The Written Word

The written word is powerful, it has built kingdoms and brought them down. We cannot underestimate the power of the written word.

Numbers 11:23 Yahweh said to Moses, Has Yahweh's hand grown short? now you will see whether my word shall happen to you or not.

But what of the living word, what is the living word? Why is there so much confusion over the idea of a living Word, the Son of God, Christ Jesus?

Psalms 119:81 My soul faints for your salvation. I hope in your word.

Most of us don't think in terms of a living word, but rather a much stronger physical force in our lives the written word of God. The written word of God is given much power to our world, some of us have a relationship with the written word, while not at all having a relationship with the Living Word of God.

1 John 5:7 For there are three who testify{Only a few recent manuscripts add "in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one. And there are three that testify on earth"}:
Imputing Feelings

There are some basic concepts we should understand when dealing with the written words on paper. First, the words do not imply emotion, they give us an idea of events, we by our personal experience, education, and other factors impute our feeling into the words, making them come alive to us.

Ecclesiastes 5:1 Guard your steps when you go to God's house; for to draw near to listen is better than to give the sacrifice of fools, for they don't know that they do evil.

Jeremiah 10:23 Yahweh, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man who walks to direct his steps.

This is touted as creative and good, but it may have little to do with the truth or actually facts or reasons the idea was written by the Holy Spirit.

2 Timothy 3:16 Every Scripture is God-breathed and{or, Every writing inspired by God is} profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness.

Rom. 3:10 As it is written, "There is no one righteous; no, not one.
3:11 There is no one who understands. There is no one who seeks after God. 3:12 They have all turned aside. They have together become unprofitable. There is no one who does good, no, not, so much as one."{Psalms 14:1-3; 53:1-3; Ecclesiastes 7:20} 3:13 "Their throat is an open tomb. With their tongues they have used deceit."{Psalm 5:9} "The poison of vipers is under their lips;"{Psalm 140:3} 3:14 "Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness."{Psalm 10:7} 3:15 "Their feet are swift to shed blood.
3:16 Destruction and misery are in their ways.
3:17 The way of peace, they haven't known."{Isaiah 59:7-8}
3:18 "There is no fear of God before their eyes."{Psalm 36:1}

Now day's people offend and get into trouble with text messaging, and/or online with written words. If the person they are speaking to has had some personal problem in a certain area it is entirely possible they will impute something into the words that was not meant at all. People assume that because its God word the same cannot be true, but it is nonetheless, true, with regards to imputing our emotions into God's word.

James. 4:1 Where do wars and fightings among you come from? Don't they come from your pleasures that war in your members?
4:2 You lust, and don't have. You kill, covet, and can't obtain. You fight and make war. You don't have, because you don't ask.
4:3 You ask, and don't receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it for your pleasures.
4:4 You adulterers and adulteresses, don't you know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.
4:5 Or do you think that the Scripture says in vain, "The Spirit who lives in us yearns jealously"?

Living words then becomes nothing more then our feeling making the text come alive, not, on the other hand, the word, Christ living in us, as truth, a big difference! This explains why no matter what sin or unrighteousness a person is doing, and wants to do, they can find some backing within God's written word, simply because they are imputing their emotions into the written word, which is dead on paper, with their agenda they our supporting, but it does not make it righteous or the truth.

James. 3:14 But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your heart, don't boast and don't lie against the truth.
3:15 This wisdom is not that which comes down from above, but is earthly, sensual, and demonic.
3:16 For where jealousy and selfish ambition are, there is confusion and every evil deed.
3:17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceful, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
3:18 Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.

There is much confusion among mankind regarding the meaning of God's word the bible just because of that reason. Yes, thousands, upon thousands of sects of the Christian religions all formed by the same book.

1 Corinthians 14:33 for God is not a God of confusion, but of peace. As in all the assemblies of the saints,

James 3:16 For where jealousy and selfish ambition are, there is confusion and every evil deed.

Genesis 11:9 Therefore its name was called Babel, because there Yahweh confused the language of all the earth. From there, Yahweh scattered them abroad on the surface of all the earth.

Adding Yeast

Men and woman throughout the history of Christianity have given their lives over words written in the Bible, so to say the truth does not matter is really a selfish act of lack of appreciation on our part, just because it does matter so much now days.

Romans 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness.

John 17:17 Sanctify them in your truth. Your word is truth.{Psalm 119:142}

The idea of yeast in the bible is a corruption added to something that is pure, like the truth. The problem arise when we add emotions to God's word and teach it as though it is the pure truth of God' word, which is shocking to most of us, it is Christ Jesus, not us, or our strong or weak emotions that God calls the truth!

John 14:6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.

Adding to something pure, free, of corruption pollutes the whole of usefulness of the lump. It is no longer good for its purposes. None using it, will no the pure form it was created in, what its true purpose is, the truth will be lost.

Matthew 13:33 He spoke another parable to them. "The Kingdom of Heaven is like yeast, which a woman took, and hid in three measures{literally, three sata. 3 sata is about 39 litres or a bit more than a bushel} of meal, until it was all leavened."

1 Corinthians 5:6 Your boasting is not good. Don't you know that a little yeast leavens the whole lump?

The problem is that all humans are corrupted by sin, we cannot get around that, we must face the truth, this is the reality of why God's word is so corrupted on earth, where extremes exist in every shadow of confusion is found in gray areas in between!

James.1:15 Then the lust, when it has conceived, bears sin; and the sin, when it is full grown, brings forth death. 1:16 Don't be deceived, my beloved brothers. 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow.

The governments of our earth since the beginning of time have the same confusion and corruption based upon their own written words. People constantly push their emotions into documents, if allowed into power their strong feelings go with them into polices. Is it better? It may seem better at the time, but what will its long term results be? Surprisingly, it will be another form of corruption. It will only relieve a problem for a few short years then the nature of corruption from sin will permeate the whole mass again and again.

1Cor. 15:50 Now I say this, brothers,{The word for "brothers" here and where context allows may also be correctly translated "brothers and sisters" or "siblings."} that flesh and blood can't inherit the Kingdom of God; neither does corruption inherit incorruption.

James.3:10 Out of the same mouth comes forth blessing and cursing. My brothers, these things ought not to be so. 3:11 Does a spring send out from the same opening fresh and bitter water?
3:12 Can a fig tree, my brothers, yield olives, or a vine figs? Thus no spring yields both salt water and fresh water.

Thus, we all add yeast from sin into God's pure written word, we impute our time and space into God's word. This is why, prophecy and other events on earth since the time of Christ have all failed, it is that simple. It is the strong emotion that we think, and/or have been taught are God's feelings. Yet, none have come true, there are millions and billions of people living in their own interpretation of God's written word. Has there ever been such an abuse of any book that ones call the truth?

Rev.22:17 The Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" He who hears, let him say, "Come!" He who is thirsty, let him come. He who desires, let him take the water of life freely. 22:18 I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book, if anyone adds to them, may God add to him the plagues which are written in this book. 22:19 If anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, may God take away his part from the tree of life, and out of the holy city, which are written in this book.

The Living Word

The word of God, not the written word of God is alive, and there is not a creation under the Sun that he does not know or rule over, right now!

Heb. 4:12 For the word of God is living, and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and is able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart. 4:13 There is no creature that is hidden from his sight, but all things are naked and laid open before the eyes of him with whom we have to do. 4:14 Having then a great high priest, who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold tightly to our confession. 4:15 For we don't have a high priest who can't be touched with the feeling of our infirmities, but one who has been in all points tempted like we are, yet without sin.
4:16 Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need.

Translating words into human emotions is guarantee to bring with it more corruption of yeast. Feeling driven by our emotions to unearth or come up with some “new” profound teachings really is a lack of faith in the living word of God, Christ Jesus the truth!

1 John 5:6 This is he who came by water and blood, Jesus Christ; not with the water only, but with the water and the blood. It is the Spirit who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth.

1 John 2:21 I have not written to you because you don't know the truth, but because you know it, and because no lie is of the truth.

2 Timothy 2:15 Give diligence to present yourself approved by God, a workman who doesn't need to be ashamed, properly handling the Word of Truth.

John 1:14 The Word became flesh, and lived among us. We saw his glory, such glory as of the one and only Son of the Father, full of grace and truth.

The living Word of God, is truth, not just truth, but incorruptible truth, that human cannot with emotion change or corrupt because their feeling are strong and believed with all passion to be right. The truth of God is not so weak as that, it is everlasting to everlasting never changing according to our emotions or time, and/or space.

Heb. 12:22 But you have come to Mount Zion, and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to innumerable multitudes of angels,
12:23 to the general assembly and assembly of the firstborn who are enrolled in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect,
12:24 to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant,{Jeremiah 31:31} and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better than that of Abel.
12:25 See that you don't refuse him who speaks. For if they didn't escape when they refused him who warned on the Earth, how much more will we not escape who turn away from him who warns from heaven,
12:26 whose voice shook the earth then, but now he has promised, saying, "Yet once more I will shake not only the earth, but also the heavens."{Haggai 2:6}
12:27 This phrase, "Yet once more," signifies the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that have been made, that those things which are not shaken may remain.
12:28 Therefore, receiving a Kingdom that can't be shaken, let us have grace, through which we serve God acceptably, with reverence and awe,
12:29 for our God is a consuming fire.{Deuteronomy 4:24}

In other words, he is the King, not us, we are the creation, we are not the king and creator of truth. We are servants, he is the Word of truth, we follow he leads. This is why we have the thought of being lead by Holy Spirit, not lead by our strong emotions.

Romans 7:18 For I know that in me, that is, in my flesh, dwells no good thing. For desire is present with me, but I don't find it doing that which is good.
We are either being lead by God's truth Christ Jesus or mislead by our emotions which is an agenda we want more than Christ, the truth. We are not translating the living words into peoples lives, unless we ourselves have been translated into Christ kingdom of love.

Colossians 1:13 who delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the Kingdom of the Son of his love;

2 Corinthians 3:18 But we all, with unveiled face beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as from the Lord, the Spirit.

We are made new from the old corruption of sin found in all flesh on earth. We have been made new, in Spirit, why? Because to be made new, we must be in Christ as his life a body member, and he is Spirit and truth void of the strong lust of our fallen flesh. Many have had their trust and faith shattered by the collapse of their faith, when tested by fire. It has been consumed as perishable material, not everlasting materials found only in Christ.

1Cor. 3:11 For no one can lay any other foundation than that which has been laid, which is Jesus Christ.
3:12 But if anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay, or stubble;
3:13 each man's work will be revealed. For the Day will declare it, because it is revealed in fire; and the fire itself will test what sort of work each man's work is.
3:14 If any man's work remains which he built on it, he will receive a reward.
3:15 If any man's work is burned, he will suffer loss, but he himself will be saved, but as through fire.
3:16 Don't you know that you are a temple of God, and that God's Spirit lives in you?

Wittingly or unwittingly they've built upon corruptible teaching, a mixture of corruption into truth from God's word the bible, but they had not gotten the Spirit lead teaching in their lives of the living Word of God ruling in heaven with power of an unshakable kingdom.

Romans 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are children of God.

John 14:17 the Spirit of truth, whom the world can't receive; for it doesn't see him, neither knows him. You know him, for he lives with you, and will be in you.

Revealing of Pure Truth

Nothing can be added or taken away from God, its that simple! Satan lied, he stated God was lacking, he was not telling all the truth, by emotion coming from the heart of the Devil himself imputed into God's words. Those today thinking something is lacking in God in his revealing truth don't know the Christ, they have not been made new translated into the life of Christ who is the truth of God. They are corrupted by flesh, and its lust for emotional truth, they long to add emotions to words of God to create feeling so they have something to connect with, why?

Jeremiah 23:4 I will set up shepherds over them, who shall feed them; and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, neither shall any be lacking, says Yahweh.

1 John 2:20 You have an anointing from the Holy One, and you all have knowledge.{Or, "know what is true." Or, "know all things."}

1 John 2:27 As for you, the anointing which you received from him remains in you, and you don't need for anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is no lie, and even as it taught you, you will remain in him.

Because they are not connected to Spirit and truth, the living life of Christ that satisfies our every spiritual need and hunger. The truth was revealed to mankind two thousand years ago in the Son of God, from him is the bread of life, the words of God that make us know the Spirit the mind of God.

Ephesians 3:5 which in other generations was not made known to the children of men, as it has now been revealed to his holy apostles and prophets in the Spirit;

Colossians 1:26 the mystery which has been hidden for ages and generations. But now it has been revealed to his saints.

2 Timothy 1:10 but has now been revealed by the appearing of our Savior, Christ Jesus, who abolished death, and brought life and immortality to light through the Good News.

1 Peter 1:12 To them it was revealed, that not to themselves, but to you, they ministered these things, which now have been announced to you through those who preached the Good News to you by the Holy Spirit sent out from heaven; which things angels desire to look into.

Feeding on corruption bring more corruption a simple truth. Feeding on incorruption bring with it eternal life, the spirit life that was lost by Adam's sin. Adding words from emotions feels good, sound good, and excite us in our flesh, but it is corruption. Adding Christ life in ours, being lead by Spirit which is Christ mind, not ours, is life, it is the light, everything less is darkness and corruption. So is
s God written word truth?

1 Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God's own possession, that you may proclaim the excellence of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light:

1 John 1:5 This is the message which we have heard from him and announce to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.

Yes, it is when Christ reveals it to us, taking away the corruption and leading us into pure truth, that is, Spirit and truth. If we are inclined to feel special more than others, we will be mislead into false teaching. If we think we are entitled because of some religious training, and/or we are anointed, we are mislead by something that does not exist in Christ our fallen flesh.

Matthew 19:17 He said to him, "Why do you call me good? No one is good but one, that is, God. But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments."

Truth Not A Competition But Faith

Flesh always competes to win, to be the first, to prove itself right, to be the best, flesh competes but does the Spirit? This a basic truth so we can separate fiction from fact? What fact, what is Spirit of God, and what is of ourselves we call God's?

1 Thessalonians 5:21 Test all things, and hold firmly that which is good.

1 John 4:1 Beloved, don't believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.

2 Corinthians 13:5 Test your own selves, whether you are in the faith. Test your own selves. Or don't you know as to your own selves, that Jesus Christ is in you?--unless indeed you are disqualified.

God is not at war with our flesh that is a untruth, the flesh of mankind in its fallen condition was destroyed by the power of an indestructible life two thousands years ago, defeated as an enemy of God. There is no competition between the flesh and God's Spirit that is a lie of yeast teaching so Christian can constantly defeat the flesh of others in a legal battle over written words dead on paper. The king, the living word of God is not defeating the flesh, he already did being rewarded with incorruptible life.

John 3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh. That which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

1 Corinthians 1:29 that no flesh should boast before God.

2 Corinthians 5:16 Therefore we know no one after the flesh from now on. Even though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now we know him so no more.

2 Corinthians 10:3 For though we walk in the flesh, we don't wage war according to the flesh; 10:4 for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds,

All those in Christ cannot then be at war with flesh, their battle is not with flesh at all, or they are living a lie! If they defeat the flesh, what has changed? What has changed for something God's tells us time and again is of no value at all?

John 6:63 It is the spirit who gives life. The flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and are life.

Romans 8:7 because the mind of the flesh is hostile towards God; for it is not subject to God's law, neither indeed can it be.

Romans 8:8 Those who are in the flesh can't please God.

Romans 8:9 But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if it is so that the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if any man doesn't have the Spirit of Christ, he is not his.

Do we comprehend what it means to be of no value at all? That judgment is from the pure truth, not from emotional truth, it is a statement of truth, fact, known by the very angels of God, witness to by the blood of the Son of God! What is left to war with? Nothing in this world, but the wicked spirit rebels that are ruling this world that is the war we are in.

1 Timothy 4:1 But the Spirit says expressly that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to seducing spirits and doctrines of demons.

Ephesians 6:12 For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.

How can we win in our flesh? How can we take up a sword created by the flesh to destroy the flesh and win a battle against powerful spiritual force in heavenly places?

Dead and Translated

Now we are at the starting point of faith, we are dead in our flesh, we have been raised with Christ translated by his life into his kingdom of love. We are not taking all things written and translating them into human righteousness as though those kingdoms of religion, government or commerce are from God, there is no need unless we are competing at war with flesh still believing it can be of value to God? We understand the power of faith, the power of Christ life to raise us from death in our flesh, and to translate us into his kingdom of love, we do not fool ourselves as so many do that that it is a fleshly work, something we can perform by the power of the written word of God, for that is a lie!

Titus. 3:3 For we were also once foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.
3:4 But when the kindness of God our Savior and his love toward mankind appeared,
3:5 not by works of righteousness, which we did ourselves, but according to his mercy, he saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit,
3:6 whom he poured out on us richly, through Jesus Christ our Savior;

Servants of The Spirit

We are not servant of the flesh, we have been freed from the flesh to become servants of the Spirit of God to reveal to others the new covenant written not upon stone, paper, parchment, but what God has written into our own hearts from his finger of Spirit.

Ephesians 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ;

Ephesians 1:20 which he worked in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and made him to sit at his right hand in the heavenly places,

Ephesians 2:6 and raised us up with him, and made us to sit with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,

Ephesians 3:10 to the intent that now through the assembly the manifold wisdom of God might be made known to the principalities and the powers in the heavenly places,

We are not to make everything into flesh again as though its of some value? No! We turn people to the Spirit where there is freedom from corruption of the flesh, where a veil is hidding the truth of the new covenant from them.

1Cor. 3:3 being revealed that you are a letter of Christ, served by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tablets of stone, but in tablets that are hearts of flesh.
3:4 Such confidence we have through Christ toward God;
3:5 not that we are sufficient of ourselves, to account anything as from ourselves; but our sufficiency is from God;
3:6 who also made us sufficient as servants of a new covenant; not of the letter, but of the Spirit. For the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.
3:7 But if the service of death, written engraved on stones, came with glory, so that the children of Israel could not look steadfastly on the face of Moses for the glory of his face; which was passing away:
3:8 won't service of the Spirit be with much more glory?
3:9 For if the service of condemnation has glory, the service of righteousness exceeds much more in glory.
3:10 For most certainly that which has been made glorious has not been made glorious in this respect, by reason of the glory that surpasses.
3:11 For if that which passes away was with glory, much more that which remains is in glory.
3:12 Having therefore such a hope, we use great boldness of speech,
3:13 and not as Moses, who put a veil on his face, that the children of Israel wouldn't look steadfastly on the end of that which was passing away.
3:14 But their minds were hardened, for until this very day at the reading of the old covenant the same veil remains, because in Christ it passes away.
3:15 But to this day, when Moses is read, a veil lies on their heart.
3:16 But whenever one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away.
3:17 Now the Lord is the Spirit and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
3:18 But we all, with unveiled face beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as from the Lord, the Spirit.

We are sufficient in this work if we have been translated, transformed by the living word of God, Christ Jesus. Acting boldly in our flesh has nothing whatsoever to do with Spirit and truth. We are not strong in the flesh, or strong in using the written word, the power that we have is from an indestructible life Christ Jesus. The power of the kingdom does not lay in the written word, but the Spirit of God working through his son to set creation free from the corruption of fleshly mind that can only propagate more unrighteous weeds seeds.

Galatians 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I that live, but Christ living in me. That life which I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself up for me.

Hebrews 7:16 who has been made, not after the law of a fleshly commandment, but after the power of an endless life:

1 Corinthians 4:20 For the Kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.

Being a servant of the bible is not a servant of Christ, many, most are servants of a religion because some person in that religion could explain the written word better than the other guy. Those written upon by the Holy Spirit are only part of the living word of God as their teacher, Master, and head. If they use the written word it is only to explain the truth the Spirit that must be revealed to that person. If God has not chosen to reveal himself to that person we are filling their heads with dead thought written upon stone, but not upon the new covenant heart, where by the way, the truth exist. We will never have a pure word of God created from the hard work of the flesh on earth in any religion, in any generation no matter how long this world goes on. The pure form of worship exist in one person for us, Christ Jesus, and he as told us is no part of this world.

Rather we believe that or even understand that, one thing is for certain, as the Christ is revealed to this earth all elements of this world, the building that are formed from corruption of flesh will be exposed, shaken, crumpling as of no value at all. There will be no mountain that stands in the way of the flesh being powerful enough to build empires or anything else under the Sun that will not be openly exposed before all putting faith in the power or the flesh to save them, we have been warned time and again. Will Christ find faith on earth?

Isa. 40:1 "Comfort, comfort my people," says your God.
40:2 "Speak comfortably to Jerusalem; and call out to her that her warfare is accomplished, that her iniquity is pardoned, that she has received of Yahweh's hand double for all her sins."
40:3 The voice of one who calls out, "Prepare the way of Yahweh in the wilderness! Make a level highway in the desert for our God.
40:4 Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low. The uneven shall be made level, and the rough places a plain.
40:5 The glory of Yahweh shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together; for the mouth of Yahweh has spoken it."
40:6 The voice of one saying, "Cry!" One said, "What shall I cry?" "All flesh is like grass, and all its glory is like the flower of the field.
40:7 The grass withers, the flower fades, because Yahweh's breath blows on it. Surely the people are like grass.
40:8 The grass withers, the flower fades; but the word of our God stands forever."
40:9 You who tell good news to Zion, go up on a high mountain. You who tell good news to Jerusalem, lift up your voice with strength. Lift it up. Don't be afraid. Say to the cities of Judah, "Behold, your God!"
40:10 Behold, the Lord Yahweh will come as a mighty one, and his arm will rule for him. Behold, his reward is with him, and his recompense before him.
40:11 He will feed his flock like a shepherd. He will gather the

lambs in his arm, and carry them in his bosom. He will gently lead those who have their young.
40:12 Who has measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, and marked off the sky with his span, and calculated the dust of the earth in a measure, and weighed the mountains in scales, and the hills in a balance?
40:13 Who has directed the Spirit of Yahweh, or has taught him as his counselor?
40:14 Who did he take counsel with, and who instructed him, and taught him in the path of justice, and taught him knowledge, and showed him the way of understanding?
40:15 Behold, the nations are like a drop in a bucket, and are regarded as a speck of dust on a balance. Behold, he lifts up the islands like a very little thing.
40:16 Lebanon is not sufficient to burn, nor its animals sufficient for a burnt offering.
40:17 All the nations are like nothing before him. They are regarded by him as less than nothing, and vanity.
40:18 To whom then will you liken God? Or what likeness will you compare to him?
40:19 A workman has cast an image, and the goldsmith overlays it with gold, and casts silver chains for it.
40:20 He who is too impoverished for such an offering chooses a tree that will not rot. He seeks a skillful workman to set up an engraved image for him that will not be moved.
40:21 Haven't you known? Haven't you heard, yet? Haven't you been told from the beginning? Haven't you understood from the foundations of the earth?
40:22 It is he who sits above the circle of the earth, and its inhabitants are like grasshoppers; who stretches out the heavens like a curtain, and spreads them out like a tent to dwell in;
40:23 who brings princes to nothing; who makes the judges of the earth like meaningless.
40:24 They are planted scarcely. They are sown scarcely. Their stock has scarcely taken root in the ground. He merely blows on them, and they wither, and the whirlwind takes them away as stubble.
40:25 "To whom then will you liken me? Who is my equal?" says the Holy One.
40:26 Lift up your eyes on high, and see who has created these, who brings out their army by number. He calls them all by name. by the greatness of his might, and because he is strong in power, Not one is lacking.
40:27 Why do you say, Jacob, and speak, Israel, "My way is hidden from Yahweh, and the justice due me is disregarded by my God?"
40:28 Haven't you known? Haven't you heard? The everlasting God, Yahweh, The Creator of the ends of the earth, doesn't faint. He isn't weary. His understanding is unsearchable.
40:29 He gives power to the weak. He increases the strength of him who has no might.
40:30 Even the youths faint and get weary, and the young men utterly fall;
40:31 But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint.

2Pet.3:5 For this they willfully forget, that there were heavens from of old, and an earth formed out of water and amid water, by the word of God;
3:6 by which means the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished.
3:7 But the heavens that now are, and the earth, by the same word have been stored up for fire, being reserved against the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men.
3:8 But don't forget this one thing, beloved, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
3:9 The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will be dissolved with fervent heat, and the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.
3:11 Therefore since all these things will be destroyed like this, what kind of people ought you to be in holy living and godliness,
3:12 looking for and earnestly desiring the coming of the day of God, which will cause the burning heavens to be dissolved, and the elements will melt with fervent heat?
3:13 But, according to his promise, we look for new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness dwells.
3:14 Therefore, beloved, seeing that you look for these things, be diligent to be found in peace, without blemish and blameless in his sight.
3:15 Regard the patience of our Lord as salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also, according to the wisdom given to him, wrote to you;
3:16 as also in all of his letters, speaking in them of these things. In those, there are some things that are hard to understand, which the ignorant and unsettled twist, as they also do to the other Scriptures, to their own destruction.
3:17 You therefore, beloved, knowing these things beforehand, beware, lest being carried away with the error of the wicked, you fall from your own steadfastness.
3:18 But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and forever. Amen.
