Debating Truth

Here is the fatal flaw for all of human's it is found when we argue a point that we know to be fact, a truth, a doctrine. Our mind locks in and nothing else matters but proving our point, not our personal view, but a truth!

We are not saying there is no truth as many do, or that we are not absolutely correct in our making the point in telling the truth. No! We are talking about a human flaw that once we start arguing a point what happens to our hearts and mind?

The argument is the issue, in making our point becomes more important than treating others how we want to be treated. That is loving our neighbor as ourselves. Someone will retort saying: “True love is telling the truth!” Once again we are not denying the importance of truth, or love for truth we are talking about another truth from a perfect mind, not our flawed mind and heart under sin.

Are we true love? Here is a truth we may not be so passionate about? No, we are not! So pure truth comes from who's mind, and perspective? Where does the truth come from and start with that mind say truth is based upon how we treat others. But we are not love, we want to be loved, and give our love, but we are not God, who is love. Now truth changes from God's point of veiw, when compared to ours which is always lacking, because we are sinners not love, and most often we do not love like God loves us or those we debate truth with.

So lets state another truth, do we sin? Yes, we all sin, we are all flawed with sin, so we all lack love for neighbor, but we try. So what is the point? Because we are flawed when we argue truth we can only argue one aspect of truth. That the doctrine of truth, correct bible doctrine is truth, but the actions of person arguing it is not truth. When we considered only factual truth we are limited to a word, as statement, a verse from our bibles.

But another truth is we are not love, which is the purist form of truth. For example, God state we all sin, hence, we are all going to died because of that sin. That truth is a proven fact for thousand's of years since the very first sin all are dying.

If God says that truth is more important than His love for our eternal life, as most of us human do in debating a truth God would not have fixed the problem of sin, by sending us his Son Christ Jesus out of love. In other words, arguing that we are all sinner, proving it relentlessly without let up for thousand's of years would not have changed very many peoples minds, and heart, why?

Simply, because it not love, the whole truth, not just one facet of truth, but what true love does, in treating others as we wanted to be treated. Stating a truth is not living the truth, nor is an argument, in proving the other person is wrong, defeating them for pried of being right. Defeating others with so called truth of doctrine has nothing to do with love.

This is the flaw found in all of us human's, we get duped into thinking a fact, a truth, sets people free, and our pounding that truth is love, our repeating that truth is something the other person needs because we believe they are blinded because they won't accept it. However, the person preaching the so called truth is just as blinded by their own need to preach some truth lacking love.

Truth does not change a person, it is the love of God that does, when we acknowledge none of us are truth, none of us measure up to God's standard of truth, and then come to understand God's great patient with us over the years, which is true love. In Him not giving up on us because we could not understand some bible doctrine, we come to understand truth is not truth without love.

Moreover, the truth should not produce hate in us for others, it should empower us with the fruits of Holy Spirit, but if we are honest accepting the truth of the sin in us, most of the time it does not produce love, patient, long suffering, but rather hate for those rejecting the truth we are teaching. We justify our hate by saying we doing our preaching out of love. Yet, we know nothing about the person and if honest we don't care about their life accept to teach them some truth. But not God, and his truth, he is intimately involved in all aspects of the person life when teaching them the truth not only in word but action of the Holy Spirit.

Blinded by the truth is frightening because it has the power of zeal for something more righteous than ourselves, allowing us to make harsh judgments for a truth! But again the argument and judgment are only partial truth, because it does not consider us as a whole, that is, our person how we actually act, feel and think. The upholding a truth dismisses our personal conduct which may be anything but truth of God's word the bible.

It gives us a false righteousness believing we are better than a sinner like all of us really are, because we uphold a truth from the same book that condemns man's righteousness as falling short, of God's glory.

So how do we teach truth? In other words, “because I am a sinner, I can't be truth, or pure love, so I fall short maybe I should keep my mouth shut?” Subsequently, and unwittingly, we now know why the early Christian's didn't teach themselves, but the Christ who is the truth of God.

They understood unmerited kindness, and/or undeserved kindness in God even dealing with them as his children. So they never considered themselves more that that. But they could give a good gift to other sinners that would not disappoint them and always constantly changing truth in their life. They taught nothing but the Christ and him impaled.

You see, hatred, jealousy, fights, debates come from us putting ourselves before the truth, Christ Jesus, something we all do, lets not lie but speak truth each one with his neighbor.

The great disappointment in religion, and religious people come from them presenting themselves as having nothing but good fruit upon their religious tree, which is a lie! Once a person compares the fruit against a truth, it fall short and hate comes to the person because they have made themselves more that what God has accounted them in the flesh.

Shooting word's at the enemy based upon truth's from the bible does help, it only aggravates the problem more, why? Because the person is waging war with flesh that falls short of God's glory. People know the truth of all humans they all fall short of God's righteousness, so what are they being so ugly for over some doctrine from the bible, something they are no better at than the other guy?

Preaching Christ, is the key, in not preaching the flesh, us! Then the person is drawn to Christ for his love for us, and his Father which clears the heart and mind from contention and hate for fellowman unseemly failings. We stop waring with flesh, and uses Christ example of perfect faith and love allowing other in the flesh to compare themselves not against us, but Christ. Being bold in Christ is not being bold in ourselves, we can't be bold in ourselves, we are flesh, but we can be bold in Christ if we are actually in Christ the Spirit!

Because we all fall short putting us humbly under God's great undeserved kindness that is what we share, that is, truth based upon love the highest truth of our universe, the only truth that imparts life to its listener.
