Matt.6:6 But you, when you pray, enter into your inner chamber, and having shut your door, pray to your Father who is in secret, and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.

Why is secrecy so important to God? Well if you have every walked among the giant redwoods some as old as when Christ Jesus walked our earth you would note something is conspicuously missing? And if you have every seen a picture of our beautiful earth from outer space you would also note something is conspicuously missing?

A logo, a sign, or signature saying “made by God”. If we don’t understand the type of God we worship how will our prayers be pleasing too Him? In other words, God is a self-effacing, that is, humble; God wants the human race to seek and grope for Him to find out the secret person of God the creator of the visible universe.

God is not a show boat demanding recognition for every little thing He has created for us unlike humans that fight for recognition for all their works. If you choose not to believe He created all things God will let you, but if you search for Him you will find treasures beyond all created thing, you will find the secret person of Yahweh God. Subsequently, this is why we pray to God in secret, not to impress others with words, as though we are putting a label/logo on God, thinking we have personal created Him from our own heart.
