Judging The Son of God

1 Chronicles 16:33 Then the trees of the forest will sing for joy before Yahweh, for he comes to judge the earth.

Events happen everyday throughout the nations of our earth in judging. Yes, careers are created, and ruined over judging others. The aspiring attorney's dreams of the one big case that he or she can land that sky rockets them into media attention making them the next super star among the greats in the legal world.

James 5:9 Don't grumble, brothers, against one another, so that you won't be judged. Behold, the judge stands at the door.

But what would a person trade to judge the greatest man that ever walked this earth the Christ, the Son of God? Who would wants such a job, who would fill those shoes to judge the one man ever to be called perfect and righteous by God YHWH? Such a scenario seem impossible, but it happened causing the unlawful murder of the Son of God.

John 18:31 Pilate therefore said to them, "Take him yourselves, and judge him according to your law." Therefore the Jews said to him, "It is not lawful for us to put anyone to death,"

Judging For Glory

Let us cut to the chase here, sadly, in today's world as in past times people judge for a career they do some good in dealing with law breakers, but also some evil when trying to build their career. We human justify that conduct because it is the way of this world, its how one gets ahead, climbs the ladder of success, making an name for themselves.

Proverbs 20:23 Yahweh detests differing weights, and dishonest scales are not pleasing.

But is this the way of God? This is an important question for those boasting in being a Christian's. Does a Christian's judge to build a career, to gain prominence, to be honored among others? Let it be said; judging of any kind for a Christian's means eternal life, and/or eternal death.

Matthew 12:36 I tell you that every idle word that men speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment.

John 5:29 and will come out; those who have done good, to the resurrection of life; and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of judgment.

It is about the most serious position anyone of us can take, the judging of someone righteous and/or unrighteous.

Romans 2:3 Do you think this, O man who judges those who practice such things, and do the same, that you will escape the judgment of God?

The Cause and Effect of Judging Christ

What caused man to judge the sinless Son of God? Simply put, cutting through all the justification, they thought they had a right to judge him! In other words, if you are a judge that is your job, if your an attorney that's the job you have helping convict a person, and/or getting the person off from judgment.

Romans 3:4 May it never be! Yes, let God be found true, but every man a liar. As it is written, "That you might be justified in your words, and might prevail when you come into judgment."{Psalm 51:4}

However, what many Christian's fail to understand it was not just those in charge who judged the Christ, but also the people in general had part of his judgment. Here we must come to grips with truth of our fallen nature, it is to judge others, we think we have a right to do so because of knowledge we have gained in life.

John 5:39 "You search the Scriptures, because you think that in them you have eternal life; and these are they which testify about me.

If we have a religion that religion gives us the right to judge others who don't live up to bible standards, or our religions standards, if we have a position of authority we must judge other conduct, works habits, as good or bad. for that is what the job requires.

However, we should understand that same nature judged a perfect man, the one man God declared to be righteous upon earth without sin? In other words, the highest court, the creator of mankind stated that his son was without judgment, who then would be so presumptuous to judge such a man?

Jude 1:8 Yet in like manner these also in their dreaming defile the flesh, despise authority, and slander celestial beings. 1:9 But Michael, the archangel, when contending with the devil and arguing about the body of Moses, dared not bring against him an abusive condemnation, but said, "May the Lord rebuke you!"

The Effect

The cause comes from sin in all of us, and the views of this world, which claims its harmless to judge others, and even honor those judge others. Can you imagine the thrill for a teacher, a judge in Israel to get the chance to judge the Christ public? Wow! How important must that person have to be to judge this man doing powerful works throughout Israel?

Matt.27:3 Then Judas, who betrayed him, when he saw that Jesus was condemned, felt remorse, and brought back the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders, 27:4 saying, "I have sinned in that I betrayed innocent blood." But they said, "What is that to us? You see to it." 27:5 He threw down the pieces of silver in the sanctuary, and departed. He went away and hanged himself.

Would they not be honored among all of Israel like the great prophets of old? Would they not make for themselves a lasting name as a judge that brought down this apostate?

Matt.27:11 Now Jesus stood before the governor: and the governor asked him, saying, "Are you the King of the Jews?" Jesus said to him, "So you say." 27:12 When he was accused by the chief priests and elders, he answered nothing. 27:13 Then Pilate said to him, "Don't you hear how many things they testify against you?" 27:14 He gave him no answer, not even one word, so that the governor marveled greatly.

What a chance to prove to everyone how righteous and upright a judge this person really is? Yes, they ran for the chance to judge Christ. If they had been approached by the top leaders of their religion asking if they could be fair and impartial judge, of course they could!

Proverbs 20:6 Many men claim to be men of unfailing love, but who can find a faithful man?

But who was qualified to judge the Christ is the real question? Can a sinner judge a righteous man fairly? What point of view would they have to judge by? More importantly, what would such a judgment cost the person, and those upholding it?

1 John 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

James 2:9 But if you show partiality, you commit sin, being convicted by the law as transgressors.

1 Peter 2:22 who did not sin, "neither was deceit found in his mouth."{Isaiah 53:9}

History records the effects of the nation of Israel in judging Christ, it cost them the destruction of their nations, and all the glory once given to that nations by God's own glory. Nothing good can come from judging a righteous man, a man declared righteous by God himself!

Romans 3:15 "Their feet are swift to shed blood.

Luke 11:50 that the blood of all the prophets, which was shed from the foundation of the world, may be required of this generation;

Luke 11:51 from the blood of Abel to the blood of Zachariah, who perished between the altar and the sanctuary.' Yes, I tell you, it will be required of this generation.

Act. 2:22 "Men of Israel, hear these words! Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved by God to you by mighty works and wonders and signs which God did by him in the midst of you, even as you yourselves know, 2:23 him, being delivered up by the determined counsel and foreknowledge of God, you have taken by the hand of lawless men, crucified and killed;

Judging Righteously

As sinners, which we all of us are, we judges for many motives, from good, the words of God, but also evil the fruits of sin, which is the desire of ones own flesh. A sinner cannot remove his hand from unrighteousness (sin), by declaring that his or her motives are pure. Mankind can clearly judge the flesh of other person because they are cut from the same clothe, sin, but how does one judge someone not a sinner?

Rom.8:33 Who could bring a charge against God's chosen ones? It is God who justifies. 8:34 Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, yes rather, who was raised from the dead, who is at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.

Here is a little known fact most Christian's overlook. A sinless person does not impute evil of sin to others, but instead good, why? Nor does God impute sin too them, why? Because Christ like God knew the condition of sin and the ignorance sin which causes all of us faulty judgments. God for this reason gave us the only hope is giving out good when evil is done by sinners too us.

1Cor.13:4 Love is patient and is kind; love doesn't envy. Love doesn't brag, is not proud, 13:5 doesn't behave itself inappropriately, doesn't seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil; 13:6 doesn't rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; 13:7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 13:8 Love never fails.

Having said that, the problem exist for Israel in that it was under laws for sinners, all the law could do is point up the sins in us impute evil too us. However, the law itself was not evil for doing so, it was not created with evil intentions towards sinners. It was the law of life, those keeping it faithfully were rewards by the law with eternal life, but only one could Christ Jesus.

1Tim.1:7 desiring to be teachers of the law, though they understand neither what they say, nor about what they strongly affirm. 1:8 But we know that the law is good, if a man uses it lawfully,
1:9 as knowing this, that law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and insubordinate, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, 1:10 for the sexually immoral, for homosexuals, for slave-traders, for liars, for perjurers, and for any other thing contrary to the sound doctrine;

In other words, God did not give Israel the law because he returned evil for evil, no! God giving of the law was for Israel good, how? By helping each member therein understand the condition of sin at work in them, and then give each one of them a way out of sins. If man chose to justify their sins by comparing their sin to other sinner; feeling, and/or believing they were better, then God could never help them. They must be helped by God's means of justification, God did not offer us self-salvation through our good efforts (works of law).

Rom.7:5 For when we were in the flesh, the sinful passions which were through the law, worked in our members to bring forth fruit to death.

Rom.7:7 What shall we say then? Is the law sin? May it never be! However, I wouldn't have known sin, except through the law. For I wouldn't have known coveting, unless the law had said, "You shall not covet."{Exodus 20:17; Deuteronomy 5:21}

If man would continue in his system of judging by degrees of sin, they would never learn that all sin is really death to God, any condition of sin is death to God. No person having eternal life can have it unless their sins are removed through justification by God. Would man chose self-righteousness, which means self-rightness; choosing for himself what is good and evil (right or wrong), or submit to God's righteousness that teach us what is actually good learning the law of love, not the law of sin?

Rom.8:5 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. 8:6 For the mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace;

This is why man compounds death unwittingly when he judges from laws that only prove we are dead to God because of our sins, calling such judging righteous, and good. In other words, we unwittingly return evil for evil not realizing what we are actually doing? When Christ was brought before men enforcing the law they could only examine him with evil intentions; laws created for sinners, exaiming from sin does not help a person without sin, its starts from a lie, and is completed in a lie!

Matthew 6:23 But if your eye is evil, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is the darkness!

Matthew 7:11 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him!

Matthew 12:34 You offspring of vipers, how can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks.

Matthew 12:35 The good man out of his good treasure brings out good things, and the evil man out of his evil treasure{TR adds "of the heart"} brings out evil things.

1 Timothy 6:4 he is conceited, knowing nothing, but obsessed with arguments, disputes, and word battles, from which come envy, strife, reviling, evil suspicions.

James 4:12 Only one is the lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy. But who are you to judge another?

The law enforcers must find evil in Christ, sin, to convict him of evil by the laws condemnation of sin! But Christ was sinless, the law was not created for a righteous man, but unrighteous men, all of us! What is unrighteous, cannot judge righteousness, correctly? Sinner must judge from its own motives, imputing those motives into Christ, but are actually their own motivates and feelings.

James.1:23 For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man looking at his natural face in a mirror; 1:24 for he sees himself, and goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. 1:25 But he who looks into the perfect law of freedom, and continues, not being a hearer who forgets, but a doer of the work, this man will be blessed in what he does.

They must peer into a prefect mirror seeing only their reflection by self-judgment decieving themselve by use of God's word the bible forgetting their own sins condemned by the same laws. Subsequently, they judge themselves worthy of eternal life, while judging the mirrior evil, but instead get the full recompense of their judgment of sins by imputing sins too Christ! Their judgment could not go on Christ or into him who was sinless (a perfect mirrior sinless), it must go upon them and their evil intentions, which they had declared pure and righteous. God has sent them good, removing their own judgment, but they return to God evil, declaring his own son a wicked man!

James 1:13 Let no man say when he is tempted, "I am tempted by God," for God can't be tempted by evil, and he himself tempts no one. 1:14 But each one is tempted, when he is drawn away by his own lust, and enticed. 1:15 Then the lust, when it has conceived, bears sin; and the sin, when it is full grown, brings forth death. 1:16 Don't be deceived, my beloved brothers.
1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow. 1:18 Of his own will he brought us forth by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of first fruits of his creatures. 1:19 So, then, my beloved brothers, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger; 1:20 for the anger of man doesn't produce the righteousness of God.

Stop Judging

Is judgment life, it can be, if we come to life after our death from judgment of sin. But judging to judge sin and then continuing in judgment of sin is death, it cannot be life. Its like going to a doctor with a incurable disease the doctor fines the disease telling us, we are dying, but gives us nothing to cure it! The doctor does not erratic it, moreover, every-time we go to the doctor gives us yet another diagnosis of death, and then charges us again for his services!

Heb.6:1 Therefore leaving the doctrine of the first principles of Christ, let us press on to perfection--not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works, of faith toward God, 6:2 of the teaching of baptisms, of laying on of hands, of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. 6:3 This will we do, if God permits.

Yes, we are as good as dead, we know that, but what is the cure? The cure is Christ Jesus who removes our judgment of sin, death, giving us a whole new life, his life, killing our old disease life, erraticing it by a new birth into his righteous new life free from sin and death!

Ephesians 2:15 having abolished in the flesh the hostility, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, that he might create in himself one new man of the two, making peace;

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new.

The truth of Christ is the joy of being freed of death (sin), but if we run out and start returning evil to our brothers and sister by enforcing the laws of death upon them, the same diagnosis of death. Subsequently, even if we don't understand what it means to return evil for good it is nevertheless being done by us?

Genesis 3:5 for God knows that in the day you eat it, your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil."

James 5:13 Is any among you suffering? Let him pray. Is any cheerful? Let him sing praises. 5:14 Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, 5:15 and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.
5:16 Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective.

James 5:9 Don't grumble, brothers, against one another, so that you won't be judged. Behold, the judge stands at the door.

James 4:11 Don't speak against one another, brothers. He who speaks against a brother and judges his brother, speaks against the law and judges the law. But if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law, but a judge. 4:12 Only one is the lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy. But who are you to judge another?

1John 1:11 Beloved, don't imitate that which is evil, but that which is good. He who does good is of God. He who does evil hasn't seen God.

Jude 1:10 But these speak evil of whatever things they don't know. What they understand naturally, like the creatures without reason, they are destroyed in these things.

This is why Christ stated to stop judging, if not we will get the same measure put upon us, why? Because those in Christ have been declared righteous, that is, sinless by God, why? Because they had been given undeserved kindness the life of Christ, he being sinless, thus, the gift of life impute too us by His great love. Furthermore, this is the issue found throughout the entire Greek writings of the apostles resisting those wanting to return evil for good, and not bearing up under evil, so good may come by God's love.

1 John 3:12 unlike Cain, who was of the evil one, and killed his brother. Why did he kill him? Because his works were evil, and his brother's righteous.

1 Peter 3:10 For, "He who would love life, and see good days, let him keep his tongue from evil, and his lips from speaking deceit.

1 Peter 3:9 not rendering evil for evil, or reviling for reviling; but instead blessing; knowing that to this were you called, that you may inherit a blessing.

Imputing good when evil is done to us. In other words, stop our judgments through the religious ignorance towards others not under the new law of love, still using the laws of death. We suffer as Christ suffered in his flesh, we don't unlike the world compare our good efforts against theirs thinking and boasting thinking we are more righteous. No! We understand the truth of our condition by God showing us his kindness removing our deserved judgment by sending us his love, Christ Jesus.

Titus.3:1 Remind them to be in subjection to rulers and to authorities, to be obedient, to be ready for every good work, 3:2 to speak evil of no one, not to be contentious, to be gentle, showing all humility toward all men. 3:3 For we were also once foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another. 3:4 But when the kindness of God our Savior and his love toward mankind appeared, 3:5 not by works of righteousness, which we did ourselves, but according to his mercy, he saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit, 3:6 whom he poured out on us richly, through Jesus Christ our Savior; 3:7 that, being justified by his grace, we might be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life. 3:8 This saying is faithful, and concerning these things I desire that you affirm confidently, so that those who have believed God may be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable to men;

We too are surrounded by our own sins, we understand that we must do good towards the wicked, by imputing the life of Christ too them, rather we think they are deserving or not? In this, we prove Satan a liar, and do not chose good, and evil by our judgments of sins laws, but choose only the good of God whom will judge perfectly all matters in heaven and earth by his perfect image created by God for us sinner Christ Jesus.

Matt.5:43 "You have heard that it was said, 'You shall love your neighbor,{Leviticus 19:18} and hate your enemy.{not in the Bible, but see Qumran Manual of Discipline Ix, 21-26}' 5:44 But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you, 5:45 that you may be children of your Father who is in heaven. For he makes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the just and the unjust. 5:46 For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? Don't even the tax collectors do the same? 5:47 If you only greet your friends, what more do you do than others? Don't even the tax collectors do the same? 5:48 Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.

If we have life, let us judge life to others, let us walk in Christ humility knowing only one is good, the one who make all things good by his love.

Revelation 12:11 They overcame him because of the Lamb's blood, and because of the word of their testimony. They didn't love their life, even to death.

2 John 1:6 This is love, that we should walk according to his commandments. This is the commandment, even as you heard from the beginning, that you should walk in it.

ohn 15:10 If you keep my commandments, you will remain in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and remain in his love.

John 15:12 "This is my commandment, that you love one another, even as I have loved you.
