Psalms 91:1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.

Facts: It's extremely important to be honest. Because:
Being honest with yourself builds up your confidence. Remember you can't be truly confident unless you are truly honest with yourself.

For you to earn other people's trust, then it's important for you to be honest with them. No one wants to be left in the dark.
Also honesty makes you free. You wouldn't have to bother yourself to think about your next lie.

Being honest earns you respect from people around you. How would you feel if someone lied to you. You will certainly feel disrespected and that is the same way others will feel about you if you lie to them.

Being honest makes you attractive.
Honesty gives you control over other people. People believe you when you are honest with them and hence they are ever ready to do whatever you ask or tell them to do.
