HOW THE INWARD MAN IS RENEWED?

2 Corinthians 4:16 Therefore we don't faint, but though our outward man is decaying, yet our inward man is renewed day by day.

What is the inward person that the apostle Paul speak to here? And why is that an important question for our world today?

Look, listen, and see, the world has gone mad with insecurities that are compensated by a make believe outward appearance of raw-bone-tough!

Luke 6:45 The good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings out that which is good, and the evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings out that which is evil, for out of the abundance of the heart, his mouth speaks.

Unreality rules the heart of human with insecurity creating a go to world of sheer destruction and evil. Where human’s over come with fear and death believe jumping, kicking, shooting, thousands of people, cutting themselves open removing bullets with unstoppable determination allays their fears.
Genesis 6:5 Yahweh saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

Genesis 6:6 Yahweh was sorry that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him in his heart.

It is that unreality promoted by multi-trillion dollar entertainment sector in all societies, teaching us visible graphic actions in the most vile destructive nature conquers our insecurities and fears; actions of murdering our enemies in brutal inhuman way is mortally good a path to paradise.

James 1:26 If anyone among you thinks himself to be religious while he doesn't bridle his tongue, but deceives his heart, this man's religion is worthless.

James 3:14 But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your heart, don't boast and don't lie against the truth.

Proving that the inward man is very weak when it must be watered by human blood and brains inked on harden tattoo bodies. Weak and fearful of the things coming upon our earth, flesh feeling helpless, projecting humans into imaginary unkillable gods so we can take a drugged up narcissistic flight into the mentally ill land of total unreality!

Matthew 12:34 You offspring of vipers, how can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks.

Why is the inward man stronger than the put on cold calculated tough talking for the outward man?

It is because one is the truth, while the other is a decaying liar! Acting, is a lie that will be exposed by truth (light) Acting to protect ourselves make the strength of our moral character weak and cowardly it is an illusion when tested it fades and disappears into shame and humiliation where is was created from fear of facing the truth!

Isa.40:6 The voice of one saying, "Cry!" One said, "What shall I cry?" "All flesh is like grass, and all its glory is like the flower of the field.
40:7 The grass withers, the flower fades, because Yahweh's breath blows on it. Surely the people are like grass.
40:8 The grass withers, the flower fades; but the word of our God stands forever."

Comparing, measuring our outward appearance by the outward appearance of others is an illusion that does not exist in Christ.

To measure ourselves against a decaying dying outward appearance of another person is to measure death against death, not life against life. It may seem impressive to the simply minded that think gaining another breath of life for a few short years is worth the comparison of the eternity of the inward person trading it for the decaying flesh of the outward person.

The book of Psalms

Chapter 90

90:1 <<A Prayer by Moses, the man of God.>> Lord, you have been our dwelling place for all generations.
90:2 Before the mountains were brought forth, before you had formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, you are God.
90:3 You turn man to destruction, saying, "Return, you children of men."
90:4 For a thousand years in your sight are just like yesterday when it is past, like a watch in the night.
90:5 You sweep them away as they sleep. In the morning they sprout like new grass.
90:6 In the morning it sprouts and springs up. By evening, it is withered and dry.
90:7 For we are consumed in your anger. We are troubled in your wrath.
90:8 You have set our iniquities before you, our secret sins in the light of your presence.
90:9 For all our days have passed away in your wrath. We bring our years to an end as a sigh.
90:10 The days of our years are seventy, or even by reason of strength eighty years; yet their pride is but labor and sorrow, for it passes quickly, and we fly away.
90:11 Who knows the power of your anger, your wrath according to the fear that is due to you?
90:12 So teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.

But the truth is, the cowardly fear of death created the first lie of those projecting themselves by projecting fearlessness into the outward person while they themselves are a product of the same old lie perpetuated that humans are gods by Satan the Devil.

They are not gods, and they are not fearless and that is the reason they created an appearance of evil to protect themselves from the fear of dying!

Psalms 119:120 My flesh trembles for fear of you. I am afraid of your judgments

Isaiah 66:16 For by fire will Yahweh execute judgment, and by his sword, on all flesh; and the slain of Yahweh shall be many.

WHAT IS THE INWARD PERSON?

Here is where make believe Christian’s go wrong, what is a make-believe Christian?

Christ said they are weeds, not the real things, the real thing are wheat God had planted by his own hand. The wheat have and inward person, not themselves, are you surprised?

That is right, the wheat are created by God, not of themselves, they are a new creation planted, cultivated, watered and feed by God’s Holy Spirit, not the decaying flesh of the outward man.

Matt.13:24 He set another parable before them, saying, "The Kingdom of Heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field,
13:25 but while people slept, his enemy came and sowed darnel weeds{darnel is a weed grass (probably bearded darnel or lolium temulentum) that looks very much like wheat until it is mature, when the difference becomes very apparent.} also among the wheat, and went away.
13:26 But when the blade sprang up and brought forth fruit, then the darnel weeds appeared also.
13:27 The servants of the householder came and said to him, 'Sir, didn't you sow good seed in your field? Where did this darnel come from?'
13:28 "He said to them, 'An enemy has done this.' "The servants asked him, 'Do you want us to go and gather them up?'
13:29 "But he said, 'No, lest perhaps while you gather up the darnel weeds, you root up the wheat with them.
13:30 Let both grow together until the harvest, and in the harvest time I will tell the reapers, "First, gather up the darnel weeds, and bind them in bundles to burn them; but gather the wheat into my barn."'"

The value of the outward person to God is dead, it has no merit in it because it is corrupted by sin, from the first lie. That means the inward man, Christ Jesus, is not reforming the outward man into a new creation, but why not?

John 3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh. That which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

Because God does not reform sin like the foolish prideful outward person thinks they can by toughness for the destruction of their enemy. That thinking is of wicked spirit forces who know only war, fear, pain, sorrow and destruction.

John 6:63 It is the spirit who gives life. The flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and are life.

Romans 2:28 For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, neither is that circumcision which is outward in the flesh;

God stated that corruption cannot inherit his Kingdom because corruption cannot be incorruptible. It already corrupted. That is why the flesh must die, must be put to death in Christ Jesus. Once it dead to God makes us a new creation, which is, a new mind not of our old flesh but new mind, Christ Jesus mind, and that is why we are under the headship of Christ we are his body members a total new creation nothing old of this creation under sin and death. Christ Jesus who is now the incorruptible Spirit person in heaven our eternal Father.

Romans 6:19 I speak in human terms because of the weakness of your flesh, for as you presented your members as servants to uncleanness and to wickedness upon wickedness, even so now present your members as servants to righteousness for sanctification.

Romans 7:5 For when we were in the flesh, the sinful passions which were through the law, worked in our members to bring forth fruit to death.

Romans 7:18 For I know that in me, that is, in my flesh, dwells no good thing. For desire is present with me, but I don't find it doing that which is good.

Weed, make-believe Christian’s act like they have the mind of Christ Jesus, but they have the old mind of their own body trained with Christ Jesus words while on earth. They are not a new creation they are the old creation created by the will of their fleshly mind and thoughts disciplined by laws of the bible. They draw on the inward person which they have created, subsequently that being themselves. In order to do that they must have physical objects that gives them courage. Uniforms, tough talk, tattoos, laws, position, perfect bodies, something to strengthen their flesh to conquer fear.

John.1:11 He came to his own, and those who were his own didn't receive him.
1:12 But as many as received him, to them he gave the right to become God's children, to those who believe in his name:
1:13 who were born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

Destruction and misery is in all their ways they do not know the peace of God because Christ does not indwell them as a new creation. They must have heroes in the flesh to give them faith in human power, not realizing they are being misled by wicked spirit forces that build up false hope in weak decaying flesh that rejects and rebels against the very Spirit of God.

Rom.3:10 As it is written, "There is no one righteous; no, not one.
3:11 There is no one who understands. There is no one who seeks after God.
3:12 They have all turned aside. They have together become unprofitable. There is no one who does good, no, not, so much as one."{Psalms 14:1-3; 53:1-3; Ecclesiastes 7:20}
3:13 "Their throat is an open tomb. With their tongues they have used deceit."{Psalm 5:9} "The poison of vipers is under their lips;"{Psalm 140:3}
3:14 "Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness."{Psalm 10:7}
3:15 "Their feet are swift to shed blood.
3:16 Destruction and misery are in their ways.
3:17 The way of peace, they haven't known."{Isaiah 59:7-8}
3:18 "There is no fear of God before their eyes."{Psalm 36:1}
3:19 Now we know that whatever things the law says, it speaks to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be closed, and all the world may be brought under the judgment of God.
3:20 Because by the works of the law, no flesh will be justified in his sight. For through the law comes the knowledge of sin.

As we march to the end of this world the soul of human will be emptied into all things outward, into appearance false power of a decaying dying flesh blinding themselves to all truth of God, they will presumptuously, be led into a war with God himself thinking they can stand in a false lie of outward appearance intimating Christ Jesus as he is revealed from heaven as the truth of God!

Revelation 16:14 for they are spirits of demons, performing signs; which go forth to the kings of the whole inhabited earth, to gather them together for the war of that great day of God, the Almighty.

Zechariah 2:13 Be silent, all flesh, before Yahweh; for he has roused himself from his holy habitation!"

Zechariah 14:12 This will be the plague with which Yahweh will strike all the peoples who have warred against Jerusalem: their flesh will consume away while they stand on their feet, and their eyes will consume away in their sockets, and their tongue will consume away in their mouth.

Revelation 17:16 The ten horns which you saw, and the beast, these will hate the prostitute, and will make her desolate, and will make her naked, and will eat her flesh, and will burn her utterly with fire.

Revelation 19:18 that you may eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of captains, the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses and of those who sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and slave, and small and great."

Revelation 19:21 The rest were killed with the sword of him who sat on the horse, the sword which came forth out of his mouth. All the birds were filled with their flesh.

Revelation 21:1 I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth have passed away, and the sea is no more.

Revelation 21:2 I saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, made ready like a bride adorned for her husband.

Revelation 21:5 He who sits on the throne said, "Behold, I am making all things new." He said, "Write, for these words of God are faithful and true."

40:28 Haven't you known? Haven't you heard? The everlasting God, Yahweh, The Creator of the ends of the earth, doesn't faint. He isn't weary. His understanding is unsearchable.
40:29 He gives power to the weak. He increases the strength of him who has no might.
40:30 Even the youths faint and get weary, and the young men utterly fall;
40:31 But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint.
