Present Your Bodies A Living Sacrifice

****Rom.12:2 Don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God.

How can a person have a bag of weed seeds plant them and then convince themselves wheat will come up? Will, it is only by their imagination, and/or believing a lie! The apostle Paul continues with the entire theme of his letter of Roman's here, and what is that? Flesh Vs. Spirit, the birth of a new creation from God down to mankind, removing the weed mind, the fleshly mind, by the mind of Christ.

Romans 3:10 As it is written, "There is no one righteous; no, not one.

Not to be conformed to this world mean unequivocally having the mind of Christ. Subsequently, without the mind of Christ we are the world having the will of this world, and are conforming to its flow of spirit from the flesh into sea of humanity. Religion does not have the mind of Christ so its is from this world, that is, the mind of the flesh which created this world from its conception.

1 Corinthians 2:16 "For who has known the mind of the Lord, that he should instruct him?"{Isaiah 40:13} But we have Christ's mind.

Ultimately, religion offers laws and rules punishing our flesh to prevent the flesh from degrading itself into an unmanageable society. However, when new science, new technology comes along old ideas are discounted, and so goes the infallible truth once believed by the religion. Hence, the religion must adjust itself or become a fool to the world. This adjustment to some is righteous to others it devastates their faith because they threw away friends and family in upholding a so called truth to find out they themselves were blinded by their religion.

Romans 3:4 May it never be! Yes, let God be found true, but every man a liar. As it is written, "That you might be justified in your words, and might prevail when you come into judgment."{Psalm 51:4}

Matt.5:36 Neither shall you swear by your head, for you can't make one hair white or black. 5:37 But let your 'Yes' be 'Yes' and your 'No' be 'No.' Whatever is more than these is of the evil one.

The truth is, a person in a religion upheld a principle based upon the best know information at the time, wrapped them in scriptures, and others went along with the teachings. In other words, flesh planted flesh, and the crop came up flesh. The church or religion was already of the world because its members were not born again from above by the Holy Spirit they simply used the bible to uphold their religious thoughts.

1Cor. 2:10 But to us, God revealed them through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.
2:11 For who among men knows the things of a man, except the spirit of the man, which is in him? Even so, no one knows the things of God, except God's Spirit.
2:12 But we received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is from God, that we might know the things that were freely given to us by God.
2:13 Which things also we speak, not in words which man's wisdom teaches, but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual things.
2:14 Now the natural man doesn't receive the things of God's Spirit, for they are foolishness to him, and he can't know them, because they are spiritually discerned. 2:15 But he who is spiritual discerns all things, and he himself is judged by no one.
2:16 "For who has known the mind of the Lord, that he should instruct him?"{Isaiah 40:13} But we have Christ's mind.

The fleshly mind must and does conform to the world because its of the world. It like weeds among weeds, when the seasons and the soil changes all the weeds conform to field to survive. There is nothing new about the fleshly mind, what it is, it will do over and over again regarding religion, politics, and business, weeds have a pattern of growth and survival programed into the its kind, no mystery here!

Rom.1:20 For the invisible things of him since the creation of the world are clearly seen, being perceived through the things that are made, even his everlasting power and divinity; that they may be without excuse.

The mystery ends when the person stops listening to words, looking a objects of veneration and counts the actions, its fruit.

The real mystery is found in the mind of Christ that cannot conform to this world, if a Christian's have the mind of Christ, by battling the mind of flesh they will perfect their faith in truth and love. However, it they want the laws of the old, the flesh, Christ abolished for the Law of the Spirit love, they will find themselves in a flowing river that ends in the sea of wickedness they never can come up to YHWH mountain, were the ways of peace and not war are done away with by the law of love.

Isaiah 57:21 There is no peace, says my God, to the wicked.

Isaiah 59:8 The way of peace they don't know; and there is no justice in their goings: they have made them crooked paths; whoever goes therein does not know peace.
Isaiah 57:19 I create the fruit of the lips: Peace, peace, to him who is far off and to him who is near, says Yahweh; and I will heal him.

Isaiah 52:7 How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who publishes peace, who brings good news of good, who publishes salvation, who says to Zion, Your God reigns!

Isaiah 9:7 Of the increase of his government and of peace there shall be no end, on the throne of David, and on his kingdom, to establish it, and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from that time on, even forever. The zeal of Yahweh of Armies will perform this.

War is the nature of our fallen flesh, it battles with words, and weapons because the flesh cannot stop fighting with others. Religion is a war of words to conform people to rules and laws of the fallen flesh. Those overcome by such a battles serve the flesh, and become converts to warring with others. Without war of religious arguments its members feel they are doing nothing productive for Christ. The war of the flesh builds by overcoming others flesh, this is how all business, religion, and government come about, by war.

Isaiah 57:20 But the wicked are like the troubled sea; for it can't rest, and its waters cast up mire and dirt.

The mind of flesh by fancy projects into future where man conquers the universe and the old war of the flesh are recreated into these fancy found in entertainment. Nothing new about the fleshly mind character, just new technology that deceives the fleshly mind it has progressed.

Romans 8:5 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.

Romans 8:6 For the mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace;

That fleshly minded nature is what Paul counsel against these brothers and sisters were put to death to the hostility of their fleshly mind, given freely the gift of God's love, Christ Jesus mind, so they could walk in love, be transformed into the kingdom of Christ love. Love, God's love specifically is the Holy Spirit and from it come all the fruits of God by Holy Spirit. These brothers and sisters must remember had not given themselves the gift of Holy Spirit by warring with other flesh, they had not overcome other flesh by religious wars to be anointed by God's Holy Spirit. In fact, before they did good or bad they were founded by God to be part of his Son's spirit life.

Romans 11:6 And if by grace, then it is no longer of works; otherwise grace is no longer grace. But if it is of works, it is no longer grace; otherwise work is no longer work.

Titus 3:5 not by works of righteousness, which we did ourselves, but according to his mercy, he saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit.

They gained nothing by flesh, they gained everything lasting by the gift of God's love too them. This point, if lost, starts the wars of the flesh in the body of Christ, and will over-sow it with the wisdom of this world. The world looks to shinning stars new personality having the mind of the flesh that thinks outside of the norm, then they enshrine them as an idol, until another comes along to change the pattern of thinking once again, but all adds up to the same old good and evil found in all human history. Nothing comes up new, nothing reaches above the works of the flesh the same old sins we all have, unless we lie, and/or set out to rewrite the truth of ourselves.

Ecclesiastes 9:3 This is an evil in all that is done under the sun, that there is one event to all: yes also, the heart of the sons of men is full of evil, and madness is in their heart while they live, and after that they go to the dead.

Ecclesiastes 1:9 That which has been is that which shall be; and that which has been done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.

This is why institution were built, to hid the flaws of human sin, to enshrine humans as gods making them greater than human imperfection, so others strives to be like them on earth perpetuating the first lie. This is the rhetoric of authoritative language to give humans power that seem untouched by the corruption of the flesh. The arts, the uses of the word genius, is nothing more then the wisdom of this world which has not made one righteous person, who does not sin!

Ecclesiastes 7:20 Surely there is not a righteous man on earth, who does good and doesn't sin.

1 John 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

It is only in Christ in not conforming to the mind of this world, the flesh that something new has happen in the new heavens, let us not be fooled change cannot comes from a corrupted bread by yeast of sin.

James 1:25 But he who looks into the perfect law of freedom, and continues, not being a hearer who forgets, but a doer of the work, this man will be blessed in what he does. 1:26 If anyone among you thinks himself to be religious while he doesn't bridle his tongue, but deceives his heart, this man's religion is worthless.

Micah.4:1 But in the latter days, it will happen that the mountain of Yahweh's temple will be established on the top of the mountains, and it will be exalted above the hills; and peoples will stream to it. 4:2 Many nations will go and say, "Come, and let us go up to the mountain of Yahweh, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths." For out of Zion will go forth the law, and the word of Yahweh from Jerusalem;
4:3 and he will judge between many peoples, and will decide concerning strong nations afar off. They will beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not lift up sword against nation, neither will they learn war any more. 4:4 But they will sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and no one will make them afraid: For the mouth of Yahweh of Armies has spoken. 4:5 Indeed all the nations may walk in the name of their gods; but we will walk in the name of Yahweh our God forever and ever.

****Rom.12:3 For I say, through the grace that was given me, to every man who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think reasonably, as God has apportioned to each person a measure of faith.

Here is the problem with our fallen flesh, it is as if its bipolar, going from feelings of nothingness into arrogance of pride. But the apostles Paul is not speaking to people of the fallen flesh, he is however, speaking to those of the Spirit, born new into a Spirit life of Christ Jesus. The Spirit of God is not effected by such mood swings, it is reasonable, it is peaceable, full of mercy and good fruits.

James. 3:14 But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your heart, don't boast and don't lie against the truth.
3:15 This wisdom is not that which comes down from above, but is earthly, sensual, and demonic. 3:16 For where jealousy and selfish ambition are, there is confusion and every evil deed. 3:17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceful, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. 3:18 Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.

Moreover, the mind of Christ body is the mind given the members of that body, it is Christ, not given to extremes unlike our fallen flesh mind found in fear and corruption from sin. Here is how the body of Christ should function in Spirit and truth, a truth that alines us with the Spirit and its fruits.

John 7:24 Don't judge according to appearance, but judge righteous judgment."

1Cor.1:29 that no flesh should boast before God.
1:30 But of him, you are in Christ Jesus, who was made to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption: 1:31 that, according as it is written, "He who boasts, let him boast in the Lord."{Jeremiah 9:24}

Romans 4:5 But to him who doesn't work, but believes in him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness.

Furthermore, who's body is it? Who is the owner of Christ body? You see, we are members of someone else body, not our own old body, dead to Christ. We cannot posses something that we don't own, so should that not in and of itself make us reasonable with each other knowing we are gifts too the body? Do you know how a company knows if they have a loyal employee? It is when the employee takes ownership of the company speaking as if its his, or her's company. But we cannot posses Christ because he is spirit, created from the Spirit of God as love too us.

Rom.13:8 Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law.

Philippians 3:2 Beware of the dogs, beware of the evil workers, beware of the false circumcision.

1 Corinthians 6:19 Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own.

In other words, he is a gift of God's love too us, freely given, not from the possession of the flesh, but the fruit of God's Spirit. Subsequently, the fruit of the Spirit gives each member within the body gifts, as part of the functioning whole. Those gifts aren't ours, they are for the body of Christ as gifts to the rest of the body, not to be possessed as treasure upon earth to build great things for the flesh.

1 Corinthians 4:7 For who makes you different? And what do you have that you didn't receive? But if you did receive it, why do you boast as if you had not received it?

Luke 12:34 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

One of those gifts in the body is Christ own faith in his Father YHWH, because we are members we receive a measure of faith from Christ our head. It not ours, it belongs to the body, one faith, one body, one baptism, one head, one seed, not many, but one. In other words, all things are Christ and we live through him, as part of him.

Philippians 3:8 Yes most certainly, and I count all things to be loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus, my Lord, for whom I suffered the loss of all things, and count them nothing but refuse, that I may gain Christ

1 Corinthians 8:6 yet to us there is one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we for him; and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and we live through him.

What separates the body of Christ the same separation the whole world was conceived in? Sin, that is, the fallen flesh that is one-hundred and eighty degrees the opposite of the Spirit. The flesh and its laws divided people into individual letting them think they have earned position in Christ by those rules of the flesh. They believe faith comes from themselves, their own power they can mustered up. Hence, they posses faith as personal property making themselves responsible for other people's faith by their own example, which most often burns out the flesh, by promoting personality worship instead of Christ.

Levitius 26:19 I will break the pride of your power, and I will make your sky like iron, and your soil like brass;

2 Corinthians 4:7 But we have this treasure in clay vessels, that the exceeding greatness of the power may be of God, and not from ourselves.

They make themselves into icons boasting in the power of their own will from their flesh, there is no gifts, but instead its earned by their efforts and if given its because they are more special than other entitling them to power and position over others. This division conforms the to the world and its mind. This is Paul point, and its should be considered by us very seriously. Do we have the attributes of the flesh or the Spirit?

James.3:12 Can a fig tree, my brothers, yield olives, or a vine figs? Thus no spring yields both salt water and fresh water.
3:13 Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by his good conduct that his deeds are done in gentleness of wisdom.
3:14 But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your heart, don't boast and don't lie against the truth.

Do we teach flesh, now that is, the character of the flesh as being of Christ? If so we are making people part of this world in the name of Christ. You see, Grace cannot be earned, it is from God's love too us, it is the most powerful tool ever created by the God of love. Grace, and/or undeserved kindness, unmerited kindness, cannot be conquered by flesh. There nothing the flesh has or can do or say that it can earn a the gift of grace. The flesh is soundly defeated in all its efforts when grace rules in the body of Christ.

James 4:6 But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, "God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble."{Proverbs 3:34}

1 Peter 1:10 Concerning this salvation, the prophets sought and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that would come to you.

1 Peter 1:13 Therefore, prepare your minds for action,{literally, "gird up the waist of your mind"} be sober and set your hope fully on the grace that will be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ--

2 Peter 3:18 But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and forever. Amen.

There can be no boasting in grace, because the flesh cannot obtain to grace only those walking in Spirit can, that is, the body of Christ have been given freely the gift of unmerited kindness. How reasonable should that make each one of us?

Romans 12:6 Having gifts differing according to the grace that was given to us, if prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of our faith;

Romans 11:5 Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.

Romans 11:6 And if by grace, then it is no longer of works; otherwise grace is no longer grace. But if it is of works, it is no longer grace; otherwise work is no longer work.

One Body in Christ

****Rom.12:4 For even as we have many members in one body, and all the members don't have the same function, 12:5 so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another. 12:6 Having gifts differing according to the grace that was given to us, if prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of our faith; 12:7 or service, let us give ourselves to service; or he who teaches, to his teaching; 12:8 or he who exhorts, to his exhorting: he who gives, let him do it with liberality; he who rules, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness.

Competition is fierce in our world if you don't fight for better you will get run over. Many have incorporated this competition into religion, the power struggles, the cunning tact's the world uses to maintain and control others. But it is not the Christ, the truth, and certainly not the Spirit.

John 7:24 Don't judge according to appearance, but judge righteous judgment."

Here Paul speaks to the core of creation, that which God our Father will create all things new in, that is, a new heavens and earth where true righteousness will dwell. Who of us in our right mind would tell a hand on our body to compete with an eye of our body! Who would feel hurt that our hand is not our eye? Should we not rest, now really think about that? Should we not trust, go to sleep knowing our hand is not going to attack our eye yanking it out?

Rom.1:20 For the invisible things of him since the creation of the world are clearly seen, being perceived through the things that are made, even his everlasting power and divinity; that they may be without excuse.

1 John 4:7 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God, and knows God.

Yet, the flesh won't rest, it won't trust, nor can it love and know God, the flesh competes in fear of not being good enough or the best. How can we let a body member do its job if we are constantly hostile to it? How strange would that be in our own body? Today, we don't have the body of Christ we have false religion, the works of the flesh and its planting. Subsequently, we reap the harvest of planting with the flesh in the works of the flesh.

Colossians 2:2 that their hearts may be comforted, they being knit together in love, and gaining all riches of the full assurance of understanding, that they may know the mystery of God, both of the Father and of Christ.

James 3:14 But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your heart, don't boast and don't lie against the truth.
3:15 This wisdom is not that which comes down from above, but is earthly, sensual, and demonic. 3:16 For where jealousy and selfish ambition are, there is confusion and every evil deed.

You see, the question we must face is when did we do it to the least of these my brothers? Religion tells God who Christ brothers are, they set up a hierarchy of rules and laws and judge where so called body parts are placed, how does that work? Can you imagine a person doing that with there own body? There could never be peace and harmony with in us, let alone life!

Romans 8:6 For the mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace;

The first step into life is faith, that is, trusting God will supply us, not ourselves, he will give us the needed teachers, the needed comforters, the needed encouragements, not a lust in our flesh, out of fear, fear of death does not mean we have faith or are even learning the truth and Spirit, resting does. Trust means we have a head, a person responsible for our spiritual life, a person proven faithful and loyal above all God's creations. But what if we cannot trust our head, now think about that in your own body, how foolish is that? Can you imagine the hand conversing with the other hand, saying:

“Hey did you hear what the head spoke to me? Lets check this out in case he trying to mislead us into wickedness and darkness!. He told the left toe on the foot that he loved him more than me.”

James1:16 Don't be deceived, my beloved brothers.
1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow. 1:18 Of his own will he brought us forth by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of first fruits of his creatures.

The problem exist in us, because we listen to our fallen flesh trying to translated our desires into Christ, it don't work. We must let the Spirit speak too us in truth, so we can be in the mind of Christ our head in full assurance of love, faith, which gives us hope. We did not birth ourselves, we were, now get this, created for a purpose, that purpose is just like a body part, created without personal thought of doing God's will. In other words, we can't even judge ourselves correctly that job is not ours to do, why would we think we are authorized to judge a foot, or a toe into another creation an eye by laws of our fallen flesh?

1Cor..4:1 So let a man think of us as Christ's servants, and stewards of God's mysteries.
4:2 Here, moreover, it is required of stewards, that they be found faithful. 4:3 But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged by you, or by man's judgment. Yes, I don't judge my own self. 4:4 For I know nothing against myself. Yet I am not justified by this, but he who judges me is the Lord. 4:5 Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord comes, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and reveal the counsels of the hearts. Then each man will get his praise from God.

James 4:11 Don't speak against one another, brothers. He who speaks against a brother and judges his brother, speaks against the law and judges the law. But if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law, but a judge. 4:12 Only one is the lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy. But who are you to judge another?

Good Vs. Evil

Rom.12:9 Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor that which is evil. Cling to that which is good.

What is evil to God YHWH, and what is good to Him? Well, God's word the bible leaves us no doubt about this matter? One is good, God, and evil is the fallen flesh created from the first lie, against God, and has nothing good dwelling in it. We need not as so many do, justify by moral equivalency degrees of good and evil found in all mankind birthed into a sinful flesh.

Matthew 19:16 Behold, one came to him and said, "Good teacher, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?" 19:17 He said to him, "Why do you call me good? No one is good but one, that is, God. But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments."

Rom.7:18 For I know that in me, that is, in my flesh, dwells no good thing. For desire is present with me, but I don't find it doing that which is good. 7:19 For the good which I desire, I don't do; but the evil which I don't desire, that I practice. 7:20 But if what I don't desire, that I do, it is no more I that do it, but sin which dwells in me.

If we cling to God, who is good, our love will not be hypocritical, and conversely, when we cling to our fallen flesh instead of the Spirit of God we will have evil judgments. The flesh lies because its father came from Satan the Devil the father of the lie. It acts because it does not want others to know it true feelings about most subjects, so it is an actor, which is, a nice word for living in a lie being something we are not.

That standard is the standard of all the world, it is the lust upon which this world is built and most are very satisfied with such low standards, as long as they can have as much of it as they want, or at least more than the other guy.

Hebrews 6:18 that by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we may have a strong encouragement, who have fled for refuge to take hold of the hope set before us.

Romans 3:4 May it never be! Yes, let God be found true, but every man a liar. As it is written, "That you might be justified in your words, and might prevail when you come into judgment."{Psalm 51:4}

1 John 1:10 If we say that we haven't sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

The issue, the context, and center point of Paul's letter to the Roman's is about flesh Vs. Spirit, the evil of sin in our flesh, to the freedom from such evil by being in Christ where God resides as his temple for his Holy Spirit, and us in Christ (spirit), without the laws of flesh condemning us. Paul same thoughts are found in chapter twelve of Roman's speaking too us about the fruit of God, which fruit is the Holy Spirit found in his temple Christ Jesus so its members can walk in Christ not conforming to the lust of this world which are evil to God, and are flesh not found in Christ.

Cling not to the flesh, evil, but to the Holy Spirit, good, then each member would be given gifts of Holy Spirit, which are:

Gal.5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith,{or, faithfulness} 5:23 gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

In the Spirit are gifts, unlike the merit owed us from the flesh, if one owes a brother something beyond the Spirit, which Spirit is love, we are walking in the evil of the fallen flesh that all the world practices to live and prosper in. Gifts from the flesh don't exist, they are instead earned, they are boast in, and charged for in Satan world based upon a lie. Hence, if these brothers and sister walked in flesh they would say nice words written by Holy Spirit, but hid the truth within their hearts. In other words, they would be hypocrites just like the world saying words to gain, and get others to owe them something but the Spirit - love.

James 3:13 Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by his good conduct that his deeds are done in gentleness of wisdom. 3:14 But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your heart, don't boast and don't lie against the truth.

A gift from God is given freely, without charge to us. In that state of purity is found truth, and God's love. From God stems all life, life that gives life, without a lie. No evil can be charged to God, the evil is found in us, not willingly, but as part of the fallen flesh, which flesh we all have that lust against God's Spirit. It is conforming to God, by help of the Spirit found in Christ that our flesh is stripped of its power and thoughts. We must be able to move on from the elementary teaching of Christ into separating the flesh from the Spirit to deal moderately with all our brothers.

Heb.6:1 Wherefore leaving the doctrine of the first principles of Christ, let us press on unto perfection; not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, -

6:2 of the teaching of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.
6:3 And this will we do, if God permit.

No person has extraordinary righteousness, there is only one righteousness and that is Christ righteousness found in all his body members or they would not his body members. Everything outside of that simple understanding is false religion created from the fallen flesh which is a lie. Hence, it Christ righteousness that gifts are given to his body freely by God's will and not our own, so we cannot boast or lord it over others as superior, by works of righteousness we have done.

Titus 3:5 not by works of righteousness, which we did ourselves, but according to his mercy, he saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit,

Hebrews 5:13 For everyone who lives on milk is not experienced in the word of righteousness, for he is a baby.

Ephesians 5:9 for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth.

1Cor.3:1 Brothers, I couldn't speak to you as to spiritual, but as to fleshly, as to babies in Christ. 3:2 I fed you with milk, not with meat; for you weren't yet ready. Indeed, not even now are you ready, 3:3 for you are still fleshly. For insofar as there is jealousy, strife, and factions among you, aren't you fleshly, and don't you walk in the ways of men? 3:4 For when one says, "I follow Paul," and another, "I follow Apollos," aren't you fleshly? 3:5 Who then is Apollos, and who is Paul, but servants through whom you believed; and each as the Lord gave to him? 3:6 I planted. Apollos watered. But God gave the increase.

John.15:1 "I am the true vine, and my Father is the farmer.
15:2 Every branch in me that doesn't bear fruit, he takes away. Every branch that bears fruit, he prunes, that it may bear more fruit. 15:3 You are already pruned clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. 15:4 Remain in me, and I in you. As the branch can't bear fruit by itself, unless it remains in the vine, so neither can you, unless you remain in me. 15:5 I am the vine. You are the branches. He who remains in me, and I in him, the same bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.
