The book of 1 John

Chapter 5

Love Never Fails

****John.5:1 Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God. Whoever loves the father also loves the child who is born of him.

Here the apostle John states what is so simply obvious that one would wonder what is the point? But are John's words so simple? Yes! That is, if we take them in context to the rest of the book of first John, which was a letter long before man got his hands on it and legalized it into chapters and verses.

The entire book express that those born of God are not known by the world, the world is any person not of Christ, in their flesh. Those of the world can't hear or know the things of the Spirit. Subsequently, neither can they hear or know what those anointed of God by His Spirit are doing or saying because neither did the they know Christ.

Romans 8:7 because the mind of the flesh is hostile towards God; for it is not subject to God's law, neither indeed can it be.

Romans 8:8 Those who are in the flesh can't please God

1 John 3:1 Behold, how great a love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! For this cause the world doesn't know us, because it didn't know him.

Now in that context what is simple for those born of God can and does become very deep for those in darkness for those serving the flesh and worshiping in the flesh. Christ Jesus was born of God, God birth Christ as his anointed on earth, he was born again from the flesh into God the Spirit and started his ministry at the age of 30-years.

John 1:32 John testified, saying, "I have seen the Spirit descending like a dove out of heaven, and it remained on him.

John 1:33 I didn't recognize him, but he who sent me to baptize in water, he said to me, 'On whomever you will see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he who baptizes in the Holy Spirit.'

What that birth did in Christ is what it does in every child of God, it first proves that God loves us, because we are birth into his love, for God is love, an in perfect love there is no sin, thus, it puts our judgment of our flesh outside of God whom is Spirit and truth. That believing is faith a faith given to us in a unshakable kingdom, it is a baptism of fire as well.

Ephesians 2:4 But God, being rich in mercy, for his great love with which he loved us.

Romans 8:37 No, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.

1 John 4:10 In this is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son as the atoning sacrifice{"atoning sacrifice" is from the Greek "hilasmos," an appeasing, propitiating, or the means of appeasement or propitiation--the sacrifice that turns away God's wrath because of our sin.} for our sins.

Thus, we are separated from this world to be apart of a new world, the world of God, we then are new, a new creation, one not of this world, a world that cannot know God like us, because they don't have the Holy Spirit that is a constant reprover, reminder, sanctification, and wisdom not of this world but from above, from God that comes down to all those born again in perfect light given by the free gift of God's love.

1Cor.1:30 But of him, you are in Christ Jesus, who was made to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption:

James.1:16 Don't be deceived, my beloved brothers.
1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow. 1:18 Of his own will he brought us forth by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of first fruits of his creatures.

1 John 1:5 This is the message which we have heard from him and announce to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.

Moreover, the love of God gives us a new birth, which makes us part of Christ own life, as he body members. That statement should be self-evident that body members are all under the same love of the body, a body that is cherish, treasured by Christ Jesus himself, there can be no division in Christ, that is, no lack of love which cause division, so yes in the gift of God's love we love each other.

Eph. 5:23 For the husband is the head of the wife, and Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body.
5:24 But as the assembly is subject to Christ, so let the wives also be to their own husbands in everything. 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it; 5:26 that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word, 5:27 that he might present the assembly to himself gloriously, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

However, bring in division into the body and calling it of Christ is simply proving the person is not of Christ because they are of the flesh, and flesh and blood is not birthed into Christ but rather it should be put to death.

Herein is the truth John spoke about in his entire letter, he was not concerned as the flesh is warring constantly trying make gains in the flesh as all the world does in darkness that the body of Christ could ever be stolen or taken from God, let alone Christ.

Rom. 8:38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, 8:39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

1Cor. 13:7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 13:8 Love never fails.

The love of God is the body of Christ birthed and created by him as part of himself, just as we are part of Christ.

John.17:23 I in them, and you in me, that they may be perfected into one; that the world may know that you sent me, and loved them, even as you loved me.

One or Many Commandment(s)

****1John.5:2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep his commandments. 5:3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments. His commandments are not grievous.

Here the reader of First John is faced with the ultimate question?
Will they go back under the Old Law Covenant, and/or stay in Christ under the New Covenant of love?

Rom. 0:2 For I testify about them that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge. 10:3 For being ignorant of God's righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, they didn't subject themselves to the righteousness of God. 10:4 For Christ is the fulfillment{or, completion, or end} of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.

When one reads the words commandment(s) the first and always the fleshly mind start listing a number of commandment(s) taught from Christ words on earth which is, in, and of itself fraught with many wrong false interpretations, but why?

Romans 8:6 For the mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace;

Romans 8:7 because the mind of the flesh is hostile towards God; for it is not subject to God's law, neither indeed can it be.

Romans 8:8 Those who are in the flesh can't please God.

Simply because Christ taught under the Old Law to fulfill it, by the love of God. In other words, much of what Christ was teaching while on earth was under the Old Law, but once resurrected (made alive in Spirit); the promised Holy Spirit was poured out, proof positive that the Old Law Covenant was completed set aside once and for all times by the precious blood of Christ instituting an everlasting covenant not by written word, but in Spirit and truth in the endless life of Christ Jesus.

2Cor. 3:4 Such confidence we have through Christ toward God;
3:5 not that we are sufficient of ourselves, to account anything as from ourselves; but our sufficiency is from God;
3:6 who also made us sufficient as servants of a new covenant; not of the letter, but of the Spirit. For the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life. 3:7 But if the service of death, written engraved on stones, came with glory, so that the children of Israel could not look steadfastly on the face of Moses for the glory of his face; which was passing away: 3:8 won't service of the Spirit be with much more glory? 3:9 For if the service of condemnation has glory, the service of righteousness exceeds much more in glory.

Thus, if one thinks in fleshly terms that would be the law governing the sins of our flesh, (the old law) by believing that anyone but Christ could obey (the old law in his flesh); completing the law they will find themselves in a very confused conflicting worship of God with some old and some new that defiles both covenants.

1 Corinthians 5:7 Purge out the old yeast, that you may be a new lump, even as you are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, has been sacrificed in our place.

Rom. 7:1 Or don't you know, brothers{The word for "brothers" here and where context allows may also be correctly translated "brothers and sisters" or "siblings."} (for I speak to men who know the law), that the law has dominion over a man for as long as he lives?
7:2 For the woman that has a husband is bound by law to the husband while he lives, but if the husband dies, she is discharged from the law of the husband. 7:3 So then if, while the husband lives, she is joined to another man, she would be called an adulteress. But if the husband dies, she is free from the law, so that she is no adulteress, though she is joined to another man.
7:4 Therefore, my brothers, you also were made dead to the law through the body of Christ, that you would be joined to another, to him who was raised from the dead, that we might bring forth fruit to God.

Under the old covenant there were many commandments to follow, but under the new covenant, that is, lets make this very clear, the new covenant is for those “in” the living life of Christ, as his body members which are no longer alive in the flesh to God or Christ, the bible is very pointed on this subject, that is, found in the Greek Scriptures those specific written after the Holy Spirit was poured out there was only one commandments, but why?

Rom.13:8 Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law.
13:9 For the commandments, "You shall not commit adultery," "You shall not murder," "You shall not steal," "You shall not give false testimony," "You shall not covet,"{TR adds "You shall not give false testimony,"}{Exodus 20:13-15,17; Deuteronomy 5:17-19,21} and whatever other commandments there are, are all summed up in this saying, namely, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself."{Leviticus 19:18} 13:10 Love doesn't harm a neighbor. Love therefore is the fulfillment of the law.

It was because the law of God, the law of the new covenant for those in Christ had only one law, the law of love, not many commandmen(s) like the old did. Hence, without love one was not “in” Christ, or did they know God.

Thus, one cannot be obedient by commandment(s) the very point of the Old Law, the Old Covenant, which took animal blood to be made right, and/or righteous before God for all sin and fall short of God's glory.

1 John 4:8 He who doesn't love doesn't know God, for God is love.

1 John 4:9 By this God's love was revealed in us, that God has sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.

Subsequently, that meant that there was no one righteous not one man born from Adam that could keep the commandments of the old law covenant. Lets make this clear as well, that once a person is a sinner, that is, born into sin they could never keep the old law, the old covenant. Once a sinner under the old coveant always a sinnner. The old law of Moses, that is, the old covenant did not removes sin from sinners, it pointed them out and convicted them of sin.

Hebrews 10:1 For the law, having a shadow of the good to come, not the very image of the things, can never with the same sacrifices year by year, which they offer continually, make perfect those who draw near.

Hebrews 7:19 (for the law made nothing perfect), and a bringing in of a better hope, through which we draw near to God.

However, not true in Christ who's life is the superior covenant of love, why? Simply put, which is hid by religion, those in Christ have no sin, why? Becuase they are created new in a sustitude life given too them by God, that is, Christ life that did not sin, and now can never sin because he was made incorruptible by his Fahter YHWH.

Hebrews 10:1 For the law, having a shadow of the good to come, not the very image of the things, can never with the same sacrifices year by year, which they offer continually, make perfect those who draw near.
Hebrews 9:11 But Christ having come as a high priest of the coming good things, through the greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this creation.

So lets set the record straight if we do not approach the book of First John under the new covenant in Christ we are mislead and will find ourselves in a works of law, being condemned and condemning others to what Christ died for and delivered us out of.

James.2:7 Don't they blaspheme the honorable name by which you are called? 2:8 However, if you fulfill the royal law, according to the Scripture, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself,"{Leviticus 19:18} you do well. 2:9 But if you show partiality, you commit sin, being convicted by the law as transgressors. 2:10 For whoever keeps the whole law, and yet stumbles in one point, he has become guilty of all. 2:11 For he who said, "Do not commit adultery,"{Exodus 20:14; Deuteronomy 5:18} also said, "Do not commit murder."{Exodus 10:13; Deuteronomy 5:17} Now if you do not commit adultery, but murder, you have become a transgressor of the law. 2:12 So speak, and so do, as men who are to be judged by a law of freedom.

In other words, one commandment completes all the commandments of the Old Law. That is a bible truth in Christ that cannot be changed by flesh. It is only by being in Christ, God's love us that we obey the truth, all of the truth in Christ. That puts any person with an honest heart sqaurly under the YHWH unmerited kindness, and/or underserved kindness of God where we must conclude that there are no works in grace or its no longer grace. Without love one cannot obey God, and without being put into Christ by God unmerited kindness we do not obey the truth of God who is love.

Romans 3:20 Because by the works of the law, no flesh will be justified in his sight. For through the law comes the knowledge of sin.

Romans 3:28 We maintain therefore that a man is justified by faith apart from the works of the law.

Romans 4:4 Now to him who works, the reward is not counted as grace, but as debt.

Romans 9:11 For being not yet born, neither having done anything good or bad, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him who calls,

Romans 9:32 Why? Because they didn't seek it by faith, but as it were by works of the law. They stumbled over the stumbling stone;

Romans 11:6 And if by grace, then it is no longer of works; otherwise grace is no longer grace. But if it is of works, it is no longer grace; otherwise work is no longer work.

Yes, this is the division between light and darkness the messeage of the entire truth of God once he poured out the Holy Spirit anything less than truth is a lie which breaks all of God righteous commandments and it not love. We simple cannot have any righteousness in and of ourselves, we are given that righteousness that is Christ, and in him, we are in God's love, and out of him under works of law, we are under self-righteouness.

1 John 1:6 If we say that we have fellowship with him and walk in the darkness, we lie, and don't tell the truth.

Titus 1:2 in hope of eternal life, which God, who can't lie, promised before time began;

Hebrews 6:18 that by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we may have a strong encouragement, who have fled for refuge to take hold of the hope set before us.

And that is why the law was not created for the righteous, but sinners, all are sinner unless they are put into anothers life without sin requiring God undeserved kindness as a free unearned gift to us.

1 John 3:5 You know that he was revealed to take away our sins, and in him is no sin.

1 John 3:6 Whoever remains in him doesn't sin. Whoever sins hasn't seen him, neither knows him.

1 John 3:9 Whoever is born of God doesn't commit sin, because his seed remains in him; and he can't sin, because he is born of God.

1 Corinthians 4:7 For who makes you different? And what do you have that you didn't receive? But if you did receive it, why do you boast as if you had not received it?

Philippians 1:11 being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.

Philippians 3:9 and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own, that which is of the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith;

Dear John,

Good to hear your voice in written word again! Nice comments, but I want to add to them being point specific, I hope the points below help?

We are not comparing ourselves or someone else flesh against the Spirit of God and his works of Holy Spirit, for we cannot measure ourselves in Christ against anything under sin, one is darkness, and one is light they do not dwell together we know the Christ is superior if we have his life in us, and we know he defeated death and Hades long before we born on this earth. That is settle truth for all those born of God's, and not in their own will.

We are not able in any fashion under sin to please God, that is, why the scriptures chose to call sin fleshly minded, and/or the flesh. The bible also uses the term the natural man.

1Cor.2:12 But we received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is from God, that we might know the things that were freely given to us by God. 2:13 Which things also we speak, not in words which man's wisdom teaches, but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual things. 2:14 Now the natural man doesn't receive the things of God's Spirit, for they are foolishness to him, and he can't know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

When Paul stated as Christ did himself that there nothing good was in his flesh, whereas, Christ told his listeners that there nothing in the flesh that could profit the “Spirit”. Christ (Christ had good in his flesh without sin, whereas none of us do). He was not personally trying to insult anyone, nor was the apostle Paul.

John 3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh. That which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

John 1:13 who were born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

John 6:63 It is the spirit who gives life. The flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and are life.

That truth was proven when Adam sinned and was put out of the Garden of Eden where he had been doing the “works of God” before he sinned. That point must not be overlooked simply as a shallow truth for Christian's, why? Because works really are the issue that confuse the flesh into creating all false religion.

John 8:15 You judge according to the flesh. I judge no one.

Romans 8:7 because the mind of the flesh is hostile towards God; for it is not subject to God's law, neither indeed can it be.

The depth of that transaction and judgment of Adam is what the whole human race is under, darkness of sin and death. Not one work of mankind in sin could ever get them and/or Adam back into the Garden of Eden, mankind must be without sin to do the works of God, God is only light and so are his works. Not even God's good, righteous, and perfect law made a person free of sin (like Adam had been before sinning), that is, allowing him contact with God that Adam had before sinning in Spirit and truth. (Having God in Adam, like God was in Christ none of the prophet had that until Christ as God's last prophet came died for us and pour out the Holy Spirit)

1 John 3:6 Whoever remains in him doesn't sin. Whoever sins hasn't seen him, neither knows him.

1 John 3:9 Whoever is born of God doesn't commit sin, because his seed remains in him; and he can't sin, because he is born of God.

The demarcation is called light and darkness, sin in man, and no sin in God, who is the light. That demarcation is the truth from Genesis into Revelations. The book of First John is talking about that subject as is the rest of the Greek Scriptures mainly is after the Holy Spirit was pour out.

1 John 1:5 This is the message which we have heard from him and announce to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.

1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ, his Son, cleanses us from all sin.

James.3:11 Does a spring send out from the same opening fresh and bitter water? 3:12 Can a fig tree, my brothers, yield olives, or a vine figs? Thus no spring yields both salt water and fresh water.

Christ is the light, Christ is the last Adam, Christ is the sinless lamb of God, he is the truth, but more importantly he is the one person that show us God's grace.

James. 1:14 The Word became flesh, and lived among us. We saw his glory, such glory as of the one and only Son of the Father, full of grace and truth.

Romans 11:5 Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.

Romans 5:21 that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Now we must be “in Christ” to know the mind of God (God's Grace - Christ), whom Christ is the teacher and mediator of God mind; God's thinking in Spirit and truth (love) that teaches all of his children the Spirit law of love. it is that truth that set us free from death and sin of our fleshly thinking. It is the Spirit that is liberty when we turn to it under the new coveant which is the job we are appointed to minster as God's anointed.

1 Corinthians 2:16 "For who has known the mind of the Lord, that he should instruct him?"{Isaiah 40:13} But we have Christ's mind.

1 John 4:8 He who doesn't love doesn't know God, for God is love.

The two cannot touch, sin, and incorruption, light and darkness cannot be doing the works of God. That is the basic truth of Adam being kicked out of the Garden (God's works for Adam) and the whole human race under sin until God gave us grace in the Son of God, “life”.

Hebrews 7:16 who has been made, not after the law of a fleshly commandment, but after the power of an endless life:

Colossians 3:3 For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.

It not our life we are in, but we are in Christ life, it not a matter of which one is right or wrong the flesh and/or Spirit it is a truth that God says flesh cannot please God, or the Son of God would not have had to come to earth and give us a new life one without sin in him, which God called Christ the last Adam. The first Adam lost God's works, and the last Adam without sin finishes all of God's works for mankind.

1 Corinthians 4:7 For who makes you different? And what do you have that you didn't receive? But if you did receive it, why do you boast as if you had not received it?

John.17:21 that they may all be one; even as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be one in us; that the world may believe that you sent me.

God is not reforming our old life, don't be fooled, he has clearly told us he is creating all things new. We are a new creation, because we are “in Christ” the new creation of God, its that simple. If we are in Christ the scriptures are abundantly clear we are doing the works of God through, and/or in Christ, God's works through Christ, in our mortified dead flesh by Spirit and truth. We are but a vessel in a tent that does what Christ works are for his body, outside his body we can do nothing of our old self, which we can judge those works as God's. Hence, proven by Adam being put out of the Garden, i.e., out of God's works for him, God's works only found in the Garden requiring Adam to be without sin. Adam was put into his own works outside of God's present in his flesh to produce works of death.

Romans 6:4 We were buried therefore with him through baptism to death, that just like Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life.

Romans 8:10 If Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the spirit is alive because of righteousness.

Philippians 1:11 being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.

Philippians 3:9 and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own, that which is of the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith;

There is no competition in doing works in Christ, because God is love, and in love there is no works of merit and earning by good deeds. Everything in the body of Christ including us are gifts of God's love. All we have is faith, in that, Christ is working through us because we believe God is love, and God's love only does good.

1 John 2:5 But whoever keeps his word, God's love has most certainly been perfected in him. This is how we know that we are in him:

1 John 2:21 I have not written to you because you don't know the truth, but because you know it, and because no lie is of the truth.

Those having the Spirit do not need a book telling them what spirit is of their flesh, and what spirit is God's Holy Spirit. It not a matter of learning by a bible or even a religion, but by the truth (Christ is the truth we are in), Christ told us what we would be given freely to all God's children in their anointing that would teaches them all things between light and darkness, that is, between God's love, light without sin where his works are, and the flesh that always is merit driven instead of giving freely or accepting the love of God freely.

Rom.13:8 Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law.

Romans 5:16 The gift is not as through one who sinned: for the judgment came by one to condemnation, but the free gift came of many trespasses to justification.

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Galatians 4:26 But the Jerusalem that is above is free, which is the mother of us all.

1 John 2:20 You have an anointing from the Holy One, and you all have knowledge.{Or, "know what is true." Or, "know all things."}

1 John 2:27 As for you, the anointing which you received from him remains in you, and you don't need for anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is no lie, and even as it taught you, you will remain in him.

Freedom is God's Spirit enslavement is the flesh under sin, and that is what the Spirit teaches us in Christ righteousness that conquered the world for us.

God's children do not live in fear of works of law or fool themselves that something good dwells in their old self that must be as good as Christ; that issue was lost long ago when God told us none of us are righteous not one. We then need to accept with all humility the unmerited life of Christ and his righteousness that makes us alive (new) from sin and death in the life of Christ as God gift of God's love to us undeservedly.

John.15:1 "I am the true vine, and my Father is the farmer.
15:2 Every branch in me that doesn't bear fruit, he takes away. Every branch that bears fruit, he prunes, that it may bear more fruit. 15:3 You are already pruned clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. 15:4 Remain in me, and I in you. As the branch can't bear fruit by itself, unless it remains in the vine, so neither can you, unless you remain in me.
15:5 I am the vine. You are the branches. He who remains in me, and I in him, the same bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing. 15:6 If a man doesn't remain in me, he is thrown out as a branch, and is withered; and they gather them, throw them into the fire, and they are burned.

However, in stating that, in Christ, we need not go looking for persecution. Hence the very life of Christ in us, in his righteousness makes us the target of the flesh dwelling in sin that lust against the Spirit of God, and is used by wicked spirit force to attack us day and night. Nor should we be confused why we have this burning of fire among us, and against us, because in Christ is our baptism by fire, the Spirit of God which has been given at our anointing is against the sinful flesh, the flesh that was put out of God's works, a work God himself created for a perfect man Adam without sin!

Romans 11:6 And if by grace, then it is no longer of works; otherwise grace is no longer grace. But if it is of works, it is no longer grace; otherwise work is no longer work.

1 Corinthians 12:6 There are various kinds of workings, but the same God, who works all things in all.

1 Corinthians 12:11 But the one and the same Spirit works all of these, distributing to each one separately as he desires.

That is the message of truth from the beginning there is no darkness in God, and if one wants to be in the light they must be made sinless in Christ life by being in him, and no one can get into Christ by works of their sinful flesh that is dead and will never be alive to God.

Galatians 2:16 yet knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, even we believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ, and not by the works of the law, because no flesh will be justified by the works of the law.

Galatians 3:2 I just want to learn this from you. Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by hearing of faith?

Galatians 3:5 He therefore who supplies the Spirit to you, and works miracles among you, does he do it by the works of the law, or by hearing of faith?

Ephesians 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them.

Philippians 2:13 For it is God who works in you both to will and to work, for his good pleasure.

2 Timothy 1:9 who saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given to us in Christ Jesus before times eternal.

Colossians 2:13 You were dead through your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh. He made you alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses,

Colossians 2:23 Which things indeed appear like wisdom in self-imposed worship, and humility, and severity to the body; but aren't of any value against the indulgence of the flesh.

Rev.1:17 When I saw him, I fell at his feet like a dead man. He laid his right hand on me, saying, "Don't be afraid. I am the first and the last, 1:18 and the Living one. I was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. I have the keys of Death and of Hades{or, Hell}.

Revelation 21:5 He who sits on the throne said, "Behold, I am making all things new." He said, "Write, for these words of God are faithful and true."

Overcoming The World

****1John.5:4 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world: your faith.
5:5 Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?

What is the “key” point of those that conquers, and/or overcomes this world? The message could not be clearer, it is those born of God! Not everyone studying about God or even claiming they love God, nor because they want to obey him overcomes the world. No! It is only those birthed of God that can and will overcome the world, but do we know why that is a true statement made by the Holy Spirit through the apostles John?

John.1:11 He came to his own, and those who were his own didn't receive him. 1:12 But as many as received him, to them he gave the right to become God's children, to those who believe in his name:
1:13 who were born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

Well, here a few points that our religion didn't teach us, these points can be read, but not understood unless we have been birthed by God as one of his children, and what are those points.

The world has a power behind it as will, yes, John speaks of that power as did Christ and his disciples did it is the wicked one Satan the Devil and the many, many wicked spirit force in heavenly places. However, what Christian's may not understand is Christ conquered all of them once resurrected and was seated at his Father right hand being given the glory of God by being made in to God's own incorruptibility by his Father YHWH.

1John.5:19 We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies in the power of the evil one.

John 12:31 Now is the judgment of this world. Now the prince of this world will be cast out.

John 14:30 I will no more speak much with you, for the prince of the world comes, and he has nothing in me.

John 16:11 about judgment, because the prince of this world has been judged.

John 17:14 I have given them your word. The world hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

Ephesians 2:2 in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the children of disobedience;

Colossians 2:15 having stripped the principalities and the powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

So what is the point? It is that each child of God is born by God's power, that is, by God's Holy Spirit, but what are they born into, into where and what? Into the body of Christ Jesus. It is in that condition of Christ life they receive the gifts of Christ living life in them and through them, that is, Christ righteousness, which means? Christ righteousness makes them sinless, so God's children have no sin in Christ. In other words, because they belong not to themselves but to Christ, his life, they have his righteousness, his mind, as their head, who is the director of his body, and if Christ conquered the world then obliviously so will they being in the same body as Chirst as members. In other words, if the head conquered the world then the body must also!

1Cor.1:29 that no flesh should boast before God.
1:30 But of him, you are in Christ Jesus, who was made to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption:

Philippians 1:11 being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.

Philippians 3:9 and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own, that which is of the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith;

1 John 3:6 Whoever remains in him doesn't sin. Whoever sins hasn't seen him, neither knows him.

1 John 3:9 Whoever is born of God doesn't commit sin, because his seed remains in him; and he can't sin, because he is born of God.

1 John 5:18 We know that whoever is born of God doesn't sin, but he who was born of God keeps himself, and the evil one doesn't touch him.

But it is only in Christ, by the power of his life that they can conqueror this world. One cannot conquer this world in their flesh under sin. It does not matter how much we study, and apply the Scriptures nor attend religious meetings that is not what conquers the world according to God's Holy Spirit in which John will give us more information in the verses below his comments here.

1John.5:6 This is he who came by water and blood, Jesus Christ; not with the water only, but with the water and the blood. It is the Spirit who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth.

There is no work we can do in Christ to conquer this world, it is a gift given us freely without our works, called grace, undeserved kindness. That grace is the free gift of God's love to us found in the precious life of Christ Jesus our life, our light, our hope, everything we need is in Christ that is why we conqueror in our faith, and that we why believe Christ is our life and we are given all things freely from God's love in Christ our live, do we believe that truth?

1Cor.3:16 Don't you know that you are a temple of God, and that God's Spirit lives in you?
3:17 If anyone destroys the temple of God, God will destroy him; for God's temple is holy, which you are.

1Cor. 3:21 Therefore let no one boast in men. For all things are yours,
3:22 whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come. All are yours,
3:23 and you are Christ's, and Christ is God's.

2 Timothy 1:10 but has now been revealed by the appearing of our Savior, Christ Jesus, who abolished death, and brought life and immortality to light through the Good News.

Colossians 3:3 For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.

Colossians 3:4 When Christ, our life, is revealed, then you will also be revealed with him in glory.

Galatians 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I that live, but Christ living in me. That life which I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself up for me.

The Spirit is The Truth

**** 1John.5:6 This is he who came by water and blood, Jesus Christ; not with the water only, but with the water and the blood. It is the Spirit who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth.

Somethings are not changeable no matter how much love or fear we may have about the thing or the subject. Knowledge of things should give us wisdom, but what knowledge should not do is deceive us into believing that truth can change, and/or because we have much knowledge of a subject the rules do not apply to us.

Romans 1:25 who exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.

God is the unchangeable truth not human's no matter how much knowledge obtained or applied in them it does not make mankind or a subject the truth! The apostle John under the power of the Holy Spirit did not tell us that a certain group, teaching, doctrine, and/or anything else under the Sun was the truth.

Hebrews 6:18 that by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we may have a strong encouragement, who have fled for refuge to take hold of the hope set before us.

Human's for as long as they have existed on this earth throughout ever culture have sought the truth. Great and learned men that have become renowned pillars of human civilization of today have been those with a heart for truth espousing principles of the human endeavor that are timeless throughout all generations.

1 John 2:21 I have not written to you because you don't know the truth, but because you know it, and because no lie is of the truth.

Yet, none of those person, places, or things are the truth according to the witnesses from the truth. It is the “Spirit” that is the truth! Nothing else, not one thing, but the Spirit, no exception was given by the apostle John; not even the apostles the pillars and support of the truth in the New Heavenly Jerusalem.

Titus 1:2 in hope of eternal life, which God, who can't lie, promised before time began;

Christ being baptized was not the truth (The Water). Christ giving us his soul; his life blood was not the truth. No! John becomes point specific, John makes the demarcation; not a religion, a teaching, or a bible, or scroll, John says the Spirit is the truth!

Zephaniah 3:13 The remnant of Israel will not do iniquity, nor speak lies, neither will a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth, for they will feed and lie down, and no one will make them afraid."
Truth does not reside with a lie, or sin, nor corruption. It does not reside in human's that fall short of the glory of God, because they are born into sin leading to death. The truth resided in, and forever in the Son of God. That is why, no where else will we find the Holy Spirit uttering the words; “this is my Son whom I approved”. Moreover, this is why Christ did not need the testimony of men, because he knew what was in man and what was in God that men were darkness compared to light that was found in him (God the truth).

John 1:51 He said to him, "Most certainly, I tell you, hereafter you will see heaven opened, and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of Man."

John 2:25 and because he didn't need for anyone to testify concerning man; for he himself knew what was in man.

So men and woman seeking truth through their own spirit, the power of their intellect, and/or mind, were the lie. Truth does not come from darkness of sin no matter how much education one has. What is flawed stays flawed as does polluted water which does not become clean water because someone reads their bible.

James.3:8 But nobody can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison. 3:9 With it we bless our God and Father, and with it we curse men, who are made in the image of God.
3:10 Out of the same mouth comes forth blessing and cursing. My brothers, these things ought not to be so.
3:11 Does a spring send out from the same opening fresh and bitter water? 3:12 Can a fig tree, my brothers, yield olives, or a vine figs? Thus no spring yields both salt water and fresh water.

The Spirit is the truth, anything less than the truth is a lie, anything less then the truth is death, and not eternal life. The message from the beginning is “God is light and in him is no darkness”.

1 John 1:5 This is the message which we have heard from him and announce to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.

Jesus stated only one is good for a good reason it was not a statement of humility, it was a fact of truth that no debate was open to! Humans disagree with the truth because they believe a corrupt tree can produce incorruptible fruit. But those given the wisdom from the teacher, the Spirit that is truth - know that is a lie!

1 Thessalonians 2:13 For this cause we also thank God without ceasing, that, when you received from us the word of the message of God, you accepted it not as the word of men, but, as it is in truth, the word of God, which also works in you who believe.

Matt. 7:17 Even so, every good tree produces good fruit; but the corrupt tree produces evil fruit. 7:18 A good tree can't produce evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree produce good fruit.

Those brothers and sisters moving away from the truth of the Spirit to teachers that were taking the place of the truth given them freely to each child of God by his/hers anointing were again believing the lie! They were willing to take the approval of men over the testimony of the Spirit that is truth.

Romans 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness,

Romans 1:25 who exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.

They simply and selfishly wanted the testimony of men more than God's Spirit bearing witnesses in them leading them into all truth of God. If one boasted of being anointed all the better they would happily let themselves be enslaved again into sin and death to be approved by the testimony of the flesh.

1 John 2:20 You have an anointing from the Holy One, and you all have knowledge.{Or, "know what is true." Or, "know all things."}

1 John 2:27 As for you, the anointing which you received from him remains in you, and you don't need for anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is no lie, and even as it taught you, you will remain in him.

This is the simply plain and profound truth that started the great apostasy the weeds cast among the planting of God's wheat, the leavened that ferment all the kingdom representatives of God on earth. Furthermore, it is the same apostasy that exist today in the hearts of men and woman that love the glory of flesh; their own, or others more than the glory of God!

John 5:44 How can you believe, who receive glory from one another, and you don't seek the glory that comes from the only God?

John 7:18 He who speaks from himself seeks his own glory, but he who seeks the glory of him who sent him is true, and no unrighteousness is in him.

John 8:50 But I don't seek my own glory. There is one who seeks and judges.

John 8:54 Jesus answered, "If I glorify myself, my glory is nothing. It is my Father who glorifies me, of whom you say that he is our God.

The Man of Lawlessness

****1John.5:10 He who believes in the Son of God has the testimony in himself. He who doesn't believe God has made him a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony that God has given concerning his Son. 5:11 The testimony is this, that God gave to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 5:12 He who has the Son has the life. He who doesn't have God's Son doesn't have the life.

The confusion in lawlessness and darkness is found between light and darkness in the shadows of men and woman hearts bent upon making the power of Christ righteous life into little more than corruptness of mankind own life found in the pride of sin.

Matt.5:37 But let your 'Yes' be 'Yes' and your 'No' be 'No.' Whatever is more than these is of the evil one.

Is it darkness or is it light the apostle John address the real question? Is it in our own mind the fear found in our own flesh, or is it the light that cannot be corrupted or controlled by the things of our flesh? What indeed is the testimony? A preacher, a religious, a massive corporation, a powerful government built upon the name of God, what is the testimony for God's children?

Matt.7:18 A good tree can't produce evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree produce good fruit.

Here is the testimony: God gave us eternal life, and that eternal life is the Son of God, or its not? Does the churches teach that, does governments teach that? No! For they teach we are earning eternal life based upon the standards they teach from God's word the bible, but was that the message God's children was given by the Spirit?

Matthew 6:23 But if your eye is evil, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is the darkness!

1 John 1:5 This is the message which we have heard from him and announce to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.

Sadly, if we think so we have missed the point? The life of Christ is the constant testimony in us (light), not words from religion, not words from men or woman, not words heard by the world, but the incorruptible life of Christ in us always is working for the Father glory in righteousness that is the power of our new life in Christ.

1 Corinthians 1:30 But of him, you are in Christ Jesus, who was made to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption:

Philippians 1:11 being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.

Philippians 3:9 and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own, that which is of the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith;

Isn't it simple? Yes, so simple, that if one has the source of all life in them, they have life, if they do not, they don't have life. Now we can introduce evil into those thoughts as religion does, or we can say words of truth which are not evil but state the unchangeable laws of God. Life only comes from Christ that is what God put upon Christ, and that is why God dwells in Christ so without Christ we certainly don't have eternal life. You see what is the message, what is the testimony, without the power of life behind it it is death, darkness? Well, its not words on paper or scrolls someone must breathe life into the dead words, but if the Word of God is a live, (Spirit) then it must exerts power of truth when speaking, that is, the very power of his life (the truth Christ Jesus) who is incorruptible, so his every word are life, breathing life into his body members.

1 John 4:13 By this we know that we remain in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit.

1 John 5:6 This is he who came by water and blood, Jesus Christ; not with the water only, but with the water and the blood. It is the Spirit who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth.

1 Corinthians 4:20 For the Kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.

Why were these brothers and sisters fearing the flesh that is dead in Christ more than the testimony of God which gave them their life in Christ life? Well, it was the teaching of false religion, the lurking place of demons, where man justifies the lust in his heart for this world by wrapping God's written words around his selfish ambition, such is the darkness, a drunkenness of the demon processing thoughts that are misleading all the nations against God.

1 John 5:19 We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies in the power of the evil one.

The message could not be clearer, it is the never changing message from the beginning; there is no darkness in light, the darkness is in us the darkness we want and believe we can justify by God's own righteousness, Christ Jesus, and/or we can come to the light and be reproved by the power of truth (Spirit), if we love truth?

1Cor.4:5 Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord comes, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and reveal the counsels of the hearts. Then each man will get his praise from God.

Ephesians 3:20 Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,

The Eternal Life

**** 1John 5:13 These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God. 5:14 This is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. 5:15 And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him.

If one must work does he or she have eternal life? Profound question is it not? But a simple truth overlooked and discredited by those living in fear of judgment in their flesh!

Romans 11:6 And if by grace, then it is no longer of works; otherwise grace is no longer grace. But if it is of works, it is no longer grace; otherwise work is no longer work.

The gift of God is what these brothers and sister were being talked out of for another Good News of “earned salvation”, not by a gift, but rather by works they never had in the first place. Yes, Satan the angel of light of the flesh, Satan the liar, whom told Eve essentially that she had life without God that she could be equal to God by having a gift God had given her freely.

1 Corinthians 4:7 For who makes you different? And what do you have that you didn't receive? But if you did receive it, why do you boast as if you had not received it?

Romans 11:29 For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.

Now the same old lie was being used, nothing new under the Sun; none of God's anointed had anointed themselves or birthed themselves into the life of Christ. Not one had ever experience any such birth on earth in their flesh. Not one of them had ever received another person life in them let alone the eternal life. Yes, no mystery here, Christ is the eternal life, the eternal Father of us, why? Because we have received Christ eternal life in us, and us in him!

John 1:13 who were born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

John 3:3 Jesus answered him, "Most certainly, I tell you, unless one is born anew,{The word translated "anew" here and in John 3:7 (anothen) also means "again" and "from above".} he can't see the Kingdom of God."

1 Peter 1:23 having been born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, through the word of God, which lives and remains forever.

Had they received eternal life if they had Christ in them? Of course they had, or they hadn't, there is nothing in between light and darkness that is of God's. The message is quiet simple there is no darkness in the light that is the message from the beginning what had changed in these brothers and sisters?

James.1:16 Don't be deceived, my beloved brothers.
1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow. 1:18 Of his own will he brought us forth by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of first fruits of his creatures.

Was Christ righteousness at work in them? Did they have the Holy Spirit that was teaching them? This was not a unreality a word game where children think if they believe hard enough then they can make themselves into something else or live somewhere that is a fancy.

Unreality is what God's people experienced in the flesh these brothers and sisters flesh was dead in Christ so they could become the reality, the light. Where does darkness come from if its not from evil one?

Romans 2:19 and are confident that you yourself are a guide of the blind, a light to those who are in darkness.

2 Corinthians 4:6 seeing it is God who said, "Light will shine out of darkness,"{Genesis 1:3} who has shone in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

Hebrews 10:1 For the law, having a shadow of the good to come, not the very image of the things, can never with the same sacrifices year by year, which they offer continually, make perfect those who draw near.

1 Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God's own possession, that you may proclaim the excellence of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light:

Colossians 2:12 having been buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead.

How can teaching claim to be the light when those teaching are telling us we don't have eternal life that is indwelling us? What Doctor tells their patient they don't have life that they must work to gain it, they must study and read to have life, what fools game is being play here by the intellects of the word of God. If it not life than it is death, is there something in between that for God's children?

John 5:39 "You search the Scriptures, because you think that in them you have eternal life; and these are they which testify about me.

John 5:40 Yet you will not come to me, that you may have life.

John 6:47 Most certainly, I tell you, he who believes in me has eternal life.

1 John 1:2 (and the life was revealed, and we have seen, and testify, and declare to you the life, the eternal life, which was with the Father, and was revealed to us);

1 John 5:11 The testimony is this, that God gave to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.

If the eye of the body is not judged, then the whole body is not judged, have we separated the judgment of life into degrees like attorney of law? What is being said here by false teachers that the eye needs something the body is not going to supply it? Well, yes, that was the lie being told by false teachers, but why? Because the things being ask for were not of God's will, and/or the will of the body in Christ. So how does one get the world if we are in the body of Christ that is no part of the world, we don't!

James. 4:1 Where do wars and fightings among you come from? Don't they come from your pleasures that war in your members?
4:2 You lust, and don't have. You kill, covet, and can't obtain. You fight and make war. You don't have, because you don't ask.
4:3 You ask, and don't receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it for your pleasures.
4:4 You adulterers and adulteresses, don't you know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.

John tells us right at the start not to love the world that is none of it, none of it is the light and loved by God. The message is very clear there is no darkness in light, and the world is darkness to God and all of its ways and teaching are vanity.

1 John 4:5 They are of the world. Therefore they speak of the world, and the world hears them.

1 John 2:15 Don't love the world, neither the things that are in the world. If anyone loves the world, the Father's love isn't in him.

Does Christ listen to his body members or not? Yes, or no? Everything in between are lies, the lurking place of the demons. So, yes of course, he does as we do our own body. How can we have life in our body and not think its in our toe?

1 John 4:1 Beloved, don't believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.

Let us not be foolish here those having the eternal life must listen to what the Spirit says, not the power of the world working through some teacher using the bible. The eternal life is the truth and the Spirit we must have to be in God's righteousness, that is, Christ Jesus our righteousness that has conquered this world, has sanctified us, who is our wisdom, and God's love, which cannot fail. In that we have confidence, but not in our flesh dead to God and Christ in the life of Christ. In Christ life not our old dead life we have boldness in the day the Lord will judge mankind the living and the dead, because in Christ is God's love and there is no judgment in God's love.

1 John 4:9 By this God's love was revealed in us, that God has sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.

1 John 4:17 In this love has been made perfect among us, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment, because as he is, even so are we in this world.

1 John 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear has punishment. He who fears is not made perfect in love.

Sin Not Leading to Death:

****1John. 5:16 If anyone sees his brother sinning a sin not leading to death, he shall ask, and God will give him life for those who sin not leading to death. There is a sin leading to death. I don't say that he should make a request concerning this.
5:17 All unrighteousness is sin, and there is a sin not leading to death.

These are the verses that Christian's avoid like a plague they are fearful and unexplainable by works of law! Moreover, once legalized that is, put back under the laws of the flesh, i.e., the old law they lead a person into a religion based on degrees of sin, some bad, and some not so bad, that is, the ones accepted by society and/or the majority of our religion, and the ones not.

Did Christ sin? And did the sins he carried in his mortal body, lead him into death, and/or life? That question is the crux of how these verses John penned under the power of Christ life indwelling him are to be understood. No! Christ never sinned, or the whole bible is a lie, and so is God who cannot lie!

1 Peter 2:22 who did not sin, "neither was deceit found in his mouth."{Isaiah 53:9}

The life we are born into as human is under going death because of sin; all have sinned and fall short of God's glory, that is, having no sin is God's glory for us to be of God reflecting his glory in us. Thus, the sin leading to death is the Adamic sin we all have, that sin, Christ did not have.

2 Corinthians 5:21 For him who knew no sin he made to be sin on our behalf; so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

He carried our sins, but they were not his sin, nor were they accounted against him because he was a victim (born sinless by God), a pass-over lamb having no choice in the matter, like Isaac and Abraham, when God commanded Abraham to offer up his only begotten son from his marriage to Sarah. Christ carried our sins that did not lead to death, that is, the judgment upon all sinner; death that pays the wages for sin.

Hebrews 9:28 so Christ also, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, without sin, to those who are eagerly waiting for him for salvation.

1 John 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

Now we come the the hard issue for all of us whom are sinners. The entirety of the book of 1John stands on one foundation that of being sinless in Christ. Truth; one cannot be in Christ with sin, so how does one live in Adamic sin and be sinless in Christ or is this all a cruel joke by God?

1 John 3:6 Whoever remains in him doesn't sin. Whoever sins hasn't seen him, neither knows him.

First, did Christ on earth have eternal life? When was eternal life lost for Adam and Eve? They lost eternal life once they “sinned”. Did Christ sin on earth? No! So Christ never lost eternal life, but neither had he been given incorruptible life by God.

1 John 2:21 I have not written to you because you don't know the truth, but because you know it, and because no lie is of the truth.

Romans 4:7 "Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, whose sins are covered.

Christ was declared righteous by God, Christ as the victim of mankind sins carried our sins which lead to death of Adam, but they were not his sins. He felt death at work in his body, he felt the sickness of mankind, he felt our fears, our hates, and love, he felt everything that had been created by sin, that is, the filth of ones flesh from sin.

1 Peter 3:21 This is a symbol of baptism, which now saves you--not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

While at the same time he felt the eternal life given to him by God, yes! He felt God at work in him, (nothing conquers God), nothing! That is impossible let alone the weakness of sin. Christ having God indwelling him created a fiery test beyond the power of any sin or flesh, in a baptism by fire. Christ was made into the likeness of sin, but did not sin.

Rom. 8:3 For what the law couldn't do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God did, sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh;

Now Christ finishes his ministry on earth undergoing the darkness of sin and was made alive once more only this time is spirit alone without flesh under Adamic sin. He conquers Adamic sin once for all time. Moreover, he his been made perfect in God's love (not his own; God's own love perfectly saved him.) while he was on earth having perfect faith in the power of God's life. He is given incorruptible life, which is the very image of God.

Heb.1:1 God, having in the past spoken to the fathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways,
1:2 has at the end of these days spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, through whom also he made the worlds.
1:3 His Son is the radiance of his glory, the very image of his substance, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself made purification for our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

Now the process must of necessity repeat itself for those children of God that have the incorruptible life of Christ indwelling them, those whom John wrote this letter to, God's anointed children. They were made dead to the old sinful man (person man or woman) they had been given a new life, the life of Christ. They had been given eternal life because Christ life is eternal freely given them, that is, having no sin.

Romans 7:4 Therefore, my brothers, you also were made dead to the law through the body of Christ, that you would be joined to another, to him who was raised from the dead, that we might bring forth fruit to God.

Romans 11:16 If the first fruit is holy, so is the lump. If the root is holy, so are the branches.

James 1:18 Of his own will he brought us forth by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of first fruits of his creatures.

Romans 8:29 For whom he foreknew, he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.{The word for "brothers" here and where context allows may also be correctly translated "brothers and sisters" or "siblings."}

The old person dead in Christ can sin no more, it is impossible for dead people don't sin they have legally paid the price for their sins in the death of their mortal bodies. God's children like Christ carry the sins that lead to death of Adamic sin of others, they undergo the trial by fire like Christ did in the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

Matthew 20:23 He said to them, "You will indeed drink my cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with, but to sit on my right hand and on my left hand is not mine to give; but it is for whom it has been prepared by my Father."

They are perfected in God's love in Christ just as Christ was in his flesh. In other words, feeling constant death at work in them as Christ did in his flesh they are now undergoing the truth they find in that condition by fire is that God's love cannot fail nor can they be separated God's love no matter what legal logic the fallen flesh puts in upon them just as Christ felt in the likeness of flesh.

Rom.8:3 For what the law couldn't do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God did, sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh;

Rom.7:15 For I don't know what I am doing. For I don't practice what I desire to do; but what I hate, that I do.

Rom.7:17 So now it is no more I that do it, but sin which dwells in me. 7:18 For I know that in me, that is, in my flesh, dwells no good thing. For desire is present with me, but I don't find it doing that which is good. 7:19 For the good which I desire, I don't do; but the evil which I don't desire, that I practice.

It is in the love of God, which is God's promise to his children they find the truth of God's indescribable mercy and undeserved kindness that surpasses all knowledge of death from sin at work in them which cannot lead them into death because of God's love (sin not leading to death). The love which was denied by Adam and wicked spirit force in heavenly place.

To be judging sin in God's children as everlasting proof that they are not his children by a religion that condemn sins and teaches sin can be removed by human effort and will power is to deny the power of Christ at work in each child of God which Spirit is the proof that Christ eternal life dwells in each child of God. They must like Christ undergo in their mortified body death from the power of sin, while putting faith in the truth in them by the Spirit. (the Spirit is the truth)
Rom.7:24 What a wretched man I am! Who will deliver me out of the body of this death? 7:25 I thank God through Jesus Christ, our Lord! So then with the mind, I myself serve God's law, but with the flesh, the sin's law.

Few know this truth, fewer yet will ever know the real working of God found in the members of Christ life, his body. And for that reason they live in sin, they judge sins, and condemn each other in their sin (returning evil for evil), just as did those condemning Christ upon earth while God whom made Christ in the likeness sin, i.e., against God, thus, Christ appear cursed to the fleshly self-righteous.

Isa.53:3 He was despised, and rejected by men; a man of suffering, and acquainted with disease. He was despised as one from whom men hide their face; and we didn't respect him.
53:4 Surely he has borne our sickness, and carried our suffering; yet we considered him plagued, struck by God, and afflicted.
53:5 But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed.
53:6 All we like sheep have gone astray. Everyone has turned to his own way; and Yahweh has laid on him the iniquity of us all.
53:7 He was oppressed, yet when he was afflicted he didn't open his mouth. As a lamb that is led to the slaughter, and as a sheep that before its shearers is mute, so he didn't open his mouth.
53:8 He was taken away by oppression and judgment; and as for his generation, who considered that he was cut off out of the land of the living and stricken for the disobedience of my people?

It was vital that God's children understand nothing of this world judgments, it thinking, its ways, had anything to do with them and God's works being done in them. That information could not be known by this world, let alone accepted by this world, or explain to the world, it had to be experienced in having the incorruptible life of Christ indwelling them. That information was to be reveal by God, when Christ is reveal to complete the end of all death, its glorious works through the mind of Christ in setting the creation free by the son's of God.

Colossians 1:26 the mystery which has been hidden for ages and generations. But now it has been revealed to his saints,

Colossians 3:4 When Christ, our life, is revealed, then you will also be revealed with him in glory.

1 Peter 1:5 who by the power of God are guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

1 Peter 5:4 When the chief Shepherd is revealed, you will receive the crown of glory that doesn't fade away.

1 John 1:2 (and the life was revealed, and we have seen, and testify, and declare to you the life, the eternal life, which was with the Father, and was revealed to us);
