God's Works, Who, What, When, and Where?

We are not comparing ourselves or someone else flesh against the Spirit of God and his works of Holy Spirit, for we cannot measure ourselves in Christ against anything under sin, one is darkness, and one is light they do not dwell together we know the Christ is superior if we have his life in us, and we know he defeated death and Hades long before we born on this earth. That is settle truth for all those born of God's, and not in their own will.

We are not able in any fashion under sin to please God, that is, why the scriptures chose to call sin fleshly minded, and/or the flesh. The bible also uses the term the natural man.

1Cor.2:12 But we received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is from God, that we might know the things that were freely given to us by God. 2:13 Which things also we speak, not in words which man's wisdom teaches, but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual things. 2:14 Now the natural man doesn't receive the things of God's Spirit, for they are foolishness to him, and he can't know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

When Paul stated as Christ did himself that there nothing good was in his flesh, whereas, Christ told his listeners that there nothing in the flesh that could profit the “Spirit”. Christ (Christ had good in his flesh without sin, whereas none of us do). He was not personally trying to insult anyone, nor was the apostle Paul.

John 3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh. That which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

John 1:13 who were born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

John 6:63 It is the spirit who gives life. The flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and are life.

That truth was proven when Adam sinned and was put out of the Garden of Eden where he had been doing the “works of God” before he sinned. That point must not be overlooked simply as a shallow truth for Christian's, why? Because works really are the issue that confuse the flesh into creating all false religion.

John 8:15 You judge according to the flesh. I judge no one.

Romans 8:7 because the mind of the flesh is hostile towards God; for it is not subject to God's law, neither indeed can it be.

The depth of that transaction and judgment of Adam is what the whole human race is under, darkness of sin and death. Not one work of mankind in sin could ever get them and/or Adam back into the Garden of Eden, mankind must be without sin to do the works of God, God is only light and so are his works. Not even God's good, righteous, and perfect law made a person free of sin (like Adam had been before sinning), that is, allowing him contact with God that Adam had before sinning in Spirit and truth. (Having God in Adam, like God was in Christ none of the prophet had that until Christ as God's last prophet came died for us and pour out the Holy Spirit)

1 John 3:6 Whoever remains in him doesn't sin. Whoever sins hasn't seen him, neither knows him.

1 John 3:9 Whoever is born of God doesn't commit sin, because his seed remains in him; and he can't sin, because he is born of God.

The demarcation is called light and darkness, sin in man, and no sin in God, who is the light. That demarcation is the truth from Genesis into Revelations. The book of First John is talking about that subject as is the rest of the Greek Scriptures mainly is after the Holy Spirit was pour out.

1 John 1:5 This is the message which we have heard from him and announce to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.

1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ, his Son, cleanses us from all sin.

James.3:11 Does a spring send out from the same opening fresh and bitter water? 3:12 Can a fig tree, my brothers, yield olives, or a vine figs? Thus no spring yields both salt water and fresh water.

Christ is the light, Christ is the last Adam, Christ is the sinless lamb of God, he is the truth, but more importantly he is the one person that show us God's grace.

James. 1:14 The Word became flesh, and lived among us. We saw his glory, such glory as of the one and only Son of the Father, full of grace and truth.

Romans 11:5 Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.

Romans 5:21 that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Now we must be “in Christ” to know the mind of God (God's Grace - Christ), whom Christ is the teacher and mediator of God mind; God's thinking in Spirit and truth (love) that teaches all of his children the Spirit law of love. it is that truth that set us free from death and sin of our fleshly thinking. It is the Spirit that is liberty when we turn to it under the new coveant which is the job we are appointed to minster as God's anointed.

1 Corinthians 2:16 "For who has known the mind of the Lord, that he should instruct him?"{Isaiah 40:13} But we have Christ's mind.

1 John 4:8 He who doesn't love doesn't know God, for God is love.

1 John 4:10 In this is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son as the atoning sacrifice{"atoning sacrifice" is from the Greek "hilasmos," an appeasing, propitiating, or the means of appeasement or propitiation--the sacrifice that turns away God's wrath because of our sin.} for our sins.

The two cannot touch, sin, and incorruption, light and darkness cannot be doing the works of God. That is the basic truth of Adam being kicked out of the Garden (God's works for Adam) and the whole human race under sin until God gave us grace in the Son of God, “life”.

Hebrews 7:16 who has been made, not after the law of a fleshly commandment, but after the power of an endless life:

Colossians 3:3 For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.

It not our life we are in, but we are in Christ life, it not a matter of which one is right or wrong the flesh and/or Spirit it is a truth that God says flesh cannot please God, or the Son of God would not have had to come to earth and give us a new life one without sin in him, which God called Christ the last Adam. The first Adam lost God's works, and the last Adam without sin finishes all of God's works for mankind.

1 Corinthians 4:7 For who makes you different? And what do you have that you didn't receive? But if you did receive it, why do you boast as if you had not received it?

John.17:21 that they may all be one; even as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be one in us; that the world may believe that you sent me.

God is not reforming our old life, don't be fooled, he has clearly told us he is creating all things new. We are a new creation, because we are “in Christ” the new creation of God, its that simple. If we are in Christ the scriptures are abundantly clear we are doing the works of God through, and/or in Christ, God's works through Christ, in our mortified dead flesh by Spirit and truth. We are but a vessel in a tent that does what Christ works are for his body, outside his body we can do nothing of our old self, which we can judge those works as God's. Hence, proven by Adam being put out of the Garden, i.e., out of God's works for him, God's works only found in the Garden requiring Adam to be without sin. Adam was put into his own works outside of God's present in his flesh to produce works of death.

Romans 6:4 We were buried therefore with him through baptism to death, that just like Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life.

Romans 8:10 If Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the spirit is alive because of righteousness.

Philippians 1:11 being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.

Philippians 3:9 and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own, that which is of the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith;

There is no competition in doing works in Christ, because God is love, and in love there is no works of merit and earning by good deeds. Everything in the body of Christ including us are gifts of God's love. All we have is faith, in that, Christ is working through us because we believe God is love, and God's love only does good.

1 John 2:5 But whoever keeps his word, God's love has most certainly been perfected in him. This is how we know that we are in him:

1 John 2:21 I have not written to you because you don't know the truth, but because you know it, and because no lie is of the truth.

Those having the Spirit do not need a book telling them what spirit is of their flesh, and what spirit is God's Holy Spirit. It not a matter of learning by a bible or even a religion, but by the truth (Christ is the truth we are in), Christ told us what we would be given freely to all God's children in their anointing that would teaches them all things between light and darkness, that is, between God's love, light without sin where his works are, and the flesh that always is merit driven instead of giving freely or accepting the love of God freely.

Rom.13:8 Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law.

Romans 5:16 The gift is not as through one who sinned: for the judgment came by one to condemnation, but the free gift came of many trespasses to justification.

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Galatians 4:26 But the Jerusalem that is above is free, which is the mother of us all.

1 John 2:20 You have an anointing from the Holy One, and you all have knowledge.{Or, "know what is true." Or, "know all things."}

1 John 2:27 As for you, the anointing which you received from him remains in you, and you don't need for anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is no lie, and even as it taught you, you will remain in him.

Freedom is God's Spirit enslavement is the flesh under sin, and that is what the Spirit teaches us in Christ righteousness that conquered the world for us.

God's children do not live in fear of works of law or fool themselves that something good dwells in their old self that must be as good as Christ; that issue was lost long ago when God told us none of us are righteous not one. We then need to accept with all humility the unmerited life of Christ and his righteousness that makes us alive (new) from sin and death in the life of Christ as God gift of God's love to us undeservedly.

John.15:1 "I am the true vine, and my Father is the farmer.
15:2 Every branch in me that doesn't bear fruit, he takes away. Every branch that bears fruit, he prunes, that it may bear more fruit. 15:3 You are already pruned clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. 15:4 Remain in me, and I in you. As the branch can't bear fruit by itself, unless it remains in the vine, so neither can you, unless you remain in me.
15:5 I am the vine. You are the branches. He who remains in me, and I in him, the same bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing. 15:6 If a man doesn't remain in me, he is thrown out as a branch, and is withered; and they gather them, throw them into the fire, and they are burned.

However, in stating that, in Christ, we need not go looking for persecution. Hence the very life of Christ in us, in his righteousness makes us the target of the flesh dwelling in sin that lust against the Spirit of God, and is used by wicked spirit force to attack us day and night. Nor should we be confused why we have this burning of fire among us, and against us, because in Christ is our baptism by fire, the Spirit of God which has been given at our anointing is against the sinful flesh, the flesh that was put out of God's works, a work God himself created for a perfect man Adam without sin!

Romans 11:6 And if by grace, then it is no longer of works; otherwise grace is no longer grace. But if it is of works, it is no longer grace; otherwise work is no longer work.

1 Corinthians 12:6 There are various kinds of workings, but the same God, who works all things in all.

1 Corinthians 12:11 But the one and the same Spirit works all of these, distributing to each one separately as he desires.

That is the message of truth from the beginning there is no darkness in God, and if one wants to be in the light they must be made sinless in Christ life by being in him, and no one can get into Christ by works of their sinful flesh that is dead and will never be alive to God.

Galatians 2:16 yet knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, even we believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ, and not by the works of the law, because no flesh will be justified by the works of the law.

Galatians 3:2 I just want to learn this from you. Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by hearing of faith?

Galatians 3:5 He therefore who supplies the Spirit to you, and works miracles among you, does he do it by the works of the law, or by hearing of faith?

Ephesians 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them.

Philippians 2:13 For it is God who works in you both to will and to work, for his good pleasure.

2 Timothy 1:9 who saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given to us in Christ Jesus before times eternal.

Colossians 2:13 You were dead through your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh. He made you alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses,

Colossians 2:23 Which things indeed appear like wisdom in self-imposed worship, and humility, and severity to the body; but aren't of any value against the indulgence of the flesh.

Rev.1:17 When I saw him, I fell at his feet like a dead man. He laid his right hand on me, saying, "Don't be afraid. I am the first and the last, 1:18 and the Living one. I was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. I have the keys of Death and of Hades{or, Hell}.

Revelation 21:5 He who sits on the throne said, "Behold, I am making all things new." He said, "Write, for these words of God are faithful and true."
