Lord's Evening Meal

John 5:41 I don't receive glory from men.

On March 23, 2016, million upon millions of people will go to a local kingdom halls of Jehovah's Witnesses to commemorate Christ death, which is called the Lord's Evening Meal.

During that talk and meal everyone in attendance will be offered the symbols of Christ Jesus death, the bread, and the wine, symbolizing his flesh and blood, representing his life given to all as God's free gift of His love to mankind.

John 14:17 the Spirit of truth, whom the world can't receive; for it doesn't see him, neither knows him. You know him, for he lives with you, and will be in you.

However, only a very small group out of the millions will partake of those symbols of Christ death. It will be only a small group that will present themselves before men, and woman declaring themselves righteous enough to partake of Christ emblems, as his body members, the living temple of God on earth. With their publicly declaration comes the judgment of those not partaking, whom are not worthy enough to take the symbols of Christ death bread and wine, according to the Watch Tower Societies teaching.

John 12:47 If anyone listens to my sayings, and doesn't believe, I don't judge him. For I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.

John.7:2 Now the feast of the Jews, the Feast of Booths, was at hand. 7:3 His brothers therefore said to him, "Depart from here, and go into Judea, that your disciples also may see your works which you do. 7:4 For no one does anything in secret, and himself seeks to be known openly. If you do these things, reveal yourself to the world." 7:5 For even his brothers didn't believe in him.

John.7:10 But when his brothers had gone up to the feast, then he also went up, not publicly, but as it were in secret.

Seeking Glory of Man by Works of Law

Those not meeting the appearance of righteous before man, that is, in the flesh ( by age, WTS recognition, and so on. . .) will have their motives question secretly by those in attendance not partaking. Moreover, those partaking will consider themselves persecuted for righteousness sake believing they have shown great courage to go before men and show they belong to Christ, and his kingdom, as his body members. The public talk, the greater part of it given on that night will be about who can and can't partake of the emblems of Christ death.

Rev.22:17 The Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" He who hears, let him say, "Come!" He who is thirsty, let him come. He who desires, let him take the water of life freely. 22:18 I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book, if anyone adds to them, may God add to him the plagues which are written in this book. 22:19 If anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, may God take away his part from the tree of life, and out of the holy city, which are written in this book.

In other words, despite the glory of what God and Christ has given us out of love freely, the entire meeting is about judgment, and restricting those of the greater number not too partake; judging whom is worthy or not worthy of taking the emblems. One must understand, such judgment is part and partial of the faith of all Jehovah's Witness, and must be accepted to be a member, but why?

Romans 8:5 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.

Works of Law

Worthiness, and acceptance as a member of the Watch Tower Society is about proving oneself by works, rules, and laws the Governing Body set over all its members. It not about being worthy because Christ died for us, but rather how each member proves themselves righteous by the works they do. How does flesh prove its worthiness, and/or righteous, if its not by sight? Watching the outward appearance of those in charge, by seeing what they do, and than emulating their actions.

1 John 3:10 In this the children of God are revealed, and the children of the devil. Whoever doesn't do righteousness is not of God, neither is he who doesn't love his brother.

1 John 3:7 Little children, let no one lead you astray. He who does righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.

1 Peter 2:24 who his own self bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness; by whose stripes you were healed.

Titus 3:5 not by works of righteousness, which we did ourselves, but according to his mercy, he saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit.

Hence, righteous is then about outward appearance proven to man's judgment by the works one does. Consequently, each person partaking of the emblems of Christ death is stating wittingly or unwittingly they are better than the average Jehovah's Witness. Subsequently, the flesh finds this a put down, and does what all flesh does when consider less, or unworthy, judges others to find a fault to bring them down and make oneself equal too.

Matt.7:1 "Don't judge, so that you won't be judged. 7:2 For with whatever judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with whatever measure you measure, it will be measured to you.

1Cor.3:1 Brothers, I couldn't speak to you as to spiritual, but as to fleshly, as to babies in Christ. 3:2 I fed you with milk, not with meat; for you weren't yet ready. Indeed, not even now are you ready, 3:3 for you are still fleshly. For insofar as there is jealousy, strife, and factions among you, aren't you fleshly, and don't you walk in the ways of men? 3:4 For when one says, "I follow Paul," and another, "I follow Apollos," aren't you fleshly? 3:5 Who then is Apollos, and who is Paul, but servants through whom you believed; and each as the Lord gave to him?

This is the very conduct the apostle Paul counsel against which is promoted by class distinction at every Lord Evening Meal, practiced as a work of the flesh since 1930's by all members of the Watch Tower Society.

1Cor.11:16 But if any man seems to be contentious, we have no such custom, neither do God's assemblies. 11:17 But in giving you this command, I don't praise you, that you come together not for the better but for the worse. 11:18 For first of all, when you come together in the assembly, I hear that divisions exist among you, and I partly believe it. 11:19 For there also must be factions among you, that those who are approved may be revealed among you.
11:20 When therefore you assemble yourselves together, it is not the Lord's supper that you eat.

Promenading Righteousness

The promenading righteousness before men is powerful for the flesh, a retribution so to speak of proof of a person worth that should be accredited them that others fail to give them proper glory, and deserved respect. This is something Christ never did, one (1.) he did not seek the glory of men and their acceptance (respect) of him as the Christ, and two, (2.) man's unrighteous judgments are death, and not life so they do not matter to Christ or God.

Luke 19:22 "He said to him, 'Out of your own mouth will I judge you, you wicked servant! You knew that I am an exacting man, taking up that which I didn't lay down, and reaping that which I didn't sow.

John 3:17 For God didn't send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through him.

1Cor. 4:1 So let a man think of us as Christ's servants, and stewards of God's mysteries. 4:2 Here, moreover, it is required of stewards, that they be found faithful. 4:3 But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged by you, or by man's judgment. Yes, I don't judge my own self. 4:4 For I know nothing against myself. Yet I am not justified by this, but he who judges me is the Lord.

Christ sought but one thing, God's righteousness which is life, the very life he was indwelt with. Subsequently, those wanting life sought him, not by appearance, but for truth, these are those Christ taught words of life to. The promenading of Christ self-righteousness, and/or goodness before men would have stolen the glory from his Father, as the Devil had done in the Garden of Eden.

Matt. 6:3 But when you do merciful deeds, don't let your left hand know what your right hand does, 6:4 so that your merciful deeds may be in secret, then your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. 6:5 "When you pray, you shall not be as the hypocrites, for they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men. Most certainly, I tell you, they have received their reward. 6:6 But you, when you pray, enter into your inner chamber, and having shut your door, pray to your Father who is in secret, and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.

Yet, many of those partaking of Christ emblems seek to prove they are of Christ by man's approval, by works of the WTS, and/or to make a show they are of importance, better than those of the earthly Great Crowd giving them authority over them. They restrict their partaking once a year to the kingdom hall of Jehovah's Witnesses making a public show at a meeting given by a speaker not even of the anointed. ( Not lead by Holy Spirit as God's requirement are for knowing and teaching of His Son Christ Jesus.)

Hebrews 13:2 Don't forget to show hospitality to strangers, for in doing so, some have entertained angels without knowing it.

Galatians 2:6 But from those who were reputed to be important (whatever they were, it makes no difference to me; God doesn't show partiality to man)--they, I say, who were respected imparted nothing to me.

1 Peter 3:4 but in the hidden person of the heart, in the incorruptible adornment of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God very precious.

Colossians 3:3 For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.

Rom.8:8 Those who are in the flesh can't please God.
8:9 But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if it is so that the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if any man doesn't have the Spirit of Christ, he is not his.

Such a herd mentality was not done or taught by Christ. This thinking can be shown up when there are numerous anointed brothers and sister no longer associated with the society of Watch Tower, whom one would not put forth an effort to partake with. But rather go to a public meeting in front of others to make a show, a spectacle of their righteousness before men. Thus, one denies the Christ for a moment of glory before men.

1 Corinthians 8:1 Now concerning things sacrificed to idols: We know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffs up, but love builds up.

1 Corinthians 13:1 If I speak with the languages of men and of angels, but don't have love, I have become sounding brass, or a clanging cymbal. 13:2 If I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but don't have love, I am nothing. 13:3 If I dole out all my goods to feed the poor, and if I give my body to be burned, but don't have love, it profits me nothing. 13:4 Love is patient and is kind; love doesn't envy. Love doesn't brag, is not proud.

The question begs, when did we do it to the least one of these Christ brothers? When has status, of a meeting, become more important than our brothers life? The mark of truth Christ left us, its not a perfunctory assembling before men to make a statement, or to give someone a blessing to see one of God's last anointed on earth. No! It was love, the humiliating agony Christ suffered being rejected by all men unto death so we could be given God's love, which is the poof of discipleship we are to practice.

1 John 4:21 This commandment we have from him, that he who loves God should also love his brother.

1 John 4:11 Beloved, if God loved us in this way, we also ought to love one another.

Christ went where on his last night to give his disciples a new covenant? Into the public to make up a greater body count? No! Into an upper room hid from the public, not with a Great Crowd of none partakers to make an appearance of righteousness so they could see an anointed one.

John 5:41 I don't receive glory from men.

John 5:44 How can you believe, who receive glory from one another, and you don't seek the glory that comes from the only God?

You see, the fundamental truth of Christ is for us to be honest about our motives, to make proper judgments based upon the mind of Christ towards ourselves, to love truth, to be impartial with ourselves as we are with our brothers and sisters. To peer into the perfect law of love, as Christ did for us, on this precious night of his death.

1Cor.11:23 For I received from the Lord that which also I delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus on the night in which he was betrayed took bread. 11:24 When he had given thanks, he broke it, and said, "Take, eat. This is my body, which is broken for you. Do this in memory of me." 11:25 In the same way he also took the cup, after supper, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink, in memory of me." 11:26 For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until he comes. 11:27 Therefore whoever eats this bread or drinks the Lord's cup in a manner unworthy of the Lord will be guilty of the body and the blood of the Lord. 11:28 But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of the bread, and drink of the cup. 11:29 For he who eats and drinks in an unworthy manner eats and drinks judgment to himself, if he doesn't discern the Lord's body. 11:30 For this cause many among you are weak and sickly, and not a few sleep.

Let us further remember, Christ did not send his disciples to the synagogue for his meal, or to the temple, nor to the approval of the priest, but to his Father, who looks on in secret, to a kingdom not seen by mankind, they were to have faith, they were to be denied and hated by mankind, and its religion, but they were to be close as brothers and sisters in Christ. Who was there mother, brothers and sisters on earth? Certainly, not those judging by flesh, Certainly, not those of the world, but those doing the will of the Father in Spirit and truth.

Matthew 10:33 But whoever denies me before men, him I will also deny before my Father who is in heaven.

Matthew 16:24 Then Jesus said to his disciples, "If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

Matt.25:33 He will set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
25:34 Then the King will tell those on his right hand, 'Come, blessed of my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world;
25:35 for I was hungry, and you gave me food to eat. I was thirsty, and you gave me drink. I was a stranger, and you took me in.
25:36 I was naked, and you clothed me. I was sick, and you visited me. I was in prison, and you came to me.'
25:37 "Then the righteous will answer him, saying, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry, and feed you; or thirsty, and give you a drink?
25:38 When did we see you as a stranger, and take you in; or naked, and clothe you? 25:39 When did we see you sick, or in prison, and come to you?' 25:40 "The King will answer them, 'Most certainly I tell you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers{The word for "brothers" here may be also correctly translated "brothers and sisters" or "siblings."}, you did it to me.'

Where is the body of Christ? Whom does one share in the emblems with? Is it not in Spirit and truth? Where is Spirit and truth? Is it found in false religion upon earth? Can one have a little leaven while partaking of Christ our unleavened bread? Can one deny what has been given us freely, and than claim restriction on Christ life? Should one promenade publicly for mankind's approval, or should they be known by this world as the body so they can boast in the flesh? What reward do we seek?

1 John 4:5 They are of the world. Therefore they speak of the world, and the world hears them.

1 John 3:1 Behold, how great a love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! For this cause the world doesn't know us, because it didn't know him.

1 John 3:13 Don't be surprised, my brothers, if the world hates you.

James.3:10 Out of the same mouth comes forth blessing and cursing. My brothers, these things ought not to be so. 3:11 Does a spring send out from the same opening fresh and bitter water? 3:12 Can a fig tree, my brothers, yield olives, or a vine figs? Thus no spring yields both salt water and fresh water. 3:13 Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by his good conduct that his deeds are done in gentleness of wisdom.

The truth of God is not known by public meetings, public actions of a man or a woman. The lie starts with a public act, of being something a person is not, for what purpose? To gain the praise of men. To be accepted, to make a show of ones position, for no other reason. Those coming together come in Christ righteousness, not their own, it is first God's glory they seek not their own agenda of proving to man what they will become in God's kingdom.

Luke 9:48 and said to them, "Whoever receives this little child in my name receives me. Whoever receives me receives him who sent me. For whoever is least among you all, this one will be great."

Isaiah 53:3 He was despised, and rejected by men; a man of suffering, and acquainted with disease. He was despised as one from whom men hide their face; and we didn't respect him.

Sadly, most are not that honest, no, they seek the honor and glory given the Governing body, their mother, not the Jerusalem above. They fear the rejection of men more than the glory of God, and for that reason they persecute those they claim to love.

1 Corinthians 11:28 But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of the bread, and drink of the cup.

Luke 11:39 The Lord said to him, "Now you Pharisees cleanse the outside of the cup and of the platter, but your inward part is full of extortion and wickedness.

Luke 22:17 He received a cup, and when he had given thanks, he said, "Take this, and share it among yourselves,

Luke 22:20 Likewise, he took the cup after supper, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.

Mark 9:41 For whoever will give you a cup of water to drink in my name, because you are Christ's, most certainly I tell you, he will in no way lose his reward.

John 4:10 Jesus answered her, "If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, 'Give me a drink,' you would have asked him, and he would have given you living water."

John 4:13 Jesus answered her, "Everyone who drinks of this water will thirst again.
