Chapter 2

Heb.2:1 Therefore we ought to pay greater attention to the things that were heard, lest perhaps we drift away. 2:2 For if the word spoken through angels proved steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompense; 2:3 how will we escape if we neglect so great a salvation--which at the first having been spoken through the Lord, was confirmed to us by those who heard; 2:4 God also testifying with them, both by signs and wonders, by various works of power, and by gifts of the Holy Spirit, according to his own will?

To drift away, there are raging rivers that causes one to be swept away, but the most deceiving waters are clam! How could something drift in waters that look like a mirror, smooth, clam and peaceful? Well, one must tie off their boat or it will drift slowly away.

James 3:17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceful, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. 3:18 Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.

The gifts of God Spirit are not fleshly they are the fruit of the Spirit, but few are interest in God's fruit because it does not excite the flesh. In fact, the fruit of God's Spirit takes all the fun out of the flesh and its desires. God's Spirit kills the desires of our flesh, which flesh cannot be in subjected to God at all!

James 4:7 Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 4:8 Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. 4:9 Lament, mourn, and weep. Let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to gloom.

Gal.5:16 But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you won't fulfill the lust of the flesh. 5:17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, that you may not do the things that you desire.

Romans 8:7 because the mind of the flesh is hostile towards God; for it is not subject to God's law, neither indeed can it be.

Here than is the drift the lack of steadfasten being carried away by various teachings, theories, the latest prophecy, newest knowledge that excites the senses of our flesh. Christ speaks not by flesh, but Holy Spirit to God's children. It is interesting; were there not learned Greeks at Christ times, and the apostles times? Why did Christ not dable in some of their teaching, theories, was Christ intellectually lacking without interest in the creation being he created it? Why did he not teach his apostles about the scientific truth of our earth, the heavens, how things worked?

1Cor..1:17 For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the Good News--not in wisdom of words, so that the cross of Christ wouldn't be made void. 1:18 For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are dying, but to us who are saved it is the power of God.
1:19 For it is written, "I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, I will bring the discernment of the discerning to nothing."{Isaiah 29:14}

1Cor.1:22 For Jews ask for signs, Greeks seek after wisdom,
1:23 but we preach Christ crucified; a stumbling block to Jews, and foolishness to Greeks.

Christ was not about confusion and theories he was truth, but what truth? Not the truth the flesh is always trying so desperately to unravel, but the truth of the "Spirit", and what truth is that? That truth is free of the works or our flesh, it is the truth, the Spirit, which is God, which is truth! This is the importance of not drifting away is it not, if we are not walking in love, the Spirit, we are than in our flesh thinking it the truth, but the truth of the Spirit of God can only be known if we walk in love which is not known by this world, or is it sought after by this world, nor is the Spirit of God found in the world interest of the things. The world has the spirit of flesh these are the things our worlds is interest in and sought with lust, by the desires of the fleshly mind in all fields of human existence.

Romans 8:5 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.

Romans 8:7 because the mind of the flesh is hostile towards God; for it is not subject to God's law, neither indeed can it be.

Romans 8:8 Those who are in the flesh can't please God.

Here the brothers have been told by the writer of Hebrews the truth of Christ elevated position in glowing terms, of beauty, his power, the very glory of God. But still they were drifting away. However, at the same time those in the flesh were still fighting hard to hold on to the Jewish faith, should that not tell us something? The natural flow of the flesh is a vast ocean mislead by its own making, but the flow of Holy Spirit must be sought by faith which is weak to the flesh and its legal mind set upon research getting to the lastest truth. Holy Spirit not a light show for our flesh, it is not found in things the world seeks for in its latest excitement.

1 John 5:19 We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies in the power of the evil one.

1 John 3:1 Behold, how great a love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! For this cause the world doesn't know us, because it didn't know him.

1 John 4:13 By this we know that we remain in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit.

1 John 5:6 This is he who came by water and blood, Jesus Christ; not with the water only, but with the water and the blood. It is the Spirit who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth.

1Cor2:10 But to us, God revealed them through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. 2:11 For who among men knows the things of a man, except the spirit of the man, which is in him? Even so, no one knows the things of God, except God's Spirit. 2:12 But we received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is from God, that we might know the things that were freely given to us by God. 2:13 Which things also we speak, not in words which man's wisdom teaches, but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual things.
2:14 Now the natural man doesn't receive the things of God's Spirit, for they are foolishness to him, and he can't know them, because they are spiritually discerned. 2:15 But he who is spiritual discerns all things, and he himself is judged by no one.
2:16 "For who has known the mind of the Lord, that he should instruct him?"{Isaiah 40:13} But we have Christ's mind.

Where is the gifts of Holy Spirit, were they found in Greek philosophy, the Greeks wisdom, which was very great? Why did the truth of Spirit not appeal to those Greeks, not even God's own people the Jews? The answer is simple the Spirit kills the flesh, and its desire, it strips the flesh of its power, it takes all the fun out things for the flesh, and replaces it with the truth of the Spirit, by its fruit. These brothers had the truth, the Spirit sealed in them of God's love, but most still had a mind of the flesh, not walking in love the proof of God's Spirit!

Colossians 1:13 who delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the Kingdom of the Son of his love;

1 John 4:16 We know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and he who remains in love remains in God, and God remains in him.

John 13:34 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, just like I have loved you; that you also love one another.

John 13:35 By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another."

Gal.5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith,{or, faithfulness} 5:23 gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law. 5:24 Those who belong to Christ have crucified the flesh with its passions and lusts. 5:25 If we live by the Spirit, let's also walk by the Spirit. 5:26 Let's not become conceited, provoking one another, and envying one another.

Daily Bible Thought: He Didn't Subject The World to Come to Angels

Heb.2:5 For he didn't subject the world to come, of which we speak, to angels. 2:6 But one has somewhere testified, saying, "What is man, that you think of him? Or the son of man, that you care for him? 2:7 You made him a little lower than the angels. You crowned him with glory and honor.{TR adds "and set him over the works of your hands"} 2:8 You have put all things in subjection under his feet."{Psalm 8:4-6} For in that he subjected all things to him, he left nothing that is not subject to him. But now we don't see all things subjected to him, yet.

Now think, God created all things for man from perfect truth, perfect light which is found only in love, the purest of all thoughts and intentions without darkness of an evil or wicked thought. God did subject all his beautiful work on earth, not to angels, but Adam how much trust is that in his creation? How beautiful mankind was to be, a little lower than spirit being, having flesh and blood, but walking in Spirit and truth.

1 John 4:7 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God, and knows God.

So grand and beautiful was this creation it caused great jealousy in God's own angles, some longed to be worshiped by mankind, wanting recognition for their part in helping created the earth. But the problem was God created from love, love does not take, it owes no one a single thing, but to love them, share with them, so there can be nothing higher than love. In other words, when we go past love we must go into darkness and impute something other than love, evil!

1 John 4:16 We know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and he who remains in love remains in God, and God remains in him.

Strange is it not? The creation the angle help created speaks of this very thing, which tree envies another species of tree? Which flower longs to be another type of flower, or animal longs to be another type of animal? Truth is, envy does not exist in God, or his holy angles because they are created in love. If all things are created from God in love than life would be found in one body, the body of God, and each person would be part member in God, created as a function member for the good purpose of the whole, that is, to serve adding too the whole, just as love always adds to others.

1Cor.13:1 If I speak with the languages of men and of angels, but don't have love, I have become sounding brass, or a clanging cymbal.
13:2 If I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but don't have love, I am nothing. 13:3 If I dole out all my goods to feed the poor, and if I give my body to be burned, but don't have love, it profits me nothing. 13:4 Love is patient and is kind; love doesn't envy. Love doesn't brag, is not proud,
13:5 doesn't behave itself inappropriately, doesn't seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil;
13:6 doesn't rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; 13:7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 13:8 Love never fails.

Mistakes are not created from love, mistakes are created from takers, that is, selfishness, from pride, hate, works of our fallen flesh. Some wanted to take instead of give which is an evil thought, and easy thought, a cowardly thought, why? Because love does not protect itself, it is open and honest, fearing nothing, there is no fear in love, because love is not death so nothing can be taken away from it.

James.1:13 Let no man say when he is tempted, "I am tempted by God," for God can't be tempted by evil, and he himself tempts no one. 1:14 But each one is tempted, when he is drawn away by his own lust, and enticed. 1:15 Then the lust, when it has conceived, bears sin; and the sin, when it is full grown, brings forth death.
1:16 Don't be deceived, my beloved brothers. 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow.

One thought of evil upset the whole body, it caused all the darkness and cunning in our world, it caused all the wickedness and the down fall of mankind and many of God's own spirit sons. How can one put humpy dumpy back together again? Mankind has tried very hard, with part God's ways, and much of their own ways, but the glued does not fix the once beautiful vases Satan the Devil smashed into billions of pieces. The vases must be made new, not rebuilt!

Revelation 21:5 He who sits on the throne said, "Behold, I am making all things new." He said, "Write, for these words of God are faithful and true."

Luke 13:21 It is like yeast, which a woman took and hid in three measures{literally, three sata. 3 sata is about 39 litres or a bit more than a bushel} of flour, until it was all leavened."

1 Corinthians 5:6 Your boasting is not good. Don't you know that a little yeast leavens the whole lump?

Every form of government and laws have been used to glue together a perfect kingdom by legislating every conceivable law, religion has tried every form of rulership, from liberal to harsh treatment and torture of its members, but the creation is not one body producing good, it produce the same old fruit in selfishness mixed with some good to deceived the nations. They convince each generation they have forever on earth, but death soon comes and they are devastated going from beauty into old age losing strength into corruption and weakness from which they came.

2Cor. 4:1 Therefore seeing we have this ministry, even as we obtained mercy, we don't faint. 4:2 But we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by the manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.
4:3 Even if our Good News is veiled, it is veiled in those who perish; 4:4 in whom the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the Good News of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn on them.
4:5 For we don't preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus' sake;

Human are like thorns with beautiful grapes one always gets bloody fingers when picking the fruit. The fruit is not from God, but human convincing themselves that life comes from death because someone can use God's words founded in our bibles. Satan could not produce life, he may of helped create some life, but he could not leave the one body of life, YHWH and produce life by imputing evil to God.

Romans 5:12 Therefore, as sin entered into the world through one man, and death through sin; and so death passed to all men, because all sinned.

Here the brothers of Christ, created new from God, having life must not fall into imputing evil to God and drift away into the world, and all the evil thinking it produces into a vast world wide field of death by weeds corrupting the pure unadulterated truth of God, love! They must understand clearly one seed corrupted life, and one seed will united life by one body Christ Jesus. They must remember the great act of unselfish love on God's part to redeem them into the eternal life of his Son Christ Jesus.

1 Peter 1:23 having been born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, through the word of God, which lives and remains forever.

Galatians 3:16 Now the promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. He doesn't say, "To seeds," as of many, but as of one, "To your seed,"{Genesis 12:7; 13:15; 24:7} which is Christ.

Freedom does not come by judgment of sin, it does not come to the nations by punishing sins of evil people, it helps protect other peoples lives so there can be a measure of peace on earth, but those laws are not the law of love. They must teach love, because they have been transferred from darkness into the wonderful love of Christ Kingdom where envy and competition of this world ends, and is nonexistent.

Rom.8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don't walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.{NU omits "who don't walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit"} 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death.

In them is the seed of God, in the incorruptible spirit of love producing the fruit of Holy Spirit so they can conqueror this world in love, by loving their brothers, by giving as a servant and not taking for the flesh. They must move on from what is primary in Christ, judgment, repentance from dead works into life, imputing good to God and remembering death is found in the thinking of our flesh, they must remain in peace, resting fully in faith, not doubting God has subjected the new creation of heaven and earth to Christ, and his love for the Father cannot fail. He will save us completely from every evil thought sanctifying us for his Kingdom in love. This is our promise, our hope, our faith, but greatest of these is love.

Galatians 5:13 For you, brothers, were called for freedom. Only don't use your freedom for gain to the flesh, but through love be servants to one another.

Ephesians 1:4 even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and without blemish before him in love;

Ephesians 4:16 from whom all the body, being fitted and knit together through that which every joint supplies, according to the working in measure of each individual part, makes the body increase to the building up of itself in love.

Heb.2:9 But we see him who has been made a little lower than the angels, Jesus, because of the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, that by the grace of God he should taste of death for everyone. 2:10 For it became him, for whom are all things, and through whom are all things, in bringing many children to glory, to make the author of their salvation perfect through sufferings.

The word grace is translated undeserved kindness, and/or unmerited kindness, but here we are told what? That Christ tasted death for everyone by God's grace. This is a powerful thought why?

Romans 6:5 For if we have become united with him in the likeness of his death, we will also be part of his resurrection.

The working of sin in us is death, we have two levels of death, the first one, and the most important one is death from association with God due to sin in our members. Then we have physical death because all that sin physically died as well.

Hebrews 5:7 He, in the days of his flesh, having offered up prayers and petitions with strong crying and tears to him who was able to save him from death, and having been heard for his godly fear.

Romans 5:12 Therefore, as sin entered into the world through one man, and death through sin; and so death passed to all men, because all sinned.

Christ taste both kinds of death because of YHWH undeserved kindness towards his children. Christ was made into the “likeness” of sin for us, he felt, experience sin on all levels but did not sin. How can that be, one sins or they don't? The sins Christ experienced were not his, he was allowed to feel and experience the effects of sin in those he associated with, but they were not his sins, why?

1 Peter 2:24 who his own self bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness; by whose stripes you were healed.

Christ was declared righteous by God, meaning sinless, absolved of sin he could not be convicted of sinning, but God wanted him to feel death at work in him, so he could conquer it completely for us. This is the process causing Christ suffering on earth death through sin as a victim for the sins of others. He experienced fully the process of life Adam had before sin, and the death Adam felt and experience in his members after sin enter too him. Hence, making Christ the perfecter of our faith by life in us. Christ felt the full weight of sin, while having life working in him from his Father Holy Spirit.
2 Corinthians 4:10 always carrying in the body the putting to death of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body

2 Corinthians 4:12 So then death works in us, but life in you.

Romans 6:5 For if we have become united with him in the likeness of his death, we will also be part of his resurrection;

Romans 8:3 For what the law couldn't do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God did, sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh.

Philippians 2:7 but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in the likeness of men.

This is the baptism by fire, the flesh opposing the Spirit, this is the judgment upon God's own house, not some future coming judgment. The grace of God allowing sin not to be accounted, yet, conquering death through life of his Holy Spirit setting the creation free. Each member of Christ body; now listen this is why there is only one seed, one body, one temple not many, one faith, one baptism stemming from one. There is only one person declared righteous not many, Christ, we live through his righteousness by grace of God.

Romans 4:5 But to him who doesn't work, but believes in him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness.

Romans 5:17 For if by the trespass of the one, death reigned through the one; so much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one, Jesus Christ.

Romans 6:18 Being made free from sin, you became bondservants of righteousness.

Romans 8:10 If Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the spirit is alive because of righteousness.

1 Corinthians 1:30 But of him, you are in Christ Jesus, who was made to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption:

We must fill up the complete measure for the body of Christ where ever we are at in the history of his body upon earth. We must experience death and sin working in us, the baptism by fire, the judgment of sin and death as the house of God, and the conquering of such by the Holy Spirit of God, because we belong to Christ. Though we sin, we can't in Christ. Though we fall short God undeserved kindness goes beyond the power of death into life, absolving us of sin and death. This is the seed planted in us, a righteous seed stemming from Christ life, driving us forward by the love of God because of his unmerited gift of love in our lives. The depth of God's love, whom can know it or account it? This is the love God has for us; created for his purposes as gifts for life, this is why Christ could say on earth only one is good, God the Father.

1 Peter 4:17 For the time has come for judgment to begin with the household of God. If it begins first with us, what will happen to those who don't obey the Good News of God?

Rom. 8:34 Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, yes rather, who was raised from the dead, who is at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. 8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Could oppression, or anguish, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 8:36 Even as it is written, "For your sake we are killed all day long. We were accounted as sheep for the slaughter."{Psalm 44:22} 8:37 No, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
8:38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers,
8:39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Heb..2:11 For both he who sanctifies and those who are sanctified are all from one, for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brothers{The word for "brothers" here and where context allows may also be correctly translated "brothers and sisters" or "siblings."}, 2:12 saying, "I will declare your name to my brothers. In the midst of the congregation I will sing your praise."{Psalm 22:22}

The start of false worship started with self, (a seed) which is lawlessness, all sin is lawless, the man of lawlessness is without the remission of sin, which sin all stemming from the one body sin enter into our world through, Adam's. Those teaching self-righteousness, that is, the ability for a person born into the sin of Adam to work themselves out of sin is the great apostasy the real man of lawlessness. Essentially, they make the same error as did Eve, listening to the lies of the father of the lie, in telling Eve she could live eternally without God.

2 Thessalonians 2:7 For the mystery of lawlessness already works. Only there is one who restrains now, until he is taken out of the way.

1 John 3:4 Everyone who sins also commits lawlessness. Sin is lawlessness.

Those declared righteous stem from one person, the key, the door to eternal life, Christ Jesus, and none other! False sanctification, that is, self sanctification through good works, application of God's word the bible, position, religion and/or anything else under the Sun does not sanctify us. God is point specific where sanctification comes from, he set up a specific way, a covenant to sanctified us humans through. Going down any other road will not get a person into God's favor, nor cleanses them from the sin of Adam.

1 Corinthians 6:11 Such were some of you, but you were washed. But you were sanctified. But you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and in the Spirit of our God.

Acts 20:32 Now, brothers,{The word for "brothers" here and where the context allows may also be correctly translated "brothers and sisters" or "siblings."} I entrust you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build up, and to give you the inheritance among all those who are sanctified.

Hebrews 10:10 by which will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

Hebrews 10:14 For by one offering he has perfected forever those who are being sanctified.

Mankind cannot remove the filth of their flesh, because it is the stain of sin. God does not speak will of sins as human mired in them do justifying them by words, works, books, teachings, and what ever else they think cleanses them from the filth of their flesh. Reading the bible attending a religion is not, lets say that one more time is not God's prescribed way to be sanctification. Here is a fundamental truth, one that cannot be deny. There are only two tree in God's world, not man's thoughts. One tree is his son righteousness, planted by God righteous hands, the other is Satan tree planted by Satan mouth the first lie. Both these trees have fruit, God's tree cannot produce sin, evil, bad, corrupt fruit it cannot, it is impossible because it stem from an incorruptible person Christ Jesus. Satan tree is a lie, its fruits are corrupt, that is, found in lawlessness because all sin is lawlessness, but he uses “words” to deceived the heart's of all mankind how just as he did Eve.

1 Peter 3:21 This is a symbol of baptism, which now saves you--not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

2 Corinthians 11:14 And no wonder, for even Satan masquerades as an angel of light.

2 Corinthians 11:15 It is no great thing therefore if his servants also masquerade as servants of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.

Titus 3:5 not by works of righteousness, which we did ourselves, but according to his mercy, he saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit.

He claims because we are created in God's image, and we have good fruit like kindness, love, faith and so on, we can be like God not dying at all. The fruit we are born with as a human is enough to save us, and the world through some government, religion, and/or commerce. In other words, he ask us to believe the first lie to practice the good in us, not the evil from sin, and we don't need Christ sanctification. But even the demons shutter being created in the image of God, they at least know the truth of their judgment.

Philippians 1:11 being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.

Ephesians 5:9 for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth.

2 Corinthians 5:21 For him who knew no sin he made to be sin on our behalf; so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

Romans 8:8 Those who are in the flesh can't please God.

Romans 8:9 But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if it is so that the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if any man doesn't have the Spirit of Christ, he is not his.

Christ bluntly rejected Satan tree as good, Christ stated truth that a corrupt tree cannot produce good fruit, no middle ground, we are either in the good tree or we are not! If we have no remission of sins our fruit stems from self-justification which is works of law. There is only one way too salvation remission of sin given us by God through the righteousness of Christ.

Romans 7:18 For I know that in me, that is, in my flesh, dwells no good thing. For desire is present with me, but I don't find it doing that which is good.

Matt. 7:16 By their fruits you will know them. Do you gather grapes from thorns, or figs from thistles? 7:17 Even so, every good tree produces good fruit; but the corrupt tree produces evil fruit.
7:18 A good tree can't produce evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree produce good fruit. 7:19 Every tree that doesn't grow good fruit is cut down, and thrown into the fire.

This is why those called Christ brothers he is not ashamed to call them brothers because they are in him, and him in them, there is no other way into the kingdom of God, through any other door.

Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, then I will come in to him, and will dine with him, and he with me.

1 John 3:6 Whoever remains in him doesn't sin. Whoever sins hasn't seen him, neither knows him.

1 John 3:9 Whoever is born of God doesn't commit sin, because his seed remains in him; and he can't sin, because he is born of God.

Heb.2:13 Again, "I will put my trust in him."{Isaiah 8:17} Again, "Behold, here I am with the children whom God has given me."{Isaiah 8:18} 2:14 Since then the children have shared in flesh and blood, he also himself in like manner partook of the same, that through death he might bring to nothing him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, 2:15 and might deliver all of them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

Many today, and back at Paul's time did not see themselves in bondage, but rather fought to stay in bondage in making a name for themselves upon earth. So many profess Christ while not even realizing their home, their roots are not earth bound, but from heaven down.

Revelation 3:12 He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of my God, and he will go out from there no more. I will write on him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from my God, and my own new name.

Christ the sanctifier of his body came from above, from freedom, freedom from death, sin, and the bondage which plagues all human on earth to suffer against the fallen flesh conquering it lust against the Spirit so we might follow in his foot steps. The power of death started from the first sin, from sin, fear of death entered into all human the need for survival. Faith and love did not enter in, but death, the fear of no God, or making a deal with God, making man a god, buildings, idols into God so one can ally the fear of death.

1:17 For in it is revealed God's righteousness from faith to faith. As it is written, "But the righteous shall live by faith."{Habakkuk 2:4}
1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness,
1:19 because that which is known of God is revealed in them, for God revealed it to them. 1:20 For the invisible things of him since the creation of the world are clearly seen, being perceived through the things that are made, even his everlasting power and divinity; that they may be without excuse. 1:21 Because, knowing God, they didn't glorify him as God, neither gave thanks, but became vain in their reasoning, and their senseless heart was darkened.
1:22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
1:23 and traded the glory of the incorruptible God for the likeness of an image of corruptible man, and of birds, and four-footed animals, and creeping things. 1:24 Therefore God also gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to uncleanness, that their bodies should be dishonored among themselves, 1:25 who exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.

Subsequently, a world wide system of things was built generation upon generation, but still the power of death stock each and everyone of us. The issues is not power, but death, it's power which blinds every generation of human on earth into a course of surviving in their flesh as long as they can, using every means possible. Flesh is a world of words truth is like a shadow changing minute to minute, where a word can wipe all a person has away, or give them power untold over others.

Revelation 22:18 I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book, if anyone adds to them, may God add to him the plagues which are written in this book.

2 Peter 2:3 In covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words: whose sentence now from of old doesn't linger, and their destruction will not slumber.

Nothing lasting in the power of the fallen flesh, human have good, but all have thorns, disappointment follows the good. People struggle to put faith in other humans, like drunk men running to the next personality, cling, defending, politicking, and yes, even killing for a person elevated into god statues. All seeking a savior for a few years which passes like a mist, a flower fading gone, but enshrined, with books, libraries, monuments, whatever it takes to make their god still alive and relevant.

Isa.40:6 The voice of one saying, "Cry!" One said, "What shall I cry?" "All flesh is like grass, and all its glory is like the flower of the field.
40:7 The grass withers, the flower fades, because Yahweh's breath blows on it. Surely the people are like grass. 40:8 The grass withers, the flower fades; but the word of our God stands forever."

Faith is not the possession of all mankind, few find the narrow road, many mix the words of Christ into a life on earth, stealing all that is good, righteous, and precious to build their empire thinking they can have both. But the fear of death stocks them, not the love of God, in faith that puts all fear outside, they have no real relationship, they have words repeat, or actions repeat in mote. They have not the comforter, which gives us the gift of God's love, Christ Jesus indwelling them as the flesh fails the Spirit is renewed the wasting of the flesh wars is brought to nothing in Christ until its consumed, left as after birth, for the glorious freedom of the son of God.

2 Corinthians 1:17 When I therefore was thus determined, did I show fickleness? Or the things that I purpose, do I purpose according to the flesh, that with me there should be the "Yes, yes" and the "No, no?"

2 Corinthians 3:3 being revealed that you are a letter of Christ, served by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tablets of stone, but in tablets that are hearts of flesh.

2 Corinthians 4:11 For we who live are always delivered to death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus may be revealed in our mortal flesh.

2 Corinthians 5:16 Therefore we know no one after the flesh from now on. Even though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now we know him so no more.

Heb.2:16 For most certainly, he doesn't give help to angels, but he gives help to the seed of Abraham. 2:17 Therefore he was obligated in all things to be made like his brothers, that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make atonement for the sins of the people. 2:18 For in that he himself has suffered being tempted, he is able to help those who are tempted.

Where great sins are found there are great emotions! What does man do with sin if its not try to make others accept, understand, condone, and/or justify their feelings of why they sin. An entire multi-billion dollar industry has been built to justify, condone the evils of mankind called entertainment.

Psalms 32:5 I acknowledged my sin to you. I didn't hide my iniquity. I said, I will confess my transgressions to Yahweh, and you forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah.

Psalms 36:2 For he flatters himself in his own eyes, too much to detect and hate his sin.

Once a person humanizes an evil with feeling of love, fear, and hate the sin is no longer important the human drama works like magic broadening the mind so the person does not want to be judgmental out of sync with societies liberal views; what was once not accepted is now accepted.

Proverbs 28:5 Evil men don't understand justice; but those who seek Yahweh understand it fully.

Ecclesiastes 5:1 Guard your steps when you go to God's house; for to draw near to listen is better than to give the sacrifice of fools, for they don't know that they do evil.

But Paul states above under Holy Spirit that God was not assisting, or helping his angles, but why? That is a fair question, for entertainment certainly of late has humanized angels as sinners, with all the human emotions that we have living in our flesh? You see this is the point of the holy writings, the bible, which teaches sin is evil, once that evil was found in man he existed in death alienated from the very mind of God. In others words, a sinner cannot know God nor define him with their own feeling coming from what the bible calls evil, sin!

1 John 3:6 Whoever remains in him doesn't sin. Whoever sins hasn't seen him, neither knows him.

Proverbs 14:34 Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to any people.

Isaiah 30:1 "Woe to the rebellious children," says Yahweh, "who take counsel, but not from me; and who make an alliance, but not with my Spirit, that they may add sin to sin.

The angels, or spirit person Paul address here, are not the disobedient ones, but faithful angels that have never sinned, they have no need of God's help through his Son Christ Jesus, they are perfect, without sin, or the flesh to influence them. Let us not be confused here, Christ came in the flesh, and was made into the likeness of flesh, that is, death, yes, death, that is what sin is to God's life.

1 Corinthians 15:21 For since death came by man, the resurrection of the dead also came by man.

1 Corinthians 15:26 The last enemy that will be abolished is death.
Romans 5:12 Therefore, as sin entered into the world through one man, and death through sin; and so death passed to all men, because all sinned.

It was in this conditions of life and death that Christ learn complete obedience perfecting his faith in God's own goodness and love for him. Death worked in Christ by being made into the likeness of sin, not his sins, the sins of others, but also life, God's Spirit indwelling him as a Son of God. In this manner, Christ conquered death for us by the life of God in him. God was not humanizing sin in his Son justifying it at all. He was defeating every thought and action human uses to live in sin. Christ did away with sin, hence, death, he overcame the entire world thinking found in darkness since Adam sin.

Rev.1:17 When I saw him, I fell at his feet like a dead man. He laid his right hand on me, saying, "Don't be afraid. I am the first and the last, 1:18 and the Living one. I was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. I have the keys of Death and of Hades{or, Hell}.

False religion takes everything holy and good, which means without sin, imputes human reasoning into it believing this makes God more acceptable, like entertainment practices. God did not do this, he brought us up, making us walk in Spirit and truth, through the suffering in sins of his Son Christ Jesus. The enemy of God is sin, we need to worship a sinless God, and be taught his ways, not our own which ways are the ways of death. God has given us Christ, our head, and the mind in that head, and the assistance of holy angels to help us, if we put faith in his goodness and love for us.

2 Peter 1:3 seeing that his divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and virtue;

2 Peter 1:16 For we did not follow cunningly devised fables, when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we were eyewitnesses of his majesty.

1 John 5:19 We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies in the power of the evil one.
