The Law is Good if it Used
Lawfully

1Tim.1:8 But we know that the law is good, if a man uses it
lawfully.

Why would the apostle Paul use the word “Lawfully” regarding God's
law? Was the law given to Moses through God's finger unlawful?
That is, against God's righteousness. i.e., lawlessness? Why speak of
lawfulness, and unlawful when speaking of a good, and righteous law
given by God to Moses to his people Israel?

Understanding Foundation Truth's of Law

Speaking about foundational truths of God's word the bible is very
offensive to some Christian's simply because they think they know
the truth of God word, and his law. Subsequently, when Paul uses
the term the law that is good, if its used lawfully, most Christian's
conclude the law of Moses, which is referred to, in all bibles as the
“Law” can be lawfully used by Christian's to reprove, and discipline
other Christian's in Christ by the old law, i.e., the old covenant,
which Israel was under. But is this accurate or even acceptable to
God? Moreover, is this a truth found in Christ?

Rom.2:19 and are confident that you yourself are a guide of the
blind, a light to those who are in darkness, 2:20 a corrector of the
foolish, a teacher of babies, having in the law the form of knowledge
and of the truth.
1.
1 Timothy 1:7 desiring to be teachers of the
law, though they understand neither what they say, nor about what
they strongly affirm.

Galatians 5:18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the
law.

Do we as Christian's really understand law? Now lets clarify this
point, have we been educated in law, or rather do we assume what
we have been taught about law from a religion is the truth? For
example, all families have laws which govern family life, but are
those laws Governmental laws that the State enforces upon their
citizen, or are they the old law of God, or even the law of Christ?
No they are not! They may be good laws, and helpful laws, but the
government function on laws which it legislates for its citizen of
their country. If a family member breaks a governmental law the
State will take power away from the family personal laws, and it will
administer a conviction by its own laws, and a sentence to the
family member by its laws.

Would the families laws than be lawful
having the power to override the laws of the Government? No! If
the family law let the person off for breaking governmental law than
its not lawful. In fact, members of the family could be guilty of
breaking the law by not reporting it to the authorities.
Subsequently, the families laws cannot be used lawfully in the
States conviction of a family member, it has no power or authority
over the States laws. The family law is only lawful for it own family
members.

Most personal family law (Not State Family Laws) are based upon love for the family, and it holds much emotional feelings for members of the family.

2.
Thus, it rules can be adjusted as the need may be for different family members according to their mental, emotional, and age needs. It is not cold case law, without emotions, and feelings for family members unlike State Law, and/or Governmental Law

So what is the purpose of Governmental law?

It is for society prosperity, to protect person within that society from evil acts;

evil acts others perpetrated on its citizens, those act can include evil by government, business, religion and/or individuals.

1Tim.1 Timothy 1:9 as knowing this, that law is not made for a
righteous man, but for the lawless and insubordinate, for the
ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers.

Governmental laws are not based upon emotions they are based
upon establishing material facts of the law, which laws are legislated
without emotion so they may be applied justly to all in society. A
person race, power, wealth, or gender does not matter, the law must
be applied equally to all under its authority blindly without
prejudice of emotions.

This is confusing for some because of bad, or erroneous information handed down to them from parents, friends, media, entertainment, and so on. . .

Where the person believes their emotions are going to bring them justice under the law, and the court of law is going to consider their good feelings, and their reasoning for breaking the law because of their circumstances.

3.

However, they will be sadly disappointed with the legal system if
they believe such fantasy!

Structures Law Builds

All lasting structures have to be built by design so the weakness can
be strengthen. Subsequently, rules have to be followed, or the
structures is no good. A legal structures is the no different, it is not a justice system as many first think, and have been told, it is a legal
system, which can render justice only by its laws. The legal system
has been built to give each person entering into it a legally fair trial
by law, not necessarily justice.

In other words, the legal system is not going to add a window or a
room into existing laws so it can accommodate our feelings when
tried against the laws of the government, not a chance!

Each person accused of a crime against the State must be convicted
according to the rules of the law. Those same rules must be applied
in our case as they are to all those entering into the legal structures.
In other words, you have been accused of a criminal act by law, and
convicted by laws which are structure according to the State
legislated laws to convict you of a specific crime.

If you do not fit into that structure legally then a conviction would not be lawful, but unlawful and illegal, none of which is based upon our emotions. If we are accused of stealing, which is a violation of the States law a crime against the States and its laws. Our reason won't matter to the law, the law has no emotions in the matter we have broken the laws no matter what our reasons are or motives.

The State must convict us by law, it has no choice in the matter. The State must first uphold it own laws, or State becomes an outlaw or lawless.

4.
The law will either convict us, or it will release us from the crime of
stealing by rule of law. If the law becomes emotional taking each
person reasons into play it has become of no value to anyone, it is a
lawless system with no rule of law that can't be applied impartially,
equally, and blindly to all citizen (Know as equal protection of the law).

Once convicted the court of law can consider your history, and circumstance med-gating or aggravating the sentence according to the person history of crime.

This is why attorney's of law are not liked, they are looking to
defend the person by the law, fitting them into the structure of the
law, not their reasons for doing something. They are not defending
if the law is fair/justice in the person case. The justice for the
person is found in the law creation itself, when it was legislated, not
after the fact, when we are accused of a wrong doing. The law
removes emotions of its legislators, it is legal structure on paper, not
written into the hearts of men.

The judges cannot insert his/her prejudice into the law, for the law
cannot be changed by a judges emotions, what they must uphold is the law for the law to be lawfully according to the State legally
instituted laws.

The attorney's of law cannot go outside of the structure of the States
law, and chose another States laws, or it becomes unlawful, they
must defend their client within the structure of the law of the State
where the crime happened, which is their job, the law cannot
become personal, or the judge will be held accountable for not
convicting the person legally by the States laws.

God's Law Over Israel

5.
Was God's law over Israel lawful? Yes, it was, but how?

What made the law lawful?

Was it simply because it was given by God? Was it lawful because it was good? (emotions) Was it law because we love God's law?
What made the law lawful? Could we make the law lawful in our
hearts because we choose to obey it?

Hebrews 9:19 For when every commandment had been spoken by
Moses to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of the calves and the goats, with water and scarlet wool and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book itself and all the people.

The law was given by a covenant with God's people, a covenant is a
contract with God. How did God validated that contract with his
people? How did God make the law, lawful, giving it the authority of
God over his people? It was by the “blood” of the covenant. Yes,
blood validated the covenant it sealed the contract with his people
by blood, which made the law legally enforceable upon Israel.
However, without the blood, the law was unlawful. How do we know
this?

Hebrews 9:22 According to the law, nearly everything is cleansed
with blood, and apart from shedding of blood there is no remission.

Because the law of God was not enforceable over people not of
Israel, it was only applicable/enforceable to God's people under the
old covenant validated by the blood of animals. If a Jew enforced
the law of God upon their neighboring nations not under the
covenant it was not lawful it was unlawful. However, if a person
from another nation came into Israel they must live by its laws, and would bring blood to the altar of God for them to be legally under the laws of God.
6.
Exodus 12:19 Seven days shall there be no yeast found in your
houses, for whoever eats that which is leavened, that soul shall be
cut off from the congregation of Israel, whether he be a foreigner, or
one who is born in the land.

Exodus 12:48 When a stranger shall live as a foreigner with you, and
will keep the Passover to Yahweh, let all his males be circumcised,
and then let him come near and keep it; and he shall be as one who
is born in the land: but no uncircumcised person shall eat of it.
Purpose of God's Law?

Here is where most Christian's fall short due to lack of knowledge
regarding laws, and God's law; believing they are validated under
the old covenant by the blood of Christ (the new covenant), which is a falsehood.

Subsequently, allowing themselves to enforce the law of Moses
validated by blood of animals over their brothers and sisters, but are
they, using the law lawfully?

Rom.7:1 Or don't you know, brothers{The word for "brothers" here
and where context allows may also be correctly translated "brothers
and sisters" or "siblings."} - - (for I speak to men who know the law), that the law has dominion over a man for as long as he lives? 7:2 For the woman that has a husband is bound by law to the husband while he lives, but if the husband dies, she is discharged from the law of the husband. 7:3 So then if, while the husband lives, she is joined to another man, she would be called an adulteress. But if the husband dies, she is free from the law, so that she is no adulteress, though she is joined to another man. 7:4

7.
Therefore, my brothers, you also were made dead to the law through the body of Christ, that you would be joined to another, to him who was raised from the dead, that we might bring forth fruit to God.

We have stated above why all nations must have laws, and what the
purpose of those laws are for; they are to protect us from evil, to
prosper those under their law to conduct business, health,
families can grow and prosper and live in peace with each other in
an orderly society.

What was God's Main Purpose in Giving the Law?

God's law did all these things as well, but that was not its the main
purpose of why God's law was given to Israel? God's law was given
to Israel to bring his people to faith, in God as their redeemer for
eternal life. To do that, God must show each person in Israel why
they needed his redemption, equally and impartially, no matter
what their personal emotions or feeling were of right and wrong, or
about his law. God would state by his law the requirement for
eternal life without sin and death under his Kingdom, and in his
Kingdom, through his perfect law to Israel.

Romans 7:12 Therefore the law indeed is holy, and the
commandment holy, and righteous, and good.

How did God do that? By giving a perfect law to an imperfect
people, so they would learn what is required of them by faith in
God's goodness, and love, to save them from the legal justice of the law as sinner in their fallen flesh fall far short of.

Romans 3:23 for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God;

8.
In other words, mankind feelings, or their love for life, or their love
of neighbor did not, not make them a non-sinner!

Those feelings like we all have had nothing to do with law or
meeting the laws perfect requirements. God's laws measured
perfection without sin, measuring by perfection against something
imperfect exposes the flaws in it, and in this case humans as sinners.

Romans 3:19 Now we know that whatever things the law says, it speaks to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be closed, and all the world may be brought under the judgment of God.

If you have a beautiful vase and its dropped, and breaks into piece it will never be a perfect vase again. We can glue it together enjoying some of its former beauty, but it will never be the same perfect work of art as it once was before it being dropped.

Now if you try to fool a person into buying the vase as perfect piece of art; doing so by our affections, by our emotions for the vase, all that we have to stand on would be our word, not truth of the vase imperfection.

We must convince the buyer that our emotion make the vase a perfect vase without flaws.

Proverbs 20:6 Many men claim to be men of unfailing love, but who
can find a faithful man?

Proverbs 30:6 Don't you add to his words, lest he reprove you, and
you be found a liar.

But if the buyer examines the vase, and all its flaws stand out we
will be proven a liar!

9.
Now if you continue down that course after the vase has been shown to have many flaws we have made ourselves into a hypocrite! The law exposed all of us as sinners, flawed under the examination of God perfect law.

1 John 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and
the truth is not in us.

Matt.7:1 "Don't judge, so that you won't be judged.
7:2 For with whatever judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with whatever measure you measure, it will be measured to you. 7:3 Why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but don't consider the beam that is in your own eye? 7:4 Or how will you tell your brother, 'Let me remove the speck from your eye;' and behold, the beam is in your own eye? 7:5 You hypocrite! First remove the beam out of your own eye, and then you can see clearly to remove the speck out of your brother's eye.

The law prospered the nation of Israel in business, health, morally,
and in power for war, but it was not a permanent law because it
could not fix the sin in us. Thus, it was not the law needed for
eternal life, because it exposes us as not being worthy of eternal life
proving we all are flawed as a broken vessel by Adam's sin.

How could the law created for the wicked fixes the damage done by sin?
A better law

What was needed, which would make us into a new vase without sin?

God was not repairing the old by using righteous law glue that exposed us to flaws. Nor should we delude ourselves imagining we can repair sin in us and others by using righteous laws found in God's word the bible
10.
that are created for the wicked, which cannot perfected nothing in sinners, let alone a sinless person!

Hebrews 7:19 (for the law made nothing perfect), and a bringing in
of a better hope, through which we draw near to God.

God's Law and Sin

Christian's loves God's law they rejoice in it, in its fairness, in its
righteousness, for if they could live under it without sin, it would
reward them with the gift of eternal life. Sin is the evil the law
exposes, the law was not created for people not flawed with sin,
why?

Because if a person has no sin, they have no evil in them, they
are not judged by a law for people having the flaw of sin that
creates evil!

Galatians 2:18 For if I build up again those things which I destroyed,
I prove myself a law-breaker.

Romans 5:13 For until the law, sin was in the world; but sin is not
charged when there is no law.

Did Christ Have The Power of Sin Over Him?

No he did not, thus, for the Jews to convict Christ of sin, by an illegal uses of God's righteous law created for only sinner was an truly evil act.

11.

What gives power to God's law can we answer that question? Let us read God's word together.

1 Corinthians 15:56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.

The power of the law is what, sin, did we not know that all sin is lawlessness, was Christ lawless, was he not under God's authority at all times, how could he be lawless.

1 John 3:4 Everyone who sins also commits lawlessness. Sin is lawlessness.

What law did Adam break? Did Adam become lawless to God? Yes, he did, so much so God stop his association with Adam, and Adam sin, his lawlessness, caused his own death. God did not subject Adam to laws for sinner upon his creation and placing him into the Garden of Eden. Adam was under the Royal law, the law of love, the law Christ instituted with his “body members” the temple of God on earth.

James 2:8 However, if you fulfill the royal law, according to the Scripture, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself,"{Leviticus 19:18} you do well.

Would God impute evil to Adam by applying laws for the unrighteous sinner to Adam before he sinned? Thus, Christ is the last Adam, born sinless, and never sinned or we could not be our redeemer, why? Simply because, there is no one righteous, no man or woman on earth that could redeem us, but Christ because he was sinless, the sinless lamb of God that takes our sins away!

Psalms 49:7 none of them can by any means redeem his brother, nor give God a ransom for him.

12.
Why then would we misjudge Christ by an unauthorized law created for sinners. Why would we impute evil, the law, to a sinless person? Did the law look for the good in us, or did it point up sin in us? What is the power of the law?

Power of the Law sin! Is sin not evil?

The entire book of Roman's is about the law vs Christ the superiority of Christ and the freedom we have gained in Christ by being born new into Christ having received his righteousness making us sinless. When Paul speaks in Roman's he is speak about the old law, and the law of Christ.

Romans 5:18 So then as through one trespass, all men were condemned; even so through one act of righteousness, all men were justified to life.

When we are told not to return evil for evil, but good for evil, do we think it speaking about good, and evil in general found in the world of mankind? No! It is speaking the truth of the entire book of Romans under Holy Spirit that we should not return the old law for sin, the evil in us, sin, for the Christ that only see good in us by the law of freedom, without sin for our sin are dead because our flesh is dead in Christ.

Did we get that point?

Being a teacher of the law, is a teacher of lawlessness, for the power of the law is sin. How can we make a righteous person into a lawless person by using a law that Christ completed for us? That was the raging injustice at the time of all the Greek Scriptures were written after the Holy Spirit was poured out upon the spiritual Israel, creating a new covenant validated with the blood of Christ.

Can Man's Lesser laws Convict a person by Laws abolished?
13.
They had murder Christ the righteous one by a law created for sinners, they signed the perfect judgment against themselves in doing so. One cannot bring accusation against God's chosen one of sin when Christ has no sin! The thought of using a law for sinner against Christ should be repugnant to a honest lover of God and truth.

Can the law be used lawfully today?

That thought written by Paul about using the law lawfully is the microcosm of fleshly legalist glory in to bring the evil of flesh into Christ. The flesh is not in Christ, and if we reject that teaching we are standing away from Christ as a real apostate of everything he came to do away with!

Romans 3:20 Because by the works of the law, no flesh will be justified in his sight. For through the law comes the knowledge of sin.

Romans 8:6 For the mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace;

Romans 8:7 because the mind of the flesh is hostile towards God; for it is not subject to God's law, neither indeed can it be.

Romans 8:8 Those who are in the flesh can't please God.

Romans 8:9 But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if it is so that the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if any man doesn't have the Spirit of Christ, he is not his.

The law cannot be applied to the body of Christ or we have to reject the whole of every teaching given after the Holy Spirit was pour out upon the congregation of God, proving what? That Christ had been put to death in his flesh, and raised into the spirit.
14.
We can no longer know Christ in his flesh if we are in Christ the Spirit being in God's image.

1 Peter 3:18 Because Christ also suffered for sins once, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring you to God; being put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit;

2 Corinthians 5:16 Therefore we know no one after the flesh from now on. Even though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now we know him so no more.

Such mucking up the word of God is an intentional means of trying to have something in our own flesh, not authorized in Christ by God under the new covenant.

Paul used the old law lawfully, he used it in one way, and one way only! He did not apply it to the body of Christ freed from the sins of the flesh, read the entire subject not stopping at one point as a legalist does, but read it all in context and one will clearly see whom and what he was talking about?

Galatians 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I that live, but Christ living in me. That life which I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself up for me.

1:4 neither to pay attention to myths and endless genealogies, which cause disputes, rather than God's stewardship, which is in faith--
1:5 but the goal of this command is love, out of a pure heart and a good conscience and unfeigned faith;
1:6 from which things some, having missed the mark, have turned aside to vain talking;
1:7 desiring to be teachers of the law, though they understand neither what they say, nor about what they strongly affirm.
1:8 But we know that the law is good, if a man uses it lawfully,
1:9 as knowing this, that law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and insubordinate, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers,
1Tim.1:10 for the sexually immoral, for homosexuals, for slave-traders, for liars, for perjurers, and for any other thing contrary to the sound doctrine;
1:11 according to the Good News of the glory of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust.
1:12 And I thank him who enabled me, Christ Jesus our Lord, because he counted me faithful, appointing me to service;
1:13 although I was before a blasphemer, a persecutor, and insolent. However, I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.
1:14 The grace of our Lord abounded exceedingly with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.
1:15 The saying is faithful and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.
1:16 However, for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first, Jesus Christ might display all his patience, for an example of those who were going to believe in him for eternal life.
1:17 Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, to God who alone is wise, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.

Paul uses it as a lawyer to dismantle all the false teaching from false brothers that were bring the old law of the fleshly sins into the freedom gain by Christ brothers.

Galatians 5:13 For you, brothers, were called for freedom. Only don't use your freedom for gain to the flesh, but through love be servants to one another.

Paul did not want them to become lawless by applying an illegal law upon the body of Christ. He used it law to bring to ruin the false teaching of those gaining power of brothers and sister by use of a law that was created for the wicked, and unrighteous.

Galatians 5:1 Stand firm therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and don't be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.

16.

That is a common legal practice used by all courts of law to examine and old contract or law to make sure it not being use in the blinding legal contract and/or instrument.

No one could pay off the old contract but Christ, if Christ did not pay it off he died in vain and we have no resurrection in Christ as his body members freed for death of sin. Do we want to uses the law lawfully then use it to uphold the truth of the new covenant, don't use it to enslave brothers and sister to sin once more.

Galatians 2:18 For if I build up again those things which I destroyed, I prove myself a law-breaker.

If you hate grace that there is no work you can do under law that gives you standing in your unrighteous flesh, to bad! Works are not in Christ in our flesh, the entire law stand on works done in the flesh to obey that law. If one thinks they can obey the law by some goodness and/or work towards it, they deny Christ.

Galatians 2:19 For I, through the law, died to the law, that I might live to God.

Galatians 2:21 I don't make void the grace of God. For if righteousness is through the law, then Christ died for nothing!"

If one thinks they have the legal right to use both they have seated themselves in the seat of Christ making themselves an evil slave that beats their brother with the evil of sins law to make oneself appear righteous as a judge of the flesh.

Galatians 3:2 I just want to learn this from you. Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by hearing of faith?

17.
Galatians 3:5 He therefore who supplies the Spirit to you, and works miracles among you, does he do it by the works of the law, or by hearing of faith?

Galatians 3:10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under a curse. For it is written, "Cursed is everyone who doesn't continue in all things that are written in the book of the law, to do them."{Deuteronomy 27:26}

1 Peter 3:21 This is a symbol of baptism, which now saves you--not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

They make themselves into an angel of righteousness in the flesh by lying about the real condition or their heart. Let those that have ears listen to what the Spirit says to the congregation of God.

Revelation 2:9 "I know your works, oppression, and your poverty (but you are rich), and the blasphemy of those who say they are Jews, and they are not, but are a synagogue of Satan.

Revelation 3:9 Behold, I give of the synagogue of Satan, of those who say they are Jews, and they are not, but lie. Behold, I will make them to come and worship before your feet, and to know that I have loved you.

Romans 3:9 What then? Are we better than they? No, in no way. For we previously warned both Jews and Greeks, that they are all under sin.

Romans 2:28 For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, neither is that circumcision which is outward in the flesh;
