Jehovah's Witnesses and Adventist Connection in Purity of the Flesh

The Watch Tower Society in its conception was involved deeply with the Seventh Day Adventist movement. Many Jehovah's Witness today don't realize they hold very similar teachings in both religions. Although, the two religion separated the WTS took with it many Adventist teachings.

Adventist believe in purity of their flesh by scriptures and eating certain foods as vegetarian. The WTS did not take the vegetarian doctrine rejecting it as false. However, the idea of purity of flesh by certain works of their religion is one of the WTS prominent doctrines. The idea of not sinning in the flesh making it holy by WTS doctrine is key to becoming an active member of the WTS by being baptize into WTS.

John 3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh. That which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

Boasting in The Flesh

The WTS is in a constant state of promoting and advocating that its members are the most pure, happy people on earth by their affiliation with the WTS, that is, the governing body of the WTS. To the outsider it appears so by unity of teaching, cleanness, well groomed men, woman, and children. The power of this presentation is incorporated into every teaching of Jehovah's Witnesses for public appearance and acceptance.

Rom. 2:28 For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, neither is that circumcision which is outward in the flesh; 2:29 but he is a Jew who is one inwardly, and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit not in the letter; whose praise is not from men, but from God.

This boasting in the flesh in its purity by a clean appearance is so powerful for each member of the WTS it causes them untold stress throughout their life, in judging brothers and sisters maturity, whom they will associate with, eat with, and call a friend. In every facet of their life they perceive righteousness by judgments of the fleshes appearance.

John 6:63 It is the spirit who gives life. The flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and are life.

John 8:15 You judge according to the flesh. I judge no one.

Planting to the Flesh

Planting to ones flesh with the thoughts that it will give a person purity with God is a lie, not a biblical teaching at all. A person can bathe in lye soap until their skin comes off, but it has nothing to do with atonement of sin by the blood of Christ Jesus. The public spectacle of the flesh for WTS members has becomes more important then spiritual lives of God's children.

Romans 8:8 Those who are in the flesh can't please God.

1 Corinthians 1:29 that no flesh should boast before God.

The push for WTS members, carried over from the doctrines of the Seventh Day Adventist is to clean up the flesh by scrubbing it with the mandatory doctrines of the WTS to make an acceptable member. If one does not fall in line with these teaching they cannot progress into being an active member of the WTS.

Galatians 2:16 yet knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, even we believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ, and not by the works of the law, because no flesh will be justified by the works of the law.

The problem is we are told by God through Holy Spirit the truth that if we plant from the flesh we reap from the flesh, so has the WTS reap what its planted in boasting in the pride and cleanness of its members flesh?

Galatians 6:8 For he who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption. But he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.

Reaping the Power of the Flesh

Although, a grave can appear beautiful it is full of someones dead bones that are not beautiful! The appearance of cleanses is a great tool for evil. In other words, it has nothing to do with the heart. Hence, any honest person, and/or member of the WTS knows the constant trouble, and tribulation of its members, in mental sickness, fights over rights, power struggles in each congregation with elders, and their wives, into the millions upon millions of children that has left WTS in a vile hate toward it, and their parents.

Gal. 5:19 Now the works of the flesh are obvious, which are: adultery, sexual immorality, uncleanness, lustfulness, 5:20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, strife, jealousies, outbursts of anger, rivalries, divisions, heresies, 5:21 envyings, murders, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these; of which I forewarn you, even as I also forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the Kingdom of God.

The fruits are not good, the boasting of the purity of their member flesh has produced anything, but fruits of Holy Spirit. Are you a member of the WTS? Are you troubled because you know in your flesh dwells no good thing, and you have spent years hiding the truth from yourselves and other until your in a constant state of judging the weakness of others to make yourselves feel better about something you cannot get rid of by applying more WTS bible teachings? Were you a member but kicked out because you cannot get rid of a problem in your flesh no matter how hard you try reading and applying WTS bible doctrine? Are you someone that wants to become a member, but can't get rid of some WTS outlawed bad habit bring it under the control of the WTS doctrine teaching, do you live in fear?

Matthew 11:29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. 11:30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."

Mental Health

The leading cause of mental health is living a lie, that is, our life is not consistent with our actions, so we live a lie convincing others by appearance were something we are not, (incongruity). Sadly, what so many WTS members do not understand is that we cannot be perfect in our flesh upon earth, but it is the desire of our flesh to be so that deceives us into works of law.

1 Peter 3:21 This is a symbol of baptism, which now saves you--not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

That desire is found wanting in all of us as sinners and this is the reason God in his love for us sent us a perfect clean and holy flesh to substitute for our not being able to perfect our flesh upon earth. The deception of perfecting the flesh is taught wittingly or unwittingly by most religions to lesser or greater degree, but it is a key foundation stone to the WTS.

1Cor.3:11 For no one can lay any other foundation than that which has been laid, which is Jesus Christ. 3:12 But if anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay, or stubble; 3:13 each man's work will be revealed. For the Day will declare it, because it is revealed in fire; and the fire itself will test what sort of work each man's work is.

Putting on an air's of purity by clothing, words from the bible, meetings, preaching, food, or anything else, but the blood of Christ Jesus by God giving us a clean conscience will cause us much mental anguish. We cannot love truth, and not live truth, and be truly happy. Each person comes to this juncture in this life they either push ahead ignoring the truth in themselves, or accept with humility God's gift of Christ.

Rom. 7:14 For we know that the law is spiritual, but I am fleshly, sold under sin. 7:15 For I don't know what I am doing. For I don't practice what I desire to do; but what I hate, that I do.
7:16 But if what I don't desire, that I do, I consent to the law that it is good. 7:17 So now it is no more I that do it, but sin which dwells in me. 7:18 For I know that in me, that is, in my flesh, dwells no good thing. For desire is present with me, but I don't find it doing that which is good. 7:19 For the good which I desire, I don't do; but the evil which I don't desire, that I practice.

Religion blurs that line and in allowing us not to make the right decision, how? Religion looks at the fallen flesh of others, it then has been taught to judge it, sins weakness which allows us to stay in a constant war with other flesh by comparing our religion, not ourselves, too a person religion, and its members. In this fatal flaw the person removes themselves from a personal relationship with Christ who is our truth, trading the real truth in Christ for judgment of flaws of other peoples flesh, which is not the truth we should be looking at!

2 Corinthians 5:16 Therefore we know no one after the flesh from now on. Even though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now we know him so no more.

By promoting and teaching this error they fall into yet another evil trap, which is based upon the most noble of all principals. Would you like to know what that is? It is the error of defending something bigger than ourselves, which allows us to justify our own condition of not meeting the truth of being righteous and clean in our own flesh. Moreover, this is why so many disfellowship JW's will defend the WTS teaching believing it redeems them from their failure in sins with the WTS. In other words, if they defend something they believe to be good better than they can be it makes their lives worth something to God. They forget the truth of all the problems of WTS members for the noble idea of the teachings of the WTS. Denying the real truth for the illusion and/or lie of perfection in the flesh by a non human entity a legal corporation, not a man, but something on paper legally accepted by unrighteous government,

Romans 2:1 Therefore you are without excuse, O man, whoever you are who judge. For in that which you judge another, you condemn yourself. For you who judge practice the same things.

1 John 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

Do you really love the truth? Two points hopefully you have concluded here? 1.) There is no substitute for Christ, and our personal relationship with him cannot begotten through man or religion, and 2.) It is only through God's love in giving us Christ life that we can truly have a clean conscience (not flesh and its thought), not by works of religion, man, or whatever we put upon ourselves as acceptable or not!

Healing From The Great Physician

Psalms 6:2 Have mercy on me, Yahweh, for I am faint. Yahweh, heal me, for my bones are troubled.

Are you tried of judgment, are you tried of being in a constant state of fear and worry? Did you know the flesh will wears out by religious laws, it will give out, and break sending us into a spiral of depression and mental health issues, but did you know why?

Isaiah 28:17 I will make justice the measuring line, and righteousness the plumb line. The hail will sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters will overflow the hiding place.

Isa.28:12 to whom he said, "This is the resting place. Give rest to weary;" and "This is the refreshing;" yet they would not hear. 28:13 Therefore the word of Yahweh will be to them precept on precept, precept on precept; line on line, line on line; here a little, there a little; that they may go, fall backward, be broken, be snared, and be taken.

God is not making us perfect in our flesh, did you honestly hear that? God is not reforming our flesh into a better flesh, a cleaner flesh, no! God has judged all of us in the flesh, your bible, and mine tells us one thing? The flesh in sin cannot live up to the bible laws, and commandments. You will fall short, and be forced to accept there is no perfection in our flesh upon earth, or if not? We can be assured God has. He does not live a lie or promote one!

Romans 3:23 for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God;

Titus 3:5 not by works of righteousness, which we did ourselves, but according to his mercy, he saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit.

God is not depressed worrying that we are not good enough in our flesh, God has rather fixed the problem by buying us from sin, “once for all times”, not each day, one good day, another bad day. But once for all time, which means when you accept Christ Jesus in your life its done, your sins are put always from God's judgment forever.

Micah7:18 Who is a God like you, who pardons iniquity, and passes over the disobedience of the remnant of his heritage? He doesn't retain his anger forever, because he delights in loving kindness. 7:19 He will again have compassion on us. He will tread our iniquities under foot; and you will cast all their sins into the depths of the sea. 7:20 You will give truth to Jacob, and mercy to Abraham, as you have sworn to our fathers from the days of old.

1 Peter 3:18 Because Christ also suffered for sins once, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring you to God; being put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit;

God has paid the price for your sins, in Christ, not you by becoming a cleaner flesh through WTS teaching that is a lie. You can never be healed by Christ if you continue to make yourselves righteous by what ever religion or teaching we have accounted as our righteousness.

Philippians 3:9 and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own, that which is of the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith;

Philippians 1:11 being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.

That thinking leaves us in the flesh reaping the works of the flesh while lying to ourselves and others by religious words that we are not sinful. That my friend causes much stress and mental health problems. On the other hand, when we are healed by Holy Spirit that is the works of Holy Spirit and not our flesh, and its teachings, we first of all have peace, and kindness, with no judgment because we are found in God's love, not the definition of love through a WTS teachings.

Hebrews 13:20 Now may the God of peace, who brought again from the dead the great shepherd of the sheep with the blood of an eternal covenant, our Lord Jesus.

Colossians 3:15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.

Our flesh is dead to God, it is not a grave we put flowers upon, we do not dress it up to look righteous, we accept that our flesh is not being reformed into a better flesh. We accept the eternal life of Christ in Spirit and truth working in us by Holy Spirit keeps us sanctified by Christ righteousness in Spirit and truth.

Romans 8:9 But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if it is so that the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if any man doesn't have the Spirit of Christ, he is not his.

Romans 8:12 So then, brothers, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.

The Healing Begins

We trust that God loves us because he sent us Christ, we put faith in Christ, not ourselves, or any man/woman or religion. We accept that whatever our needs are for spiritual health God will provide because he is good. In other words, good mental health come from love and trust, not evil and judgment of man, religion, or ourselves in trying to be better than others.

James 3:14 But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your heart, don't boast and don't lie against the truth. 3:15 This wisdom is not that which comes down from above, but is earthly, sensual, and demonic. 3:16 For where jealousy and selfish ambition are, there is confusion and every evil deed. 3:17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceful, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. 3:18 Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.

1Tim.2:14 Remind them of these things, charging them in the sight of the Lord, that they don't argue about words, to no profit, to the subverting of those who hear. 2:15 Give diligence to present yourself approved by God, a workman who doesn't need to be ashamed, properly handling the Word of Truth. 2:16 But shun empty chatter, for they will proceed further in ungodliness, 2:17 and their word will consume like gangrene, of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus;

We know if we love truth, than we all sin religous or otherwise, and all fall short of God's glory, we are all in the same boat. If we think less than Christ righteousness in us, but instead by religion, and its doctrine, teaching, laws and rules make us a cleaner sinner we are deceived. We are then found in politics, don't be fooled! Politics is telling lies twisting everything in defending our leader we want in power. There is no peace in that, it is a war with other flesh trying to out do them.

In this manner we are planting flesh, not Christ, Christ is not flesh, he is Spirit and is everlasting he cannot be uproot by some teaching or religion on earth, he is in an unshakable kingdom not effected by humans in their wars with other human's.

Job 14:4 Who can bring a clean thing out of an unclean? Not one.

Proverbs 16:2 All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; but Yahweh weighs the motives.

Proverbs 20:9 Who can say, "I have made my heart pure. I am clean and without sin?"

Gal.5:13 For you, brothers, were called for freedom. Only don't use your freedom for gain to the flesh, but through love be servants to one another. 5:14 For the whole law is fulfilled in one word, in this: "You shall love your neighbor as yourself."{Leviticus 19:18}
5:15 But if you bite and devour one another, be careful that you don't consume one another. 5:16 But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you won't fulfill the lust of the flesh. 5:17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, that you may not do the things that you desire.

We do not need to make war with other flesh, we do not wage a war of flesh. That is a WTS false teaching which leads to a life of judging others harshly and without mercy. We are learning the ways of peace, not war, what is the fruit of Holy Spirit?

Matt.7:1 "Don't judge, so that you won't be judged.
7:2 For with whatever judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with whatever measure you measure, it will be measured to you. 7:3 Why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but don't consider the beam that is in your own eye? 7:4 Or how will you tell your brother, 'Let me remove the speck from your eye;' and behold, the beam is in your own eye? 7:5 You hypocrite! First remove the beam out of your own eye, and then you can see clearly to remove the speck out of your brother's eye.

2Cor.10:3 For though we walk in the flesh, we don't wage war according to the flesh; 10:4 for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, 10:5 throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ;

Subsequently, if your searching, you are here because you know the truth inside yourselves, the lack of peace, the confusion, and the turmoil within the WTS and its teaching. If your not searching but looking to find fault by comparing what you have against others to judge and put down, you can rest assured that you will believe the lie to gain standing in your beliefs, we are all in same boat in this manner when upholding flesh over Christ.

Matthew 6:23 But if your eye is evil, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is the darkness!

However, if you been asking, knowing your Heavenly Father will not hand you a serpent when asking for a fish than it is by divine appointment according to your faith that God has brought you here. Don't let the weeds of doubt spring up nobody here wants anything from you. We have come to know that we owe nothing but love to each other, and we desire to share God's love with you, so let the healing begin!

Matthew 7:11 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him!

Matthew 7:17 Even so, every good tree produces good fruit; but the corrupt tree produces evil fruit.

Matthew 7:18 A good tree can't produce evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree produce good fruit.

James.1:16 Don't be deceived, my beloved brothers. 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow. 1:18 Of his own will he brought us forth by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of first fruits of his creatures.
