Thirty Pieces of Silver!

So 30 pieces are about 5 weeks money (based on a 6 day working week.) In terms of purchasing power, each silver piece was probably worth about $20. The standards of living being much, much lower than in modern (Western) societies. So the thirty pieces are worth about $600.

What is value? Value is the amount a thing is worth to us and others, sometime it can be priceless, but not even practical. Other times it can be very practical an necessity of life and be very cheap! Everything in our world has a value placed on it, that is, pets, human's, trees, land, property, education, friendship, family, and so on . . .

John 7:24 Don't judge according to appearance, but judge righteous judgment."

Ultimately, our value is our worth, our worth to someone else as shocking as that is, even in a Christian's nations, where countries boast they are Christian's. Sadly we find the price of some human life is very valueless, old people, people whom are not part of society social standards, and those that aren't important, like unborn children.

1.
John 8:15 You judge according to the flesh. I judge no one.

Yes, each day thousand's of people die, and no one cares its part of life, but let an important person die and everyone feels a lost, why? It is simply because their life is of more value than the average person on the street. You see, its not fair, but it is the truth of this life and rather we like it or not its is practice daily. People always assume a higher role in life, thus, when people in the top die they feel greater love and lost for them, sad isn't it?

Proverbs 14:20 The poor person is shunned even by his own neighbor, but the rich person has many friends.

Proverbs 19:4 Wealth adds many friends, but the poor is separated from his friend.

A person can work hard all their life, they are not a thief, or dishonest, they always pay their way, give to other, they are not a burden on society or to their children, they don't brother their neighbor's they live a simple quiet life. But how much value do they have compared to a famous person a movie star, a sport hero, a politician, a famous minister?

1Thess.4:11 and that you make it your ambition to lead a quiet life, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, even as we instructed you;

Proverbs 19:7 All the relatives of the poor shun him: how much more do his friends avoid him! He pursues them with pleas, but they are gone.

Proverbs 28:6 Better is the poor who walks in his integrity, than he who is perverse in his ways, and he is rich.

2.

Well, the answer is very simple, would we like to know our worth? Here's the test! What if you stop giving people what they wanted would they come see you? Lets be honest? Would they call us, or do they think of us only when they want something?

What do we give up to have others friendships, to make ourselves worth something to them?

Proverbs 28:11 The rich man is wise in his own eyes; but the poor who has understanding sees through him.

Proverbs 30:14 There is a generation whose teeth are like swords, and their jaws like knives, to devour the poor from the earth, and the needy from among men.

Many choose to be confused over this truth because they simply can't imagine they are not that important to other that their worth is only what the have, and/or can give, not necessarily who they are in heart, mind, and soul but what they can give us, big difference is it not?

Ecclesiastes 5:8 If you see the oppression of the poor, and the violent taking away of justice and righteousness in a district, don't marvel at the matter: for one official is eyed by a higher one; and there are officials over them.

The Fine Pearl

Matthew 13:46 who having found one pearl of great price, he went and sold all that he had, and bought it.

Here is the problem when we live a life based up human values, what society places upon something? Value is set by market price and/or what societies values are at the time something is worth.

3.
What is the mood of the country this year, this week, effects the value of everything. If a movie comes out and it creates a new fade, then people will talk, walk, dress, drive a certain vehicle based on the an unreality of movie. Value is driven by the heard mentality, what the masses are doing so we can be part of the fade. Hence, value is based upon popularity, not morals.

2 Corinthians 8:9 For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that you through his poverty might become rich.

However, our relationship with God should be our most precious thing (value based upon morality) in our lives, but is it? The big difference between God, and us is that human's just haven't gotten? God cannot be devalued, its impossible to make God do, or think anything by humans wants and needs. He does not change because human fall into depravity. It is us that changes thinking what is evil has now become popular because of the masses. That is, acceptable to man, hence then God, right!

Psalms 102:26 They will perish, but you will endure. Yes, all of them will wear out like a garment. You will change them like a cloak, and they will be changed.

Malachi 3:6 "For I, Yahweh, don't change; therefore you, sons of Jacob, are not consumed.

Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

God does not change, and if we think he does we are fooled by our own desires driven by every whim of society latest thinking. God does not let mankind place a value upon him, if they do they are found in death, having no value placed upon them by God.

4.

Everything on earth is driven by our own desires good or bad, we judge all matters of this life by what desired we have or wish to have. Conversely, that is why society place no value on human life not unless it gains something in value or to be given glory for oneself.

James 3:10 Out of the same mouth comes forth blessing and cursing. My brothers, these things ought not to be so.

1 Peter 4:4 They think it is strange that you don't run with them into the same excess of riot, blaspheming:

God does just the opposite he test us to see what value we are, he judges us on how we treat the least one of his brothers in Christ. God is not interest in what comes out of our mouth which defiles the truth of our hearts. God knows the truth of us before we every sell someone a bill of goods on how perfect we are in our motives.

John 6:6 This he said to test him, for he himself knew what he would do.

1 Corinthians 3:13 each man's work will be revealed. For the Day will declare it, because it is revealed in fire; and the fire itself will test what sort of work each man's work is.

That is, in, and of itself, telling us that our value actually depends upon us, what we are at our core? When we see an inconsistency in our own motives and actions do we cover it up, or do we correct it knowing that such partiality is repugnant to God?

2 Corinthians 13:5 Test your own selves, whether you are in the faith. Test your own selves. Or don't you know as to your own selves, that Jesus Christ is in you?--unless indeed you are disqualified.

5.

The unreality of God has become so great on earth today only the great are honor in the name of Christ, only those that do, and look a certain way are mourned at death, and honor in life. It is because Christianity is little more then making a show in ones flesh. What society believes Christ was on earth in the flesh, what he sounded like, and looked like. What humility looks like, talks like, dress like, and walks like.

2 Corinthians 3:3 being revealed that you are a letter of Christ, served by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tablets of stone, but in tablets that are hearts of flesh.

2 Corinthians 5:16 Therefore we know no one after the flesh from now on. Even though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now we know him so no more.

Christianity has become a movie with movie stars, that Christian's boast and give praise to. But Christ was murdered by society not honored by it, his disciple were also murder by society, not glorified by it.

The deification and glorification of Christ in the flesh and his apostles did not happen until the world was full of false religion having the values of the world where they honor only those things that are of importance to the world in appearance.

Romans 1:23 and traded the glory of the incorruptible God for the likeness of an image of corruptible man, and of birds, and four-footed animals, and creeping things.

Acts 8:33 In his humiliation, his judgment was taken away. Who will declare His generation? For his life is taken from the earth."{Isaiah 53:7,8}

6.

Acts 8:32 Now the passage of the Scripture which he was reading was this, "He was led as a sheep to the slaughter. As a lamb before his shearer is silent, so he doesn't open his mouth.

The Testing of God

One will learn very quickly that God does not listen to our flesh that is corrupted by sin found in our hearts and minds. God knows what we are, he is not guessing like we do thinking their something mysterious in us waiting to be revealed. God has never changed in the appraisal of human under the judgment of sin, and death. They are not a pretty picture, and that is why they devalue human life. They lie about the truth of their hearts and the truth of their action

Romans 8:8 Those who are in the flesh can't please God.

Rom.3:10 As it is written, "There is no one righteous; no, not one.
3:11 There is no one who understands. There is no one who seeks after God. 3:12 They have all turned aside. They have together become unprofitable. There is no one who does good, no, not, so much as one."{Psalms 14:1-3; 53:1-3; Ecclesiastes 7:20}
3:13 "Their throat is an open tomb. With their tongues they have used deceit."{Psalm 5:9} "The poison of vipers is under their lips;"{Psalm 140:3} 3:14 "Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness."{Psalm 10:7} 3:15 "Their feet are swift to shed blood.
3:16 Destruction and misery are in their ways. 3:17 The way of peace, they haven't known."{Isaiah 59:7-8}

You, see all the talk by Christian's and the world is empty words when the goodness of mankind is lost when seeing the fruit of their actions which show they value not individual life at all, but only the great among them. They are not ashamed of people living in places that mistreat older people, they do not visit them unless some church makes it part of their ministry.

7.
Matt.6:1 "Be careful that you don't do your charitable giving before men, to be seen by them, or else you have no reward from your Father who is in heaven. 6:2 Therefore when you do merciful deeds, don't sound a trumpet before yourself, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may get glory from men. Most certainly I tell you, they have received their reward.
6:3 But when you do merciful deeds, don't let your left hand know what your right hand does, 6:4 so that your merciful deeds may be in secret, then your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.

They are not ashamed of living in opulent luxury why billions starve to death without food and water.

It not in their hearts to check upon the elderly, the poor, or sick, nor persons that have lived a good and honest life not an unless that person checking can get some glory in their church services and/or in monetary value. Would they minister to the poor if they got no glory from someone for their good work? What if no one could see their good works on earth would they do them?

Jeremiah 10:23 Yahweh, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man who walks to direct his steps.

Let is be noted it is only in suffering that we see injustice, but if we can't see our own injustice we never know the truth of where real injustice starts in us the human condition? All of us are injustice, all of us lack love, all of us show partiality, all of us mourn the great while not giving honor or to the poor. We may chose to believe we are all unique as snowflakes, but none of us can direct our lives, let alone think we are righteous as fellowman dies while we eat.

Romans 3:10 As it is written, "There is no one righteous; no, not one.

8.

1 John 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

But the truth is God allows us to be tested when we uses his name as a blanket to cover up the evil in our own hearts. There is nothing that draws up anger in us more then the evil in others in their eye, but why is that?

Luke 11:34 The lamp of the body is the eye. Therefore when your eye is good, your whole body is also full of light; but when it is evil, your body also is full of darkness.

It is because we are not seeking truthful about ourselves, we can't stand the evil in others because frankly we think we don't have the same evil in us, we are better, our motives are pure, which motives is our redemption before God.

Proverbs 20:9 Who can say, "I have made my heart pure. I am clean and without sin?"

Strangely Christian's are a lot like reformed smokers, who were rude inconsiderate while they smoked but now are self-righteous not understanding how some else can be addicted because they have over came the problem and everyone else is making excuse like they did, and they just hate the person for lying to themselves, correct? So because they are living a lie and making excuse instead of being tough on themselves I am justified in my harsh judgment to wake them up.

1Cor. 13:1 If I speak with the languages of men and of angels, but don't have love, I have become sounding brass, or a clanging cymbal.

Matt.7:1 "Don't judge, so that you won't be judged.
7:2 For with whatever judgment you judge, you will be judged;

9.
and with whatever measure you measure, it will be measured to you. 7:3 Why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but don't consider the beam that is in your own eye?
7:4 Or how will you tell your brother, 'Let me remove the speck from your eye;' and behold, the beam is in your own eye?

Yes, that is why Christian's preach so much about changing oneself into a better person a Christian's like they themselves are, better! They don't believe anyone can change without constant hammering by them as if people are stupid and with out being reminded like a little child no one would make the right choices. Never noting that millions of people stop smoking that aren't Christian's at all?

Christianity is a world that examine the evils in others not realizing they themselves are be tested and exposed for their own evil that by their judgments, what in their own hearts covered up by their pure motives. They are receiving the same measure back as plagues, hammering themselves to death until they become blinded puppets repeating meaningless words.

1Cor.10:5 However with most of them, God was not well pleased, for they were overthrown in the wilderness.
10:6 Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted.

Zeal for righteousness is what killed Christ, (words said but not thought about, and acted upon not applied to oneself) and all of God's prophets and the children of God. Yes, a zeal to wipe out the evil in another eye, while overlooking the beam in their own eye.

Rom.10:2 For I testify about them that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge. 10:3 For being ignorant of God's righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, they didn't subject themselves to the righteousness of God.

10.

Stumbling of The Righteous

Proverbs 4:19 The way of the wicked is like darkness. They don't know what they stumble over.

God is not saving people that aren't his, he is not making people serve him, that is, like making a person stop smoking so one can feel good about themselves (superior), which is, smoking makes me uncomfortable, so “I want you to stop!”

James. 1:19 So, then, my beloved brothers, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger; 1:20 for the anger of man doesn't produce the righteousness of God.

God is doing a whiten work among his people those that belong to him, how does he do a whiting work cleaning up the evils of sin in our flesh thinking? That is, think we believe and teaches is from God when it is from sin, having nothing to do with God?

He lets his righteous stumble in the eyes of those with evil in their hearts evil of sin covered up by their own judgments of good and evil, blinding them to truth, God is not partial, do we understand this simple truth of God?

Rom.2:1 Therefore you are without excuse, O man, whoever you are who judge. For in that which you judge another, you condemn yourself. For you who judge practice the same things.

Daniel.11:35 Some of those who are wise shall fall, to refine them, and to purify, and to make them white, even to the time of the end; because it is yet for the time appointed.

No one can correct a person that doesn't think they need it or are above correction.
11.
Ultimately, they are judging themselves good or bad in their standing with God, sadly, mistaken that is not their job. But they are completely blinded to the truth. They hear it time and again but they don't hear it in reality. (Christ is our reality, not our flesh, or us, we are in him, the truth!)

Acts 28:27 For this people's heart has grown callous. Their ears are dull of hearing. Their eyes they have closed. Lest they should see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their heart, and would turn again, and I would heal them.'{Isaiah 6:9-10}

You see, God tells us the truth of our condition, that is, in our flesh, he tells us there is nothing good that dwells in our flesh, not just the apostles Paul's flesh, but all of us in the flesh. Do you think we actually believe that, lets be honest? If we did, would we judge others?

1Cor.11:27 Therefore whoever eats this bread or drinks the Lord's cup in a manner unworthy of the Lord will be guilty of the body and the blood of the Lord. 11:28 But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of the bread, and drink of the cup. 11:29 For he who eats and drinks in an unworthy manner eats and drinks judgment to himself, if he doesn't discern the Lord's body. 11:30 For this cause many among you are weak and sickly, and not a few sleep. 11:31 For if we discerned ourselves, we wouldn't be judged.
11:32 But when we are judged, we are punished by the Lord, that we may not be condemned with the world.

If we knew our flesh affects our desires, and our desires affect our judgments why would we hate the sin in our brothers or sister eyes so much that we would wipe them off the earth like Cain did Abel. It is because we don't see the truth of ourselves, we see the truth of others, their motives, but we have made ourselves exempt from the same judgment of God by our motives, or some feeling and/or good work we imagine we are doing or have done for God and others.
12.
But judgment begets judgment no mater our motives!

James 4:12 Only one is the lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy. But who are you to judge another?

James 5:9 Don't grumble, brothers, against one another, so that you won't be judged. Behold, the judge stands at the door.

Hence, when someone we are judging we are hiding our real motives stumbles in a action we think it proves us right, but it draws up our real motives into God's perfect truth, Christ. Who is worthy in their pure motive in Christ righteousness unless we have been give unmerited kindness, undeserved kindness by God's forgiveness. Thus, we judge but we are being measure not against the person we judge, but against Christ, for we belong not to ourselves but Christ. Hence, our true hearts motives is first exposed to us, the hate we have been hiding the whole time!

Proverbs 9:8 Don't reprove a scoffer, lest he hate you. Reprove a wise man, and he will love you.

Proverbs 29:10 The bloodthirsty hate a man of integrity; and they seek the life of the upright.

Why have they killed the person by their judgment if they were so pure in motives? Why have they exacted perfection in speech, when they want mercy in are own speech? Why would we demand perfection in someones thinking and actions if they weren't self-righteous in our personal judgments of right and wrong? God tested their hearts, he examines the truth of us, by putting us to the test when the righteous one stumbles.

Matt.3:2 For in many things we all stumble. If anyone doesn't stumble in word, the same is a perfect man, able to bridle the whole body also.
13.
Matt.7:3 Why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but don't consider the beam that is in your own eye?

The difference is the ones loving the truth more than themselves are refined by the fall, they first apply the measure to themselves stop their unrighteous judgment of their brother, letting the refined of fire come upon them first, hence, they become more pure as gold, and those that are not they are discarded as dross an evil dross not of Christ. Those is Christ are forewarned that they would be put to the test, for them to remember Israel of old in the wilderness that times and season do effect God's children as they are test on this earth by Christ the rock-mass directing their lives, a live belong to God in Christ, Christ as their head directs them through the wilderness.

1Cor. 10:1 Now I would not have you ignorant, brothers, that our fathers were all under the cloud, and all passed through the sea;
10:2 and were all baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea;
10:3 and all ate the same spiritual food;
10:4 and all drank the same spiritual drink. For they drank of a spiritual rock that followed them, and the rock was Christ.

Psalms 37:24 Though he stumble, he shall not fall, for Yahweh holds him up with his hand.

Christ the righteous one stumbled according to the selfish evil flesh judgment of him by the wicked. Christ made it clear to all listening to him that they were testing him, judging him, while not looking at themselves. He let them know they would hate him and kill him because of this same judgment they were judging a perfect righteous man while themselves having no good thing in their flesh. They need mercy not judgment.

14.

James.1:22 But be doers of the word, and not only hearers, deluding your own selves. 1:23 For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man looking at his natural face in a mirror; 1:24 for he sees himself, and goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. 1:25 But he who looks into the perfect law of freedom, and continues, not being a hearer who forgets, but a doer of the work, this man will be blessed in what he does. 1:26 If anyone among you thinks himself to be religious while he doesn't bridle his tongue, but deceives his heart, this man's religion is worthless.

1Tim.1:9 as knowing this, that law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and insubordinate, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, 1:10 for the sexually immoral, for homosexuals, for slave-traders, for liars, for perjurers, and for any other thing contrary to the sound doctrine;

But they want judgment of Christ and mercy from God to opposed ideas that can't work with God. Judas was the first to openly deny Christ by his own selfish ambitious, money! Judas boast in his good motive towards Christ and he poor, but his evaluation meant nothing , he was to come to the light, not himself and judge what he thought was good and evil about himself.

Yes, money was his god, and they idea that Christ would become great physical messiah and make Judas great with him on earth caused him to hear only what he wanted to hear. But once Judas actually heard what Christ had been saying all along he became enraged at the weakness of Christ, and Christ value plummeted in the eyes of Judas.

15.

Judas was not seeking truth of God in Christ Judas was seeking what he desired, and when test by fire the truth of his evil became known publicly! That is, a humiliation he could not get under, so he killed himself. Now think how kindly and light Christ yoke would have been if Judas had just came to the light of Christ?

John 13:29 For some thought, because Judas had the money box, that Jesus said to him, "Buy what things we need for the feast," or that he should give something to the poor.

The glory, the gain, wasn't happening by being Christ follower like he had imagine. In other words, Christ never lied he spoke the truth time and again, but Judas was twisting it into his own wants and needs thinking he was better for some reason and when Christ so called stumble in Judas judgment of him, his true colors came out. The colors he could have known and corrected long before he sold Christ for 30-pieces of silver.

John 14:22 Judas (not Iscariot) said to him, "Lord, what has happened that you are about to reveal yourself to us, and not to the world?"

John 3:19 This is the judgment, that the light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the light; for their works were evil.

John 3:20 For everyone who does evil hates the light, and doesn't come to the light, lest his works would be exposed.

John 3:21 But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his works may be revealed, that they have been done in God."

Judas spent a lot of time judging Christ motives, he didn't tell him that not realizing Christ knew it long before Judas opened his mouth or not.
16.
Was Judas righteous, would he love the truth more then himself? Would he be cut to the heart knowing that he was condemned by his own heart and evil reasoning. What he failed see and hear was it was him being tested not the other way around.

1 Corinthians 10:9 Neither let us test the Lord, as some of them tested, and perished by the serpents.

He had done what the fallen flesh always does it assume someone else life as it own. That is why a movie can cause millions of people to assume another whole life style not their own. Yes, Judas thought he was the anointed, the righteous one of God testing Christ.

Satan did the same, and that has been the case each, and every time throughout the history of our bibles. Those that have a faulty link between who they actually are before God and those that do. The unrighteous will always assumed the greater role, while the righteous will not!

Luke.18:9 He spoke also this parable to certain people who were convinced of their own righteousness, and who despised all others.
18:10 "Two men went up into the temple to pray; one was a Pharisee, and the other was a tax collector. 18:11 The Pharisee stood and prayed to himself like this: 'God, I thank you, that I am not like the rest of men, extortioners, unrighteous, adulterers, or even like this tax collector. 18:12 I fast twice a week. I give tithes of all that I get.' 18:13 But the tax collector, standing far away, wouldn't even lift up his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, 'God, be merciful to me, a sinner!' 18:14 I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but he who humbles himself will be exalted."

17.

That is why Christ called them thieves that is why men honor and seat themselves in the best position at important events, it is why they judge others while practicing the same-thing and it is why they don't know or care who the least of Christ brothers are on earth.

James 2:5 Listen, my beloved brothers. Didn't God choose those who are poor in this world to be rich in faith, and heirs of the Kingdom which he promised to those who love him?

James 2:6 But you have dishonored the poor man. Don't the rich oppress you, and personally drag you before the courts?

2 Corinthians 8:9 For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that you through his poverty might become rich.

Yes, and when one seats themselves in the judgment seat of Christ when correction comes it is the biggest insult in their lives whole life, who can correct them? None, not even God. Suddenly the judgment is upon them, they are forced to see the evil hidden in their hearts, but if they are blinded they won't see or hear the reproof coming from God, They will account it as coming only from man. No matter everyone else will clearly see their evil conduct and motives written on their very face which they can no longer hid by their fleshly innocent personality.

1 John 3:12 unlike Cain, who was of the evil one, and killed his brother. Why did he kill him? Because his works were evil, and his brother's righteous.

Is correction beneath us? Well, it wasn't below Christ while on earth from his Father YHWH. How much do we value the correction of God, over our spirit lives? So what seems to be so, is never really so, it is but illusion made up by our fallen flesh. God disciplines all

18.
those he loves, and if we are without it, from God, then the righteous one will stumble and we will be exposed as if by fire!

1 Peter 1:7 that the proof of your faith, which is more precious than gold that perishes even though it is tested by fire, may be found to result in praise, glory, and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ--

Let is be noted, God's discipline will expose our haughtiness it will come from people we have no respect for, it will come suddenly and knock us down, it will cause great anger and pride because coming from man whom we consider ourselves better than telling us the truth of our heart, is better far more an effect reproof from God that we can deny, and do deny. It tells us the secret person of our own heart. Do we love God's disciple what extreme measure he goes through to save us? Have we been bitten by a copper serpent, because we look as the speck in our brothers eye?

Sooner or later we have to look up, and see who is actually correcting us!

James.4:1 Where do wars and fightings among you come from? Don't they come from your pleasures that war in your members?
4:2 You lust, and don't have. You kill, covet, and can't obtain. You fight and make war. You don't have, because you don't ask.
4:3 You ask, and don't receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it for your pleasures.
4:4 You adulterers and adulteresses, don't you know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.
4:5 Or do you think that the Scripture says in vain, "The Spirit who lives in us yearns jealously"?
4:6 But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, "God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble."{Proverbs 3:34}
4:7 Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
19.
4:8 Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
4:9 Lament, mourn, and weep. Let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to gloom.
4:10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he will exalt you.

Numbers 21:8 Yahweh said to Moses, Make you a fiery serpent, and set it on a standard: and it shall happen, that everyone who is bitten, when he sees it, shall live.

Numbers 21:9 Moses made a serpent of brass, and set it on the standard: and it happened, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he looked to the serpent of brass, he lived.

John 3:14 As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up,
