Speculation

Definitions of speculation on the Web: guess: a message expressing an opinion based on incomplete evidence a hypothesis that has been formed by speculating or conjecturing (usually with little hard evidence); "speculations about the outcome of the election"; "he dismissed it as mere conjecture"

Why talk about the subject of speculation among Christian's? Speculation is wide spread among Christians since Christ was upon earth, many have speculated time and again about Christ coming, only to have such speculation fail. There have been billions mislead by someone personal faulty speculation over bible verses. Nations have march off into war over the speculation of world leaders.

So speculation is a very serious subject for those seeking truth of God and his promises.

1 John 2:21 I have not written to you because you don't know the truth, but because you know it, and because no lie is of the truth.

Does God Speculate?

This is a simple question for any serious bible students, we needs to ask ourselves, does God speculate? No! God does not speculate, the idea of speculation is not of God, God is the truth, and he tells the truth he does not speculate with our eternal life, or ask us to put faith in some theory or idea we conjure up in our mind.

1 John 4:6 We are of God. He who knows God listens to us. He who is not of God doesn't listen to us. By this we know the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

1 Thessalonians 2:13 For this cause we also thank God without ceasing, that, when you received from us the word of the message of God, you accepted it not as the word of men, but, as it is in truth, the word of God, which also works in you who believe.

Speculation comes from human minds under sin, it is a practice of people corrupted in mind that want some excitement to explain something that hard to accept as a human.

2 Timothy 3:7 always learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

For example, there is no evil with God there is only good from God, a simple truth. Speculation goes on and on over this very subject. Because human under sin cannot understand how God is good and no evil is with him?

James 1:16 Don't be deceived, my beloved brothers. 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow.

In other words, speculation is often for Christian's a humanization of God into a man's thinking under sin, like us. Now that is offensive to some, but it is nonetheless true. Speculation about bible truth's is most often about making God more human so we imputed our personal feelings and thoughts into God. Human normally speculate over mysteries, and particularly over bible mystery, such as God is love. How do we explain something so great? We speculated about our own love, or some human that has shown us love, we than impute these thoughts and feeling into God. But none of us love like God's love, so our speculation when compared to truth comes up short!

Romans 3:23 for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God;

Subsequently, for many have been sorely disappointed when prayers have not been answered, or other Christian's do not meet their idea of love or bible prophecy, and prediction. Hardly do these disappointed ones place the blame upon faulty speculation which was never found in their bibles in the first place instead blaming others and even God!

Romans 1:23 and traded the glory of the incorruptible God for the likeness of an image of corruptible man, and of birds, and four-footed animals, and creeping things.

1Cor. 13:4 Love is patient and is kind; love doesn't envy. Love doesn't brag, is not proud, 13:5 doesn't behave itself inappropriately, doesn't seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil;
13:6 doesn't rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; 13:7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 13:8 Love never fails.

1 John 4:16 We know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and he who remains in love remains in God, and God remains in him.

Does Christ Speculate?

John 14:6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.

God does not speculate, but did Christ speculate to his disciples upon earth? Did he talk to them about things they could not verify? Did he teach them to speculate about the written word of God? Did he teaches them to speculate about prophets of old, what they might have said and been thinking not recorded in the written word of God? Did Christ build such speculation into the holy written word of God that we as Christian's are to test such speculation against?

John 16:13 However when he, the Spirit of truth, has come, he will guide you into all truth, for he will not speak from himself; but whatever he hears, he will speak. He will declare to you things that are coming.

John 17:17 Sanctify them in your truth. Your word is truth.{Psalm 119:142}

Certainly there could have been no better person to fill in the piece of Davids personality, or Adam, and Eve's real personality, but not one word from Christ about such personal matters, not one word of speculation about anyone in the bible during his life time on earth.

John 19:35 He who has seen has testified, and his testimony is true. He knows that he tells the truth, that you may believe.

But what he did say was: “It is written!” He did this to refute false teachings, or any speculation, what he did not say; "this is a good theory, lets speculated on it, humanizing the prophets of old". No! Christ did not speculate about any bible character. He told the truth about them, nor did he in the slightest instant command Christian's to speculate about things not written. Telling his disciples: “Lets get creative, make it happen with your gifted colorful imagination, stretch it, put yourself into the Garden of Eden where you can hear and see Adam getting mad at Eve for not giving him enough sex!”

Titus 1:14 not paying attention to Jewish fables and commandments of men who turn away from the truth.

2 Peter 1:16 For we did not follow cunningly devised fables, when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we were eyewitnesses of his majesty.

No! Christ would not speak something that was not true, so he did not speculate being he is the Truth, nor commanded his disciples to speculated over things not written.

Luke 24:44 He said to them, "This is what I told you, while I was still with you, that all things which are written in the law of Moses, the prophets, and the psalms, concerning me must be fulfilled."

Luke 24:46 He said to them, "Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day,

Luke 3:4 As it is written in the book of the words of Isaiah the prophet, "The voice of one crying in the wilderness, 'Make ready the way of the Lord. Make his paths straight.

Luke 4:4 Jesus answered him, saying, "It is written, 'Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.'"{Deuteronomy 8:3}

Luke 4:8 Jesus answered him, "Get behind me Satan! For it is written, 'You shall worship the Lord your God, and you shall serve him only.'"{Deuteronomy 6:13}

Did the Angels Speculate?

Once again in the few instants angels talked to man they spoke only the truth God gave them to speak, not one theory, or personal speculation about future events, or personality of God's people in bible history to humanizes them and God. Not an unholy word came out of their mouth, but unfortunately, not so with human under sin, and corruption of the fleshly mind. They speak many words, steering up the pot of contention just to prove a point based upon some personal speculation.

James 3:3 Indeed, we put bits into the horses' mouths so that they may obey us, and we guide their whole body. 3:4 Behold, the ships also, though they are so big and are driven by fierce winds, are yet guided by a very small rudder, wherever the pilot desires. 3:5 So the tongue is also a little member, and boasts great things. See how a small fire can spread to a large forest! 3:6 And the tongue is a fire. The world of iniquity among our members is the tongue, which defiles the whole body, and sets on fire the course of nature, and is set on fire by Gehenna.{or, Hell}

Did The Apostles Speculate?

2 Corinthians 13:8 For we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth.

Actually before their anointing some did, but each and every time its was recorded those speculation were wrong. In fact, Christ corrected Peters faulty speculation that he would not have to suffer. Christ pointedly rebuked Peters corrupted mind by saying his thoughts were from Satan the Devil, and not of God!

Matthew 16:23 But he turned, and said to Peter, "Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me, for you are not setting your mind on the things of God, but on the things of men."

The apostles all learned one thing, not to trust their sinful nature and its need for speculation. So no the apostles of Christ did not speculate thinking it might help others understand God's better than the written word under the power of Holy Spirit. Nor did they teach any of those listening to their teachings to practice speculation. In fact, they commanded against such unrighteousness thinking.

2 Corinthians 1:12 For our boasting is this: the testimony of our conscience, that in holiness and sincerity of God, not in fleshly wisdom but in the grace of God we behaved ourselves in the world, and more abundantly toward you.

Colossians 2:18 Let no one rob you of your prize by a voluntary humility and worshipping of the angels, dwelling in the things which he has not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind.

Why Speculation is so Corrupting?

Exodus 13:7 Unleavened bread shall be eaten throughout the seven days; and no leavened bread shall be seen with you, neither shall there be yeast seen with you, in all your borders.

1 Corinthians 5:7 Purge out the old yeast, that you may be a new lump, even as you are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, has been sacrificed in our place.

1 Corinthians 5:8 Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old yeast, neither with the yeast of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

Sin is corruption to God's righteousness, there is no middle ground, one cannot mix a little corruption into God's incorruptibility, and better understand God, or his word, it is impossible. God cannot reside with a lie, or darkness. Speculation is not based upon real evidence no matter how logical its sounds, it lacks the most important thing the witness of two or more, which verifies it as truth. Unrighteousness, is to talk about past events in the bible, speculating about them, making assumption. and teaching such speculation as truth on the same level as inspired scriptures which are vital to eternal life. Unrighteousness is that we were not personally there to witnesses actions for or against. Jehovah's God is a God of justice, he his our judge, and law giver, we should not make such unfounded accusation based upon speculation when we did not personally witness the actions of others at the time, thinking God will be pleased with such unfounded claims! God has recorded for us what he wants us to know about him and his people by His mouth that cannot lie!

Romans 2:19 and are confident that you yourself are a guide of the blind, a light to those who are in darkness,

1 John 1:5 This is the message which we have heard from him and announce to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.

1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ, his Son, cleanses us from all sin.

1 Timothy 6:16 who alone has immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light; whom no man has seen, nor can see: to whom be honor and eternal power. Amen.

Corruption was a seed planted in the Garden of Eden by Eves failure to talk to her head. She rather listen to untruth of an evil mind of Satan wanting worship of God. She speculated that she could be a god and not die, she thought she needed no direction from Adam, or God. She was deceived by her own motives, she than ask Adam to go along with her sin. She had every bit of truth God was offering her in proper headship under Adams instruction directly from God, but it was not enough for her.

1 Corinthians 11:3 But I would have you know that the head of every man is Christ, and the head of the woman is the man, and the head of Christ is God.

This seed of corruption has grown into Satan system of things a system love by the world in unrighteousness. Anything from this world is not of God, nor is He pleased by it or tempt with a little leaven of sin for excitement through untruths as are humans under the power of sin in their flesh.

James 1:15 Then the lust, when it has conceived, bears sin; and the sin, when it is full grown, brings forth death.

1 Corinthians 8:12 Thus, sinning against the brothers, and wounding their conscience when it is weak, you sin against Christ.

Romans 5:12 Therefore, as sin entered into the world through one man, and death through sin; and so death passed to all men, because all sinned.

So when we plant a little corruption from speculation it grows much faster than truth, it spreads like weeds well fertilized and watered by a whole unrighteous world we live in. Although, we might get the praise of men, we still end up in death by its unrighteous fruitage produced by fleshly minded speculations.

1 Peter 2:2 as newborn babies, long for the pure milk of the Word, that you may grow thereby.

Philippians 4:8 Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things.

2 Corinthians 11:2 For I am jealous over you with a godly jealousy. For I married you to one husband, that I might present you as a pure virgin to Christ.

What Eve thought was innocent has taken God thousands of painful years to undo at the cost of his people, and the blood of his son with tears. There is no such thing as an innocent lie, as Eve found out. There is no such things as a little leaven which does not matter when it is put into unleavened bread; don't be fooled it will corrupt the whole lump.

Ephesians 4:29 Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for building up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear.

Matthew 12:33 "Either make the tree good, and its fruit good, or make the tree corrupt, and its fruit corrupt; for the tree is known by its fruit.

1 Corinthians 5:6 Your boasting is not good. Don't you know that a little yeast leavens the whole lump?

Speaking Truth

Most people become highly offend when called a liar, some become violent even the most vile liar hates being called a liar. Such is Satan own personality when speculating that humans could be like God, and would not die, which was not based upon truth, and proven to be a lie! Moreover, when a liar is exposed by the truth the liar will at all cost destroy the messenger. Satan has with great wrath tried since Adam and Eve fall into sin to destroy anyone not agreeing with his lie. In Satan world it perfectly normal operating procedure to form theories, and speculate about all matters. What Satan hates is when someone exposes such conduct as unrighteousness, and not being of God, which lies will only lead into more lies, and greater darkness denying the truth of God.

2 Corinthians 2:11 that no advantage may be gained over us by Satan; for we are not ignorant of his schemes.

Luke 4:8 Jesus answered him, "Get behind me Satan! For it is written, 'You shall worship the Lord your God, and you shall serve him only.'"{Deuteronomy 6:13}

2 Corinthians 4:4 in whom the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the Good News of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn on them.

Subsequently, because all Christian's stand on the foundation of truth, that is, Christ Jesus who is the truth, and is our truth, we must not fall victim to speculation within God's written word. The two are diametrically opposed to each others, as light is to darkness. We have been elevated into the Christ whom is seated above where no lie exist, hence, than there is no need for us to speculate. Christian's have already arrived at truth, they have put on the Christ, the truth, and are filled with his life of truth. They are feed the truth, not speculation, they are not trying to make God more human, that is, like us so he can become more understanding of our unrighteousness in our feelings of hates, angers, sinful lust, and disappointments. A person praying to this type of god can only be praying to their own unrighteous heart or to the god of this system of things whom has spent thousands of years making the Almighty God YHWH into a idol of mankind creation and needs for ever unrighteous work of the flesh.

Isaiah 35:8 A highway will be there, a road, and it will be called The Holy Way. The unclean shall not pass over it, but it will be for those who walk in the Way. Wicked fools will not go there.

Isaiah 48:17 Thus says Yahweh, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: I am Yahweh your God, who teaches you to profit, who leads you by the way that you should go.

Isaiah 58:13 If you turn away your foot from the Sabbath, from doing your pleasure on my holy day; and call the Sabbath a delight, [and] the holy of Yahweh honorable; and shall honor it, not doing your own ways, nor finding your own pleasure, nor speaking [your own] words:

Isaiah 55:8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, says Yahweh.

God will not come down into sin, to please mankind. Men are not the center, God is the center, he is the King and we are blessed being his servants. This truth should be in each one of God's children, if we eclipse God for self-glory, that is, making a god of our feelings, we are a fool. Moreover, if we teach such human wisdom it is foolishness. Moreover, we become a tool to mislead others into nothing more than worldly self-center thinking, the same thinking Eve had in putting her own needs above everything God created for her out of love.

1 Timothy 6:4 he is conceited, knowing nothing, but obsessed with arguments, disputes, and word battles, from which come envy, strife, reviling, evil suspicions.

The Bread of Life

Here is a hard facts that immature Christian's don't like hearing, the unleavened bread from above, that is, Christ Jesus is not tasty to the pallet. Without yeast most people would never each bread again. That is also true of the truth, it does not taste like happy food the world so loves. Most push it aside, off their plates because it does not excited the needs of our flesh. The world, and immature Christians look for fillers to make the unleavened bread of Christ more palatable, sweets, rich food, spices, and the such, but one cannot be feed by the Christ with such unrighteous fillers that are only a corruption to the truth.

Colossians 2:8 Be careful that you don't let anyone rob you through his philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the elements of the world, and not after Christ.

Galatians 6:14 But far be it from me to boast, except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.

1 John 2:15 Don't love the world, neither the things that are in the world. If anyone loves the world, the Father's love isn't in him.

The fleshly mind, which is a mind created by sin, puts yeast into the truth of Christ Jesus, to sustain a fleshly mind for life here on earth under the laws of sin, but its nothing more than corruption to the truth, and the life of Christ, which life comes from feeding on the bread of life without yeast or laws of sin.

Let us never be fooled, the war to put yeast into the truth is raging, there are appeals to every emotion one can have to eat junk food, people will kill a real Christian's to get their powerful drug of yeast, why yeast? Because when a fleshly mind eats truth it produce yeast teachings it must. Because the truth does not come from us, it comes from Christ, and his mind, we are feed on his righteous mind, and not our mind. The fleshly mind cannot understand truth it rejects it as a lie. But the fleshly mind is a deceived mind because when reading God's word the bible it thinks it has a right, because stealing this right as Eve did it deceives itself it has the truth by reading and studying the bible, but it does not have the Christ, the unleavened bread from above. It has a portion of truth written by the Word of God, Christ, but it does not have the truth, the life of Christ indwelling them, and feeding them unleavened bread, that is, the truth. Teh flesh mind sees no harm in adding yeast untruth to God's word, or mixing some truth with speculation because it thinks itself a god, having a right as god to changes God's written word.

2 John 1:9 Whoever transgresses and doesn't remain in the teaching of Christ, doesn't have God. He who remains in the teaching, the same has both the Father and the Son.

1 Peter 4:11 If anyone speaks, let it be as it were the very words of God. If anyone serves, let it be as of the strength which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.

1 Peter 2:5 You also, as living stones, are built up as a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

Ephesians 2:20 being built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the chief cornerstone;

Hence, when this is point up the flesh becomes violent because you have attack its god, the god giving it life by yeast bread, it hates the truth because it does nothing for its god, it does not feed the fleshly mind, or satisfy the fleshly minds desire for excitement, and tasty yeast bread. Just as Satan and those working for him attack the Spirit lead children of God, because they have the light in them, which is not their own light, but Christ indwelling them, so goes the flesh as it lust against the Spirit of God.

Galatians 4:29 But as then, he who was born according to the flesh persecuted him who was born according to the Spirit, so also it is now.

Misleading of the Chosen Ones

Speculation is the fodder of the yeast mind, it is the food it feeds upon making all things man, humanizing God into a sinful man with desires like ours so one does not feel condemned, instead of making them come up to a very high mountain of God it stays with the faulty thinking of the worlds darkness. Speculation is the food of false gods, why? If everyone is a god (special/equal), than all have as much right to give the light of God too others from their own feelings and thoughts, hence, speculation gives a person information God has not authorized as special above others whom wait upon God's directions. So anyone discrediting this god will be killed some how, by slander, by a viscous verbal attacks, or physically killed, they will meet with a person who will take theor right to life, because they are a god. Entire nations have been destroyed by men making themselves into a god, that is, above others, as more enlighten, there is no descent against a god whom has made themselves into God or at least equal human must come under them as not equal in knowledge of needs. Those thinking they are especially chosen of God are the most vulnerable, and dangerous because they feel they have been chosen giving them the right to kill if necessary those not agreeing with their interpretation of God's words bible.

Here than is the truth for Christian's in Christ; we are warned that a war of lies would be let loose by Satan in the last days to mislead the nations and if possible God's chosen ones, if that were possible? This war of propaganda is not based upon truth, it based up people rights to say and teach what they want, because they account themselves worthy to do so. But the only true faithful and discreet Slave is Christ Jesus that taught only what His Father told him to teach. Without lies, or speculation. He did not water down his Father personality, but upheld it in truth so that all must learn to worship God, and not be equal too God, may we do the same.

Philip.2:3 doing nothing through rivalry or through conceit, but in humility, each counting others better than himself; 2:4 each of you not just looking to his own things, but each of you also to the things of others. 2:5 Have this in your mind, which was also in Christ Jesus, 2:6 who, existing in the form of God, didn't consider equality with God a thing to be grasped,
2:7 but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in the likeness of men. 2:8 And being found in human form, he humbled himself, becoming obedient to death, yes, the death of the cross. 2:9 Therefore God also highly exalted him, and gave to him the name which is above every name; 2:10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth, 2:11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. 2:12 So then, my beloved, even as you have always obeyed, not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. 2:13 For it is God who works in you both to will and to work, for his good pleasure. 2:14 Do all things without murmurings and disputes, 2:15 that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you are seen as lights in the world, 2:16 holding up the word of life; that I may have something to boast in the day of Christ, that I didn't run in vain nor labor in vain.
