The Prince of This World Has Nothing in Me!

John 14:30 I will no more speak much with you, for the prince of the world comes, and he has nothing in me.

Why would Christ uses the phraseology “has nothing in me”? Lets answer that question with a question? What should have been in Adam?

Well, Adam should have had “God in him”, not the Devil, correct? We humans define things in gray areas in this life because frankly that's where most of us live our lives, but not so with God.

Matt.5:37 But let your 'Yes' be 'Yes' and your 'No' be 'No.' Whatever is more than these is of the evil one.

The message God tells us Christian's, which we have heard from the beginning, is that, there is no darkness in the light (God is light) and that point is spoken about throughout all our bibles. Adam was light, and he became darkness when he sinned, what Adam did not do, was become light and darkness which is what most Christian's believe in the Christian faith today.

1 John 1:5 This is the message which we have heard from him and announce to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.

1.
God's life does not exist in the darkness, thus, there is only light with God, and only darkness for the Prince of this world Satan the Devil; the middle ground is the land of shadowy darkness where the demons lurk, and most of mankind in found today. Mankind is lead and mislead by the power of demons using human philosophy and wisdom of this world (false religion) which wisdom is foolishness to the God who is only light!

James.1:16 Don't be deceived, my beloved brothers. 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow. 1:18 Of his own will he brought us forth by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of first fruits of his creatures.

1 Corinthians 1:17 For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the Good News--not in wisdom of words, so that the cross of Christ wouldn't be made void.

1 Corinthians 1:21 For seeing that in the wisdom of God, the world through its wisdom didn't know God, it was God's good pleasure through the foolishness of the preaching to save those who believe.

We must remember when reading our bibles that Christ is the last Adam who while on earth had God “in him”, he had only light of God in him, he did not have both light and darkness in him because such a condition does not exist with God who is only light; light and darkness exist in mankind's own hearts imagination because he has sin. (Christ was made into the likeness of sin but it was not his sin he carried but the sins of others.)

1 Corinthians 15:22 For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive.
2.

1 Corinthians 15:45 So also it is written, "The first man, Adam, became a living soul."{Genesis 2:7} The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.

John.17:21 that they may all be one; even as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be one in us; that the world may believe that you sent me.

Proverbs 20:9 Who can say, "I have made my heart pure. I am clean and without sin?"

Subsequently, because of man's imagination created from sin they cannot believe or understand that one cannot have light in them, like Christ did by simply reading their bibles alone, or attending some religious meeting.

The light Christ had was because he was sinless, that is, he had no darkness of sin in him, he was fully light, while sinner are fully darkness, just as Adam became fully darkness once he sinned. It is the by the indwelling of God that gave both Christ and Adam the light, not knowledge, or by writings, and/or wisdom of this world, nor ancient scrolls their light came down from above in them from God Spirit indwelling them.

John 8:12 Again, therefore, Jesus spoke to them, saying, "I am the light of the world.{Isaiah 60:1} He who follows me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the light of life."

1 John 3:6 Whoever remains in him doesn't sin. Whoever sins hasn't seen him, neither knows him.

One cannot know God by sin, sin is darkness!

3.

That is the message God stated from the beginning of mankind's fall into sin. Christ then became the light of the world, because obviously, the world was full of darkness, for all had sinned and fell short of God's sinless glory that Christ had in full measure as the light to this world. No other human's in the history of mankind was the light of the world, for all sinned and fall short of God's glory!

1 John 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

Romans 3:23 for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God;

Thus, it is paramount that we understand when Christ stated that the prince of this world was not in him, that his phraseology is the same that he taught to his disciples who would soon experience light in themselves; Christ indwelling them after the Holy Spirit was poured out. Furthermore, Christ made this point clear in his teachings, as will as did his apostles after they had received Holy Spirit and Christ life then indwelt them.

Why is that thought so important when most Christian's almost hate the usage of Christ dwelling in them to the point of being afraid to use it?

Matthew 5:14 You are the light of the world. A city located on a hill can't be hidden.

It is most important because the disciples of Christ became the light of the world themselves. Moreover, it of great importance that we understand how that happen? Remembering why no person prior to Christ was called the light of the world!

God had declared those “in Christ” sinnless

4.

It was by that declaration of sinlessness that allowed Christ righteous life to indwell, and they be in Christ as his life. Their was different that in the past before Christ it did not come from personally study of God’s law, or education, position those things allowed of a shadow of God’s light but not the reality of light in them because God had removed their sin and its judgment by Christ life in them.

Hence, everything outside of Christ life in them would be darkness misleading them into the darkness of the world which they had be delivered out of by the life of Christ indwelling them!

1Cor.1:30 But of him, you are in Christ Jesus, who was made to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption:

Ephesians 3:17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; to the end that you, being rooted and grounded in love,

Yes, God's righteousness now in Christ Jesus is what would makes them sinless in God's judgment of them, and make light to this world, light from above and not from man that cannot direct their steps. In that condition the Prince of this world has no hold on Christ, or his followers, just as he didn't in Christ because evil cannot dwell in the light of God in Christ in the very present of righteousness.

James.1:16 Don't be deceived, my beloved brothers.
1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow.

Philippians 3:9 and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own, that which is of the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith;
5.
Philippians 1:11 being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.

Yes, it is true the Prince of this world was defeated because he could not get into Christ, God's righteousness would not allow for it, (corruption cannot touch incorruption) and that is true of all of Christ brothers and sisters making up the body of Christ.

John 16:11 about judgment, because the prince of this world has been judged.

That in no way means they are not tested beyond human power by the wicked spirit force in heavenly places, but they cannot be touched in the place of God, that is, Christ indwelling, for two reason. 1. Christ is incorruptible light, not touchable by darkness of sin, (God's children have that seed in them) and 2. God clears them once for all times by Christ righteousness from judgment of sin, and that is why they must stay in grace and refuse works of law.

2 Corinthians 4:7 But we have this treasure in clay vessels, that the exceeding greatness of the power may be of God, and not from ourselves.

Rom. 8:33 Who could bring a charge against God's chosen ones? It is God who justifies. 8:34 Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, yes rather, who was raised from the dead, who is at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.

Romans 6:6 knowing this, that our old man was crucified with him, that the body of sin might be done away with, so that we would no longer be in bondage to sin.

1 John 3:9 Whoever is born of God doesn't commit sin, because his seed remains in him; and he can't sin, because he is born of God.
6.
Court finished decision handed down this group sins are acquitted once for all time by God himself.

No one on earth or in heaven can file a legitimate accusation against God's chosen ones, and make it stick, nothing sticks to Christ righteousness which they are; God's children are in Christ and Christ is in them as his personal body members cherished and loved by Christ righteousness.

The wicked one, Satan and his wicked spirit hordes never stop filing accusation against God's chosen one just as he did to Christ while on earth, but he is defeated, although he has success on earth in his own dominion over the judgments of the flesh (death) those living in sin, he has no hold on God's children in heaven where they are hidden ready to be revealed when Christ is revealed in his righteousness. That death of sin no longer exist in Christ body members (They are considered spirit son's of God not fleshly son's of God, their flesh is gone in Christ)

Rom.8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don't walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.{NU omits "who don't walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit"}
8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death.
8:3 For what the law couldn't do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God did, sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh;
8:4 that the ordinance of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
8:5 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.
8:6 For the mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace;
7.
8:7 because the mind of the flesh is hostile towards God; for it is not subject to God's law, neither indeed can it be.
8:8 Those who are in the flesh can't please God.
8:9 But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if it is so that the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if any man doesn't have the Spirit of Christ, he is not his.

Revelation 12:10 I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, "Now is come the salvation, the power, and the Kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Christ; for the accuser of our brothers has been thrown down, who accuses them before our God day and night.

Revelation 12:17 The dragon grew angry with the woman, and went away to make war with the rest of her seed, who keep God's commandments and hold Jesus' testimony.

We must never be fooled thinking light dwells with darkness, we must come to know in our hearts that a corrupt tree, that is, one of darkness can't produce good fruit of light, we must never be fooled into thinking that a spring can yield both fresh water and salt water from the same source. We must never be fooled that darkness is light, and God dwells in the shadowy places.

Matt. 7:16 By their fruits you will know them. Do you gather grapes from thorns, or figs from thistles? 7:17 Even so, every good tree produces good fruit; but the corrupt tree produces evil fruit.
7:18 A good tree can't produce evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree produce good fruit.

James. 3:11 Does a spring send out from the same opening fresh and bitter water? 3:12 Can a fig tree, my brothers, yield olives, or a vine figs? Thus no spring yields both salt water and fresh water.

8.

Let us come to know that if the light in us is darkness then that darkness is in our whole body its not some darkness and some light! Let none of be fooled thinking physical light and darkness is the incorruptible sinless light in God and Christ, who have no darkness or evil of sin in them, they are perfect light without a veneration of darkness.

Luke 11:34 The lamp of the body is the eye. Therefore when your eye is good, your whole body is also full of light; but when it is evil, your body also is full of darkness.
