For He Who Is Not Against Us Is For Us!

Luke.9:47 Jesus, perceiving the reasoning of their hearts, took a little child, and set him by his side, 9:48 and said to them, "Whoever receives this little child in my name receives me. Whoever receives me receives him who sent me. For whoever is least among you all, this one will be great." 9:49 John answered, "Master, we saw someone casting out demons in your name, and we forbade him, because he doesn't follow with us."
9:50 Jesus said to him, "Don't forbid him, for he who is not against us is for us."

All of us want unity we want people to agree with us, and we don't like rejecting people. However, is unity at all cost something Christ believed and taught, or did his apostles?

Matt.10:34 "Don't think that I came to send peace on the earth. I didn't come to send peace, but a sword. 10:35 For I came to set a man at odds against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law. 10:36 A man's foes will be those of his own household.{Micah 7:6} 10:37 He who loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; and he who loves son or daughter more than me isn't worthy of me. 10:38 He who doesn't take his cross and follow after me, isn't worthy of me.
10:39 He who seeks his life will lose it; and he who loses his life for my sake will find it. 10:40 He who receives you receives me, and he who receives me receives him who sent me.

Many Christian's today felicitously sight Christ words here above to give authority of Christ accepting false religion as long as they used his name, which is, total against what Christ actually taught time and time again. Many, not a few, in fact the majority of Christian's used Jesus name to give authority to their works, but Christ pointedly stated he did not know them, for them to get away from him, his did not association with them because they were not his followers but lawless.

Matt. 7:22 Many will tell me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, didn't we prophesy in your name, in your name cast out demons, and in your name do many mighty works?' 7:23 Then I will tell them, 'I never knew you. Depart from me, you who work iniquity.'

1 John 3:9 Whoever is born of God doesn't commit sin, because his seed remains in him; and he can't sin, because he is born of God.

Subsequently, if we don't put Christ words above into context with the rest of his teaching when saying: “for he who is not against us is for us”! We simply will be mislead into accepting all manner of false teaching as the light of Christ, which of course, is impossible for Christ to accept a lie, and/or false teaching. Christ is light, he is the truth, and the law of God, he is not lawless, nor can he be, he is incorruptible life meaning he does not endorse or place his name upon lawless people as doing God's works, so what is the context of Christ words?

2 Peter 2:14 having eyes full of adultery, and who can't cease from sin; enticing unsettled souls; having a heart trained in greed; children of cursing;

James 3:11 Does a spring send out from the same opening fresh and bitter water? 3:12 Can a fig tree, my brothers, yield olives, or a vine figs? Thus no spring yields both salt water and fresh water.

Jealousy a Work of the Flesh

First, lets look at the context of what Jesus had just stated before we look at his often misquoted so called "unity" words. His apostles were acting fleshly in seeking the greatest position in the Kingdom. Note, the loving rebuke Christ used to show the Spirit of God's Kingdom and not the fleshly spirit found in the kingdom of Israel at the time? A kingdom Christ would soon reject in a few short years, Christ would soon say God had abandon his house because of their jealousy of Christ works . Israel spirit was just like the brothers of Joseph had having a murderous spirit for him, because its seem to them their father Jacob was playing favorites with Joseph. This outrage his brothers because they felt they had "earned" by their works greater importance than their younger brother Joseph. Now the apostles had the same spirit of jealousy over their own position among each other they thought they deserved with Christ, totally against the Spirit, and Christ in his Kingdom. Now these people who were not even in their private group were doing the powerful works entrusted to them; the apostles of Christ.

Matthew 23:38 Behold, your house is left to you desolate.

Matt.10:5 Jesus sent these twelve out, and commanded them, saying, "Don't go among the Gentiles, and don't enter into any city of the Samaritans. 10:6 Rather, go to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. 10:7 As you go, preach, saying, 'The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand!' 10:8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers{TR adds ", raise the dead"}, and cast out demons. Freely you received, so freely give.

This is the context when John the one dearly loved by Christ piped up about those not following them, that is, with the twelve who were expelling demons in Christ name. Thinking it was the apostles job and position not to let them, preventing them because they were authorized by Christ to do so, but were they? They jealousy guarded their position, like all fleshly minded worldly people do.

James 3:14 But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your heart, don't boast and don't lie against the truth.
3:15 This wisdom is not that which comes down from above, but is earthly, sensual, and demonic. 3:16 For where jealousy and selfish ambition are, there is confusion and every evil deed. 3:17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceful, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. 3:18 Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.

But were these expelling demons of another religion, another household, like the Gentles, which often used to justify false religion today, or were they Jews in the household of God whom Christ was sent only to, by God's command?

The Household of God

Many today because of lack of knowledge don't know what God's household is, or what it means to be in God's household, or how Israel became God's household? First, God's household exist for his name sake, that is, to represent God ways on earth, to magnify his righteousness on earth by his household.

Heb. 3:1 Therefore, holy brothers, partakers of a heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession, Jesus;
3:2 who was faithful to him who appointed him, as also was Moses in all his house. 3:3 For he has been counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as he who built the house has more honor than the house. 3:4 For every house is built by someone; but he who built all things is God. 3:5 Moses indeed was faithful in all his house as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were afterward to be spoken, 3:6 but Christ is faithful as a Son over his house; whose house we are, if we hold fast our confidence and the glorying of our hope firm to the end.

The household of God was dedicated by the blood of a covenant, putting them under God's control through their mediator of the law given to Moses as their head. They were baptized into Moses as they under went as good as death experience when walking through the parted red-sea miraculously opened by God's power. The same baptism that killed Egypt might war machine.

1Cor.10:1 Now I would not have you ignorant, brothers, that our fathers were all under the cloud, and all passed through the sea;
10:2 and were all baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea;
10:3 and all ate the same spiritual food; 10:4 and all drank the same spiritual drink. For they drank of a spiritual rock that followed them, and the rock was Christ.

Christ came to finish God's purpose in physical Israel (household) completing it bring in a spiritual household taken from the fleshly Israel by faith. Christ was completing the laws last usage transforming those that believed in him as the Son of God, God anointed, God's passover lamb that would by his precious life instituting a new covenant setting aside the law which included the law given to Moses as physical Israel mediator of the law.

Rom.10:4 For Christ is the fulfillment{or, completion, or end} of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.
10:5 For Moses writes about the righteousness of the law, "The one who does them will live by them."{Leviticus 18:5}

The Power of God

We cannot deny they had God's power those expelling demons by the power of Christ name. Christ did not warn the apostles that these men were not authorized to use his name in expelling demons, as he had done in part of the Sermon on the Mount saying: many at some point would use his name in doing powerful works, but they were not made righteous by his life, as his apostles would soon be once he was pour out for their his sins, and anointed, then indwelt with his life washing them clean and sanctifying them as vessels of the living God, as the holy temple of God.

1 Corinthians 6:11 Such were some of you, but you were washed. But you were sanctified. But you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and in the Spirit of our God.

Christ acknowledge by not rejecting these men as he had often did the teachers of Israel as being from their forefather the Devil and not God, by their evil spirit. Moreover, Christ had just corrected the same spirit found in his apostles, who seeking power, position and control in his coming kingdom.

John 5:45 "Don't think that I will accuse you to the Father. There is one who accuses you, even Moses, on whom you have set your hope.

John 8:19 They said therefore to him, "Where is your Father?" Jesus answered, "You know neither me, nor my Father. If you knew me, you would know my Father also."

John 8:42 Therefore Jesus said to them, "If God were your father, you would love me, for I came out and have come from God. For I haven't come of myself, but he sent me.

John 8:44 You are of your father, the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and doesn't stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks on his own; for he is a liar, and its father.

Their perceiving Christ was God's anointed Son on earth putting faith in him, had to be reveal to them by God himself by his Spirit the very thing Christ blessed his disciples for that man had not reveal that he was the Son of Man, but God had. These men were going to be in the new household of God because the power they were using was authorized by God not stolen as the false teachers of Israel were doing as the keeper of God's power.

Luke 10:21 In that same hour Jesus rejoiced in the Holy Spirit, and said, "I thank you, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you have hidden these things from the wise and understanding, and revealed them to little children. Yes, Father, for so it was well-pleasing in your sight."

Isa.40:10 Behold, the Lord Yahweh will come as a mighty one, and his arm will rule for him. Behold, his reward is with him, and his recompense before him. 40:11 He will feed his flock like a shepherd. He will gather the lambs in his arm, and carry them in his bosom. He will gently lead those who have their young.
40:12 Who has measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, and marked off the sky with his span, and calculated the dust of the earth in a measure, and weighed the mountains in scales, and the hills in a balance? 40:13 Who has directed the Spirit of Yahweh, or has taught him as his counselor? 40:14 Who did he take counsel with, and who instructed him, and taught him in the path of justice, and taught him knowledge, and showed him the way of understanding?

Moreover, proving, compounding the point he had just made with his own apostles that haughtiness in seeking power within God's kingdom was not accepted by the loving Spirit of God, or by the fact God was choosing the lowly things, not the leaders of their religion. These men were not leaders and teachers in Israel they were doing the work of Christ by using his name. They were not expelling demons in John the baptist name, or in the name of Jehovah, or their own, but in Christ, who was at this point being rejected as demon possess apostate from the Jewish faith.

Weed and Wheat

In Matthew the Seventh Chapter Christ speak much about false religion, but once again the context is important. First, let reiterate that the teachers of Israel were not using Christ name for anything coming from God in Israel at the time Jesus spoke in Matthew Chapter Seven. Moreover, there were not 51-thousands sects of the Jewish faith as we find among Christianity today at the time of Christ speaking his words about many would come using his name that prophecy was yet to happen in the future, not present.

John.9:20 His parents answered them, "We know that this is our son, and that he was born blind; 9:21 but how he now sees, we don't know; or who opened his eyes, we don't know. He is of age. Ask him. He will speak for himself." 9:22 His parents said these things because they feared the Jews; for the Jews had already agreed that if any man would confess him as Christ, he would be put out of the synagogue. 9:23 Therefore his parents said, "He is of age. Ask him."
9:24 So they called the man who was blind a second time, and said to him, "Give glory to God. We know that this man is a sinner."

Subsequently, his words would happen when he later spoke of a time that weeds would over sow God's planting of true son's of his kingdom, wheat! Furthermore, in the same vein of thought Christ spoke of yeast of false teaching corrupting his teaching on earth of his kingdom.

Matt. 13:24 He set another parable before them, saying, "The Kingdom of Heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field,
13:25 but while people slept, his enemy came and sowed darnel weeds{darnel is a weed grass (probably bearded darnel or lolium temulentum) that looks very much like wheat until it is mature, when the difference becomes very apparent.} also among the wheat, and went away.
13:26 But when the blade sprang up and brought forth fruit, then the darnel weeds appeared also.
13:27 The servants of the householder came and said to him, 'Sir, didn't you sow good seed in your field? Where did this darnel come from?'
13:28 "He said to them, 'An enemy has done this.' "The servants asked him, 'Do you want us to go and gather them up?'

Then there would many, not a few using Christ name falsely not of him or part of his body, that is, God's household making them without the blood of Christ doing powerful works that was from another household of Satan. Lawless, without the power of Christ life. and without the law of Christ. They would exist in sin, which is, lawlessness to God. All sin is lawlessness, not some, if one is not in Christ having their sins removed, not accounted against them by his life in dwelling them as God's anointed they are lawless having no power from Christ life to expel demons or do any of God's powerful works.

2 Thessalonians 2:7 For the mystery of lawlessness already works. Only there is one who restrains now, until he is taken out of the way.

1 John 3:4 Everyone who sins also commits lawlessness. Sin is lawlessness.

1 John 3:6 Whoever remains in him doesn't sin. Whoever sins hasn't seen him, neither knows him.

They were mislead, and were misleading others by their works, but not by their fruits. Now if a person is fleshly, as weeds are than they judge the power of prophets by their success in this world by wealth, power, prestige and so on. . . , which has nothing to do with God's kingdom, the same thing Christ had reproved his disciple over for seeking the same.

Matthew 10:25 It is enough for the disciple that he be like his teacher, and the servant like his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebul, how much more those of his household!

Luke.22:24 There arose also a contention among them, which of them was considered to be greatest. 22:25 He said to them, "The kings of the nations lord it over them, and those who have authority over them are called 'benefactors.' 22:26 But not so with you. But one who is the greater among you, let him become as the younger, and one who is governing, as one who serves. 22:27 For who is greater, one who sits at the table, or one who serves? Isn't it he who sits at the table? But I am in the midst of you as one who serves.

The power of doing mighty works caused a misleading because they were not looking at the corruption on the tree, they refused truth because they justify the evil by the powerful works. What government, religion, or business doesn't do the same in Satan world?

2 Corinthians 11:14 And no wonder, for even Satan masquerades as an angel of light.

The nation are mislead and will be mislead into a war against God because of a false prophet that does powerful works.

Revelation 16:13 I saw coming out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet, three unclean spirits, something like frogs;

Revelation 19:20 The beast was taken, and with him the false prophet who worked the signs in his sight, with which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. These two were thrown alive into the lake of fire that burns with sulfur.

Revelation 20:10 The devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet are also. They will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

Seeking True Righteousness

Are we seeking true righteousness or the power of some gift we want recognition for on earth? Do we want Christ righteousness rejected by this world, or do we want the world and the spirit of this world in lust for power, greed, glory of men?

1 John 4:5 They are of the world. Therefore they speak of the world, and the world hears them.

There is no confusion over the true tree of God, which can only produce good fruit, and cannot produce evil and/or corrupt fruit, the confusion is for those not part of God's tree. Rather, they are mislead by false prophets by powerful works performed among the weeds; the fleshly Christian's planted by Satan own hand to deceive the truth of Christ righteousness.

Philippians 1:11 being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.

Philippians 3:9 and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own, that which is of the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith;

The fruit of righteousness don't lie, Christ life does not play by the rules of the flesh, that is, of this world. The flesh of these false prophets lust against the Spirit of God, and is opposed to Christ. Christ knew the spirit of those men expelling demons, he was not confused if they were doing God's works by his name, Christ didn't listen to words, he tested the spirit, not the flesh.

John 8:15 You judge according to the flesh. I judge no one.

Romans 8:7 because the mind of the flesh is hostile towards God; for it is not subject to God's law, neither indeed can it be.

Romans 8:8 Those who are in the flesh can't please God.

Weed Christian's test the flesh, by fighting with it to watch it act badly so they can judge the flesh as evil, not of God. The conclusion is always the same, being mislead more by words that use God's word denying the truth of the fruit of righteousness which is not of our flesh at all!

Romans 8:9 But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if it is so that the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if any man doesn't have the Spirit of Christ, he is not his.

Romans 8:12 So then, brothers, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.

James 3:18 Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.

Ephesians 4:24 and put on the new man, who in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of truth.

Ephesians 5:9 for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth.

What fruit, stolen fruit calling them God's working by justifying their own works as God tree for everlasting life. No person on earth is God's tree, Christ is, not human born into sin or their powerful works, their fruits prove it, they are corruption from sin, dying, and cannot give anyone the fruit of everlasting life. They can only justify corrupt fruit by declaring them God's.

Luke 16:15 He said to them, "You are those who justify yourselves in the sight of men, but God knows your hearts. For that which is exalted among men is an abomination in the sight of God.

7:18 For I know that in me, that is, in my flesh, dwells no good thing. For desire is present with me, but I don't find it doing that which is good.

Powerful works in the spirit of this world and its lust and showy display of means of life, giving support so they can boast in being blessed of God by false powers of darkness. Boasting and bragging in their great building projects what the world is saying about their wonderful crowds filling up sports statums, the more successful in numbers the more the world accepts them as legitimate, proving their powerful works as done in Christ name.

John.5:38 You don't have his word living in you; because you don't believe him whom he sent. 5:39 "You search the Scriptures, because you think that in them you have eternal life; and these are they which testify about me. 5:40 Yet you will not come to me, that you may have life. 5:41 I don't receive glory from men.
5:42 But I know you, that you don't have God's love in yourselves.

Now having said that, Christ did not request a legal examination at the mouth of two or more witnesses to see if the power within these men were from Satan or God? He knew immediately and did not need to explain or justify his words. In fact, Christ never held a committee meeting of any kind, requesting that evidence be brought for against anyone while on earth. Nor did he instructed his body members or the apostles to do so.

1 John 4:11 Beloved, if God loved us in this way, we also ought to love one another.

1 John 4:12 No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God remains in us, and his love has been perfected in us.

1 John 4:16 We know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and he who remains in love remains in God, and God remains in him.
There was no need of a greater witness that indwelt Christ, God, by Holy Spirit, which cannot lie or bring false accusation. Nor does the Spirit of God lust for power, recognition, or trying to make a good name by proving he is a fair judge. God is not building a career in some religion or government that he must prove how he can be a fair judge that is a work of the flesh and of this world.

James 1:16 Don't be deceived, my beloved brothers.
1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow. 1:18 Of his own will he brought us forth by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of first fruits of his creatures.

Moreover, that is why the apostle John in his letters did not fret over false brothers that somehow if he did not prevent them they would take over the Spirit of God indwelling all of his children. What John did was to encourage trust in what they had in them, he stated the Spirit is the truth, simple truth we should know by the Spirit that indwell us from the beginning of their anointing.

1 John 5:6 This is he who came by water and blood, Jesus Christ; not with the water only, but with the water and the blood. It is the Spirit who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth.

It did not require a massive legal corporation to protect the truth of the Spirit of God, it did not take a body of men to make sure by doctrine the sheep had the truth. Christ didn't worry that for more than two thousand's years weeds were oversown into the field of the son's of God's kingdom. There was no fighting or debating to hang on to the truth of the Spirit, who on earth or in heaven could take God's holy, holy, holy Spirit and corrupt it with their teachings, or deceive God by powerful works, if those works were from his Spirit or not?

2 Timothy 2:19 However God's firm foundation stands, having this seal, "The Lord knows those who are his,"{Numbers 16:5} and, "Let every one who names the name of the Lord{TR reads "Christ" instead of "the Lord"} depart from unrighteousness."

Does God not know who is of his household, or not? Does God not know what is a weed, or a wheat? Is God's hand short that he lied in giving us his Spirit saying we need no one to teach us the difference of what is from God and what is from the flesh?

Gal.3:1 Foolish Galatians, who has bewitched you not to obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was openly set forth among you as crucified? 3:2 I just want to learn this from you. Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by hearing of faith?
3:3 Are you so foolish? Having begun in the Spirit, are you now completed in the flesh? 3:4 Did you suffer so many things in vain, if it is indeed in vain? 3:5 He therefore who supplies the Spirit to you, and works miracles among you, does he do it by the works of the law, or by hearing of faith?

Do we create mountains of legal argument day in, day out to figure out the truth? Well, if we do that God has not revealed Christ to us, by his Spirit, we instead have a false Christ revealed to us by the flesh and/or a false religion that cannot take your sins away which will end up where it started in a worker of lawlessness.

Gal. 4:1 But I say that so long as the heir is a child, he is no different from a bondservant, though he is lord of all;
4:2 but is under guardians and stewards until the day appointed by the father.
4:3 So we also, when we were children, were held in bondage under the elemental principles of the world.
4:4 But when the fullness of the time came, God sent out his Son, born to a woman, born under the law,
4:5 that he might redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of children.
4:6 And because you are children, God sent out the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, "Abba,{Abba is a Greek spelling for the Aramaic word for "Father" or "Daddy" used in a familiar, respectful, and loving way.} Father!"
4:7 So you are no longer a bondservant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.
4:8 However at that time, not knowing God, you were in bondage to those who by nature are not gods.
4:9 But now that you have come to know God, or rather to be known by God, why do you turn back again to the weak and miserable elemental principles, to which you desire to be in bondage all over again?
