Death Works In Us
(2019 Memorial of Christ Death)

2 Corinthians 4:12 So then death works in us, but life in you.

Death at work in us? What does that even mean? Here we find a teaching that Christian's avoid like a plague as they preach only life? Yet, each and every year, and sometimes daily certain Christian's groups partake of the emblems of bread and wine not even realizing what they are celebrating, and/or remembering?

We are celebrating the death, not the life, but the death of Christ, did you realize that?

1 Corinthians 11:26 For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until he comes.

So do we understand the importance of the death that apostle Paul wrote about when saying; “ death was at work in him so that the life of Christ might be at work in the body of Christ?”

Foundation Stone of Christ Jesus

Why is death being celebrated? Well, the last enemy of God is what? Death!

1.

Let us clarify, if we live with death daily to where we can't see it for what it actually is? That is, a person has a condition that handicaps them and they have never known anything else but their handicap to where its becomes a normal way of life because thats all they've ever known, moreover, its not going away it can become common place; away of life for them. Hence, living in death working in us, is humans common place, but is that what Paul spoke to?

1 John 2:15 Don't love the world, neither the things that are in the world. If anyone loves the world, the Father's love isn't in him.

Unfortunately, it has become common place not an enemy, but away of life. However, is this the life of a Christian's, the one they were born new again into by God's Holy Spirit, has it become common place where we cannot see death and life working in us? Has it become away of life like the world that lives with death, and no longer accounts it as an enemy of God, something God says he hates and must remove so Satan the ruler of this world is brought to nothing, that is, his power gained through of using in making death common place.

1 Corinthians 15:26 The last enemy that will be abolished is death.

1 Corinthians 15:56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.

Does Satan Get His Power Over the World by Life, or Death?

To answer that question we must go deeper than common religious teachings. First, we must have context of what life Paul was speaking about at work in him, what it was?

2.

Life, that is, the life Paul was referring to was the life of Christ Jesus in him, working in him, not the life we have from our parents under Adamic sin promoting death in all of us; but why the life of Christ Jesus and not just life in general we recieve from our parents?

Hebrews 7:16 who has been made, not after the law of a fleshly commandment, but after the power of an endless life:

1 John 1:2 (and the life was revealed, and we have seen, and testify, and declare to you the life, the eternal life, which was with the Father, and was revealed to us);

God is the only source of life, none other. In other words, for any human to have life, that is, eternal life they would need to be in God who is life, not just any life, but God's incorruptible life. Lets make this clear God YHWH does not conceive death for humans and spirit sons, he can't because his very existence is incorruptible life which mean God's life is beyond corruption of death, any type of death. Whatever, God speaks or touches by his words or life is life, not death, but for those with sin ruling them touching life, God's life it become death, as is light is to darkness.

John 5:26 For as the Father has life in himself, even so he gave to the Son also to have life in himself.

That is why God can say if he sends his word out it will have certain success, for nothing can kill the life of God, nothing! God made Christ Jesus his life; he gave Christ his very image which is incorruptible life upon his death death in the flesh and resurrection in spirit.

Heb.1:3 His Son is the radiance of his glory, the very image of his substance, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself made purification for our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;
3.
So in that context of what Paul speaks of the life was being revealed in Christ body members, Christ life, while at the sametime Christ was conquers death in Paul. That is, the life of Christ now resurrected into incorruptibility of God's life came about by the death and humiliation of Christ flesh on this earth! (remembering who's sin Christ was carrying, {ours}) Death is personified in Paul the summation of whole of death caused by human wisdom and thinking outside of God mind that Christ would conquer for the body of Christ.

Acts 8:33 In his humiliation, his judgment was taken away. Who will declare His generation? For his life is taken from the earth."{Isaiah 53:7,8}

Without that simple understanding one cannot understand the deep things of God, and/or Christ working in God's children? We find a complete contradiction of what is taught by false religion and the truth of Christ work found in God's children as Paul was himself was under going.

Romans 8:21 that the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of decay into the liberty of the glory of the children of God.

False Religion Focus on Flesh

John 8:15 You judge according to the flesh. I judge no one.

False religion teaches that its all so simple, when we died we are freed from the power of death and go right into God's arms, and/or paradise, but is that how death works in God's children?

4.

But is such a simplistic view of death working in us really the truth? Is death that simple, the death Paul was referring to? Why then the humiliation of Christ and all God's children while on earth? So we must ask? What is the power inner-woven upon all the nations of this earth in every generation since sin entered our world from Adam? Isn't it truly the workings of death causing alienation from the incorruptible life of God and His that gives us eternal life?

Consequently, If life had been at work upon all nations since Adam sinned neither would there be corruption on eath, and all the problems found in all governments, commerce, and religion since this earth was founded by Satan power in using death.

Revelation 20:14 Death and Hades{or, Hell} were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire.

1 Corinthians 15:26 The last enemy that will be abolished is death.

Revelation 21:4 He will wipe away from them every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; neither will there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain, any more. The first things have passed away."

2 Corinthians 2:16 to the one a stench from death to death; to the other a sweet aroma from life to life. Who is sufficient for these things?

How Does Christ Break up The Works of The Devil?

John 1:5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness hasn't overcome{The word translated "overcome" (katelaben) can also be translated "comprehended." It refers to getting a grip on an enemy to defeat him.} it.

5.

We were are also told by the apostle Paul that the entire creation that we live in had been subjected to futility, which is another word for vanity.

Rom. 8:20 For the creation was subjected to vanity, not of its own will, but because of him who subjected it, in hope
8:21 that the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of decay into the liberty of the glory of the children of God.

Putting that information into context we could stated it like this: Everything we can do on earth being born into sin is not of God for he is light, light, and we are living in death darkness. Death (sin) cannot bring us eternal life, it cannot be used to change our life born into sin, and so every work under the Sun is sheer vanity, and/or futility. It not going to last for an eternity, it not going to heaven or paradise because it created outside of God, that is, death, not life! Everything outside of God is darkness not light.

Romans 8:10 If Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the spirit is alive because of righteousness.

1 Timothy 6:16 who alone has immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light; whom no man has seen, nor can see: to whom be honor and eternal power. Amen.

Philippians 3:8 Yes most certainly, and I count all things to be loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus, my Lord, for whom I suffered the loss of all things, and count them nothing but refuse, that I may gain Christ

God does not love the world that man has created from the workings of sin in death, that is, works human must do to maintain this world, God does not do works of darkness found in sin because he is incorruptible light, that is, life, so nothing of corruption from darkness, i.e., sin can be in God or from God in his own works!
6.
1 Corinthians 15:50 Now I say this, brothers,{The word for "brothers" here and where context allows may also be correctly translated "brothers and sisters" or "siblings."} that flesh and blood can't inherit the Kingdom of God; neither does corruption inherit incorruption.

Now we have defined as God by two opposing force, darkness, and light, death at work in us, and the life which is the incorruptible life of Christ that is working in God's children

1 John 1:5 This is the message which we have heard from him and announce to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.

Death Must be Broken up by Life, incorruptible life, Christ life, not just any light or life to set creation free!

If death permeates all mankind then it is found in every drop of blood and thinking we have, which is an enemy of light, God's life. However, as preciously stated has darkness as a handicap we live in became a way of life we have no choice in. Just as yeast ferments the whole lump of dole, so does sin in us? We would thus need a new lump not touched by human thinking, and/or hands to set us free from our corruption of the entire power sin and corruption the human race into.

Isa. 6:5 Then I said, "Woe is me! For I am undone, because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for my eyes have seen the King, Yahweh of Armies!"
6:6 Then one of the seraphim flew to me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar.
6:7 He touched my mouth with it, and said, "Behold, this has touched your lips; and your iniquity is taken away, and your sin forgiven."

7.

In other words, every thought we have or can creates keeps us captive to death, to sins all its ways, we cannot remove sin from ourselves, we cannot remove yeast from lump of corrupted dole making it into a new lump! So no matter how brilliant a person might be the only knowledge they can have is digest by sin which corrupts the whole lump. We would indeed need to be feed intravenously, by a new mind not feed with the blood of our old body sold into death and bondage would we not?

Job 14:4 Who can bring a clean thing out of an unclean? Not one.

Isaiah 55:9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Jeremiah 10:23 Yahweh, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man who walks to direct his steps.

Satan the god of this world, and its system of things cannot live in life, that is, in the life of Christ, which is incorruptible. The two are opposed, one must destroy for the other to live fully in light. As we know there is no darkness, or a lie in Christ; so who of us can stand in the present of our Lord and Savior certainly not the prince of darkness, Satan the Devil.

1 John 5:19 We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies in the power of the evil one.

Satan rules in death, Satan rules in darkness created by him through the sin of Adam. Satan rules by the power of death working in each person born of Adam.

Knowledge of mankind cannot set creation free from corruption of sin. You see, the first lie was a false knowledge if posses by humans, Satan said it was the key to eternal life, but it was a grand lie.

8.
Life need was not just knowledge, knowledge does not produce life as Satan lied about. No! Life must come from incorruptible life of God that gave Adam life, before he had any knowledge of what was good or bad, from sin, not from God, God did not create Adam to know death, evil, he created Adam to know only good, God which was his life!

1Cor. 13:2 If I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but don't have love, I am nothing.

1 John 4:8 He who doesn't love doesn't know God, for God is love.

The Sinful Flesh a Humiliation to God's Glory

Christ time on earth was called a time of humiliation, why? Because in his flesh he carried the sins of death from others. They were not his sins, for God declared him sinless and perfect while on earth. Sin is a humiliation to God's glory that all sons he creates is without sin, death.

Revelation 1:5 and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To him who loves us, and washed us from our sins by his blood;

1 Peter 2:24 who his own self bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness; by whose stripes you were healed.

1 Peter 3:18 Because Christ also suffered for sins once, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring you to God; being put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit;

The Pattern

9.
God was in Christ on eath, in other words, God's incorruptible life was in Christ through the Holy Spirit. Thus a war ensued of life and death existed in one person, but why? For God's stated purpose, to break up the works of the Devil that have been interwoven upon the nations hearts and mind.

Gal.5:17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, that you may not do the things that you desire.

With the power of God in Christ, Christ in his flesh conquered the world of darkness created by works of Devil done from death to empower the nations. Christ defeated with the mind of God all of Satan power and lies found in death of sin. Now the greater works of Christ incorruptible life must go into his body to bring the death to nothing right down to every thought and fiber of evil and darkness causing death. This is the greater work Christ told us we would do, not in preaching, but in the suffering of life against death through the generation to come into existence.

2Pet.3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will be dissolved with fervent heat, and the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up. 3:11 Therefore since all these things will be destroyed like this, what kind of people ought you to be in holy living and godliness,

The Fire of Incorruptible Truth

To be in death, and to get out of death requires a resurrection from God's incorruptible life. But what if God allowed in his children death requiring a resurrection daily? In other words, just as his own Son Christ Jesus experienced on earth?

10.

Rom.8:36 Even as it is written, "For your sake we are killed all day long. We were accounted as sheep for the slaughter."{Psalm 44:22}
8:37 No, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.

1 Corinthians 4:9 For, I think that God has displayed us, the apostles, last of all, like men sentenced to death. For we are made a spectacle to the world, both to angels and men.

2 Corinthians 1:9 Yes, we ourselves have had the sentence of death within ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God who raises the dead,

2 Corinthians 1:10 who delivered us out of so great a death, and does deliver; on whom we have set our hope that he will also still deliver us;

That predestine and pattern work in time would undue any thought of death, bring it into captivity of Christ (mind), hence, setting the creation free of all corruption throughout all generations.

2Cor.10:3 For though we walk in the flesh, we don't wage war according to the flesh; 10:4 for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, 10:5 throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ; 10:6 and being in readiness to avenge all disobedience, when your obedience will be made full.

This then is the greater work Jesus spoke to his apostles that they were destine undue the works of the Devil upon Christ being put to death in the flesh and made alive in the Spirit. A work in the living temple of God, now Christ Jesus, unseen by human eyes of this world in death.
11.
John 14:12 Most certainly I tell you, he who believes in me, the works that I do, he will do also; and he will do greater works than these, because I am going to my Father.

This process is the pattern for the body of Christ under going the judgment of Christ, that is, found in his body under going humiliation in the flesh upon this earth. It is in humiliation the the real glory of God will be revealed to all the nations as the flesh created from sin is brought to nothing , and very power of Satan ends in controlling and corrupting people through the power of death by the first lie.

Heb.2:10 For it became him, for whom are all things, and through whom are all things, in bringing many children to glory, to make the author of their salvation perfect through sufferings.
2:11 For both he who sanctifies and those who are sanctified are all from one, for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brothers{The word for "brothers" here and where context allows may also be correctly translated "brothers and sisters" or "siblings."},

Heb.2:14 Since then the children have shared in flesh and blood, he also himself in like manner partook of the same, that through death he might bring to nothing him who had the power of death, that is, the devil. 2:15 and might deliver all of them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.
2:16 For most certainly, he doesn't give help to angels, but he gives help to the seed of Abraham.
2:17 Therefore he was obligated in all things to be made like his brothers, that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make atonement for the sins of the people. 2:18 For in that he himself has suffered being tempted, he is able to help those who are tempted.

12.

It is the Spirit that is life, not knowledge of our bibles, the bible helps us understand the life in us. Christ sets us free from sin by his incorruptible life working in us, so we have no sin in Christ, but we stay in death the old body causing death to work in us for the unspeakable glory of God ready to be revealed in the Son's of God.

Romans 8:18 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which will be revealed toward us.

Romans 8:19 For the creation waits with eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed.

1 Corinthians 2:10 But to us, God revealed them through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.

Ephesians 3:5 which in other generations was not made known to the children of men, as it has now been revealed to his holy apostles and prophets in the Spirit;

Colossians 3:4 When Christ, our life, is revealed, then you will also be revealed with him in glory.

We have a new lump of unleavened bread making us new, our new body, while we are attached to the old corruption that has no power over the eternal life of Christ in us. That is the fire, the test, the judgment. When we are dead in sin from the old body and it feels as real as death, and we can do nothing within human power, it takes Christ immortal life to resurrects us into God's power and wisdom (Christ Jesus life) to bring all such death to an end. Thus, like sheep we are lead to the slaughter, as Christ himself was in the judgment by fire, suffering until his body is glorify completely by God, from the humiliation brought upon God's perfect love through death at work in God's creation to all mankind.

13.
Isa.53:3 He was despised, and rejected by men; a man of suffering, and acquainted with disease. He was despised as one from whom men hide their face; and we didn't respect him.
53:4 Surely he has borne our sickness, and carried our suffering; yet we considered him plagued, struck by God, and afflicted.
53:5 But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed.

We have received are redemption once for all times in Christ, we need not repent daily for sin of the old flesh that have been accounted dead in Christ, cast into the very sea so God cannot and will not recall them in longer. That is how we are separated from sin, not by our works but by God's so we can have the mind of Christ and his life working in us at the sametime

Yes, we do appear plagued as Job did, ad yes we are the off scouring of this world. Yes! We do look foolish to false Christian's the last person they would looked to as God's people, yes!

Yes, we do, because we are in a time of humiliation that means in our flesh we are made to stumble, we are made to look plagued and even evil to those looking to religion to please God in the flesh. Yes in the power of death in Satan system of thing in the appearance of flesh being blessed by God upon this earth with position, power, wealth, and a prosperous life now.

We must endure in faith, and that is the faith of Christ for we are his body. In a time of humiliation, but knowing this flesh is momentary and lite compared to the incorruptible life of Christ in us. Soon death will be consumed by life.

We must remember the prize comes when the flesh is no more, the glory comes when the flesh is no more.

14.
All of Satan's world seeks glory now in the flesh that is why he has been so effective in using false religion to promote the beauty of the flesh, exulting its glory and blessings with the twisting of God's word the bible.

But if we are being saved with much difficulty how will those not under goin the fire of Christ immortal life make a showing? Let us be mindful of our great tribulation and suffering we must experience all the day's of our anointing this year at the memorial of Christ death.

Let us celebrate the death of Christ life, for in that life works in us, let us have complete understanding of the power and context we undergo so we can judge ourselves correctly before taking the emblems. Partaking is not a competition or a ladder to success, or a boasting in our flesh, it does nothing more that remind us soberly what is working in us because of death!

1Cor.11:16 But if any man seems to be contentious, we have no such custom, neither do God's assemblies. 11:17 But in giving you this command, I don't praise you, that you come together not for the better but for the worse. 11:18 For first of all, when you come together in the assembly, I hear that divisions exist among you, and I partly believe it.

11:20 When therefore you assemble yourselves together, it is not the Lord's supper that you eat. 11:21 For in your eating each one takes his own supper first. One is hungry, and another is drunken.
11:22 What, don't you have houses to eat and to drink in? Or do you despise God's assembly, and put them to shame who don't have? What shall I tell you? Shall I praise you? In this I don't praise you.
11:23 For I received from the Lord that which also I delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus on the night in which he was betrayed took bread.

15.
11:24 When he had given thanks, he broke it, and said, "Take, eat. This is my body, which is broken for you. Do this in memory of me."
11:25 In the same way he also took the cup, after supper, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink, in memory of me." 11:26 For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until he comes.
11:27 Therefore whoever eats this bread or drinks the Lord's cup in a manner unworthy of the Lord will be guilty of the body and the blood of the Lord. 11:28 But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of the bread, and drink of the cup. 11:29 For he who eats and drinks in an unworthy manner eats and drinks judgment to himself, if he doesn't discern the Lord's body. 11:30 For this cause many among you are weak and sickly, and not a few sleep.
11:31 For if we discerned ourselves, we wouldn't be judged.
11:32 But when we are judged, we are punished by the Lord, that we may not be condemned with the world. 11:33 Therefore, my brothers, when you come together to eat, wait one for another.
11:34 But if anyone is hungry, let him eat at home, lest your coming together be for judgment. The rest I will set in order whenever I come.
