All Things Are Yours - Part Two

1Cor.3:21 Therefore let no one boast in men. For all things are yours.

Man complicates all his ways in every simple truth of life he makes volumes of legal arguments to prove a point. Yes, that is a truth, a truth that all flesh lives in fear of that of being tricked, in feeling foolish, in being humiliated, in not looking intelligent enough to their peers; this inordinate fear of being corrected complicates everything mankind set their hearts and minds to do. In friendship, in family, in marriage, in religion, it is a truth that goes without saying we trust no one, so how could we ever know God when the very premise of our relationship with God rest upon one-thing only - that of trust!

Psalms 18:26 With the pure, you will show yourself pure. With the crooked you will show yourself shrewd.

All things are yours that is what the apostle Paul's words stated two thousand years ago to the body of Christ, nothing lacked for those in the body of Christ. Yet, two thousand's years later we have anything but that truth among Christian's. Everything depends upon Christian's, it would seem according to their religious teachings, like restoring God's name, preaching the Good news, feeding the sheep, finding new truth for the body of Christ, nothing depends upon God, so does all things belong to us, or God? We have a legacy in all religions regarding how some man, or woman fought, died, to make sure the truth would be persevered for mankind.

John 14:6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.

But at the same time we have all the confusion and lies that many of those so called truth(s) caused in sadness and injury to so many loving God! How many prophecy have failed by ones boasting they were speaking for God? How many people ruined their entire lives and their children over believing those lies, who indeed is going to take credit for those efforts, God, or man?

Psalms 40:4 Blessed is the man who makes Yahweh his trust, and doesn't respect the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.

Psalms 146:3 Don't put your trust in princes, each a son of man in whom there is no help.

Proverbs 3:5 Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding.

Sadly, the very thought of Paul's words that all things are yours is lost, obscured when the first part of his statement is ignored, overlooked, or just deliberately paid no attention to, and what is that? It says: “Don't boast in men!” Yes, the key element of failure in Christ is looking to men in their flesh to restore truth of God to mankind.

James 1:18 Of his own will he brought us forth by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of first fruits of his creatures.

Let Creation Teach Us

Although, creation is complex the ways of creation are always predictable and follow patterns. For example we don't when planting weeds we don't think we are going to get wheat! We understand the feeding pattern that animal have or one could not rise livestock, we understand how fish act or most of the world couldn't be feed, so lets not complicate our ways into what so many Christian's love to delve into the depth of creation science to unravel the mystery of God.

1 Corinthians 3:18 Let no one deceive himself. If anyone thinks that he is wise among you in this world, let him become a fool, that he may become wise.

Psalms 91:11 For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways.

Proverbs 1:19 So are the ways of everyone who is greedy for gain. It takes away the life of its owners.

Isaiah 55:8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, says Yahweh. 55:9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

In other words, there nothing wrong with us being humbled by God's masterful creation in all of it complicity, but when Christ used the creation so often in his teaching it was with building up the faith in others. Simply put, if God takes care of the birds, do we need science to teach us all things about how birds feed themselves? No! We need to trust that God will take care of us, simply by observing the birds of the heavens we can see how much God loves his for his smallest creation, are we not worth more; that was Christ question to us? If every little detail of a birds life was created by God, what of mankind, are they less?

John 2:24 But Jesus didn't trust himself to them, because he knew everyone,

2 Corinthians 1:9 Yes, we ourselves have had the sentence of death within ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God who raises the dead.

We know every problem of mankind is based upon one thing “distrust” the unbelief that mankind will not do the right thing, so we must fight to have our ways, we must struggle to keep our job, our family, pay our bills. Yes, the start of all prejudices, and racism is distrust. From that point truth is lost of God, we must face the facts at some point we do not trust God or there would not be 52-thousand Christian's religion in this world and billions of people divide by distrust of religion and the teaching of people in those religion.

1 Corinthians 14:33 for God is not a God of confusion, but of peace. As in all the assemblies of the saints.

James. 3:16 For where jealousy and selfish ambition are, there is confusion and every evil deed. 3:17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceful, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
3:18 Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.

The lesson of creation is lost to the mind of a person living in distrust. Religion is a unity of one group of like minded believers, while rejecting another group of people that don't believe our way. Immediately, once a person rejects our thinking they become our enemy thinking wicked thoughts about us or them, every conversation is their efforts to get us to agree on some small point to prove we are wrong so we can accept the rest of what they teach. Thus, we start from distrust, and end in distrust because we are boasting in men, men in their flesh, which are themselves according to God's word the bible liars. Yes, all flesh lies, it does not tell you the truth, it uses words to avoided speaking its true heart condition preparing their listener by deception of words, to finally at some point in time give them the truth of how they really feel about some subject.

Ephesians 4:25 Therefore, putting away falsehood, speak truth each one with his neighbor. For we are members of one another.

2 Corinthians 4:2 But we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by the manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.

This same line of thought is applied to God, he must not be telling us the truth holding something back, just like Satan said to Eve, so how could all things of Christ belong to us? The lessons of creation then is lost, the very thing Christ spoke that should give us trust in God are used to take away trust in anything, because, lets us not forget we are boasting in men, as though they speak for God, and their works are God's works, but if they actually do speak for God, why all the distrust?

1 Corinthians 12:25 that there should be no division in the body, but that the members should have the same care for one another.

Ephesians 4:3 being eager to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

Ephesians 4:13 until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a full grown man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ;

Everything is lacking in mankind, all mankind is selling us something, every-time some one does something important they sell us a book so we can find the secret to happiness and success like them. So the push for importance in this life is new discovery so mankind has some hope to cling to in this life. But like a flower in the field it fades so quickly they must move on to the next big find to keep the excitement in the flesh going. New, new, new, old is evil, new is better, the next new technology, the next new light found in the bible, the next new prophecy and so on. . . All built from distrust that God is even alive, is Christ alive? Is he doing anything? One would think not the way the flesh has to constant entertain people with new bible drama to make Christ even real.

Ecclesiastes 1:9 That which has been is that which shall be; and that which has been done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.

Starting Point of All Truth

Nothing on earth can make us believe God exist, or even cares about us unless we first trust. Unless, we can deny all that mankind is doing, and believe God is love, we are boasting in flesh, and/or men. We asking men to save us by some truth they reveal too us. Which will always be a disappointment leading us to distrust, ending a Spirit and truth relationship with God.

Ecclesiastes 1:15 That which is crooked can't be made straight; and that which is lacking can't be counted.

Philippians 2:15 that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you are seen as lights in the world.

All things in Christ belong to us if we start with trust for God's love that every word he speaks is love, and not evil, and he is not waiting or holding back to help us, or reveal some new truth that will change our relationship from one of love into distrust because we did into have all the facts. God is not hiding anything from us, the truth is not lost, or has it every been lost.

1 Thessalonians 2:13 For this cause we also thank God without ceasing, that, when you received from us the word of the message of God, you accepted it not as the word of men, but, as it is in truth, the word of God, which also works in you who believe.

Ephesians 5:9 for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth/

Ephesians 4:21 if indeed you heard him, and were taught in him, even as truth is in Jesus:

Romans 1:25 who exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.

When we associate with a religion build by men and boasting in men and truth's change or lies are exposed and fear and distrust entered into our hearts that we have been mislead or tricked, we have boast in men, we have put faith in men, we have chosen the worship of men over God. But it has nothing whatsoever to do with God, or his truth, Jesus Christ. It is that we are fleshly and we tried worshiping God through flesh walking by sight and not Spirit and truth in faith.

Creation Does not Lie!

Those in Christ are part of Christ body each Christian's knows from their bible who is the head of that body. There can be no doubt in that truth unless we chose not to believe in the headship arrangement. Once we reject that headship we are boasting in men. Once we put an another person in Christ position as head of the body we are in the flesh distrusting and imputing evil to God because of our fleshly thinking.

Romans 8:8 Those who are in the flesh can't please God.

Romans 8:9 But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if it is so that the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if any man doesn't have the Spirit of Christ, he is not his.

All things belong to who, then? Let us break this down? Paul is making a simple logical conclusion anyone of us can find in all creation of mankind. If we are Christ body, than all things are Christ, he is the head of the body. We belong to Christ, that is, his body, not to ourselves or to some other headship, rather that be work, religion, a man, a woman, we belong to Christ as his life, not our own. Yes, body parts all have one life in it, the life of the body, not many lives in the body, but one. We don't have many faith's, we have the faith of Christ Jesus, it is in all his body not our own fleshly bodies faith.

1 Corinthians 11:3 But I would have you know that the head of every man is Christ, and the head of the woman is the man, and the head of Christ is God.

Ephesians 4:15 but speaking truth in love, we may grow up in all things into him, who is the head, Christ;

Ephesians 5:23 For the husband is the head of the wife, and Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body.

Colossians 1:18 He is the head of the body, the assembly, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

We have the food of the body, not many mouths feeding body, but one directing by the mind of the body to eat and feed the rest of the body. Look at creation, look at your own body, no mystery here unless you are boasting in men looking to a foreigner mouth to feed you from something they have found and researched digested for you from another body and then tea spoon feed it too you by repetitively repeating it over and over again?
Galatians 5:24 Those who belong to Christ have crucified the flesh with its passions and lusts.

Galatians 6:8 For he who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption. But he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.

Does Christ eat poison to trick the body, to make it sick? Is this the body your a part of? Does Christ lie, asking us to believe a lie, so he can look good to someone your teaching? How foolish, do we eat poison to punish one of our own body members, who would believe such a horrific lie!

Proverbs 26:5 Answer a fool according to his folly, lest he be wise in his own eyes.

Proverbs 26:12 Do you see a man wise in his own eyes? There is more hope for a fool than for him.

Hence, if we are in Christ all things for the body is ours. Lets look at that for one moment, let us not skim over such a profound truth that some would just love to make a legal argument out of. How simple, do we believe when we eat and apple that we are doing what is best for the body? Do we divide off various parts of our own body feeding different foods, so one body part can say?

“The food I get from the mouth is more important or better than yours!” Are we not boasting in men? Yes, for we are not boasting in Christ feeding us the same food for the whole body so we can speak truth, all things in the body is for us, all the food coming into the body is for us our life our spiritual nourishment.

1 Corinthians 10:16 The cup of blessing which we bless, isn't it a sharing of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, isn't it a sharing of the body of Christ? 10:17 Because there is one loaf of bread, we, who are many, are one body; for we all partake of the one loaf of bread.

1 Corinthians 12:12 For as the body is one, and has many members, and all the members of the body, being many, are one body; so also is Christ. 12:13 For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether bond or free; and were all given to drink into one Spirit. 12:14 For the body is not one member, but many. 12:15 If the foot would say, "Because I'm not the hand, I'm not part of the body," it is not therefore not part of the body. 12:16 If the ear would say, "Because I'm not the eye, I'm not part of the body," it's not therefore not part of the body.

Does the hand say: “I am leaving the body into this religion because I like that food from those mouths better?” If I eat there at least I will get some recognition for my hard work done for Christ! Does the foot dictate to the head what food its going to walk over and pick off the shelve to eat for dinner? What does creation teach us, not much if we are boasting in men feeding us.

1 Corinthians 3:20 And again, "The Lord knows the reasoning of the wise, that it is worthless."{Psalm 94:11}

Romans 12:16 Be of the same mind one toward another. Don't set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Don't be wise in your own conceits.

How can there be division over food in the body of Christ unless we are walking by flesh? There can't be, because it goes against all creation, our own body does not exist divided, does it. Should we impune the incorruptible life of Christ for our own foolish glory?

Fears From Another Body

The truth is we have a body, not of Christ that is of the flesh with all its fears and distrust that we are translating Spirit words into fleshly thinking causing us great confusion, judgment and fear.

1 John 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear has punishment. He who fears is not made perfect in love.

Hebrews 13:6 So that with good courage we say, "The Lord is my helper. I will not fear. What can man do to me?"{Psalm 118:6-7}

2 Timothy 1:7 For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control.

Trust is the starting point for us, something we know in our own body, our body parts don't distrust or question every little decision that the head of the body make for its. In fact, the body parts rest in the body without worry if the head is doing its job. The body parts don't boast and lie in telling others the great works it is doing for our body, it just does not exist. It is against creation itself. In fact, the body part don't question anything in the body because they don't have a separate brain of will, alive from the body.

Hebrews 11:6 Without faith it is impossible to be well pleasing to him, for he who comes to God must believe that he exists, and that he is a rewarder of those who seek him.

Does our body parts fear that it will be left alone, or that it will be separated from the rest of the body, does it lay awake at night praying that Christ will remember us a body parts of Christ? Does the spirit body of Christ pray in the flesh and its fears? Does it depend upon us as a body members to feed, cherish, resurrects, disciple the body of Christ?

Romans 14:4 Who are you who judge another's servant? To his own lord he stands or falls. Yes, he will be made to stand, for God has power to make him stand.

Romans 14:10 But you, why do you judge your brother? Or you again, why do you despise your brother? For we will all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.

Now stop and reason, one man, many body parts, doing the will of the body to accomplish the works of God. That is the truth of creation, we are not talking about a disjointed person having each body part with its own brain, doing its own thing, its own work, calling it the works of God. We are not talking about fifty two thousand's Christian's religions all walking and doing what they believe Christ wanted on earth in division upon division and confusion.

Rom.12:1 Therefore I urge you, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service. 12:2 Don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God.
12:3 For I say, through the grace that was given me, to every man who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think reasonably, as God has apportioned to each person a measure of faith. 12:4 For even as we have many members in one body, and all the members don't have the same function, 12:5 so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another. 12:6 Having gifts differing according to the grace that was given to us, if prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of our faith; 12:7 or service, let us give ourselves to service; or he who teaches, to his teaching;
12:8 or he who exhorts, to his exhorting: he who gives, let him do it with liberality; he who rules, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness. 12:9 Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor that which is evil. Cling to that which is good.
12:10 In love of the brothers be tenderly affectionate one to another; in honor preferring one another;
12:11 not lagging in diligence; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;
12:12 rejoicing in hope; enduring in troubles; continuing steadfastly in prayer;

What drives the flesh, fear of judgment from God, certainly not trust as our own body members trusting our body. Fears of not doing enough unlike our own created body parts, fear of being punished by the Christ, unlike our own body does not worry about at all that we would punish our foot for not walking correctly, What does creation teach us?

Romans 1:20 For the invisible things of him since the creation of the world are clearly seen, being perceived through the things that are made, even his everlasting power and divinity; that they may be without excuse.

The question then become are we members belonging to Christ? That's the real question is it not for the flesh, but not the Spirit. Why would our own foot ask such a question if it belong to our body?

James1:2 Count it all joy, my brothers{The word for "brothers" here and where context allows may also be correctly translated "brothers and sisters" or "siblings."}, when you fall into various temptations,
1:3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance.
1:4 Let endurance have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.
1:5 But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him.
1:6 But let him ask in faith, without any doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, driven by the wind and tossed.
1:7 For let that man not think that he will receive anything from the Lord.
1:8 He is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.

Now without this simple truth that creation teach each one of us, we can never have the truth, we are not in our body, which is, Christ the truth. We are judging and teaching from distrust, from our flesh, we are saying our fears are coming through our head Christ Jesus, We are teaching that Christ does not cherish and love his body, we are teaching that he treats his body members as strangers, not in love something even sinner do each day to their own bodies. Thinking we are wise in some knowledge that has nothing to do with being in Christ.

1 John 4:16 We know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and he who remains in love remains in God, and God remains in him.

You see words are nice, and they feel good, but truth is better, it is life, the life of Christ that should flow in us, and through us to others, we should boast in truth, our truth Christ. We should honor respect our head, by not teaching Christ is like this world, it false teachings, its religions, it lust for recognition, its worship of creation rather than the creator. We should walk in faith, the faith of the body given freely to all the members, a faith that cannot fail, a love that cannot deny, a power that cannot be overcome by death, sin, or our flesh. All things are yours, in Christ, all body members are yours, ever truth, every spiritual gift, every loving actions, every word spoken in the body is ours, if we have faith!

1Cor.3:18 Let no one deceive himself. If anyone thinks that he is wise among you in this world, let him become a fool, that he may become wise.
3:19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, "He has taken the wise in their craftiness."{Job 5:13}
3:20 And again, "The Lord knows the reasoning of the wise, that it is worthless."{Psalm 94:11}
3:21 Therefore let no one boast in men. For all things are yours,
3:22 whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come. All are yours,
3:23 and you are Christ's, and Christ is God's.

Lacking is not in Christ it is an acknowledgment that we are walking in our flesh that always lacks Christ, because Christ and the Spirit of God is not in our flesh. We must speak truth, with ourselves, and our brothers and sisters, not lying when we know our actions and thoughts are not in Christ. We are not preaching ourselves, or protecting ourselves by deceiving ourselves and others because we don't won't to speak truth. Hence, when we learn to separate the flesh from the Spirit, we know the truth, what is in God, and what is in us. We know why we lack in the flesh, and we know we can't lack when we are in the Spirit, but we don't teach both are the same because we want to look good to others.

1Cor.11:17 But in giving you this command, I don't praise you, that you come together not for the better but for the worse.
11:18 For first of all, when you come together in the assembly, I hear that divisions exist among you, and I partly believe it.
11:19 For there also must be factions among you, that those who are approved may be revealed among you.
11:20 When therefore you assemble yourselves together, it is not the Lord's supper that you eat.
11:21 For in your eating each one takes his own supper first. One is hungry, and another is drunken.
11:22 What, don't you have houses to eat and to drink in? Or do you despise God's assembly, and put them to shame who don't have? What shall I tell you? Shall I praise you? In this I don't praise you.
11:23 For I received from the Lord that which also I delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus on the night in which he was betrayed took bread.
11:24 When he had given thanks, he broke it, and said, "Take, eat. This is my body, which is broken for you. Do this in memory of me."
11:25 In the same way he also took the cup, after supper, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink, in memory of me."
11:26 For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until he comes.
11:27 Therefore whoever eats this bread or drinks the Lord's cup in a manner unworthy of the Lord will be guilty of the body and the blood of the Lord.
11:28 But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of the bread, and drink of the cup.
11:29 For he who eats and drinks in an unworthy manner eats and drinks judgment to himself, if he doesn't discern the Lord's body.
11:30 For this cause many among you are weak and sickly, and not a few sleep.
11:31 For if we discerned ourselves, we wouldn't be judged.
11:32 But when we are judged, we are punished by the Lord, that we may not be condemned with the world.
11:33 Therefore, my brothers, when you come together to eat, wait one for another.
11:34 But if anyone is hungry, let him eat at home, lest your coming together be for judgment. The rest I will set in order whenever I come.
