of that servant, being moved with compassion, released him, and forgave him the debt. 18:28 "But that servant went out, and found one of his fellow servants, who owed him one hundred denarii,{100 denarii was about one sixtieth of a talent.} and he grabbed him, and took him by the throat, saying, 'Pay me what you owe!' 18:29 "So his fellow servant fell down at his feet and begged him, saying, 'Have patience with me, and I will repay you!' 18:30 He would not, but went and cast him into prison, until he should pay back that which was due. 18:31 So when his fellow servants saw what was done, they were exceedingly sorry, and came and told to their lord all that was done. 18:32 Then his lord called him in, and said to him, 'You wicked servant! I forgave you all that debt, because you begged me. 18:33 Shouldn't you also have had mercy on your fellow servant, even as I had mercy on you?'
18:34 His lord was angry, and delivered him to the tormentors, until he should pay all that was due to him.
18:35 So my heavenly Father will also do to you, if you don't each forgive your brother from your hearts for his misdeeds."

Those of flesh love accounting the sins of others as a debt for putting down and control by resurrecting the power of sin through laws to judge and control others for personal agendas (gains). They have no faith in the power of Christ righteousness in their brothers and sisters, they chose to see the evil of sin by laws that clearly point them out, then they command others to put away the filth of the flesh, or teaching they are rejected by God, something the bible itself says is impossible to do without living a lie!

1 John 4:21 This commandment we have from him, that he who loves God should also love his brother.

1 John 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear has punishment. He who fears is not made perfect in love.

1 John 4:16 We know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and he who remains in love remains in God, and God remains in him.
1 John 4:11 Beloved, if God loved us in this way, we also ought to love one another.

All salvation than becomes by the flesh and the power of the flesh, not by faith in God, and the power of Spirit which actually saves us, and has given birth too us as God's sons. Without the power of the flesh false religion would go off the track it would loss its power that pulls the train of destruction down the tracks to Hades. Fales religion teaches God as a Father whom accidentally gives birth to children leaving them in the hands of men to discipline and train his children. Religious men that teach the perfection of the flesh of God's children making their flesh holy and righteous by their own religious works.

Rom.8:29 For whom he foreknew, he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.{The word for "brothers" here and where context allows may also be correctly translated "brothers and sisters" or "siblings."} 8:30 Whom he predestined, those he also called. Whom he called, those he also justified. Whom he justified, those he also glorified. 8:31 What then shall we say about these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 8:32 He who didn't spare his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how would he not also with him freely give us all things? 8:33 Who could bring a charge against God's chosen ones? It is God who justifies. 8:34 Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, yes rather, who was raised from the dead, who is at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.

Let each person searching for God be called to mind that we worship in Spirit and truth, that means, we worship in faith, not sight (flesh), we must go this hard course by faith, and finish it by faith. A faith that conquers this world, which is a world of flesh existing by the power of works of law through the self-will of mankind.

John 16:13 However when he, the Spirit of truth, has come, he will guide you into all truth, for he will not speak from himself; but whatever he hears, he will speak. He will declare to you things that are coming.
John 7:17 If anyone desires to do his will, he will know about the teaching, whether it is from God, or if I am speaking from myself.

John 6:39 This is the will of my Father who sent me, that of all he has given to me I should lose nothing, but should raise him up at the last day.

John 6:38 For I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will, but the will of him who sent me.
