Daily Bible Thought > James 2:2 - Partiality Evil Thoughts

James 2:2 For if a man with a gold ring, in fine clothing, comes into your synagogue{or, meeting}, and a poor man in filthy clothing also comes in; 2:3 and you pay special attention to him who wears the fine clothing, and say, "Sit here in a good place;" and you tell the poor man, "Stand there," or "Sit by my footstool;"
2:4 haven't you shown partiality among yourselves, and become judges with evil thoughts?

Name dropping, powerful position, getting close to those that make us look good, and feel good, is that a partiality too God, the impartial judge of all of us? Yes, it is, it is unrighteous sin of our fleshly hearts and mind, but that is exactly what religion practices justifying such conduct as good in honoring their top personalities of their faith.

The flesh worship the flesh, it must because that is its god, but those worshiping in Spirit and truth walk by faith, not sight; waiting up invisible hope of all mankind Christ Jesus and his Kingdom. They give no glory to men in their flesh, but rather honor all the same giving glory to God. They do not compromise the truth, which is Jesus Christ by glorying men so the can look and feel good. They do not see the poor as weak, and less, as God does not see any member on the body of Christ Jesus as individually righteous, but rather by accepting Christ Jesus righteousness as gift of His everlasting love for us.

There is no better or greater in the body of Christ Jesus there is one, the Christ and all belong to him for the glory of God. The foolish flesh cannot help itself in worshiping the ring on the finger of the body of Christ, as it does everything in its world from cars to stars, that is the nature of the flesh, and the laws that govern its existence.

All men are unrighteous and sinners living in death, if they accept the gift of life by faith in Christ Jesus goodness and not their own they cannot be partial or they are of the flesh, and its mind. They cannot honor some while speak evil of others, this is not the conduct of God's Holy Spirit.
